Love this place, the studio rooms are awesome, has everything you need!

The manager is a complete jerk. They do not allow an option to pay with cash, and there’s a really weird resident out front in a wheelchair that tells your children what to do… I couldn’t even stay the night because I was too creeped out by the people hanging out in front. But don’t call and complain because they’ll treat you like garbage. I love residence inn, but NOT this one.

You kick a family of 5 out that are already homeless from losing their house in a fire. Yes they tested positive for Covid … they asked what the rules were and followed them … maybe you should have your staff have better communication between each other so they are on the same page and maybe teach them to not be so rude to a family that has already lost so much. This company has lost my business and hopefully others who will listen to me … very disappointed … isn’t kindness suppose to go with hospitality.

Loved everything about it. Room was AMAZJNG. Very clean. Very friendly. I of coarse forgot my toothbrush and headed down to see if there was any in their marketplace to purchase and low and behold they had them. Not for sale but complimentary. Along with toothpaste, deodorant, razors, even little sewing kits. Awesome for anyone who forgets those little things. Pool was very clean. Lots of shops and restaurants close by. If I am every in the area again this is where I will be staying. I would live here if I could.

Residence inn was beautiful just as a visitor.

I just stayed there recently and the worker their named ericka pushed my friend. The manager named Paul hung up the phone when I called to complain. This hotel is trash and only likes you if you are some old rich white person. They assumed we was smoking because we had two black people with us (Yes they told us just like that. ) Don't ever stay here!

This hotel was clean, nice, and reasonably priced, and the staff was very friendly. The bed was extremely comfy! It was a great place after a long day on the road. Also my husband and I accidentally left a bag of laundry behind and, because we weren't going to be passing back through on our road trip, we called and asked if they could mail it to us. We offered to pay for the shipping but they said it was free of charge.

Had a 2 week stay due to temporarily being relocated from my apartment. During the stay the staff were friendly always, and when needed went far above and beyond. We had a very unusual issue with a door not locking, but Head Engineer Nick, and I presume a manager named Scott really did everything they possibly could to fix it, and were successful. Kudos in the highest regard to the great staff at The Marriot.

Very nice. Appears to be either new or extremely well maintained. Staff were friendly, room was clean and quiet. Location was convenient to restaurants. Overall good experience.

Stayed here for a week. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Beds were extremely comfortable and every night was a nice long, quiet sleep. It was perfect for the long days. It was clean and housekeeping was great and timely. In fact, so timely, that the door hanging cards were used often to be able to sleep in past 10. I recommend this place to anyone who can afford the extra cost, suite style mini apartment, and a good night's sleep.

I attended a small family reunion gathering where we ate, conversed and the children swam in the pool. The staff were pleasant and attentive and the facilities were very clean and well maintained. An overall good experience.

We had the double room — — beds I understand were great, though that pullout was not if you have a bad back. Breakfast was above what was expected. There bathroom's heat lamp was amazing! FYI the pool is advertised as indoor heated, but it's the room heated rather than the pool water.

Apartment style amenities in a hotel setting. The hotel has a pool and excercise room. If you need to do your laundry then you will be able to find an onsite laundry room. The hotel also as breakfast which is no different then what you would find at a normal hotel. All in all this is a good hotel if you are staying in the area for a long period.

We have been staying at this hotel every other year for the past 12 years. They are doing some much needed renovation. Not that the place is worn down, but it shows its age. The breakfast is too notch, and the lobby is very spacious and welcoming. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The operations manager (don't remember his name) is very responsive to guests needs.

Clean, good size rooms. They offer a snack in the evening and a very nice breakfast. Staff is helpful. Would stay there again.

I have stayed here a number of times in the last couple years. I was very happy with the service from all the staff. I enjoyed a swim and was really looking forward to a soak in the hot tub but it had been removed… I will still stay here and recommend this place for the customer service but the hot tub being gone is disappointing.

This place is absolutely fantastic nice people free food 3 days a week and the staff has an all-around great attitude.

