The hotel is located pretty far from a Subway station, but is across the street from the bus stop where the express line (separate charge from a normal T pass) gets you into the city very quickly. The Restaurant/Bar called Social on the first floor past the elevators is pretty nice. The rooms are a good size for two people, but the beds are a little too firm.

Without a doubt an extremely great place to stay. The hotel is accommodating, has a pool, exercise center, dining area, office and work areas and a beautiful view around it. From the tenth floor you can really see everything around you, and the cars passing by underneath. I absolutely loved staying here with my friends, it will be a memory I'll keep for a while.

Worst hotel customer service I've ever experienced. I had a flight that was delayed and eventually cancelled. I wasn't able to make it to check in. When I called and asked for a refund I spoke with a woman named Franny and expressed my situation. Told me that a manager would call me back and never did. I called again the following day and spoke with the same lady. She was rushing me to get off the phone and wasn't of any help at all whatsoever. If you choose to stay here, hopefully its a last resort.

Had a great stay at this hotel. Parking comes up quick if you aren't familiar with the entrance to the garage and can be difficult to circle back to in rush hour. Staff was great, room was clean and comfortable. Would stay here again.

I can't say enough about our stay. We stayed two nights this week while visiting Boston. It was a lovely hotel. It was a very busy memorial day weekend and yet the staff were friendly and the room was beautiful and clean. It was also a quick 20 to 30 minute drive into the city. Next time we are back in the area, we will definitely stay here.

Everyone at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Parking is a bit expensive at $28 overnight, but give you a pass that let's you come in and out as much as you want which is very nice. Rooms were very nice, clean, and updated. The restaurant in the hotel was also good.

Spent two nights on this place. Pro: Check in was smooth, friendly staff. Room is nice and clean. Con: -Some rushes on the bathtub. -Parking was horrible due to the exit will most likely to lead you to the opposite one way traffic. -Not the best location due to the traffic underneath the hotel, you can hear the traffic loud and clear. The receptionist should have warned or make sure the guest aware of the one way traffic and the exit, since most of the guests are not familiar with the exit and entrance. There was sign but it is still confusing for out of town guest.

The rooms are good, the location is good, but the fact that it's built over a highway should be taken into consideration. (Yes, you can easily hear the traffic at night. ) Thankfully the AC unit has a loud fan and I'm a heavy sleeper — still, fair warning. There are a few great places to eat nearby and the restaurant/bar on the lower level is fantastic. All in all, not a bad visit.

Clean but really not downtown… provide a car and parking not included.

It's on top of an interstate, very loud all night. I was on the sixth floor maybe there are better floors. Fitness room was decent but didn't get to use more than once due to being exhausted from lack of sleep. The service was fine, nothing wrong there.

Meeting room space is adequate. Hotel staff is polite and responsive. On site restaurant is good.

I have stayed in hotels in downtown NYC, Manila, Seoul, Delhi and Dallas and none of them are as loud as this place. It straddles the freaking Interstate. I-90 traffic drives under the hotel and planes from Logan fly over it. It was like something out of a bad movie. Nearly impossible to access from I-90 Eastbound. You can drive under it however you cannot drive to it. I went to the airport early and slept at my gate. Even with the announcements the airport was quieter than my hotel room. What were you thinking when you built this dump?

Excellent staff! Delicious breakfast. Unfortunately, terrible location and poor facilities. Directly over the interstate and train tracks. Roaring trucks, buses, and trains directly under your feet. Horrible nonstop noise. Made a futile attempt to drown the noise by blasting the HVAC — so the room was either freezing or roasting, nothing in between. Roller shades with a huge gap down the middle that do nothing to block highway headlights, let alone noise. Gaps on bottom and sides of door let light and noise pour in from the hallway. Bathtub didn't drain — ended up standing in dirty drain backwash up over my ankles.

