Decent enough. Good location to i95 and i295. Near malls and many local restaurants. Place was clean and staff friendly. A lot of late night activity. People in halls entering and exiting building all hours which gives it a bit of a sketch vibe.

Amazing and friendly staff who are always happy too see you! the rooms were clean the pool was warm and clean too… and the restaurant right in front had vegan options!

The cheapest we could find, it served its purpose well. My family spent the Memorial Day weekend here. It is about 15 minutes away from the city, and it would be advisable to stay here if you have a car. We checked in at a little over 3PM, some of the details of our reservation were missing. We were staying as a family of 5, when we got to our room, we were missing the extra bed and towels, but a simple phone call to the front desk easily fixed that. They offered a free complimentary continental breakfast from 6AM — 10AM which was a welcomed plus. There is also a pool, a gym, and free Wi-Fi. Very convenient location if you have a car. Cheaper than staying in the city. Close to the airport.

We traveled overnight from Pennsylvania. Thanks to Sarah, front desk staff and housekeeping, we were able to get into a room early enough to get ready for a memorial service. We are all extremely grateful for helping us out. This hotel wasn't expensive, it was clean and had what we needed. If you are looking for a fair price and a place to sleep, this is a good choice.

Great service, the pool was small but water was really warm. The room were clean and comfortable. Totally worth it for the price. The staff was very friendly.

Pretty standard room, good for the price around Portland. Hot water in the shower lasts foreeeeever. Breakfast could definitely use some improvement. It's listed to last until 10am, but when I arrived at 9:15, a woman was already breaking down the breakfast table and cleaning up. There was oatmeal left though, so I guess that was nice.

Beds were hard. I think they need to do some updates. They no longer offer a medical discount. Breakfast room had a good variety to choose from.

Nice rooms, pleasant staff. Cost was very reasonable compared to its distance from downtown Portland. Will definitelt stay there again!

Staff was very friendly. We had a very clean and quiet room. King bed was very comfortable, couldn't hear other people in the morning taking showers at 5 AM. Breakfast had a variety of foods available. I would definitely stay here again. It wasn't high end but clean and exceptional for what you were paying for. Very pleasant experience.

The old saying, "you get what you pay for", stands so true here. In full disclosure, there were at least 4 travel basketball teams staying here from 1 town, among other groups that I was not familiar with. There wasn't a "conference room" available for the many parents that requested a room for pizza parties that supposedly existed when we all booked. (look at the pictures) Of the 4 or 5 past years of playing in travel tournaments, the parents would hang out in the halls and converse with an adult beverage in hand, concealed of course. Here, it was you had to be in your room by 9 like it was a kids camp. Once again, no where for the parents to go and relax. Most places have somewhat of a lobby that accommodates that sort of situation. I'm not in the business, but if you have so many teams, translate that into $$$$, coming at this time of year, why would you not try to put everyone into one part of the hotel for noise control? Yes, it was on St. Patricks Day weekend, but things never got out of hand. Yes, if you need a place to go for a dull, quick stop that's a little old, run down, dank, this is your place. Just make sure they aren't fully booked with some teams. Good luck.

Room decor nice. Smell in room, not sure what. Beds, very small to sleep 2 adults. And room size was small in comparison to other hotels.

Upon arrival, the night staff at the front desk didn't seem very friendly. I was told by the woman helping me that it looked like they were out of King rooms (even though I had reserved one…). She gave me a room key after about five minutes of silently staring at her computer screen. We were told to drive around the building to a different door. We did. We found our room pretty quickly, but after scanning the key, opened the door up to a room that had not been cleaned at all. Bed not made, towels on the floor, etc. No thanks. We tried to walk through the hall to get to the lobby and the hall that would take us there was boarded up due to construction and renovation. In fact, most of the halls had no carpets because of this. We had to take the stairs up and around. We got back to the front desk and told her what happened. She quietly apologized and told her that was the last King room and we would have to "upgrade" to two double beds… which is not what we wanted at all. We booked a KING! Then she told us we could upgrade to business class for a little bit more. Why should we have to pay extra for their mistake?!?! I agreed because, at that point, I just wanted to get into a room. We finally get to our room and it was pretty nice. The bed was comfortable and all seemed fine until morning… when we discovered (once already in the shower, mind you) that they had forgotten to supply us with shampoo, and the mouthwash on the counter was opened already!

The staff was very helpful. Rooms were very clean, linen was fresh and clean. Breakfast was great, and the heated indoor pool hit the spot. On top of all of this, the price was only around $60. Will be returning.

