You cannot beat the views of the ocean from all sides of the Inn. It is all truly unbelievable. Thank you all for such great hospitality.

Nice place. They need to fix a few things though. Bathroom door knob needed replacing and the comforter was ripped. Little things that I would expect to be taken care of.

My husband and I had our wedding there last weekend and can’t say enough good things about this establishment! Everything was perfect and we couldn’t be happier with the staff or the property. Will definitely be back!

We came for supper. Food was absolutely delicious, service was amazing.
Tiffany was her assertive, but not bothering us, made a great choice for my drink, and my friends flat bread.
We will be back for sure.

Everyone was absolutely wonderful here at the hotel. This was our first time staying at Newagen and it certainly won't be our last!
The staff, service and activities at the hotel exceeded our expectations. It was exactly what we needed for our little getaway with our three year old.

We just returned from a weekend get away and we had a blast. I think we used all of the properties amenities. I compare this property to a modern "Dirty Dancing" camp, From the pool to the vintage game room, lawn games, gorgeous sunrise, fire pits and so much more. Romantic get away, or family fun, this is a great place!

We got to stay here because they offered a “pay what you can” deal and we had so much fun! Very clean, friendly and a nice place to relax and enjoy family time! They have rocks to climb on and beautiful sunsets to watch. Downtown Boothbay is close and a fun place to check out while in the area too! So much fun and memories made!

We stayed in the Little inn and it was very spacious for our family. We loved the deck and being able to walk down off our deck to the pool and view the ocean (only two rooms has this capability). Southport Island feels secluded but such a short distance from Boothbay which made it nice for meal options. We loved all the activities the hotel had throughout the week. It felt very personalized. Very kid friendly.

This was our second visit to Newagen… and not our last! What a fantastic resort. The natural beauty combined with a caring and customer focused staff makes this a place to return to, again and again. We signed up for the Tuesday night lobster bake and were not disappointed. Fellow guests turned out to be delightful and new friendships were forged. We recommend Newagen highly!

Delicious meals, quiet places to read or simply enjoy the view, and comfortable rooms. Loved sitting on rocks overlooking ocean to view sunsets. Nearby trails for walking.
We spent part of our honeymoon here in 1983 and returned to celebrate our 35th anniversary. Still wonderful.

Amazing place, if it nad been not for the price I would have made it a 5 star. Room and location were awesome. Most rooms have balconies, which is great. So many outdoor activities! Small outdoor pool, which is salt water from the bay, very nice. Life-sized games like jenga, connect 4 and shuffle board. I'd check before booking if there is an event going on, as they'll take up the outdoor space. The breakfast was a traditional continental breakfast, which was disappointing for the price. Definitely spent an 2 nights there.

Had a wonderful lunch and afternoon with my family. The calamari is the best! The tiki bar area is my new favorite hiding/relaxing spot. Perfect day. Perfect service! Thank you NSI!

We are driving home from a wonderful stay! The inn is perfect to relax and unwind. It has a charming and friendly vibe and they go the extra to make sure you are cared for. We loved the s’mores night around the fire and the new tiki bar by the pool. The bar is great with live music many evenings. We enjoyed an amazing dinner our last night which I rank among my favorites! It is hard to find such quality menu offerings with such a beautiful setting.
Our favorite spot was two Adirondack chairs overlooking the ocean where we read our books for hours. They have many special spots like this around the property.
We can’t wait to return next summer!

. We wish we had more time to enjoy all the amenities. Although the game room lacked AC it had lots of fun games when the weather took a turn. We also had fun jumping off the dock into the ocean then warming up by the pool. The beds were comfy and patio was nice to sit on and listen to the waves. The walls were a bit thin, we could hear our neighbors so beware of that. Overall a very nice place to stay.

First time visitor and we chose the Newagen Seaside Inn. If you want to step back in time a little where you aren’t bombarded with screens or music, this is the place for you. It’s remote and quiet and makes you long for times when families took trips without iPads and DVDs. The in-house restaurant is pretty good and the bartender, Tian, makes a flawless old fashioned. We’ll be back next year.

Didn't stay a night or have a meal at the pub, but did slip down the trail to the water where the Rachel Carson memorial is and enjoyed the sunset. Will have to come back for dinner, both that and accomodations looked incredible.

This is our second year coming up here from northern Virginia, and we love this place. Already planning our trip back here next summer. Perfect location where u can open windows & hear the waves crashing as you go to sleep. Bar & fire pit are the best!

I have photographed weddings here over the years and it continues to be one of my favorite venues. Secluded with surrounding ocean views and a quality staff, honestly they are the best. You can't go wrong booking your event here.

We are really enjoying our stay! I am sitting in front of a roaring fire, listening to live music, my wife is doing a puzzle, all after a delicious meal. This place has it all and then some. We highly recommend both the inn & restaurant. The staff really is top notch, it shows that they enjoy working here. 5 stars! I will add to this review when check out.

What an amazing place to go. Amazing wedding venue with amazing views, rooms and game hall. Eat lobster caught right in the bay or take a boat around the harbour. The staff are friendly and extremely accommodating and help make sure while you are there, your trip is the best. I cannot say anything that all of the glowing reviews haven't said already. It is one of those places that you can see pictures of, but not understand what the place really is until you experience it for yourself.