Friendly desk staff and housekeepers. Super rad view of the Mass Turnpike (Literally directly under my room. ) I didn't get any noise from it like others have mentioned. Nice bathroom remodel. Shampoo not that great, but everything else was fine. The heating unit did make a fair amount of noise, but I never noticed it while I was sleeping. Biggest down side … the gentleman running the restaurant the day of the snowstorm (March 13th? ) revealed himself to not handle stressful situations well. I am a long time F&B industry professional who has encountered similar situations, and I can completely commiserate with the pressure of such, but found him to be brash and harried. Additionally, I overheard him demean guests frustrated by the lack of more conventional cuisine. I understand wanting to elevate the cuisine, but people often expect hotel restaurants to be at least moderately accomodating to the palate of a majority of guests. That being said, the food was awesome and the bar staff was extremely nice. Extremely! The lady shared her popcorn with me after I had been told on three separate occasions (late lunch and twice during dinner) the kitchen wasn't serving food due to limited supplies. Furthermore, the guy behind the bar actually seemed to be more in charge than the floor manager. All in all, I enjoyed my stay. If I ever need to come back to the area again, I will stay here.

For being a Crowne plaza I was disappointed in the room. It was clean but very small and I was right next to the elevator. Which maybe half of the problem. Staff at breakfast was excellent. Breakfast is a step above most. The Room furnishings are no better then the hapton inn. My experience could have been five star if I didn't have to listen to the elevator every five minutes on top of being in the small room.

This hotel was a problem from the beginning. We attempted to move our booking by one day when our flight was changed and were told it would cost $20/day more. We would have found other accommodations but were then told it was taken care of. When we checked out it turns out we were charged anyway. The hotel itself is over the highway which makes the road noise in the room significant. The beds are adequate but the blankets were rough and wouldn't stay on the bed. I woke up multiple times with the blanket half way off the bed on one side or the other. Otherwise the room was simple but clean. The free Wi-Fi was basically useless as it only lasted 5-30 min at a time before going out. Made it impossible to watch Netflix or play games on the phones when we were snowed in. The breakfast was nice with plenty of choices and the staff was friendly, gaining this hotel the extra star instead of getting one, but we will never stay here again.

The rooms are nice and luxurious. The staff is friendly and quite helpful. The breakfast buffet is quite tasty.

The pool is really small (like only allows 6 people small. There is no microwave, refrigerator, or much good shades (there was pull down ones. But they had a huge split in the middle. And didn’t do anything to make it dark) Other then that it was an okay stay. Clean place, nice bar, friendly staff, okay room size.

I had to live here for just over a week when disaster stuck in my building, and the only complaint I had about my new “home” was that I didn’t have all my stuff with me (well, and that it cost $15/day to get a fridge…). The beds are sufficiently comfortable — as are the couches in each room, for sleeping as well as sitting. Sizable TVs with HDMI inputs. Very very good (albeit fancy and expensive…) food at the restaurant and for room service. Extraordinarily friendly and accommodating staff. Nice area by the lobby to sit at a desk and get some work done. And pet friendly (my cat had a pretty decent time as well)! While I would’ve preferred to spend the week in my own home, I’m glad this hotel was the backup when that wasn’t possible.

Nice rooms on Executive floor. Bathroom is on the small side with not a lot of counter space. Free coffee in am down in lobby a nice touch. Also cold infused water in lobby was a plus.

We stayed for two nights right around Thanksgiving. The night before and Thanksgiving night. Staff were super nice and the rooms were clean. We had requested a room with a sofa bed and when we got there we had a rather small room with no sofa bed. With two young children we were not looking forward to the small room and a roll away cot, but the front desk upgraded us to an executive room with the sofa bed with no problems and no charge. The buffet was a little cold but it was a holiday and quite a few people were there so that was understandable. Parking is 28 bucks a day, in the past I was able to prepay for parking and save some money but unfortunately that wasn't an option. Checkout was 12 not the usual 10 or 11 so that was also a big plus. Overall I would recommend this hotel and will stay again.

