Let me start By saying this place is a dump! My wife and I stayed there this weekend while attending an AKC event. Everything about this facility is dated, not maintained, and simply dirty. We were forced to stay in a smoking room as we were traveling with two dogs. We are not smokers and the room absolutely Stunk. There were burn holes in the carpet, holes in the walls, the television remote had about four layers of Grease and crud on it, And the beds were probably the original beds from one the facility was built. We stayed on the second level and the wood underneath the filthy carpet had so many soft spots in it I was fearful I may fall through. Also, when I went to check out, the gentlemen behind the desk barely lifted his head when I handed him my key. I told him my room number and said”checking out”. His response was “Okay”. It is not in the nicest of neighborhoods and I would do anything that you can do to avoid staying here.

The property could use a renovation but the room was clean and where my family was located was quiet. The pool was nice and the kids had fun. The breakfast was good, bagels, cereal, muffins, coffee, tea, oatmeal. Very close to the place we were going.

Torn between 2 and 3 stars. The front desk is very helpful. The room was not as nice as the pictures showed. The pool was nice and relaxing. Overall we wanted a weekend away, and we got it.

Rooms aren't dirty but seem like they were used quite a bit, could use a renovation. Wifi is terrible, if you can get any, staff is friendly and open to help. Recommend staying only if you need a place to stay in a hurry.

Stayed for one night last Sunday. I stayed there because it is close to the place I visited. You can hear the noise when you walk. Room is outed. The desk has a microwave and a lamp on the top so I could not use it for work.

Room wasnt ready and had to wait around for 45 minutes. Needs to be renovated badly. Overall pretty clean and friendly staff.

Looking for a marriott this isnt it but if your looking for a cozy place to rest this would be it me and my kids enjoyed our stay we were provided with a clean room a huge plus and indoor pool another huge plus.

A great place for me and my cat to stay two nights nice staff and rooms were nice and clean my original room was on the ground floor but manager changed me to a room on second floor and it was clean nice and cozy I will stay here again.

Convenient location clean rooms not to bad of a price.

The suite was very nice, and matched the picture. Everything was clean, and the complentary items we're decent. The refrigerator and the closet we're a beat run down, and the shower pressure was iffy, but it was worth it in the end.

Beautiful and very clean! Staff was Very nice and helpful. However toooo cold in winter no heat in bathroom. No microwave in room.

It's not a cheap hotel where you are worried about if your car will be there in the morning because the room only costs 20 for the night. But it's not the Ritz either. The sheets dry really fast, and for what I got at the price I paid… I'd use them again.

It's a room for rent that I hope I never have to be in need of again. I only give it 2 stars because I haven't seen any bugs yet. There is no blanket on the bed just a couple of sheets from the feel of it. The place is in dire need of a cleansing and sprucing up. There really is nothing else here unless you want to drive an additional 45 miles but it's 10 at night and I'm exhausted. The positive is that the front desk was nice and I'm only here for 6 hour's.

Clean but outdated Well, you get what you pay for is the motto — Even though the staff was very friendly and helpful, you immediately discover upon entering the room that it definitely hasn't been updated in quite awhile. Although it was clean, we experienced slow drainage of bathroom sink, 1 outlet so you needed to decide what two items to plug in — the TV, Refrigerator, Microwave or Coffee Maker. The refrigerator was in an old cabinet that made it unlevel and rocked back and forth. A sound coming I think from the room upstairs that resembled a dripping sound that kept us awake, air conditioning that really didn't cool down the room and outdated material in their welcome book. It stated that breakfast was available until 10 on the weekend but when I arrived at 9:20, most of the items were already removed — thankfully they accommodated me with butter and a knife for my bagel that I had toasting. Unsure about the pool being heated as it seemed a bit chilly when I used it but very relaxing all the same. I'll go back if I have to but hope that some improvements can be done to upgrade their rooms.

Only stay here if you have to. I paid the same amount as I did at the Hyatt House in Shelton CT and wow what a difference. It's not that the roadway was dirty per say, but it just wasn't nearly anything like the Hyatt (and it was in an even smaller town too which was ironic). I stayed in a king sized bed room with a jacuzzi. The walls creaked all night (I believe because the pipes run through the walls especially when upstairs runs their jacuzzi) and it was difficult to not notice without a video or the rain playing on YouTube for sleep. It smelt like humidity probably because of the jacuzzi. And everything was a little 30 year or so look and feel old (carpet, fixtures, door enclosing). The bed was not good. Springy, no under cover between the mattress and your sheet. Nice that it had a microwave, but it didn't reach the outlet on top of the cabinet it was on so I had to move it to the floor to reach the outlet. Also, it was supposed to be non smoking, but when I got back to my other hotel, now all my clothes smell like cigarettes. Guess I got used to it while sleeping… but now have to wash my clothes. It's alright for a normal nights stay, better than a motel 6… but for $110 a night in Torrington when you can have the same price for a studio suite at a Hyatt House in Shelton… might as well drive the extra hour South or stay in Shelton before driving North. One good thing, it was nice to be so close to the White Memorial Conservation park in the morning for hiking.

