Proximity to the beach is what this Inn has going for it. While other reviews indicate upgrades are in the process I assure you our room hasn't seen any. The room was tired and dated with several items only partially functioning. (Porch door wouldn't close, kitchen chairs practically collapsed under adult weight). Good place for a night if you're not planning on being in the room for any duration. Also beware the Inn doesn't appear to be staffed after 10. Our room lost power and it took an hour for someone to show up after a dozen calls went unanswered. The owner seemed unfazed by the inconvenience caused while we tried changing out of formal wear in total darkness.
I stayed one night booking the day before and was pleasantly surprised to get a large "junior suite" of about 220 SF with a queen bed, balcony, kitchenette, full size fridge and more. All in prime August vacation season walking distance to short sands beach for under $200