Very nice hotel for business or pleasure. Rooms spacious and clean. A bit of road noise since it sits over the highway, but nothing that kept me awake.

Street parking was free after 7. Free breakfast voucher from front desk rep. Great pool, room was clean and comfortable for all 4 of us. Convenient location to highway. Great food nearby and Dunkin’ across the street. Highly recommend crown plaza.

Somewhat clean rooms, I doubt the sheets where changed in between guests. Quiet even though a express way goes underneath the building. Bus stop for express line to downtown right across the street which a definite plus and time saver.

Small rooms, yet very clean, comfortable and modern. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located only 15 minutes from Boston's hospital district and offers a reduced rate for patients. Very convenient.

The breakfast is oddly not in the main area and they do not make it apparent you're in a restaurant. The elevators seem to not work correctly and one actually stopped operating while we were in it. Very scary and the staff did not seem to think it was a big deal. I would not stay here again if I could find a cheaper room.

Great service, perfect location, literally ON the pike. Rooms and furniture could use with some serious upgrading, especially considering how much you pay for a night here. But overall I'd definitely recommend this place, but just be aware that it will take you a half hour by car and about 45 minutes or so by bus to get downtown, but both options are very readily available and nearby.

Really nice hotel, stayed there as part of a Cosmos bus tour. Very clean and lovely room, daily free water and coffee station in the lobby, and very nice and well priced breakfast menu with friendly staff.

Hotel was excellent, location less so. Trucks honking in the middle of the night is NOT the hotel's fault, mind, but still jarring at 3 AM. Aside from that, however, my stay was lovely!

Has improved significantly in the last year. Parking is free with a disabled placard or plate, with no limit on how many times you leave and return. If you book your room through a third party, be careful to check your bill; I have occasionally been billed multiple times for the same stay. Rates vary wildly, though you will usually get the lowest by calling the front desk directly (the IHG rewards site, AAA, and other discount programs are sometimes lower).

Kind service! I arrived in the Boston area in the afternoon, had dinner with a friend, and by the time I got to my hotel It was clear a had food poisoning. At 1:30 in the morning, I called guest services to see how I should dispose of the "waste" in my trash bin and a man voluntarily brought me ginger ale, a bottle of water, salt, and some fresh cups. They took such good care of me!

The staff is professional. They are very concerned about cleanliness. The rooms are spacious and clean. The only thing missing is a mini fridge for keeping things cold.

Staff was pleasant. Location convenient. Room had issues with closet, toilet, lighting and A/C control. 'We'll notify engineering' was the staff response. Super. Maybe they'll fix it before they give that room to another guest.

The hotel is over a major highway which my son loved but it is noisy. Curtains block all light but the staff leave the curtains up during the day and the sun heats up the room terribly. Upon arrival, we had to ask to have the toilet fixed because it ran. The tub dripped constantly. The room was fairly clean, light fixtures broken and beds were mediocre. The parking fee was absolutely absurd and had I known beforehand, never would have stayed here. The per night rate is higher than what it's worth and factor in no free breakfast and the exorbitant parking fee, I would not recommend.

Decent price for being very convenient to Boston. Was planning on meeting a friend in Boston but hotels in the city were at least twice the price. Manager at the desk was very friendly and check in was fairly quick even though there was a long line. The room was very clean, beds were decent with plenty of pillows. Parking was not free and pretty expensive for overnight, would recommend parking in the garage across the street for a lot less. Would definitely plan on staying again next time I'm in Boston.

I recently attended a conference held at this property. Although some of the issues could be related to the group planning the event, many of them were due to the location itself. Several of the sessions were held in the ballroom. Since this room is directly over the highway, traffic noise was an issue. Also, there was a lot of noise from the kitchen, which made it more noisy on that end of the room. Only one entrance/exit to the room at the end of a narrow hallway made i…t a safety concern. The coffee kept running out all day. Breakout sessions were held upstairs. A large room was divided with air walls. There was no airflow in the rooms; several people had to get up and leave. The larger room had a microphone and speaker, so the noise from that room drowned out the speakers in the smaller room. I will not attend a conference at this location in the future.

