The best hotel experience ever! Not only were the staff the nicest, most helpful people, but the entire place is amazing top to bottom! My sister took me for my birthday this weekend, and we’ve decided to make it a yearly tradition! Can’t thank you all enough✌🏽❤️

Fenway park a hop skip and a jump away. The rooms are amazing. We ended up with the “rolling stones “ room. Just wow! Large balcony and can see Fenway park from the balcony. Heated out door pool with loungers. The staff are awesome, so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the VERB.

Great hotel! Staff was awesome breakfast was amazing including a Saturday acoustic performance. Room was clean and included interesting touches adding to the experience!

Just wow! In all my life I’ve not encountered a better experience traveling. The hotel is a treasure trove of interesting rock n roll memorabilia and images. It is clean and spacious. The lobby is super cool and very unique. And I cannot say enough good things about the staff. Every single encounter was pleasant and professional and caring. They made every encounter fun. I hope I don’t miss people but a shout out to the breakfast staff, Cole, Mackenzie, Chris and Joey. A huge shout out to the front desk staff because I know I missed names. Every single one of you touched me in some way and made my stay memorable. Love the pic we took with Joey. And y’all made the Aerosmith Pink Crew fun too! Thank you. Thank you. I want so badly to return to Boston just so I can stay at The Verb again. If you are on the fence about staying there just do it. Trust me it’s more than you can ever imagine.

My wife and I have been all over Boston and have stayed at many places this is hands-down one of the greatest spots we’ve been to the classic retro feel is on point and the location is amazing I would recommend this place to anybody going to Fenway for a concert or just for a cool place to check out.

Over the top customer service here! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The front desk ladies Mackenzie and kailyn were incredibly kind upon check in and hooked me up with an upgrade to a balcony room for my birthday free of charge! Mackenzie also brought a complimentary bottle of champagne to my room shortly after arrival so we could celebrate my birthday properly 😎 The Led Zeppelin room was an absolute treat! The Marshall speaker in there was BANGIN! And the free vinyl library was so cool! Balcony overlooking the entrance to the hotel too! I also greatly enjoyed the free breakfast! The ladies were so helpful and kind! AND there was a live acoustic duo for breakfast entertainment! I couldn’t believe it! SO EPIC! Wish I made it in the heated pool while the snow was falling…it looked SO TEMPTING! Next time! Chris at the front desk was also super friendly and hooked all of my friends up with free beanie hats and keychains so we can rep the verb now! EVERYTHING about this hotel is 100! I can’t even believe it exists…truly! I will never stay anywhere else in Boston again. I’m sure of it! Thanks so so much for making my birthday THE BEST! 💜💜💜

Such a fun atmosphere with heated outdoor pool!

The Verb was perfect for our overnight in Boston. The staff was amazing and went the extra mile to make our stay special for my son that was there for a medical appointment. We had so much fun with the records and swimming in the very heated pool on a chilly rainy night! We will definitely be staying there for future appointments!

I will never stay anywhere else in Boston! This place was clean, had fun decor and great views. The staff was so nice. Breakfast was fantastic and the sushi at night was amazing. Loved the heated pool and music! Free bottled water! Totally worth it. Better than Disney lol. Great place!

My boyfriend I spent one night at The Verb Hotel, and let me tell you, it wasn’t enough. The atmosphere is awesome. Although very vintage themed, there is a fair mix of all music types. The staff were all friendly, from the valet to the front desk to anyone we saw in the hallways. The album collection is amazing. The only negative I would say is our TV screen was blue. I have no clue why, but it was. But we didn’t watch much TV anyway, so not a bug deal for us.
I want to give a special shout-out to Jordan. He handled our check-in and answered all of our questions and even engaged with us while we were looking at the album collection. He was kind and really knew the area. He never got annoyed with all our questions either, always remaining professional, polite and courteous. 10 out of 10 would totally recommend. I can’t wait to stay here again.

