Great stay! Rooms are immaculate. Fantastic water views. Quintessential Maine setting. Breakfast was fabulous. Host very accommodating and attentive to any requests. We will return.

I have stayed at this property many times over the years. Beautiful location. Main building is a converted farmhouse where meals are served and hosts live. Annex features several larger rooms and another common area. Beautiful lobster wharf and state park nearby. Several lighthouses nearby along the river with short hikes to access them. Killer breakfast to start your day! AAA gem, the Maine Maritime Museum is a short drive away in Bath.

If you are looking for a relaxing place to go for vacation this would be it. It is one of the prettiest places and the breakfast was amazing. Very friendly and very clean. Cannot wait to return.

WOW, Just Wow! What a beautiful place to wake up. Then fresh coffee and a home made breakfast. Bob is a fantastic cook and accommodated a vegan breakfast for my partner. Took a walk down to the cove and the view was unbeatable. Had a full day of activities with family in Portland or I would have gone kayaking. We only stayed 1 night but I will be back for a longer stay.

We’ve stayed here a couple of times and have loved it. Beautiful, peaceful location, quiet & the food is incredible! I have a food allergy & it was no problem at all. They made sure that they made me a breakfast I could eat!

Coveside is a lovely spot to relax and enjoy Maine. The innkeepers, Tom and Carolyn, are gracious, helpful and Carolyn is a superb cook. Inviting chairs are placed around the property. Walk to a lobster pound, enjoy an unusual (for Maine) sandy beach at the state park a short drive away, And know that, should you want to leave Coveside, you are close to Bath, Boothbay Harbor, Rockland, and all midcoast Maine has to offer. I can't wait to go back!

This is one of our favorite places to visit. We've been four times now and look forward to future times at Coveside. Lovely rooms. Great food and hospitality. Amazing location.

Happy 20th anniversary! We started coming 19 years ago and the hospitality, conversation, and beautiful location (5 minutes form the lobster dock) have never gotten old.

Lovely room with a private balcony overlooking the Cove. Boat dock with Canoe and Kayaks at the ready! Great breakfast too!

Great place to stay and relax. The setting was beautiful, the accommodations were very nice, the breakfast wonderful.

My fiance and I had a large wedding and wanted a quiet, beautiful spot to get away for our honeymoon, and Coveside B&B was the perfect place! We stayed in Bart's Room (main house, first floor) for 5 nights, and we had a truly wonderful experience. Even being right off of the main living space, we had plenty of privacy. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean and beautifully decorated, and we could watch the sun rise over Gotts Cove right from our bed. The food was a phenomenal experience in and of itself — Carolyn's breakfasts were immaculate, hearty, delicious, and of the best quality, and her homemade cookies kept us happy all day long. She and her husband Tom were very knowledgeable about the things to do in the area and where to find the best seafood, and were exactly the kind of B&B hosts you hope to get — kind and chatty, but not invasive of your space as a guest. Whether we were watching the sun rise from our bedside, eating breakfast on the stone patio, reading a book by the water, or playing a board game on the porch, we were happy and at peace; Coveside was exactly the setting we were looking for.

Our stay was beautiful. The location is picturesque, the rooms cozy and the owners delightful. The breakfasts were amazing every morning, especially when paired with the beautiful view. I hope we have an opportunity to come back and visit again sometime.

Lovely setting on the Golf Cove of the Sheepscot River. Tranquil cottage style bedrooms with views of water. Delicious gourmet breakfast. I highly recommend for a quiet get-away.

We have been here two wonderful nights and highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a beautiful setting with the most comfortable accommodations! Tom & Carol are terrific hosts. Views of the cove & bay are the best. Very relaxing. Breakfasts prepared by Carol were outstanding! Tom had great suggestion on what to see & where to have dinner.

Tom and Carolyn feel like family now after staying with them for the 3rd time this month. My husband and I stayed at Coveside on our honeymoon and keep on coming back after falling in love with both the B&B and the area. Tom and Carolyn are so incredibly welcoming and their property is beyond beautiful. If you are looking for somewhere to kick back, relax, take in some breathtaking scenery, and eat some amazing breakfast make sure to spend some time here!

I've stayed several times while attending Salad Days at Watershed — loved every minute of it! This place is a must stay!

We had a great time at this B and B. I am very picky about beds and the bed, and bedding, was extremely comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious! The property and area is idyllic and even more beautiful than the photos! I can't wait to go back.
