Excellent service and attention.

Not a single person at this hotel has an ounce of customer service. The manager is probably the worst. You are aware you have a huge volleyball tournament this weekend and refused to add additional shuttles. The manager actually got on the shuttle and yelled at people. No one around at the front desk ever. One person running the cafe/Starbucks. I was blown away of the lack of customer service. Not to mention $19.00 a night to park, no continental breakfast — actually $17.95 to serve yourself fruit and coffee. The whole experience was terrible! Do yourself a favor and pick a different hotel!

Well, small but tucked away in the Backbay. Clean but sets under the air space of Boston Logan airport.
Planes up, Planes down. All day and looks like all night. Staff is exceptional at Front desk, little café and bar.

We had the best experience. We were picked up from the airport promptly. Manny, Manuel and Fred were the BEST drivers. The hotel was super clean and the front desk was helpful and kind. The trail behind the hotel was perfect for running. The location was close to the T. Overall, we give them 5 stars!

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was awesome from before we checked in through when we left. Very friendly and accommodating. We even were offered extra cookies! There is nothing around the hotel which we read about before we got there so we were prepared for that. Overall great stay!

Great room at a great price. And AMAZING customer service! We called for a shuttle to get us to the hotel but it was going to be a 45+ minute wait. (It was 5 p. M. On a Friday. In Boston. ) No worries. We took a cab. However, Roger and Markus were very apologetic since the shuttle was not available when we requested it. Upon arrival we were given freshly baked cookies (yum! ) and Roger comped our breakfast — to help offset the cost of the cab! I will DEFINITELY be staying there again! Thanks Roger and Markus for making a GREAT first impression!

Friendly and accommodating staff. The Cafe & Bar need to be ripped down and rebuilt. The owners have a potential gold mine just from the Cafe and Bar business but they don't know how to run the hotel. The parking lot is connected to the hotel in the back. Upon checking in, the hotel charges you $17 a night for parking. This is Outrageous given the fact that the parking lot is part of the hotel. Free Parking should be part of the hotel stay. The rooms do not have refrigerators. The coffee maker in the room needs to be updated. These minor amenities go a long way in taking care of your guests but again, the owners are clueless. Overall, if you don't care about the things listed herein, and you don't care about paying over $600 for a 2 night stay, with 2-Star Hotel amenities, all the power to you, then book a room.

Socks! the best location but certainly worth the cost. Staff was way friendly and helpful. Shuttle takes you wherever you need to go w/in reason. Conveniently located near groceries, liquor and subway. I'll stay here again. No pool.

Room was nice, service was good. I gave 4 stars because I had a long black hair on the bed when I pulled the sheet back. Also the A/C was not working when I got into the room but they did send the maintenance guy to fix it pretty quickly. The food in the food court was good as well. Major plus they serve Starbucks.

First off, the bartender here is FANTASTIC! David M. Is hilarious, very attentive, and just a fun bartender. He's a bight spot at this location for sure! Otherwise, the rest of the hotel is ok. I was disappointed that my booking resulted in a room with two full beds vs a king and I was simply told they overbooked and never tried to correct it later on during our stay. Additionally my bedside light never worked. I also was surprised that there was no coffee available (except for an additional $2.50), because Hilton doesn't offer breakfast, where it seems every other hotel does… The location isn't great, you're across from a grocery store, but that's it. Uber or drive anywhere else. The saving grace here was David!

It was a last minute booking. The rooms are wonderful. The bed are fantastic. The staff were very cordial and inviting. The only thing was that they automatically charge you for parking. I believe that it was 20.00. On thw website that I was on. It said free. But other than that. It was a wonderful last minute stay.

Airport shuttle drivers very knowledgeable, friendly and dependable. Desk clerks warm & welcoming. We ate at the hotel since we were so tired & had the best deli sandwiches, hamburger & fries ever! Our first visit to Boston on our first trip to Israel & hope to return from our home in Texas, when more time allows us. Thank you!