This place is amazing … love this place the coffee is so amazing the room is amazing the pool is absolutely amazing. Bathrobes superb. Record player in every room. You can shred guitars in the lobby … everyone who works here are friendly and outstanding… did I mention the pool… its heated. Would love to live here full time… I could be the verb mascot. 1 million starz.

This is my new go to Hotel. Great staff, great atmosphere and great album selection.

We stayed here and it was by far one of our best family trips! Tho it was only a weekend getaway for our daughter's birthday, the entire staff made sure to make it memorable for her! From confirmation of our reservation via phone, personal greetings upon dropping off our bags early so we could enjoy the morning prior to check-in, to the easy check-in process, her name on the marquee (which lit up at night! ), a special tray of treats in our room with all her fave candy, the awesome heated pool safety reservation, delicious breakfast options with kind and friendly staff who took safety protocol seriously, to
easy check-out. Everything was extraordinary easy and we all cannot wait to return!

The verb hotel is a gem! The staff is professional, friendly and super helpful. The outdoor pool is a must. Even in the snow it was amazing! The staff went above and beyond with the champagne and chocolate in the room. We are looking forward to another visit! Highly recommend!

The heated pool in — 8°c weather was amazing! The concept of the hotel is a refreshing change from all the basic boring hotel chains. The location is mint and the staff are superb. Joey really nailed it! Plan to stay here for all Boston trips from now on.

The verb is definitely worth it. Amazing atmosphere music and more. Jordan one of the producers is incredible, great personality and very helpful. We plan to make this our goto spot when we visit Boston every time.

I will never stay anywhere else in Boston. Comfortable rooms, a fantastic restaurant attached, incredibly helpful staff, yes of course. That’s par for the course. But the design and extras. Made the trip. Being a vinyl junkie I cannot overstate how good it feels to be able to throw a record on when we got back from sightseeing. 10 out of ten.

Awesome customer service! Love the valet service. The Marshall amp setup in all the rooms is meant to compliment the thousands of vinyl records you can borrow However it also gave the answer I've been looking for for years trying to get perfection in sound from your acoustic guitar both with headphones during private practice and during amplified performance!

I LOVED the set up in the room/turn table and all, so of course I took advantage of enjoying the sounds of a few vinyls… a lil Pearl Jam started it off.
The pool was awesome and we all just enjoyed every minute of it.
Long story short, the Verb ROCKS… a great place to stay for celebrating my daughter's 18th Birthday… awesome choice Baby Girl!

Excellent experience during my stay on March 10th. Friendly service, super cool room, great music, comfy bed, nice bathroom, free breakfast, year round pool, great location and a cute dog near the check in desk! 10 out of 10. Can’t wait to return!

This is one of the neatest hotels I have ever seen. Staff was super friendly, held my bags til check in. Recommend restaurants. The vibe here is absolutely awesome!

Upon entering we were home! Everyone was very friendly, loved the theme, bright colors and super friendly staff! Room was like stepping back in time with the cool decor. The pools heater was fixed the day before so the water was not up to temp. I made my kids wait until night to let it heat up some more! it was about 30⁰ outside and the pool was maybe 60⁰. Joey brought the kids out towels, laughed with me about how crazy they were and then surprised the kids with hot chocolate! He recommended some great restaurants as well. We would 100% stay here again! LOVED our experience and the staff just made us feel like they were family and we were home. Joey catherine says hi!

We have been spending nights at the Verb for a few months now with an ill family member at Beth Israel. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff and the kindness and compassion they have shown my family. Not only is the hotel cool, funky/fun and cozy but the staff are kind and attentive. This will forever be my go-to Boston hotel. AND YOU CAN BRING YOUR DOG! And they have an adorable hotel pup. This place is phenomenal.

Great time great people. The Rock and Roll hotel has a record player in every room and a large library to choose from. It is located right next to Fenway Park and lots of great restaurants to choose from in area. It was to COOL!

