This was my first but 100% not my last experience at the Ocean Walk Hotel. I was very impressed. TY for the great time 😎

Amazing is all I can say. Literally 50 foot steps to the beach. Very clean rooms, grounds. This will forever be our go to spot from now on. We even extended our stay an extra night. Also was pretty quiet during our stay. Everyone is so nice. Like I said, simply Amazing stay! Thank you.

I spent 3 vacations there loved it couldn’t travel anymore due to husbands illness I love the fact you open the door and the beach is right there awesome place.

Our family has been coming to Ocean Walk for over 20 years. We consider this our second home for one week a year. We are just steps away from a beautiful beach wonderful for walking, relaxing and boogie boarding. Don, his family and staff are always welcoming and helpful.

Had an awesome time at Ocean Walk! Clean room, very helpful staff, near all activities! Beach is literally steps away! Absolutely would go back.

We’ve been coming here every year for years. I mean since I was small and it wasn’t until this last year that the staff was incredibly rude to my entire family. (we didn’t recognize some of the staff this time but what they said to us and how they treated us knowing we have supported their business for years, they didn’t care. It was pretty shocking and hurtful. We come here to have a good time with family and it’s sad to say we won’t be coming here any longer.

So perfect for a family! Definitely would recommend! 5 stars!

This is not a 2 star hotel as advertised on Google. My family of 4 stayed here for 3 nights, 4 days. The hotel was very clean with a well stocked kitchenette area. This place is quiet located away from the OOB pier but close enough to easily enjoy all that OOB has to offer. The staff was incredably nice and helpful. I plan on staying here again next year.

Cute rooms right on the beach. Small kitchenette with full sized refrigerator, two burner stove, microwave, Keurig and toaster. Also dishes and silverware provided. Was quite happy with my stay and would definitely come back.

Repeaters every year and have no plans of changing that! The staff pays attention to detail! Location Location Location! Its far enough from the center to have quiet and minimal traffic! The rooms are clean and comfortable!

After staying at a few different hotels at Old Orchard over the years this was probably the most disappointing! Wishing I could give more than one star but I feel dirty after staying one night! It started at the indoor pool when we were overwhelmed with dirt, bugs and who knows what else was floating all around us. Next when we arrived in our room — I was shocked we paid the price we did for two beds that pull out of the wall and you end up waking up in pain from how uncomfortable they are! Besides the beds it was the cleanliness that got to me. The two face cloths I used in the shower for my son and I, had hair dried in them from the dryer and the towel I went to dry off with had yellow flakes that appeared to look like ear wax! At this point I was wishing we could check out and stay else where — to top it all off, we noticed a dead bug in the picture frame on the wall! I typically do not write reviews but since we were checking out and no one even asked how our stay was I figured this was the spot to save someone else and their children from the nightmare stay! Total waste of money!

Overpriced and outdated. Pull down bed that will fit two children not two adults. The view of the ocean is beautiful. : (

The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. Kitchenware (plates, cups, bowls, utensils, pots, & pans) is provided so you can cook on the stovetop. Beach chairs and sandcastle building materials are available for you to enjoy on the beach (direct access from the hotel). The hotel itself is a short drive from the pier. Overall it's a relaxing place to stay — would definitely recommend to others.

We have been coming here for the last 5 years the week before Memorial Day to celebrate our Anniversary. The staff is always very accomodating. We arrived a bit early today, and they got us into our room 2 hours before check in.

Pictures don’t do this place justice. Steps away a from one of the nicest beaches in ME and staying here is the best. Clean, honest, and so friendly. Been going here for over five years now and staying at this spot. Will always be one of my all time favorite vacation destinations.

This hotel is located directly on the beach, and all rooms are just steps away from the ocean. I paid a surprisingly low rate for my room which included a seating area, flatscreen TV, a convenient, full kitchen with stove, full sized fridge, microwave, Kuerig (with coffee pods, creamer, sugar), sink with sprayer, with a window above it to lighten the kitchen, and also dish detergent, dishes, silverware, glasses… nothing was left that I needed to bring other than food. The …bed was a Murphy bed, which surprised me and I was skeptical that it would be comfortable, but it was. The sheets were high quality, and though it had been a really warm day, the bed was cool and I slept very well with no disturbances or loud neighbors. In the morning, I stowed the Murphy bed back up with surprising ease and little effort. The floors are ceramic tile, which I think all hotels should consider. I was surprised at first because I’ve never seen it in a hotel room, but it made a lot of sense and was easy to keep clean. Front desk staff was wonderful and accommodating. Check in was easy and quick, and when I made my way over to purchase some cold, bottled water, they offered to just put it on my room so I didn’t have to fish through my wallet to pay. I saw a grill near my room that I presume was for guests since I saw a staff member wheeling it out minutes earlier. There is a huge indoor pool if it’s not beach weather. Not my kind of thing, but I think it’s worth mentioning.

