During the storm last week a tree fell on our house ripping our power lines off the house so my fiancée booked a sweet at marriot hotel in bridgewater for us for the night so we would have power and heat and looked foward to being able to enjoy the pool… well when we arrived they handed us a flashlight and told us the elevators were down (no big deal) but when we got up to our room there was no power apparently they only had generators for the loby and hall but failed to tell us they had no power in the rooms (the whole reason why we booked in the first place) so by then the storm was getting worse and to dangerous to travel in so we ended up staying in a dark freezing room with no heat with the kids (one being a 1 year old) if that wasn't bad enough we were awoken at 2 am by a large group hanging out in the hall because you know the hall was the only place with heat and light and who wants to stay in a dark rooms so we complained to the front desk beforr having them moved to the loby. It gets better when we woke up that morning and we could actually see the room in the daylight we had discovered we were sleeping in a disgusting nasty soiled sheets of coarse I couldn't even take a hot shower after finding out what we slept in all night due to the lack of power we left and emailed the company asking for a full refund because who the heck wants to pay over 200 to stay in a dark freezing room and disgustingly dirty sheets with bodily fluids and this lady's and gentlemen is the response we got from the company that they would only refund us $50 after emailing them what a joke… I'm disgusted that this is how they handle customer service I'm appalled they did not refund us in full after all this or at least try to make things right I could have stayed home with no heat and power and saved over 200 and at least have had clean sheets! This is so wrong of them so if you don't want to sleep in soiled stained sheets don't book with marriot hotels! I would stay far away from them their rooms are just as bad as customer service I have pictures that I am happy to share.