This is a perfect family place or a great place for couples to get away. The staff was super friendly. It was so cozy and laid back here. Very clean! The sunrise was breathtaking with the view around you. The room we booked did not have a TV in it, which was perfect when trying to get away from things that are distracting. Just cannot say enough how impressed we were with this place. (Even our 14 year old son loved it and can't wait to go back)

The food from the restaurant was very good. Room service was excellent. Though raining for all but for our last day there the views were excellent. If we are in Booth Bay again we will be back. For those who might need to get some work in while they're the internet was the best I have ever had while on vacation.

I would rate the service staff with five stars and the hotel accommodations at three stars. We had room 101 which was very clean but had very noisy floor boards, a very noisy bed, and an air conditioner which could not adequately cool the room. The remote for the air conditioner (which is necessary to use) had very inadequate instructions. The grounds were poorly kept as was the game room. The breakfast buffet was very good with the food being kept warm and well stocked. Excellent coffee at breakfast. The restaurant was very good but a little pricey for the quality.

I had the pleasure of treating myself to a one-night stay at the Newagen Seaside Inn this summer after delivering a wedding cake to a nearby home. The dining room was closed for another wedding and the front desk staff directed me to Boothbay for a delicious meal at Ports of Italy. I knew about the wedding when I booked the room and was ok with the dining room being closed and the noise of the band. Most of the hotel guests were at the wedding. The suite I stayed in was comfortable and clean. The dining room staff was lovely when I went down for lunch before I checked out. I look forward to returning another time when I can spend more time exploring the grounds and enjoying amenities at the hotel.

Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The view from the patio was lovely including gardens and boating. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It's a great place to experience Maine.

My experience there was delightful. The views and sights were beautiful. The people there were great I needed dinner late but the pub was closed so they went out of there way to help me in getting some amazing lobster bisque (If you go there you need to get some)

The inn is in a beautiful setting; and we enjoyed walking to the waterfront along the trails. On a cool rainy day, it was nice to sit by a fire — even in summer! Staff were very friendly and helpful in the inn and restaurant. We ate all our meals there, which were excellent. The room was comfortable and clean, as were common areas. Overall, a very enjoyable stay — looking forward to future visits.

The room was nice. The property is beautiful. Well maintained. The staff are very friendly. I'd say the only downsides in my personal opinion are the coffee (weak) and the restaurant takes a long time and often misses things.

This inn is one of the loveliest places I've stayed. The indoor spaces, including the rooms were immaculate and beautifully decorated. The outdoor spaces were perfect for sitting quietly and listening to the sounds of the ocean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, both before and during my stay. The food was delicious. I hope to come back again next summer.

We returned last Friday (3 days ago), so visited rather late in the season. I have been twice before but never with my husband. He paid premium top dollar and booked us in to the Little Inn. I must say it was a disappointment. It was large and we loved the deck with two comfortable chairs, but inside the spacious bedroom there was only ONE tiny, but comfortable club chair. No table or lamp nearby it either. We made a makeshift arrangement with our suitcases to set a drink on. While in Boothbay I bought a large faux wicker deck chair for our patio at home. We ended up hauling it in to the room so we could BOTH sit-down with a cup of coffee when it was too cool to use the deck. The staff seemed smaller and certainly less knowledgeable than on previous visits. Had trouble finding our room, the 'name' was behind a wall, and it took another patron to help us. We went down to dinner early Thursday because the book in our room said local talent played from 5-7pm. Wrong — it started at 7. Ordered anyhow, and every fly in the place descended. I am assuming since we were the only ones dining at that time the food etc. Was a big draw. There was a harried looking woman moving tables around and she rather brushed it off, then later since we were both swinging are hands around to keep the flies from landing on our food, moved us outside. It was delightful there and we enjoyed the rest of our meal. We did have to pass on dessert because by then the mosquitos arrived.

All the staff was friendly, and the spruce cottage had an awesome view to wake up to! Some parts are on the old side and it isn't cheap but we had a blast and it's hard to beat the location. Stop by the alpaca farm when you visit!

Great old fashioned family Maine seaside get away! Modern amenities (air conditioning and Wi-Fi) are sub par, but the grounds, simple leisure activities, service and general ambiance of the Inn far out weigh those two complaints.

I was there this weekend and stayed in the Starfish Cottage. The land line was not connected to a phone service, the Wi-Fi in the cottage was spotty at best. We asked for towels a couple times before we picked them up at the front desk. When we asked to have dirty linens removed the attitude from the staff was like it was an imposition to do so. There is a binder on the coffee table encouraging guests to if they need anything, its too bad the written material didn't match the staff's attitude.

Visited this hidden beauty this weekend and what a pristine view of the ocean. Its a great quiet get away and if you are looking for a spot to relax and enjoy some laid-back Maine living this is as nice as any.

If you looking for a get away that you will remember for the rest of your life then Newagen Seaside Inn is the spot. Great food, excellent customer service, staff friendliness and the sunset and sunrise will keep you on the docks a lot. The location is perfect too, very romantic is you wanna take the lady out. The night sky is filled with star and if you like astronomy you will be amazed like I was to. See the big dipper. I miss it a lot.