Great hotel with a very friendly staff and super clean. Make sure you read the fine print though in case they don't tell you up front, it's $55 a night for Valet parking. This was a surprise to me considering we weren't told about the charge and the Valet did nothing more than hang on to my car keys over night. I parked my car and it didn't move until I got in it the next morning. It is, however a secure parking lot. Other than that it's a super fun place to stay. We will be back.

Just a short walk to Fenway, plenty of shopping around, lots of great restaurants. The Rock and Roll atmosphere is amazing! the only thing that it doesn't have is free parking for guests, $55 for over night!

Loved our stay there. Just wish they would comp parking if you spend the night. The stay is pricey but worth it. Parking would be nice.

I just stayed there and I LOVED IT. The pool at night is wicked and I love the rooms and staff. The restaurant & bar is great. I really liked they had karaoke at night inside the bar/restaurant and you can jam out to them singing in the pool The location is AMAZING. I will go back there!

I won a contest for free Beyoncé & Jay-Z tickets and a free night stay. As soon as I got there all of the staff were so welcoming! The room was beautiful and the records that the room had rocked! The staff made sure that we had a way to get to the concert and wanted to make sure that we had the best experience possible. The pool is really cool and clean! When it came time to check out Hannah helped us out lot she was able to answer all of our questions and more. The hotel had free breakfast and nitro coffee. Overall, if you want an awesome place to stay The Verb is the best hands down!

Everything about this hotel is perfect from checking in to checking out! They thought of everything the pool area is perfect because of there is a concert you can listen to while having a drink at the pool the restaurant serves appetizers until 1:30 which is perfect after you go to game or concert you can get more food. The rooms are so cute all the details from the bags of toilet paper to the ironing board and even the record player that you can grab any record you want. The front desk girls were amazing we had an issue with bikes we rented and the stored them for us til morning which was perfect. The coffee station is perfect and we got to see inside the amazing bus! It 20 steps to Fenway which is perfect. We would highly recommend yes there’s no elevator but not a big deal. Loved this hotel!

My boyfriend and I were going to a concert at the house of blues and we were looking for rooms near by the concert and the verb popped up. I loved the look so we went with it. The whole place was amazing. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The nostalgic smell it had took me straight to the 90s lol. Every room has a record player to rock out to, the rooms were awesome, the bed were super comfy. The pool area was so chill. This will be my spot to stay at for now on.

Came for a bachelor party and the staff respected the situation. We had a great time. I would highly recommend the verb next time you're in Boston. Plus you cannot go wrong with vinyl record players in all the rooms. 5 stars all around.

The customer service personal were friendly and very attentive. The parking attendants for Valet were very nice with a little bit of friendly sass (which we loved). The rooms were decorated with pictures of famous records or famous singers. The room had a record player with four records to choose from, which was very unique! The sign for the ice was "ice ice baby", the extra roll of toilet paper said ""rock (extra) roll, showing this place is clever and witty! The breakfast selection was pretty good, the only thing was there wasn't an option for protein. Overall, we had a wonderful night stay and will absolutely go back in the future!

Super cool place that should appeal to anyone who enjoys Rock n’ Roll History, loud music, sipping drinks by the pool and eating great Sushi. Located right behind Fenway Park, it’s ideal for baseball fans. If you are in General a demanding, nitpicking, pain in the ass the place is definitely too cool for you.

It was nice to be right in the middle of Fenway area, the rooms were small but comfortable and it was really need having a record player and a record collection to choose from! Employees were super friendly and the food was good although I wish it has been made clear to me that there was no room service ahead of time. It wasn't that much of a hassle to walk down to the bar to pick up the food though.

Kind staff and clean. I truly did enjoy the hotel and the design of it. The beds where a little stiff and in the morning I did not enjoy hearing the landscapers blowing the leaf blower. I would definitely stay here again without a doubt.

The whole place was pretty dope. I loved the theme and decor. The staff was excellent. The neighborhood was awesome. And we had a room with a view of the pool AND the ballpark.