The company is deceptive and the staff are absolutely terrible. Unfortunately it was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had to deal with and the managers couldn’t care less about their guests satisfaction. I booked a room here under the impression that there was a hot tub (as advertised on their website) When I showed up… no more hot tub. I called to speak to management a day later just to be interrupted and hung up on. Called again a day later and got the same type of disrespect from the head manager. They were both extremely argumentative and said it was my fault so “oh well” $230 a night to be treated like trash. I won’t be visiting again. I’m not interested in paying 5 star prices for 1 star service. There are several better hotels in this city for half the price.

Beautiful room, very clean. I liked breakfast better then any other hotel I have stayed at. Exellent breakfast especially for Keto diet people. Eggs, sausage, cheese fresh spinach and cantalope. I called the front desk on my way and asked for the heat to be turned up in my room to 75 degrees because it was a cold day and I had a chill. When I arrived the room was warm, I believe someone did turn it up, however they missed the mark. It was set at 72 deg. Friendly staff, everything great uther then not exactly hitting my temperature mark.

This Marriott is the best I place I have stayed in while in Maine. It is located in a good neighbor plus you have everything right at your finger tips. The staff is excellent and Friendly. I had a family emergency and the staff and manager Paul Green should compassion and aide telling me to get to your family we will take care of everything for you. The rooms and pool are very clean and if there is a problem the address it. Again a more friendlier place when working away from home you cant ask for more.

After reviewing my stay personally to them, which low scores were for cleanliness, not following through on question needing answers also, I find the managerial staff to be rude and they give you the sense of talking down to you. I just called today for a question on my bill and I was spoken too harshly and unprofessionally. I normally do not do reviews publicly as I feel I would rather discuss situations personally, but since this is the third time rudness has been shown with no compensation for the first problems accept for 5000 points given to me, which I responded back what do these points do since I don't know about them, once again no reponse was given to me. They made the points sound like a free night. I will be going back to Lewiston ME many time as it now happens, I will never use this place to stay again.

Great rooms at great prices. Had a two room suite that was worth every penny.

When I booked I chose this hotel because there was a hot tub. When I got there I was advised that they got rid of the hot tub a week ago. My reservation was made a month ago. They should have called or emailed the ones with reservations and advised us of this change. I would have cancelled and found a different place. The purpose of my stay was to have mice relaxing girls night with a friend. The fact you neglected to advise me there was no longer a hot tub really changed t…he purpose of the whole night for me. Room was nice and I did like the fact that there was a ice maker in the freezer but it was not turned on before my arrival so by the time ice was made it was almost time to head to bed. Breakfast was good. There should have been more than one person working on keeping the food replenished. It was really busy with people and kept running out of stuff.

I'd you want a home away from home experience stay at a Residence, beat part is you feel like your at home, but you don't have to make the bed.

I think it was nice they had nice rooms but they told there was a hot tub and there was not. The pool is really nice though they defianlty take care of the place. Breakfast isnt the best I was not plzed with breakfast they didnt have enough room to seat everyone who came in I had to squeeze into a small corner to sit somewheres but they were doing construction so that may have been why. Otherwise its a great place thank you! And the staff is very nice!

In a nutshell, the room smelled, but the customer service stunk even worse. I booked a double room suite for a two-night family girls getaway. The room was spacious and seemed fine at first till we noticed the smell coming from the kitchen. Didn't figure out till the following morning that it was putrid food stuck in the garbage disposal and the disposal was not working. When maintenance came to fix it, he said it was a known problem. It still smelled really bad even after he cleared the clog, but he said the hotel was all out of the deodorizer pods they usually supply. We finally went out and bought our own baking soda so we could stand to eat in the room. I'm not usually squeamish about such things, but was wondering what was airborne from the black sludge that had stayed in the disposal for who knows how long. (I have since read a review with the same complaint, about a week before my stay. ) Why wasn't it addressed and fixed? The other issue was an important message left at the hotel desk that I never received. It was after an ice storm and my daughter was driving from Portland to meet us there on the second night of our stay. My cell phone was dropping our calls at the hotel, so I gave her the number at the front desk and my room number and told her to please call to let us know she was OK or if, for some reason, could not make it. The rest of us stayed in the room visiting the entire night, waiting for her arrival.