Very clean and comfortable. Great view of ocean, easy access to beach and downtown. Would highly recommend. Definitely will be a repeat customer.

Best kept secret north of the pier. I am tempted to give a bad review to continue the secret. However, The simple truth is for the money This Is The BEST place for A BEACH GETAWAY!

This was our 3rd year in a row staying here and we love it! You can't beat the location on the beach! Our family rented 3 separate rooms and all were great! The ocean front suit is where we spent most of our time! The indoor pool is wonderful for a rainy day or to just let the kids swim. Thank you to the staff who are always wonderful and friendly!

It's all about the beach. I wouldn't want to be cooped up in these rooms with the kids on a rainy week. The price was really high for the room which was two fold up beds. There was no room with the beds down. The owners/managers were all extremely nice. Lots of other families for friendships to be created. A fun but pricey spot.

Nice rooms, oceanfront property, and close to everything. Nice indoor pool for a change of pace. Only downside was the Wi-Fi reception is terrible and cuts out every other minute.

Rooms very clean, quite, peaceful right on the beach. Staff wonderful take care of people needs right away. Beach so clean lots of beach chairs to use. We had such a great time we stayed a extra day. If we go on a vacation next year we will be back.

Simple and comfortable hotel. Mostly clean rooms, bathroom could use a deeper clean. Bed was older but doable. Helpful to have mini kitchen area for food and drinks. Best part is being steps away from the beach. Hotel has chairs available on beach. Staff was friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations. Easy 15-20 minute walk on the beach to the pier/downtown area.

The Murphy beds are a clever way to maximize the space in the room, while still providing enough beds for up to six guests (with the futon). The room has an okay view, but amazing location steps from the beach. Convenient location with easy access to Portland and ameneties. The rooms could use a little updating, especially the shower heads in the room and at the pool. We would stay again and recommend.

Myself and my wife with my two grandboys stayed in this hotel. Had the BEST time ever, rooms (studio) was great very clean and especially the workers they are the most active and polite workers I have encountered and I have stayed at various hotels and these workers are the tops. I would recemmend this place in a heart beat and am sure am coming back next year. Kudos to the staff great job. TV can be alittle bigger.

Proximity to the beach couldn't be better. The staff was very welcoming and personable. However, the beds were uncomfortable, and the Wi-Fi was unprotected.

The location was ok an the pool suck to walk to but the water was good the room was ok could have been cleaned alittle better.

I stayed this past weekend for a wedding. I have nothing but GREAT THINGS TO SAY! Rooms was great, staff was fantastic. Don at your front desk was a life saver! I was a bridesmaid in the wedding and was in charge of the Poem/Speech we wrote for the reception, well of course I left it at home. I went to the office to see if the computer for the guest would print. After a few failed attempted Don set me up at one of the main computers and helped me get the poem/speech printed for all of us. He seriously went above and beyond. He made sure to help me get what I need. I really was pleased at his willing nice. Really a nice guy! :) Cleaning staff was also very friendly and funny. It was nice to chat with them. It had a real family feel to it! :).

We spent 3 nights at Ocean Walk (Aug 8, 9, 10, 2010) and we were delighted with our stay. The studio was clean and well supplied. We were 2 adults and 2 kids in a regular studio, (a Murphy bed and futon). My husband thought the futon was a bit lumpy and would choose a room with two Murphy beds instead. We did not have any trouble with sounds from the upstairs occupants. We spent all of our time at the beach, our room was practically on the fine white sand! We'll be going back for sure.

This motel's walls are paper thin. Prepare to hear your neighbor. It is on the beach, though. So you may be able to hear the ocean as well, if you're lucky enough to get a room by the sea. At least they changed their smoking policy.