It was nice. They have an indoor pool which is cool during the winter, definitely wasn't expecting that. The room was nice and beds were comfortable, although maybe a bit too stiff. Almost just solid, actually. Otherwise it was a good experience.

The price is unbeatable and the staff is helpful. The breakfast buffet has a very good selection. Located right by Maine mall.

This property was alright for the price. We paid $89.00 for a room with a king bed, microwave, and mini fridge. The room had one easy chair and a small bathroom, a smaller vanity, and a small desk. The hallways could use a paint job and new carpet. The complimentary breakfast was better than many. It had eggs, ham, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, cereals, juices, milk varieties, fresh fruit, and coffee. The front desk staff was very nice, friendly, and polite on all shifts.

Once they're done with renovations, it will probably be a great place in a convenient location. Right now, it's a mess. Construction continued until past 6pm, which isn't a HUGE deal unless you're looking for quiet. We smelled sawdust and paint. Breakfast was moved upstairs (there is an elevator). The chairs looked really stained and old. Breakfast was decent, I guess. I tend to pack protein bars since I have Celiac but gave their 'omelette' a shot. Very dry and not very good. Again, they're renovating but I'd try hard to not stay here again until they're finished.

The breakfast was really good. The pool was really tiny and your eyes burned from all the chlorine in the air. Found a cockroach within five minutes of arriving into my room. The staff was very nice. The sink was not in the bathroom which was very odd. Walls are thin so you can hear everything. The shower was nice but it has trouble draining the water. Tub is too small for a bath. My experience here was okay but it was not worth the price and I will not be staying here again.

The room, a King room, was clean, well appointed and quiet. The hotel itself was in a very convenient location for our travels. The breakfast was good. Last, the price was reasonable. The staff was pleasant, hard working, and professional. This was our second overnight stop in this area but our first one at the Days Inn. This hotel was far better than the other area hotel we stopped at. I recommend the place.

The hotel is conveniently located. A hotel wing was renovated in October 2016. The rooms were clean and appealing. Breakfast is very "continental" — little choice. Price performance okay.

Room was not the worst, good for a night's rest after a Phish show. After the show we took a shower/bath and the tub is not big enough for 2 and she's 100 pounds max and I'm 150 so it's not that we are big people. The shower head was beat and barely functional but it worked and we were able to wash of the grime from dancing and the intense heat. Employee's were real nice but someone decided to vacuum the hallway around 8am and kept banging into my door so I got a wake up call, I didn't ask for. After careful inspection for anything I left behind I found an old peanut under the bed and a bunch of food and trash behind the TV bureau/stand thingy, with dust on them so it was definitely not ours FYI… if you put your door key card next to your cell phone, like in the same pocket. It will erase the card and will not open the door… Sooo there's that. It's a good choice for my budget and not terrible, I would probably stay there again if I was visiting Portland ME again.

The bed wasn't super comfortable, but you can't expect amazing at this price, so I was OK with it. Everything was clean which os what's most important to me. Breakfast was mediocre and packed with people. Wifi wasn't good enough to steam a movie, but it did work slowly enough for email and what not. Location is good, and a chili's across the street is a plus. Staff was friendly. Overall it's a decent budget stay — about what you would expect from a decent budget motel. Overal I recommend it for what it is, although the Wi-Fi was annoying, I feel like they could have done that better.

Nice, no frills Days Inn with good Wi-Fi and comfortable pillows. TV isn't HD and towels are plentiful but a bit rough. Breakfast is nice and the breakfast room is large. It's also right across the street from the mall. We've stayed here 3-4 times and keep coming back.

The days inn is a good price for the rooms you get. Its near the mall and easy to get to. It also has a chili's practically in the parking lot, which is great for late night snacks or if you plan on drinilkung since you can just walk across the parking lot and go to bed! Definately worth a stay!

We dropped off a friend with some physical disability for her overnight stay. The 2 women at the front desk were extremely helpful getting her settled, making tea, and arranging for airport transport for early the next morning. The room appeared clean and comfortable. The rate was very reasonable.

I've stayed at this hotel several times, and the service is excellent. Rooms are very clean, beds are superbly comfortable. Continental breakfast is very plentiful with several choices.

Very clean. Very friendly staff. Only dislike is was the amount of light in the room.

Friendly staff, but they seem to be stuck in a perpetual renovation. The pool is small and the floor was slippery, but it was nice to be able to swim in a Maine January.

Location is great. No problems. We'll stay here again.

For the price and location, you can't beat it. Clean rooms, free internet (it's fast, I'm on my computer a lot), pretty big flat screen TVs, and very quiet. Only drawback may be the parking. If you have a vehicle or a trailer that will take up more than one spot and it's a busy time of year, you may run into issues parking.