Very cool vibes at the verb. Right next door to fenway. So if you don't like noisy pick elsewhere. My rooms peephole was blacked out which I found odd. The vent in the bathroom did not work which made it steamy. Everything else was super cool. Selection of records near the lobby if your into that kind of thing. I was pleased with the preselected records already in my room. Someone has good taste! I would recommend this place just for the uniqueness.

Perfect location by Fenway and House of Blues. A bit campy, but the music theme is pretty fun. I love the vinyl library you can borrow from for the record player in your room. Not really a four star hotel when it comes to the rooms, but the location and vibe of the place makes it a great place to have a good time for a night or two. Oh, and it has a pool! Be warned: it can be kind of a maze trying to find your room.

The Verb is by far the only place to stay for music lovers and Boston lovers alike! The staff is phenomenal! Centrally located on Boylston Ave. Across from Fenway Park, minutes from Back Bay and the House of Blues. You may see a rock star or two. You can spin vinyl in your room or hit the heated pool. No matter what you're doing in Boston this is the place! Great vibe, great staff, great location. The trifecta!

Right in the heart of baseball. This hotel offered a more unique experience then I'd expect for the price. You get to borrow records to play on a record player in the room. Best part is bar and food and Fenway all within a 100 yards of the hotel front door. Anytime I got to Boston this is where I will be staying.

Active fun atmosphere. Great sake bar on site. The rooms were perfectly appointed. We absolutely loved the record player in the room!

The whole edgy vibe, nailed It! Loved the whole feel and look. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. The attached restaurant was a wonderful extension of the hotel. My only complaints, the heating and cooling system is loud and ineffective. The bed was wicked uncomfortable. Would definitely recommend!

I have been to 36 states and this hands down is one of the best hotels I've ever been to! Wonderful rates and if you are looking for a unique experience — this is it! The rooms are all music themed, with record players in them. My husband and I came here on Christmas, and the staff made us feel so welcome. They all went out of their way to help us find open restaurants and were so friendly. I highly recommend a stay here!

Perfectly fine hotel. The theme was kind of cool, but not totally our thing, so we could take it or leave it. Decent breakfast in the morning. No outlet in the bathroom was tough. And kind of crappy lighting in the room, so some difficulty getting ready for our event. And the heating system is definitely annoying. Not only is it not that warm, but it's so incredibly loud that when it switches on and off all night, it wakes you up. It was just one night though, and a short walk to our event at Fenway, so overall, it was fine.

Loved this place! Such a fun themed hotel. Very cool to be able to select records and play them in your room. Very great location and great service. Stayed here when I was running a Spartan race at Fenway park and the hotel offered an awesome view of the stadium to be able to watch others compete.

At night very loud sound from Fenway Park. The breakfast is kept relatively simple and is very sweet. Nevertheless a relaxed, nice atmosphere and nice staff.

The Verb Hotel was a delightful surprise! Close to Fenway and entertaining. The employees were exceptionally helpful and courteous! The decor is a refreshing blast into our past. The room was very clean and the record player and records were FUN!

A cute hotel right in the middle of action. I loved the colours and decor. Very "Instagram worthy" — also cool to note it was formerly a cheap motel turned funky. As tourists we enjoyed this spot.

Reasonable price, good location and a totally unique vibe make The Verb a jewel in the crown for a Boston adventure. Only downsides are separate parking fee ~$50/day and no elevator. All in all, if you have a pet, you can't top The Verb.

Hojoko is amazing. Inventive dinner and drinks. Always a really fun, relaxed atmosphere, very laid back. However, it seems they have started focusing more on being a tourist friendly hotel restaurant and changed their menu around. This is a bit disappointing, as they seem to have stopped innovating.

I stayed at the Verb last winter and it was great. The room decor is cool and it feels like a fun experience compared to the typical hotel set up. The shower had good temp and pressure and the staff was friendly. The sushi bar in the hotel had some great Sake and a good vibe too.