It was so difficult to get this hotel and Google map even has a mistake on how to find it. We drove here for a long time. Besides, the attitude of the reception is not good. He had bad temper which I think it was not appropriate. I strongly disagree to recommend this place!

There are two reasons I dislike this hotel: one is the bad location, it's not only hard to find, but also noisy at midnight. Two is the really terrible attitude the reception man has, I don't want to be clear his name, but it's too unfair for us to receive such a bad temper. When I read some of others' comment, I decide to rank this hotel with one-start, not recommend.

This place literally shakes because it is situated directly atop a busy highway. It's pretty much what you would expect from a place in this type of location. The rooms are small, but clean. I was surprised that there wasn't even a fridge in my room. Some of the light fixtures were broken, which unfortunately made them unusable. Service was good though and the location was convenient so overall it was not a bad experience.

Very noisy due to I-90 directly beneath the property. The Massachusetts Turnpike runs directly below the hotel, making it difficulty to sleep due to the constant road noise and regular rumbling when large vehicles pass. In addition, there is no fridge in the rooms and only certain, unmarked, floors have an ice machine. The staff use the regular elevators, popping on and off at odd floors when trying to go to and from your room as there does not appear to be a service elevator. The room itself was just fine otherwise.

The rooms were clean, the staff was nice but the hotel is located over a major highway. I was on the 12th floor and I could hear the vehicles clearly… it took about 3 nights before I heard them as "white noise" and could sleep at night. The hotel can also be a little tricky to get to because of the on and off ramps and merging lanes that are connected to the highway.

$28 to park for the night as the hotel doesn't own the parking garage and the parking fee is not included in the room fee. Hotel is located directly over the Mass Pike and Google Maps couldn't navigate to it (it navigates you to that point in the middle of the highway).

Just had a quick meeting. It was nice enough. The worst part was getting there… the surrounding streets are awfully paid out.

I rarely write reviews but my experience was so bad that I had to comment. I just returned from staying at this hotel for over a week for business. I do not recommend it at all. The only positive aspect was that the maids who clean your room are very nice. The front desk staff did not greet me once as I entered and exited every day for over a week. They charged my credit card (over $2000! ) for the room when they assured me that they would be charging my company for the room. A representative from my company even called them to make sure that they didn't charge my card and it still happened. And I talked personally with the front desk personnel who admitted that they made a mistake and they would cancel the charge on my card. It did not happen and I was still charged over $2000. My company has had this problem with them in the past and will not be using this hotel again. My fiancée slipped on the wet lobby floor (maids were mopping and didn't have a sign up), falling to the floor. The girls at the front desk laughed at him when he fell. My car was sideswiped while it was parked in the garage by another car and the response of the front desk staff was "we are not responsible. " As we were driving away from the hotel, an employee was clearing snow with a bobcat and almost hit our car. He told my fiancée "I don't care, I'm working. " I would avoid this hotel if you can.

Great location for the price. The rooms were clean and modern. The chair was beat up, but no biggie. My only complaint was the Wi-Fi. It didn't work good on my laptop or phone. Parking is NOT FREE… To be expected being in the city though. I would stay here again.

This was the first time I stayed in a hotel over a highway. The rooms and staff are nice. The angle in which the room access card is used on the door is bizarre and hallways could use a little refresh but I would definitely stay here again.

Myfirst time staying was good. Im a neat freak so the cleanliness of the room was satisfying. A. C kept me nice and cool day and night. Tv is nice. Wifi worked good. Bathroom is clean. Bed was nice and clean. Plenty outlets. Ill be going back for my third stay soon. Ive had no problems so far and communication is good when ever I spoke to staff. I read reviews and havent experienced the noise or problems others have gone through and hope I wont on my future stays.

This hotel is one of the best of Boston.