Location of the hotel is okay; unfortunately, not particularly close to anything. Front desk staff were cordial. Loved the text for service during our stay. Marketplace cafe staff were friendly but messed up the order twice. Room is dated but overall functioning. The worst thing about the stay is the paper thin wall where we can hear every word of the neighbor's phone conversations.

The hotel was just basic. Nothing remarkable but not horrible. No real restaurant and a very small bar. When we asked for a new key card, the girl at the desk just gave us one without verifying we were the guests staying in that room. I will say that the shuttle drivers, particularly Sam and Miguel were awesome! Very positive, friendly and informative!

Had a great stay here for two nights while visiting Boston for a weekend. The hotel was very clean, staff was accommodating, and it isn't too far from the city. It's located right next to one of the subway stops, so it was a nice way to spend less for a hotel and still be able to go into the city of Boston easily.

The hotel is pretty nice, but if you ask me, the area kinda sucks. There's no food nearby that's easy to get to. You have to drive into town, and parking is a nightmare. There is a little cafe thing at the hotel that has sandwiches and stuff that are pretty good, but if you want to go out to dinner nearby it's a pain. Very nice hotel staff though. They were awesome.

I've stayed here several times in the past, and usually things are good. This time I had some issues. One morning there was no hot water in my room, I asked for a solution and they said they'd send someone. I said I have to leave in 30 minutes is there anything else that can be done in the meantime? They said no. They fixed my hot water eventually, but not after I didn't get a shower. Another time during the same stay there were several long black hairs very obviously sitting in my sink, so that was disappointing.

The staff was great! Very friendly. They let us check in early and handed us warm cookies and two bottles of Poland spring. We paid for parking with the room. The only good experience we had. 5 stars for their service for sure. Now let's get to cleanliness. Horrible. I was could give 0 stars. The sheet had stains and they looked like blood stains. Pretty disgusting. Went to the bathroom and the toilet seat had a pee stain on that. I always bring rubbing alcohol to spray around the bathroom, I ended up cleaning the toilet seat with that. Nasty. The sheets also had holes in it as well. They started cleaning the hallway at 730 am. The heater was so loud, I felt like a plane was ready to take off. I wouldn't really recommend this.

While the room itself was very nice, the sheets on the bed were only flat sheets. So upon lifting the sheet up, my boyfriend and I were able to see a stained mattress. In the morning, there was no hot water for either of us to take a shower. When my boyfriend talked to the front desk, they gave him two "complementary cookies" which contained nuts and I have a peanut allergy. They then offered free lunch, but we had plans to eat somewhere else. When we went to make coffee in the room, the creamer provided curdled when added to the coffee (because it contains milk and was left at room temperature). Staff was friendly, but I was hugely disappointed, especially with it being our first time to Boston.

My friend and I attended this hotel a few weeks past to visit colleges. May I say the sheets were very uncomfortable and service was absolutely terrible! They also mentioned we had a free breakfast but we got soggy eggs and fatty sausage for 30 dollars! We couldn't even find water! Now, this is the part that really brings my rating down all the way to 1 star. My friend needed a towel and we called room service over 3 times after waiting for an hour we lost hope and they never ended up coming. My overall experience at this hotel was unsatisfactory and I will for sure never attend this hotel again and neither should you.

Excellent service, nice and clean. My only complaint would be the hot water in the shower changing temperature every couple of minutes, going from comfortably warm to quite a bit hotter and back. Adjusting for this, the water would drop down to cool and need to be constantly adjusted to maintain a comfortable temperature.

Dropped off a rental car at the airport and used the shuttle to wait for my flight the next day. The shuttle times were slow on Friday night between waiting and traffic, Saturday morning they were very quick. Hotel was clean and the desk was helpful. No restaurant like I expected for a doubletree but they had a to-go cafe with some decent food. Breakfast is not free but was decent. Great views from the top floor corner suite toward Boston. Over all I'd stay there again.

