This is a hidden gem. Perfect location, clean rooms, friendly staff, views of the ocean from every room, private beach. Will definitely be back.

Can’t say enough about Chatham Tides. We just came back from a weekend and I am already looking forward to going back. The front desk is so helpful and pleasant. The beds are so comfortable and the view is straight up beautiful! Right on the beach.

We rented the house this past August at Chatham Tides. It was amazing. Great views, private beach, amazing outdoor space. Central air, comfy beds (and I am fussy about my beds). The hotel staff down the road were amazing and helpful. Beach chairs and towels provided, even beach umbrellas. Highly recommend!

Each summer we visit and we’re never disappointed. The views are stunning, the grounds and beach are always well maintained, the owners and staff are so welcoming and have gotten to know us over the years. When we visit the Cape, there’s never a debate — we come back to Chatham Tides.

This resort is right on the water. Amazing views and surrounded by nature! We had bunnies hopping across the sands in front of our oceanfront deck and we fell asleep to the sound of waves. The water was warm but still refreshing. There is quite a bit of seaweed in the water at times but towards the end of the day it completely washed ashore and it was clear water.

My husband and I just returned from 5 days and 4 nights at Chatham Tides. We absolutely loved it! The room was an ocean view with a king sized bed. Room was better than I could have hoped. Spotlessly clean, great linens on the bed, nice shower, nice little kitchenette. Jay at the reception desk was just a pleasure to deal with, so informative. They provide nice beach towels, beach umbrellas, even beach chairs if you need them. We spent a couple of nights out by the gas fire pit, just having a drink and my husband had a cigar. Some couples stopped by and joined us for a while. I found the location to be perfect. Besides the beach just steps away from all the rooms the restaurants nearby are simply awesome. We had breakfast at Larry’s PX and the Capeside Kitchen, which were both fabulous.
We can’t wait to go back and hope to become regular guests. One last thing, even the toiletries were wonderful, as I was shopping in Chatham, I saw the same brand for sale in a very nice gift shop. It’s the little things that matter, too.

If you want peace and quiet, your own beach, and clean rooms then this is the place for you. We stayed in a "king bed with kitchenette and ocean views" — this had a large, comfy bed; a view of the ocean from the front door and an adjoining deck; a small kitchenette with mini fridge, 2 stove burners, Kuerig, utensils, cups and bowls (though oddly only one large plate), and sink; a small bathroom with standard tub/shower, clean toilet and a stand alone sink with mirror cabinet (no counter) ; 2 nightstands, small dresser and closet for storage, a charger/clock, and a TV. Basically everything you NEED but maybe not everything you want/would expect with a king bed room. They do have larger rooms available but they were out of our price range. For the 2 of us staying there, it suited us fine. The location is where Chatham Tides is worth it. Situated in a quiet neighborhood, right on the coast, with a section of beach for guest use. They do provide Adirondack chairs to sit in but unfortunately 3 of them were broken in some way. We loved sitting and watching the sea birds, shell collecting and exploring the rock jetties. I waded in the water but there is quite a lot of seaweed here (I'd bring water shoes). There are a good amount of eateries, trails, and of course Chatham Lighthouse right near by. The location and tidy rooms are a plus but there might be more bang for your buck elsewhere.

Good, comfortable rooms. Nice private beach and a great view. Cleaning products are a little strong though and it took two nights for the fumes to dissipate.

It was so easy to book our two rooms, and upon arrival check in was a breeze. We had a duplex 1 bedroom 1.5 bathroom. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The view is to die for. The extra twin bed in the room was a nice little touch, and I was able to put it between the two queen beds to make an extra large bed for all four of us. Proximity to the water is amazing, as is that view. The only down side, maid service was slow. They had three women cleaning the entire property. And those three stayed with each other instead of separating and cleaning the whole property. Over the course of the three nights, neither of our two rooms were cleaned.

My husband and I have stayed with Chatham Tides for over 5 years when the Handels owned it. February 2017, when attempting to schedule with the new "owners", it was nothing but phone tag. It took weeks to get someone to touch base with me and at that it was only via email. When requesting the room that we had preferred for years, the new management said that they could not guarantee me any particular room. The management is lacking the personal touch, therefore I chose to spend my money elsewhere. Unfortunately, for the new management of Chatham Tides, since we and our friends were once loyal patrons.

Absolutely perfect… beautiful view, beautiful suites! We will be making Chatham Tides a regular destination. We came for rest and relaxation… and found absolute peace and tranquility!

Beautiful views make the price of the rooms more bearable. I could see the ocean and walk right to it. The hotel/motel is based right on the water's edge.

Great location clean rooms nice kitchen area comfortable beds great view of the Narragansett Bay and really no complaints except for the weather.

Wonderful little public beach available at the end of a nice road. Wonderful trip to take on a motorcycle.

I haven't stayed in the rooms but the view is spectacular on the beach and the family that owns it is wonderful.

Thanks once again to Ellen and the staff for another memorable visit! We've been coming to the Cape on and off for over 30 years, and this is our go to place for lodging. The central location of this wonderful place is a great base for exploring the wonders that abound, and we found still undiscovered beaches again this time. The sunrises, sunsets, Moon over the waters, the water itself, have never ceased to amaze us. Our bodies come home, but our hearts always stay here.