The price was perfect, it was clean and convenient, and the record player in the room was a great added touch! The Japanese restaurant that was attached was also a blast and had great food and drinks! Would absolutely stay here again when we return to Boston!

The best hotel where I have stayed!

Great Hotel! Me and my girlfriends stayed there last weekend for the ZBB concert and highly recommend it. The staff was great and the rooms and layout of the hotel was good. The only thing I would complain about was the shower had no door so the water leaked all over the floor and the lighting wasn't very good to get ready. Other than that I highly recommend it.

Awesome place. Very nice and clean rooms. If you like classic rock then you'll love this place. It's like the Hard Rock but more laid back.

Quirky and fun hotel. Overall, I've enjoyed my stay. The location is nice and the room is fairly large. I think they shaved corners a bit with the mattress… not the most comfortable, but not terrible either. The internet is a little flaky for streaming services. Overall it is still a great option.

I reserved a room at the Verb hotel for $400/night, which I thought was very expensive, but they are close to Fenway. Two days before my trip to Boston, I could not find an email confirmation from them, so I called the front desk to make sure I had a room. They told me I did not have a room and sorry they were fully booked, so I had to quickly reserve a room at another hotel for over $300 per night. Well, they ended up charging my credit card anyway for $400 — making my one night stay in Boston incredibly expensive… do not give them your credit card. Beware.

Cool, hip hotel. Went for some poolside drinks during an event and I l was impressed by the drink selection and prices. The Verb Hotel is retro sheik, relatively inexpensive for the area, and a fun place to hang out near Fenway.

Located in the center of the city with many options in restaurants and bars. Like this on the side of Fenway Park, there is always a good atmosphere around the hotel.

A little expensive, but steps away from Fenway Park. Great place for short stay to go see the Redsox.

Went to Hojoko for dinner. Great atmosphere with the outdoor patio and decorations inside. Plenty of space, even on a game night (albeit a weeknight, a Tuesday). Drinks and food were delicious. Lots of flavor and great presentation all around. For food, we got a sushi roll with fresh crab, the spicy salmon roll, the roasted cucumber, the pork dumplings, and the fries. For drinks, Mai Tai, Pina Colada (with toasted marshmallow), and the Sour. Would order them again, and look forward to trying more great flavors in the future.

Got there late around 8. The hotel is really interesting and has a good fun feel to it and not the typical hotel look. The room was easy to find and the workers all extremely friendly. The reason we rate it 3 stars is because of the room. The bathroom is really modern and no problems with it but the real problem was the smell. It smelled like smoke (marijuana) and the hall smelled funny. Also the bed was too hard for my liking. I recommend going and if you go to eat, eat at Tony C´s They had great food and a huge bar. Stayed there to go to a game at Fenway. Awesome location. The rooms were nice, a little loud but we expected that. The only things that I would change are the pillows, too soft and lumpy, and the shower looked cool but the water wasn't warm enough.

Hojoko is a fun place with a great poolside atmosphere in nice weather. Good food, pretty good drinks, and friendly staff. The only downside is that prices add up quickly. In a place where drinking and snacking is encouraged, it's hard to snack much. It's clear that the food is interesting and cared for, but, for example, I've gotten more for my money as far as rolls go at other places.

The verb hotel was fabulous! From the beautiful decor to the hospitable staff we couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the night. It was located right near house of blues where my girlfriend and I went to a show and had a great Japanese restaurant right next door. I would recommend anyone to stay here especially in the summer because they have a sweet pool!

The Verb has great location, clean and spacious rooms, and comfortable beds. The lobby has a great scent, although a bit on the heavy side. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would visit again.

Staff was not pleasant. Told that we were paying in cash and used a debit card for incidentals and the charges were still applied to the card so spending cash was severely cut due to this. The money wasn't "pending" or just placed on hold. The money actually came out. Large ordeal with that situation. 35$ a night valet is a little ridiculous since you're already paying to stay there and public parking isn't readily available for cheaper. The lotion and soap smell nice though… Either way will be trying harder to get reservations at The Buckminster next time. Would only recommend The Verb to hipster enemies who like paying a lot to see vintage music garbage with a Saki bar attached… Not sure how that fit the theme.