Me and wife came on holiday to Boaton MA and traveled around Mass and stayed here it was great good location near to JFK/MASS station the staff at the hotel are very helpful and you get a nice cookie and bottle of water each when you arrive we loved are stay.

My husband and I arrived early after a red eye flight and were exhausted. Shayla got us a room as soon as possible and we were very grateful. She took very good care of us. Great customer service!

Great staff. Shuttle service is difficult. Took 30 minutes to pick up at airport then took another 45 minutes as we went downtown and waited for another pickup before going to hotel. They can't tell you if the shuttle you sign up for to go to airport will make other stops first.

Good location. Good service from staff. Shuttle to/from airport, cruise terminal, and downtown was good, but times and frequency could have been better. Our room had a squeaky AC unit and toilet that wanted to run frequently. I fixed the toilet and ignored the AC noise.

Very nice hotel for good price. Close to subway within walking distance, so easy access to Boston via subway. Very friendly staff, good beds, not the best but not the worst — you get what you pay for. But the rooms were very clean and maintained. Would stay here again, especially because of easy access to subway…

We booked this property because of the reasonable price. Boston hotels closer to the port and downtown we're way too expensive. You're not in Boston to enjoy an all inclusive holiday people. You're there to discover Boston! The shuttle round trip to Airport was perfect! The hotel staff we're always pleasant and very helpful! You can text the hotel with questions, shuttle etc and they answer within minutes. I loved this! They may not have a pool but if you want a pool go somewhere else! Yes no free breakfast but it is clear when you book! Starbucks was there. Good coffee and a bagel and your good to go if you dont want to spend alot of $ on buffet. Its a 5 min walk to subway. You dont want to drive as traffic and parking is crazy there. Subway is easy, quick and will get you anywhere in no time. So don't spend major bucks to be downtown or by the port. You still have to get to other spots if you want to see Boston. And best and cheapest way is subway. Hotel was very clean. I would go back here. Thank you for a great stay Doubletree Bayside.

Lovely Hotel, with friendily helpful staff. The room is nice and the beds are comfortable. Their is an excellent shower and a hairdryer if needed. The hotel is a short walk from the underground which is ideal to get where needed. We had a really nice stay at this hotel.

It was a very nice hotel. Metro nearby 200m. Warm welcome. Hearty breakfast.

The service was absolutely incredible here. They graciously switched out our room when it seemed someone had been previously smoking in our smoke-free room, and the warm cookies were delectable (they let me have like 4 of them). Overall a fantastic experience.

Every day you go down into the lobby, you're greeted with fresh water. The receptionists are helpful and nice. There is also a shuttle that you may take to and from the airport. On weekends, they can take you to Quincy Market if you like. The service of my stay was great.

In itself not a bad hotel, but unfortunately squeak the very hard beds and the air conditioning is very noisy. For this you can hear the conversations in the hallway through the closed door without any problems with the Air-conditioner.

Lots towels in bathroom. Driver Miguel very helpful. To get the free transport service for hotel you have to telephone the hotel. Before you exit by the information desk there is a big touch screen which you can search for hotel and call free of charge to let them know you have arrived and tell them what terminal you are at.

Super skimpy on the coffee, breakfast was old and cold. Horrible for 16$ but hey you have activia yogurt and a few bananas, I will say the lady serving the food was completely a pleasure to deal with, she was kind and funny. Probably the best part of the hotel.

Horrible experience. The shuttles were late to pick us up from the convention center by minimum 45 min each day. The bathroom door never locked. When we got into the room the lamp in between the beds didn't work. There was no free breakfast like we were promised and like was advertised. Also we paid for cookies in a jar that we never received, when we asked about it we were told to come down to the lobby and they would give us one more cookie. One cookie doesn't equate to a jar of cookies, take a math class. The television also never had a steady picture. Stay away from this hotel and go to one that actually cares about it's guests.

Good hotel for professional appointment, not very central breakfast very summary.

Stayed at the Doubletree by Hilton for a single night on arriving in Boston for a Holiday. Whilst the hotel itself is a little tired the room was clean, a great size and had all you could want. My only issue would be the amount of noise the air-condition unit made when it was running, not an issue as I can sleep through most things. Outside of this, great for a quick stop.

