You don’t get what you pay for. No cleaning service … moldy bathroom, keys never work,. Very disappointed.

It’s a nice place friendly people.

They are not helpful in any way if you use a third-party site to make reservations and need to make changes. The third-party site will tell you to contact the hotel directly, and the hotel will tell you to contact the third-party site. They simply point their fingers at one another then charge you over $200 for a room you couldn't use. Seems like a nice scam you've got going.

Stayed in the holiday inn a few weeks ago and was so disappointed. Normally this chain is always cleanly and accommodating, found this experience very different than most. Upon arrival immediately noticed construction going on which we were not informed of, front desk granted our request for early check in, upon walking up to the rooms, the cleaning lady was still in the room, once “ready” the room wasn’t vacuumed, was filled the gnats, no soap or shampoo available, and none of the garbages had bags in them. Old food was left in the fridge of previous guests in one of the rooms. No beach access granted with the hotel. Although, we are all learning how to live during a pandemic, I found this just unacceptable. Rented four rooms for seven girls for a small getaway for a friend that was supposed to be getting married this year, trying to cheer her up and this experience just added to it.

Stayed two nights for a Friday 4pm wedding. Room wasn’t ready until 3:30 even though we had called a couple of times to let them know we needed it early so we could change for the wedding. The front desk could not have cared less. We had 10 minutes to get into the room, get ready and get to the wedding. Woke up the next day to see the room and bathroom had black mold. Disgusting. Would never go back.

The rooms are very clean and nice on the inside. Hotel staff is very friendly and welcoming to anything you need. Food is pretty decent in the restaurant as well.

TERRIBLE Hotel Customer Service! I DO NOT recommend this awful hotel! I called the hotel directly to pay my relatives room and gave a confirmation number and my credit card paid for someone else’s room. They had zero explanation, so I was charged twice. I then called multiple times was not called back in an appropriate time and had to request further assistance by higher management and have still NO returned call two weeks later with no refund after providing bank statements. The management did not put any priority status on returning my $300 or the Curtesy in calling me back on the matter still to this day! I disputed this issue with my bank and still very disappointed and disgusted by the way Holiday I’m Handled this. It was a business trip as well so all business should be advised! Awful customer service. This is a common complaint by other customers I see on there Facebook page!

Convenient location, 1 mile to downtown Falmouth. Double rooms are quite large and comfortable. Our bathroom on the first floor did not have a vent, nor window. That is always worrying. Bathroom ceiling is low and seemed to be done in a hurry, judging by the paint at the edges. One part of the ceiling above the bathtub had a crack. Though, no water ever accumulated on the ceiling, which is good. Maintenance was fast in fixing clogged bath tub that a previous guest left — came next day as requested. Breakfast options good (including fruits and customizable breakfast plate to order, or buffet) and similar in price to downtown Falmouth, but much more comfortable in the large breakfast area. Pool room very warm and humid.

Nice front desk staff. Very easy to find from the road. Huge parking lot.

Clean hotel. Friendly staff, go above and beyond to help you. The restuarant in the hotel is nice and very convenient.

Friendly service and awesome staff, but the bathrooms have active mold colonies on the ceiling due to no ventilation. Pretty gross.

Hotel is a bit older and in nees of some updates. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel bar is nice. Would recommend.

Visited with some friends who were staying for a wedding, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There was ample parking and it was walking distance to most things in town.

Beautiful hotel with excellent pool! Water was very warm and comfortable. Friendly, helpful staff and located in the heart of Falmouth. Highly recommended!

We came here to try out the swimming pool. We've been looking into pool memberships in the area so that we can swim through the colder months. Though the cost of membership is pricey for the Holiday Inn, their pool is nicer than others nearby. The hotel lobby was clean and modern and the clerk was friendly. The pool itself is kept at a comfortable temperature and the entire room was heated. There were several ways to get into the water, including steps, ladders, and a seated lift for those who might need it. The water was chlorinated, but the smell was not overwhelming. We were very pleased with our visit and plan to come again!

Great place to stay. Very polite and helpful staff. Only thing that made me do 4 stars instead of 5 is that u have to go to the very end of the building to get to the only elevator. At the time they were measuring to put in a new elevator and other maintenance. More than likely planned to be done before the summer busy season of the Cape. I have stayed here before in the past with no issues. Only thing I wish they did have was complementary coffee in the lobby with a variety of flavored coffee creamer, like most other hotels have. They did have a Keurig in the room with the coffee and the basic condiments for it. Also had a mini fridge and microwave. Great variety of TV & movies on demand, free Wi-Fi. Reasonably priced. Would recommend to others and stay here again.

Rooms are dated, wallpaper in bathroom is peeling off the wall, walls & ceilings were marked and the carpet had more stain spots than clean spots. As a bonus you get to play Easter egg hunt; return the trove of objects you find from previous guests to the front desk, and you get a free night's stay! On the upside I did get to listen to a coyote yelping for the first time in my life!

Stayed a few nights here and there is no "FREE" breakfast unless it is with your room rate which was surprising, even in the off tourist season. Rooms are clean and large for an older hotel. The floor plan lacks desire but it is easy enough to navigate with the help of the signs. Staff was friendly but seemed confused at times. Exercise room is smaller but has an assortment of equipment. Would stay here again if in the area as there is not many chain choices here.

