Beautiful location and lovely people. Recently attended a wedding there and was blown away by the thought put into the place!

We can’t say enough about this special place. From the decor, to the service, the goats, chickens and so much more, we can’t wait to return. It’s truly magical.

This place is remote and beautiful, which is just what we were looking for. The decor is wonderful and our room perfect. I also really enjoyed the interactions with the inn keeper, Elizabeth, and the owner, Lisa. Lisa was kind enough to take our children to collect eggs in the hen house in the morning. Its was such a unique experience for them. We will be back!

Beautiful, clean and quite place. If you want to take a break from the everyday hectic life this is the place to go to. Highly recommended Special thank you to Elizabeth and the owner!

We were there for just a couple of days, but from what we saw it gets top rating. From the moment you drive in you know you are at a peaceful retreat away from everything. The place was beautifully decorated and had the farmhouse charm. The innkeeper, Elizabeth, was very welcoming and helpful. We felt at home and hated to leave. We definitely will be back!

So, if you want peace and quiet, beautiful setting, made to order breakfast of farm fresh eggs and bacon, and a fantastic Inn Keeper, this is the place to be. Rates were well worth what you receive. Remote yet still close to everything you want or need. We absolutely will be back. The only negative, our stay had to end.

Saw in foodandwine magazine in 2018 for their restaurant. Try the eggs in the morning or the pizza at night.

This place… what can I say but amazing. The breakfast was OUTSTANDING and the guest service was top notch. Liz, you were wonderful and cheerful and I wish you all the best!

We are so lucky to have this quaint and cozy Inn on our little Island. The food and atmosphere are enchanting and Roni and Mario are wonderful Innkeepers! On Monday nights, they do a pizza night. Incredible wood oven pizzas are prepared outside in the wood oven and can be eaten there or taken away.
The full course meals are spectacular farm to table food choices. I highly recommend this lovely Inn. My tenants come from all over the country and they all LOVE the Squire Tarbox Inn on Westport Island…

The Squire Tarbox will always have a special place in my heart. Whether I've been there for family events or on adventures of my own, it is always welcoming and comforting. I love the current inn keepers and particularly the beautiful dogs (ok, so I'm a real soft touch for dogs)! The accommodations are comfy and cosy and the food… oh it's awesome! But sit out on the deck and watch the sunset with a glass of your favorite adult beverage. The wind rustles in the trees. The colors of the sunset deepen across the rolling hills of the "back forty" (ok, maybe it's not 40 acres, what do I know? ). Complete with peace and cool nights, chickens and appearingly cross-eyed goats and probably more I'm just forgetting tonight… go for the rejuvenation of your soul. It's the best!
