Located right next to a school which seemed odd. Terrible quality rooms. We were told this is a new location but the rooms were less than spectacular. Pillows were small and square like a throw pillow. Apparently this is a corporate initiative so bring your own. We stayed 5 nights so we had to go buy our own. There was a huge almost 2 inch gap below our main door which was very uncomforting. Bathroom was less than impressive and the painting on the walls was less than professional. We picked this location because it was close to a T stop but it was under construction so we had to walk to the next stop. Staff was friendly and complimentary breakfast was what you would expect. Hallways smelt smokey sometimes.

Melinda at the front desk was wonderful and knowledgeable. The other men working were the opposite. We booked this hotel because they said they had cots and could accommodate three children. When we arrived, the man said that they didn’t have cots and he wasn’t sure that they ever had any cots. When we asked for additional blankets, the man said that they had no spare bankets (and there were no extra blankets in the room) and they couldn’t take them from another room. Not sure why they don’t keep extra blankets. Immediately upon our arrival, our credit card was charged and I was asked to sign for it. The man was irritated that I wouldn’t sign after I asked him to use a different credit card. He told me he ran the new credit card but still wanted me to sign the one that he had just run. Seemed very shady. During breakfast (and other times during the day), the hot water was out every single day and when questioned, the man said it would take another 10 minutes. The walls are paper thin and you could hear the people talking in the next room. Again, Melinda was awesome and One of the only positives. The others could not help us with transportation and were not knowledgeable about the area or transportation system. The location was good but don’t expect to get any advice as far as local restaurants.

This place started out good. Sadly though it didn't last. The shower stopped having hot water. There was a fridge but no microwave. And the whole week I was there the fire department was working on the alarms. Not to mention you can't make a left out of the parking lot forcing you to go right and turn around in a lot down the road. However the staff was nice and I wasn't bothered. And there's a giant chair… which is cool… if your in to that sort of thing.

Everything is great except for the mega salty eggs served every morning.

Wish I could give — 1 star! AVOID AT ALL COSTS especially if you pay through Orbitz or Expedia. The very rude Person staffing the front desk at approximately 940pm on 4/3/18 refused to give me the room even though I paid $153 on Orbitz. He insisted I have a credit card to take a deposit, yet every hotel its ok to pay a deposit thru debit. It’s no wonder HOward Johnson’s are going the way of Toys R Us and out of business and there are fewer and fewer every year.

Breakfast was very good. 16 Chairs for travel Group of 46 people!?

New hotel very clean, nice big rooms. Small breakfast room for about 20 people.

They remodeled and it looks great. Definetly wouldn't think it's a Howard Johnson. Rooms were great, parking very convenient, new modeled bathrooms and rooms with tv's and accessories. Would definitely stay again rather than one of the downtown expensive hotels.

While in Quincy ma. Howard Johnson is my only choice, I highly suggest staying here it is a crown jewel.

Clean. Friendly. Room was had good style and was nicely arranged with alot of extra space. Bathroom was clean and well stocked with towels. TV had better picture than the other hotels I had stayed at on the trip. Would recommend for sure!

Thin walls, squeaky floor, but parking is free, room was clean, bed was comfy, and shower was hot. If you're OK with listening to your neighbor's conversation and vice versa, this is an OK place to stay.

Close to Boston city center. Ample parking spots. However, the handicapped accessible room did not have grab bars, and the shower seat lacked all the plastics on four legs. Not safe.

Nice newer hotel. Thin walls where I could hear several neighbors' televisions. No closets rather some hooks by the room's door. Breakfast was ok but nothing to write home about.

My First room was very dirty with a very strong Chemical smell of cleaning products. Hair on the bed spreads and in the beds. Lots of ling Hair and little toilet paper balls and clumps on the bathroom floor like the toilet had over flowed. Asked for a new room and the shower would barely put out water. Maybe 25% of a normal flow and it was like warm so no shower for me. Stay away.

The hotel is in a good location, not far from the subway to Boston. Very nice and clean room Just too bad for breakfast at 7am, 30am was already all over.

Nice hotel not too far from the Metro, about a 10 minute walk. Nice room.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Common areas were clean snd nicely decorated. Restrooms were very tidy.

The food was good, and there place was really new. The only problem we had was that the walls weren't soundproof so at night, when someone opened or closed a door, we could hear it loudly so we couldn't sleep until it was really late. Apart from that, the stay was good.

The hotel is new and clean. Rooms are large but bare bones. A few drawers but no closet. No vanity or shelves in the bathroom. Breakfast similarly bare bones but OK. Great location if you have business or family in Quincy.

Service was great and the rooms were nice and clean (really small window). All rooms are ground level and parking is great. Breakfast was so-so, but they did have bacon and eggs. When finding the place, you have to approach with the hotel on the right or else you'll be crossing double yellow lines. All in all, a very good hotel.

Horrible. Had to move rooms because the air conditioner was leaking like Niagara falls. Got no help from staff to move. Building looks pretty from the outside but built cheaply. Minimal amenities in the room. Very basic. Clearly the owner is working on a short budget. Minimal staffing. Almost $200 a night… a joke. Sorry but we travel a lot and holiday inn does way better for less money. Clearly not an IHG hotel.

Nice hotel in the suburbs of Boston, near the subway to go into town. Affordable price. Very clean. Family Friendly.