Staff was very nice. Rooms were clean and cozy. Also pool area was great for the kids.

So far it has been a good stay. Love that they are pet friendly since we are there because our home is being worked on. They have been great being flexible since we don't know how long our stay will be. Only issue so far is there are some blemishes in the room (cracked leaking sink, missing disposal cover, missing ascetic coverings, etc. ) but only minor things.

We had an excellent night's rest in warm and comfortable suite. We enjoyed watching a Bruins game in the well appointed living area, and enjoyed an excellent happy hour. Great service at the reception.

We loved our 3 night stay. Staff is excellent, rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. Delicious breakfast, many options and all fresh ingredients. We will definitely recommend to our family and friends.

The place is more like a home. The staff is friendly and the air conditioning is perfect. The pool and the whirlpool are awesome too. So many shops conveniently near by. The hotel is located at the most convenient place possible. The kitchenette and the fridge allows us to have our food our way. The beds are comfortable too.

The stay was enjoyable and pleasant. Some minor issues in the breakfast area related to mechanical problems. Otherwise clean and comfortable.

Great Lewiston location. Helpful staff. Spacious rooms. Manager Paul was excellent at helping out with lodging our wedding party.

We went there for the fireplace but the equipment was broken. Basically paid high price for staying in nowhere place. Expected better breakfast choices. Also the pool was so hot that you could not stay there for longer than 2 minutes. The conditioner was broken. Must been 100 degrees in there. So not sure what the temperature was in the hot tub but all place was a hot tub. They opened windows but only helped a little. I could not cancel reservation because it was prepaid. The room and lobby was nice.

Well the pullout bed was surprisingly comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies: small pots, pans, one soup pot, three cooking knives, a spatula, and some cooking spoons. The pool was warm (around 80-85 degrees). The hot tub was painfully hot though.

Super clean hotel and respectable guests. The beds are great and the rooms are spacious. Breakfast sucks with the nasty powdered eggs. There is a mixer Mon through Wednesday but no alcohol is given. Most of the front desk people are very engaging. But the manager always looks too serious and is not very inviting.

I have had many stays with the Marriot family. This by far is one of the cleanest and friendliest places. Michael and Kelsey who work the front desk were super helpful. We had to extend out stay due to a snow storm. No problem is what they said. The housekeeping staff do an amazing job of keep the rooms very tidy and clean. The pool is great. The morning breakfast was plentiful and the staff very friendly. Thank you for making my family feel at home!

Nothing is better than a suite when you travel. The residence inn gives you everything you need from large room to happy hour when you get done with work.

Bed bugs! Don't come here. You will take home the bed bugs and have to pay thousands for everything to be sanitized by exterminator like we had to. Management didn't seem bothered or seem to care when brought to their attention. Not worth it trust me.

Pretty gross facilities. Not like the rest of the Mariotts that's for sure. Was at breakfast and the boy attendant refilling utensils dropped a plastic fork on the ground, looked around to see if anyone noticed, then decided to put this fork back in a pile of cleaned forks, for people's consumption. I called him out on it and he denied it even though I saw it with my very own eyes. Management doesn't get much better, Michael seems very compassionate but isn't there enough. Manager Chris Bubbico is a kook, completely incompetent manager running this place. Public bathrooms were left FILTHY — brought to his attention two separate occasions. During my 7 day stay, after I brought up these concerns TWICE to manager Chris — during my entire 7 days the bathrooms WERE NOT SANITIZED NOR CLEANED! No towels at pool had to use the gym sweat towels that people use to wipe their sweat while working out. All of this was minor, The real icing on the cake and cherry on top was the BED BUGS which cost me $1000s to get rid of when they came back home with me FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I am not big on reviews but due to Chris ignorance, here it is. I hope they fix this problem and consumers BEWARE OF THE BUGS! It will cost you $1000s like it did me to get them out of your home after they travel home with you.

The amenities here are fantastic, the location is so convenient, and the staff are so friendly!