It's a good hotel, in a nice neighborhood. The bed was comfortable, the food was good, and the service was friendly. They also offer free Wi-Fi. Breakfast was expensive though, and the gift shop didn't have much of a selection.

Recently spent 4 nights at the DoubleTree Bayside… Clean, quiet, cookies — — what's not to like? I do want to mention the staff, especially one of the managers, Amelia. Friendly, professional, and she saw to all our needs. In fact, the entire crew at the hotel were exceptionally knowledgeable and accommodating. I also want to congratulate Hilton for their excellent diversity — — front desk, cleaning staff, van drivers — — what a pleasure. Coming from the Midwest, I felt as if I had a mini vacation in Europe. Keep up the great work in hiring staff that speak to what America is all about!

Was in Boston for work, company booked me a room at the Doubletree Bayside. Was a good stay, loved the pillows. Only catch is the airport shuttle service ends after midnight so we had to catch a cab. I would definitely recommend them if you're visiting Boston.

Not quite the full typical Doubletree experience, as this is a Doubletree Club. Television a little on the small size. Room ceilings are a little low. On the plus size, clean and large rooms.

Great hotel, the only dirty thing at the entrance.

The price is equal to the quality. I love the style and the view of the city is wonderful. Its very quiet and the cleanliness of the hotel is obvious top priority. The only thing that is keeping the Sofia from a 5star raring is the room service.

Items that were listed as complimentary were not and they were not indicated by the staff, Wi-Fi and breakfast specifically. The Marketplace was fantastic, better food then the pricey hot breakfast served buffet style. Marketplace employees were delightful and quick. The prices and quality of food in the Marketplace are the added stars. The rooms are clean and stay clean during your stay.

Friendly staff at this nice, bright, clean hotel. Not within walking distance of downtown, but neat public transit or short ride. Hourly shuttle to various destinations.

The hotel is contemporary and everything is kept clean. It is conveniently located within a 5 minute walk to the train station. There is a shuttle service available. Complimentary hot chocolate and lemonade everyday at the front desk. There is parking available but at the cost of $12 a day. The same with the Wi-Fi, it is available but you have to pay extra for it. Seems a bit redundant for me to have to pay for Wi-Fi in 2016. Housekeeping staff was on point and had our room spotless everyday. They even placed a ring on the TV stand that we had misplaced on the bed. This would've been a 5star review but we had one problem with our stay. Our door wouldn't latch locked when closed. We called the front desk to inform them about the problem on the first day heading out and they sent someone to take care of the problem while we were away. Upon our return we found the door still didn't latch because the latch would stay jammed in. They said someone was sent up earlier but they would resend them to take a look at the issue. Maintenance came up and sprayed some oil on the latch but it still wasn't working correctly. He informed us "tommorrow" someone else would replace the whole latching mechanism. Tomorrow came and the door was still not locking correctly. Upon our return on the 3rd day we came and found our door unlatched and basically being able to be pushed open by anyone without even moving the handle. Our valuables were locked so nothing was stolen.

We loved it! Clean comfortable & modern. Only thing I would say with a negative slant is that our room was near the fitness room so early am, 5:30 to 6:30 you could hear people in there making me feel guilty for not doing so myself. I was ok with it, my daughters & wife not so much. Really nice breakfast area with Starbucks and yummy food. Staff was very kind & helpful. We will return and would stay here again without a doubt.

Great location, friendly service, rooms are modern and clean. Only issue I had was with parking. Nowadays I can't believe hotels charge their customers for parking. At 12 dollars a night it's just ridiculous to me.

I am a flight attendant, so I stay in my fair share of hotels. The hotel itself is okay, if you don't mind your TV and air conditioning not working… but my biggest issue is with the shuttle service. I booked ahead two separate nights, three days apart. Both times, I waited over 50 minutes for the shuttle. I even called as I walked off the aircraft to give them plenty of time… and I still sat around watching every other hotel shuttle pass by 5 or 6 times. On top of that, the shuttle only leaves the hotel once an hour, at the top of the hour, which is very inconvenient for airport travelers. Everyone at the hotel is polite, but I won't be using then again.

