The ladies that run the place are the niciest people. The place is very friendly and home like. Everything was clean. The shower was my only problem. The shower head was too low and was at my nose and I'm 5'10.

Great for the price. Nothing fancy, but it was clean and the owner/manager was very nice.

The staff were very polite. Just really run down. It is good for a one night stay maybe but personally I will not go back.

This is a great place to stay. We have stayed there a bunch of times and the owner Gale is a very nice lady that treats you very good while you stay there. We woke up late and having a 6 month old it was kind of them to let us stay an extra hour after checkout to take care of feeding her and not pressing us to get out like we have experienced at other places like Jays Motel in Terryville.

It's was ok a bit of a morgue feel to it. The shower SUUUUUUCCCCKKKKSSSS pardon the expression but a ducks a duck. The heater is not safe for kids or animals FYI. The placement of the lights above the bed. That was a hassle with a small child who likes to explore! They morning donuts we're lovely and the houskeeper he is just the nicest. The shower also leaked through the wall to my closet. The vending machine sucks and the front desk won't make change. Henny penny next door rocks tuna salad was my life. The scenery in the back when covered in snow was lovely a small stream runs through the woods. It's a creepy morgue like hole in the wall I once called home.

Very good and clean rooms. Fresh towels everyday and coffee and donuts for breakfast. Owners are the kindest people and will do whatever it takes to make sure your stay is comfortable. Highly recommended.

Amenities are non existent for the price. 20" TV, no bath. Extremely cold no heat control. Not even warm enough to bathe. Slept that's it. Leaving early. Not staying longer for coffee and donuts.

Love this place, feel the prices could be a little lower but the location is great. I stated a few weeks once, then once for a getaway from everything. Would recommend if you care less about luxury and more about location.

Great location for the Dinosaur place, Ocean Beach, the Crystal mall, and Mystic. Big shower, nice pool, great service, Wi-Fi.

Price was a little high woman is very nice but I was bitten by bugs in the middle of the night was not offered any kind of constellation.

It's not one of the greatest places, but it is recommendable when it comes to pet owners ers (especially pitbull owners) who are away with their pets that needs a place to spend the night.

Great rates and close to all casinos and attractions. Quiet and clean rooms. Very accommodating staff. Would definitely come back. Very close to the shipping mall.

Perfect roadside need. Cheap, fast nice service. Coffee, juice and snacks in the morning.

Old and old is all I can say. I think the rooms are used as long term for people who are down and out… The website is deceiving. Gail is very nice, with that said not at all what I imagined. Will not go back.

With great service to match a great at home atmosphere, Peace and quiet with comfortable setting I couldn't ask for more in an overnight stay.

Awful. This may have been a nice place years ago but it is a rundown, dingy motel now.

The owner, Gail, is a wonderful person. We booked a room here at a fantastic price for 4 people for a Saturday night. The room was very clean and the beds are big enough to sleep 2 people very comfortably. The motel is about 15 minutes away from Mohegan Sun and 20 minutes away from Mystic Aquarium so the location is great. If you are planning on going to Mohegan Sun, Foxwoods, or Mystic and would like to stay the night somewhere nearby, I would highly recommend that you give Oakdell a call.

Wonderful! Gail is a darling and the room was tidy, clean and perfect. Cable, Wi-Fi and beautiful grounds made for a pleasant girl's getaway weekend. FIVE minutes from the mall, 30 mins from Mystic, absolutely perfect. See you next year, Gail.

Wonderful for an evenings trist.

The owner, Gail, is so sweet. Felt like I was staying at my grandma's house :). The room was clean and comfy. This is also the most affordable rate in the area.

Very convenient and clean. Good value for the price.

Perfect place to stay during an outage and a very pleasant and restfull place. Easy acces to most everything in the area and very easy to get to the plant from here. I was pleased to see many other nuke workers here already. I will return here everutime I'm in the area.
