John and Jeanette are incredible innkeepers and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The home is beautiful with well appointed and comfy rooms. The breakfasts are so lovely, delicious and unique and Jeanette also makes baked goods every afternoon for guests to enjoy. John cannot so enough for guests and is engaging, witty and very informative. We will definitely be back!

The owners of this property take their BnB seriously. Everything is on point. Breakfast is amazing every day. Fresh ground coffee every morning. Rooms are wonderful. Great recommendations. Great stories. I would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat. We will definitely come back.

This was my first time here at the Holidae House and I can easily say that I will only be staying here the next time I visit Bethel, Maine. The service was exceptional, the breakfast delicious, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Please, make this the place to go when you plan a trip to Maine.

From the first conversation with John on the phone to the arrival at the bed-and-breakfast it was a pleasure. The room was quaint, clean and comfortable. The owner John went well out of his way to let us know everything that was there and made sure we had his personal phone number to call it any time there was a problem. The breakfast was exceptional. My wife even asked for the recipe which She received from his wife. I recommend this B and B highly.

Great B&B. Very welcoming and excellent breakfast. Bathrooms are a little small but it still gets the 5 stars considering the whole experience.

The owners, John and Jeanette, couldn't have been more hospitable. They really take pride in what they do. The room was cozy, the common areas welcoming, and the food was out of this world! I will definitely be staying here again!

This place was GREAT! John and Jeanette welcomed us and our daughter SO warmly. My husband hadn't ever been to a B&B before, so this was a special treat for him. He thought it was absolutely amazing — and he's not wrong! The owners are super nice, the premises are gorgeous and convenient to every part of Bethel, and the breakfast was delicious (and the coffee. YUM! ). The owners even took special time to chat with my gregarious 3 year old about her favorite thing in the world — Star Wars. She even wanted photos of them. All in all, this was absolutely the perfect place to stay! I cannot possibly recommend anywhere *more* than this place. 6 stars out of 5!

My boyfriend took me to Holidae House this past January for my 30th birthday and it was PERFECT! I could never have hoped for anything better. Jeanette and John were such amazing hosts. They were kind, lovely, friendly, incredibly accommodating and lots of fun to hang out with. Jeannette is also a terrific and generous chef and John is the nicest guy ever! The entire place was gorgeous and so comfortable, and all of the decor was beautiful and welcoming. It was so charming to stay right in the middle of the little village and there were so many great outdoor activities incredibly nearby — — our favorites were cross country skiing and snowmobiling. Made all the more fun by being to go back to the Holidae House to warm up! It was freezing outside and our room was always nice and cozy. I simply adored it. The amenities as well were so thoughtful — — movies, a sound machine, baked goods. Everything we could have wished for and so much more. I HIGHLY recommend staying here and look forward to returning! Thank you both for such a perfect stay.

My absolutely favourite place during our three week trek around Maine. Wonderful location, beautiful laid-back town and two of the nicest, most welcoming hosts you could meet. The rooms are filled with lovely touches, the breakfasts are delicious and top class and the extras in terms of treats and refreshments were a real surprise and became the icing on the cake. I would not only recommend it, I would happily move in!

It was a great bed and breakfast just a few minutes from the slopes of Sunday River! The Inn keepers Lawrence and his wife cooked excellent breakfasts for the guests. They provided afternoon teas and even baked some cookies and breakfast cakes. The Holidae House was a great stay in historic Bethel.

I stayed here over the weekend while I was skiing at Sunday River. This is a wonder place! Rooms are cozy, showers hot and breakfast is just amazing. I would highly recommend this place!