Very nice large rooms at a reasonable price. It is a bit outside of Boston but in a few minutes with the subway in the city.

Rooms clean and staff helpful, but the fast service "restaurant" has short hours and a very limited menu. OK for coffee and bagels or simple salad but not much more. Short walk to red line T station. No close restaurants so plan on a taxi or using the T.

Best stay I have had, Best staff Mohamed, Mustapha, Niva very helpful and accomodating. Good food downstairs at the cafe and David the bartender was great. Reccomend this Hotel highly.

Best room, best service, and very clean.

Having read previous reviews before my visit I was slightly apprehensive about staying, but these worries were laid to rest as soon as we arrived. We were promptly picked up from the airport with the hotels free airport shuttle service and given cookies upon our arrival. So this was a good start and we found the room to be of a good standard. I think it had recently been renovated. The bed was huge, you could fit 4 people in those things, not that we tried. The bathroom was also nice and modern, however the bath was clearly built for very very small people. This seems to be quite a common occurrence in US hotels. The location was also good. We were close to the tram station but it is clear that this hotel is more suited for business travellers. There is little around the hotel itself apart from a big convention center so you really need to get on the subway and go into the city. This was easy enough though and very cheap. So if you are looking for something romantic then this is probably not for you. If however, you want something for a good price that is both convenient and maintained to a good standard then this could be for you.

This is a very good hotel. It is in a good location, close to Highway. I slept a nights and my room had view to the channel, it was very romantic however the room was very small but it was very clean. There is a nice terrace on the roof with a very nice panoramic however I wouldn't eat hot dog in the patio because they are very expensive! Let's see-$8 us for a hot dog, they are sick.

My experience at Double Tree Club by Hilton Hotel Boston Bayside, was very convenient. Most people come on here to rant about rare complaints. Biggest pros were the location to the neraby T stop (Red Line — JFK/UMass) and the shuttle service to and from the airport and a few other locations. Small deli downstairs for breakfast etc. Front desk was very helpful with suggestions and directions. I would def. Book my next trip with the Double Tree my next trip to Boston.

I am a guest at Hilton brand hotels at least one week every month for business related travel. I have never had an incident where an item was missing from my room. Unfortunately, during my stay the Doubletree Boston Bayside located at 240 Mount Vernon Street, Boston, Massachusetts an expensive item went missing from my room. I stayed at the Doubletree Boston Bayside from January 27th through January 31st of this year. On the morning of January 29th, I left my mouth guard in a paper cup on the dresser in my hotel room. That evening, to my dismay, I discovered the cup was missing. I immediately went to the front desk to discuss the issue. The persons at the front desk acknowledged the issue and mentioned that the house keepers had thrown out things such as holy water in the past. The front desk person told me the house keepers were instructed not to throw out cups. Unfortunately, the house keeper who cleaned my room did not follow the Doubletree Boston Bayside policy. I explained that my mouth guard was a custom fit dental piece and was very expensive. The front desk person purchased me a temporary mouth guard for the evening. The following day, I called my dentist, and learned the mouth guard cost $655 to replace. That evening I filled out a claim form for the mouth guard with Doubletree’s insurer, Sedgwick. Eventually, after a few weeks passed, I was contacted by Sedgwick. We exchanged voice mails a number of times. We discussed the incident.

I wouldn't stay here again. First off the area isn't the best. Only plus is the T is walking distance. Other than that there is pretty much nothing in walking distance. Asked the front desk for restaurant suggestions and they pretty much had non other than the little cafe in the hotel. The food in this cafe is pretty sub-par. The walls here are paper thin and you can hear everything in adjoining rooms. After staying in a few different Hilton and DoubleTree hotels this doesn't live up to the standard.