Went to restaurant that we found on the web said it was a steakhouse. Then we found out it was in the Holiday inn. We kept an open mind. Very limited menu. Bar was busy restaurant dead. Would not go back unless we we're staying at Holiday inn.

So far. Absolutely BELOW Holiday Inn standard! >after Day 1 — if possible — the hotel went from 2 to 1 star. This is THE WORST IHG I've ever stayed in. Check in — slow. Room — old and smelly Weight room — more broken than works 2 exterior doors on our side of the building are broken No complimentary breakfast … and YES — I am a Platinum member… but no such thing here.

I thought this was a very nice hotel in a beautiful setting, plus not far from the action. The staff was super friendly and went out of there way to make our stay better. Amber even hauled a microwave into our room for us. Bob S also got forks and condiments for us after the restaurant was closed and Diane told us about some cool places to eat nearby. Coffee was awesome, brand new beds made it like I was sleeping in a cloud. Indoor pool was clean and well kept. They must have updated because everything looked new to me while still retaining that New England charm.

My husband and I was a the Holiday inn this weekend. We had a fantastic time. The food was excellent and the waitress Brittany was one of the best. So polite and personable. Also we met the head chef and we let him know the food was fantastic. So if people go to the Holiday inn in Falmouth go and have dinner and meet Brittany. Also the rooms were nice and clean.

I stayed for 2 nights and went through Hot-Wire and got the room for 50% off for the two nights. Then the young girl when I arrived overcharged me $209.48. They corrected it the next day, then when I was ready to leave they charged me another $50.00. They overcharged me two times and I had a TOTAL FIT. They gave me free food, breakfast, and appetizer, and dessert for making mistakes. Also, the pool is also for local people who have a membership. So, I had to leave and go back because at one time there were too many local people in the pool. The room was very QUIET.

Did not enjoy the stay Musty smell in room, some black on ceiling, no fan in bathrooms, had a hard time opening outside door and door to my room. Other outside door was open all the time, questionable security. All doors are so old, it really dates the place. Would not stay there again.

My boyfriend likes to live by the seat of his pants and after a long day of travel we arrived here at about midnight and there was nothing available. Meaning there was no one in any of the hotel office. We finally found the Holiday Inn and we're very grateful and checked in. We were surprised when they gave us coupons for breakfast and excited about that. So I arrived for breakfast about 10:15 and Not only was breakfast over at 10 but the dining area was completely closed and would not serve food even if I wanted to pay. The accommodations were pretty good. Very Muggy and the bathrooms don't have fans which makes it kind of tough when you're trying to get ready in the morning, mold on ceiling from dampness… This is where bathroom fans come in handy… But luckily we had NO hot water so mirrors didn't fog up. I guess that's all I have to say… Beggers can't be choosers and we were happy to have any place to sleep after a long drive.

The room rate is way too high for a crappy room. Exposed wires in the wall, leaky toilet, smelly hallways. For the amount of money per night, you'd think they'd update the place.

Only stayed overnight, but my wife is there longer. Two things, mainly. One: there is a sign saying game room on every floor. There is no game room, but a place that looks abandoned. Two: get back from sightseeing, and none of the four keys for either of the two rooms works to either get us in the building or enter a room. Not fun to deal with with you have a toddler with a dirty diaper.

Nice spot. Restaurant is OK. Here for business but certainly would bring the family here. Seems a little pricey.

It was great! Many nice employees. They were very flexible and did not waste time getting our comfort.

Nice location not far from downtown, room is clean, staff is friendly, restaurant is good for breakfast.

Front desk personnel were personable and helpful. Rooms were comfortable. My biggest complaint is that for the daily rate, breakfast should be included.

After driving 12 hours with a toddler, all my husband and I wanted was a comfy clean bed. Well, we got that, a great location, and super friendly staff. A special thanks to Carla for getting us that all important first cup of coffee. She was very sweet and super helpful.

Location is OK. Close enough to grocery, woods hole, main st (Not really walking distance though). Room is old, below average holiday inn, worse than some holiday in express location. If you want to eat breakfast at hotel, try to buy it with room. It's expensive for the quality ($15+ per adult).

Breakfast and service in this place is a joke. One nasty servent!

Terrible experience. Extremely rude staff. They completely messed up our reservations and didn't compensate us with anything or lower the price, not even free breakfast or a later checkout time. The manager came to our room and asked to come in and check it because someone complained about the smell of cigarettes in the hallway and we had been smoking outside of the hotel and she told us we can't smoke outside because the smell is so strong. I was appalled. The only thing that made it the littlest bit enjoyable was the waiter my boyfriend and I had at the restaurant in the hotel, his name is Timothy, he was awesome, best waiter I've ever had. But still, I do not recommend you stay here unless you want to be pissed off the whole time and burdened with bulls**t. Only rated 5 stars so you guys would see this review.

It's a holiday inn. It's a reasonable price for a place to sleep.

Have been here a few nights far and will be here 3 more weeks for work. Very accommodating staff, comfortable beds, and good heat and air. My only problem is with the Internet. Hard to work so I often find myself at Starbucks doing paperwork. I would definitely recommend.

There pool is nice cLean and warm.

Exspensive as ever. The seamist is a resort an the stays are great an the rooms are the best. The holiday inn is ok but not worth the stay at all.

Just stayed here for the night, and I enjoyed it even though everyone else wrote negative reviews. Great soft beds, nice pool, and the people were respectable. The buffet was nice but wasn't free ($11). All and all, a nice place.