Filthy horrible place to stay. Management does not hold up this residence inn to other mariott standards, so lower your expectations ahead of time to avoid being let down once you do arrive. Management seems to only care about a few selected employees, Chris Bubbico does not care about your simple concerns such as requesting a cleaned room, or towels stocked at pool area. Should you request any of this — you will immediately be retaliated against by the bright orange haired employee and manager Kelsey Earle. You will have bugs throughout the establishment (yes, inside and out), on the very rare occasion that there are towels stocked at pool (noticeably only when Bubbico is off), when you go for a clean one you will find blood stains and or fecal matter still present on your "clean" towel. DO NOT REQUEST ANYTHING — if you do, your entire stay will be hell due to the employees and Bubbico refusing to acknowledge or care that this establishment is filthy and doesn't hold up to the typical Residence Inn standards you and I are used to. Lower your expectations and standards before going in, and make note to never complain or request anything, and your stay will be much more pleasant should you ignore the filthiness and bugs throughout.

Horrible place to stay long term. Not bad if you want to stay for a night or two. Housekeeping doesn't keep up with cleaning rooms, no matter how many times you try to communicate it with GM Chris. Red haired Kaitlyn posts signs up signed by management — yet doesn't have the authority to post these types of signs (according to Chris). Unplesant stay during 2+ weeks of my 70 year old moms house flood being repaired. This residence Inn doesn't reflect the rest of the chain-which is quite superb all the way from CA, AZ, CT, and MA… for some reason this one here in Auburn is the black sheep, they have none of the expected standards down that you'd expect when going to stay at this facility. You feel like you are a huge inconvenience for asking them to refill the towel rack, or to leave you with some extra toilet paper.

It's a shame it looks so good and it's close to stores and restaurants. But the housekeeping is beyond pathetic. I have been here for over a week and the floors are not vacuumed. Elevators were filthy. The staff are nice and helpful. But housekeeping needs work.

The manager Chris Bubbico's dishonesty and blatant disregard for customer service has lead myself and my company to never use this or any other Marriott in the country. I live locally and had a pipe burst inside my house. I have a family of Four and two dogs. Chris said a two bedroom would be best for the amount of stuff and people we were bringing in. Checked in at 7 pm on Friday night and was stuffed in a one bedroom. Brought to the attention of his staff, all they could say is he wont be in until Monday. Dealt with being cramped all weekend one of my dogs costing me $25 a day because there was no way all of us could have fit in there. Monday comes the sink backs up with nasty gray water with chunks of old food and smells terrible. Chris says he will send someone right away. No one comes for two days. He also says well I don't have a two bedroom until Thursday so you will have to deal with it or go somewhere else. Really? Thursday Wednesday my room starts to smell like cigarette smoke terribly. My son has a breathing problem and had to receive several treatments because of this. Brought it up to his staff. They said well someone must be smoking in the bathroom just close the bathroom door and here is some deodorizing spray. I would have left right then but I already paid for the week and $100 no refundable deposit for my pet. This smell keeps going on for two more days. I brought it up to the front desk several more times and they did nothing couldn't find out who it was.

I stay here once a month for work. Also bring my son along on occasion — great indoor pool/hot tub. Nice gym. Good breakfast. Nice comfortable large rooms. Great place. Also located next to mall, restaurants and close to downtown. Only about 45 minutes from Portland.

I traveled from Virginia to Maine to be there for my best friend who was in Hospice with not much time left. I had been on the road for 14 hours and then headed straight to Hospice. After being up for 2 days without sleep and emotionally drained, I drove past the Residence Inn and pulled in hoping for a room. Residence Inn is very fortunate to have someone like Sara working for them. By the time I had explained why I was there, my emotions got the best of me, and she was so comforting and accommodating. She went out of her way to make me feel better. She even offered me food as I had not eaten all day. She went above and beyond her job description. The room was absolutely gorgeous, and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Fabulous hotel, great staff, clean rooms, wonderful space plus a full breakfast. Best Residence Inn we've stayed at. Worth a trip to Lewiston/Auburn to shop or check out Bates College.