Room was clean and tidy, little noisy, friendly staff and great room price.

STAY AWAY Room smelled like smoke eventhough it was a non smoking room. They allowed us to Switch rooms. Mattress was hard as a rock, and there was dust all over. This place is extremely unsanitary and should be shut down.

More and my wife had a great time, very quiet. The hot tub was amazing. Room was clean when we arrived, would be going back next time were in town.

Completely rundown rooms that smell of smoke, even though they are supposedly non-smoking. They are musty smelling year-round, even when it is cool out. Rude management to boot.

Room was supposed to be non-smoking. Person who checked us in made of point of the $300 fee if we smoked in our room. We are all non-smokers — that's why we asked for a non-smoking room. Walked into our supposedly non-smoking room and it reeked of cigarettes even though it looked recently made up. Went back to desk clerk and he gave us another room. It smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals but it was late and we were tired so we gave it a try. Within 5 minutes of laying down in the bed I experienced an asthma attack and could not breathe so, we left. The desk clerk was polite enough but for some reason he did not have the authority to give us a refund. Eventually he called the manager who OK'd the refund. The desk clerk gave us a receipt showing a $0.00 balance but not a refund. I have traveled for both business and pleasure for over 30 years and have stayed in many hotels and motels and this was the worst experience I have ever had.

Outside looks. Nice. Pool is there and so is "gym". Rooms are older and tv's don't have remotes. Okay for a one night stay but not cozy. Days inn rooms seem cleaner and more professional. Roadway does have a better breakfast, and a nicer lobby for sure.

When we got to the motel, our AC was fried and the staff promptly addressed the issue and moved us to another room. The staff are friendly, courteous, and attentive. The rooms are standard. One issue I have is that they are small for the amount of furniture they have in the room. I also find that the pillows are horrible. Absolutely no rigidity to them. If you stay here, being your own pillows. The cleaning isn't the greatest. We found several hairs on different areas of the room. The bathroom was the main area where we saw random hairs. It is definitely your run of the mill motel. Nothing fancy but not crappy. I would stay here again with my family.

Air conditioning filter thick with dust, urine in the side of toilet at coming in room not vacuum coffee pot had old molding filter also waited for many hours for them to make my beds in my room I cleaned the filters so I can at least breath I am allergic to dust and was wondering why I couldn't breathe at night so good luck here.

The staff was great; friendly and professional. We had a non-smoking room, which was clean and had all that we needed. The noise level from other guests late at night was a bit annoying, but we got to sleep. The pool was okay, things were floating in the pool, which we didn't quite know what they were. Even though we had a non-smoking room, folks in other rooms had a tendency of smoking out in the open hallways, which made the area smell smokey.

Don't let the pictures fool you. This place is ghetto. I wouldn't recommend but there's not a lot of options here.

I would've given less stars if possible. On arrival I tried to cancel, but they said it was against policy. Missing lightbulbs on purpose, outlets not working, 2 pillows for king size room, bent lamp, rooms smelled like urine. It looked like people were living there. Door had been kicked in several times and repaired. It reminded me of a hotel where you see people smoking crack or cooking crystal meth in movies. Hotel staff was rude. They would not let us cancel, refund, or discount. They hung up on us at one point. The parent company choice hotels was pleasant on the phone, but did nothing to resolve. They didn't accommodate special needs.

Very clean room, good gym and indoor pool, and nice breakfast. Completely exceeded expectations.

It has everything you need and close. To the highway/and stores. Great pool/jacuzzi.

New management it's a lot better now but they could work on a few minor things better pillows better cable and a mini fridge and microwave available upon request they were very kind and professional and I felt very comfortable.

Thievish people working there. I made a booking through expedia looking for a hotel in Ca and somehow lead me to Ct. I cancelled immediately and was told I would get refunded once expedia cancelled it. Mary was helpful in the beginning but supposedly doesn't work there now and apparently they haven't heard of the buyers remorse law either. 2 months later I am still trying to get my refund being bounced back and forth between expedia and them. Looks like I will go to their Better Business Bureau.

Not bad at all. Yes ice machine is broken. Room is fine and clean. Has fridge, microwave and coffee por. Free Wi-Fi is fast too. Close to restaurants. Good T-mobile cell signal. Bed is the hardness my back likes.