A fun retro vibe with amazing staff. Each evening we were greeted at the front desk by a woman named Molly who always was cheery and amazingly helpful. The rooms were nice and the TV's in them were very nice and very big. Everything was easy and there's a lot to do nearby. Its in the middle of a ton of stores within 5-15 minutes walk. Amazing hotel and I will for sure stay here again if I come to Boston again!

Great location and really cool vibe. However, I must say the staff, although very friendly, managed to mess up my reservations and charges even after several calls and coming in person days before my stay began. I had several family members coming in to stay at the hotel and they truly enjoyed their stay. If you're a baseball fan, then you can't beat this location. Literally steps from Fenway Park.

Stayed in a single king accessible room. The whole hotel has a rock and roll vibe which is cool. Rooms were clean and modern looking. Interesting bathroom where the shower us just… There. No tub no curtain, water just drains in the floor of the bathroom. Parking is either on the street or you have to pay for valet. No breakfast included. Check in and out was a breeze, very quick.

I stayed in room 133 and this place is amazing! Reminds me of the Jupiter Hotel in Portland OR. Great spot for younger partying types of the hipster persuasion.

Overall, it's a good hotel. Location is great and front desk is helpful. The attached Japanese place looked underwhelming and the rock and roll theme could stand to be a little less kitschy, although the records in front were cool. I summation, the in-room amenities were great, as was the general quality of the room. They just need a better (and more on-theme, like burgers) attached restaurant. I would stay here again.

Great looking room, very modern. The guy who works the front desk at night is the best. Ask him if you need a place to eat or something to do. Plus he plays awesome sax music! Loved the aesthetic and service of the place, can't wait to stay here again.

Funky and fun. Friendly staff. Nice rooms, super comfortable beds, clean, in room Kuerig and coffee, safe, fridge. Good location, only 15 minute walk to B. U.

Great vibe! Thin walls. Door didn't shut all the way so had to slam it. But all the cool retro details of the place made up for some of the flaws.

Best stay. Incredibly affordable especially during cons. Calvin is the shit.

Great hotel! Fun atmosphere, very friendly staff, clean and tidy rooms, and a great location in the Fenway. My favorite part was jamming on the stratocaster guitar in the lobby.

We were here for New Year's eve and New Year's day. First the pluses. Great location and close to everything. The room was spotlessly clean and inviting with vibrant colours on the windows and walls and interesting artwork. The toiletries were also very pleasant. The staff was friendly and very warm. I especially loved the vintage (but working) typewriter in the room. I could get it to type, even though the ink was faint. I had a really fun time imagining the horrors of perhaps writing a dissertation on the thing. The downside is that you could definitely do better in Boston for a similar price. It's not exactly inexpensive. The room was pretty chilly at night and we just couldn't get warm enough. The shower was kind of lukewarm in the morning and the water pressure on the showerhead was not spectacular. There was no coffee maker or tea kettle in the room — and these are basic essentials that every hotel at this price range provides. The "breakfast" had no hot water either and was very coffee oriented. They did provide hot water for tea on request. Anyway, don't expect to have a proper breakfast here. You are better off avoiding the super dry muffins and scones. Overall, an okay experience. Could be great in the summer. However, the borderline chilly room and the lack of warmth of the shower makes me hesitant to recommend this place for the winter.

Awesome place to rest for a day or a week. Staff is great. Renovations are awesome. View of the pool or stadium. Great prices and great decor. Zebra robes, next to CVS, liquor store, and the beer works. Love the mini fridge, 50" screen and complementary bottled water. I'll be back and so will my friends.

Where else can you jam on the owner's Strat in the lobby and browse through a collection of classic rock LPs? Great staff, fantastic location (Fenway, the MFA), clean and bright rooms.
