Very convenient for families who have a student attending UConn as it is located right on campus. Close to Storrs Center and all the restaurants/shops there. Rooms are spacious, quiet, and very clean. We stayed for move in weekend and it was a perfect location with everything you need just a short walk or drive away. We will be staying here again. Go huskies!

A really great place to stay!

Just had my wedding here on Friday and could not be happier with the event itself and the attention to detail our event coordinator Missy provided throughout the process! We had a ton of freedom to choose all the particulars of the event and she worked with us to custom tailor the wedding to our specifications! The food we chose was amazing and they were even able to custom order my craft beer selections! Everyone was complimenting the food and drink selection all evening! The entire staff was very professional and efficient behind the scenes. Also, it is so convenient to have the hotel right there for all your out of town guests and the True Blue Tavern right next to our tent for the after party! Thank you Missy and staff for making our day so special! Highly Recommend!

Rooms are large and the pool is exquisite. The RA's maintain quiet and the location is close to the South Campus Market Place Diner. Lastly, the restaurant is very upscale.

I live here as a student. The staff is very friendly. Both of the restaurant s on the site serve really good food and the rooms are clean and well stocked.

In this industry, the front desk is truly the heartbeat of any hotel/inn. I spoke to Nathan Hale Inn's front desk staff Venus on the 4th November 2016 at 11.39am to check whether the inn has received my delivery of two luggages (in 2 separate huge carton boxes) that my friend and I have bought online. I was extremely disappointed for the lack of assistance rendered and impolite remarks made by Venus. Despite my repeated requests (3 times to be exact), Venus not only refused to provide any form of logistical assistance, but also gradually raised her voice and unreasonably demanded that I should move the boxes myself. What frustrated me deeply is that the lack of professionalism that I have received at the front desk. I honestly do not mind if I do not receive any form of help, but at least hope I receive the basic form of respect and professionalism as a guest of the inn, and more importantly as a human being. I hope no one else would receive such an unpleasant experience and treatment.

A great place to go around UConn for dinner or drinks; the food is always excellent, the staff is friendly and the service is quick; Kate the bartender is one of the best around. One of the few places near campus that isn't so loud you can't hear yourself think. The recent renovations to the bar area really make the place look modern and fresh.

Great location as it's right on campus and great service, everyone is very nice. Rooms and hotel are dated and somewhat dingy but not uncleanly. Restaurants also have good service and food. Numerous cable channels available as well. No in room safe but there is a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker.

I was very disappointed with the quality of the food. One example was the vegetable dish we had chopped up spaghetti squash and you couldn't chew the skin in my experience are not supposed to leave the skin on so you had to physically pick up the piece of squash and eat the inside part out and leave the outside intact. Also the food was not hot when we ate. Had to go out in the rain from the tent into the building to find the bathroom. There was only one very nice girl working at the bar with a long long line of people waiting there should have been two people working at the bar. Otherwise company was wonderful we had a great time together for our class reunions but I don't think I would go back again for another function. Unless things can improve.

Its a decent place, the staff are very nice. The rooms are kept clean, and the service is really good and reliable. The place just needs to be updated a bit.

Expensive. They changed rates per night on one of our multi night stays without informing us that adding an additional night would not cost the same amount. Food from the hotel is expensive. Pool was tiny. We moved rooms because we were overlooking an ugly part of a roof, but in doing so they moved us to a room that did not have a fridge-so we had to move again to get a fridge AND a view that wasn't blocked/ugly.

The external tent for social events is spacious, well lit, and ventilated appropriately to maintain quality. Overall, Nathan Hale Inn & Conference Center provides optimal spaces for conventions and social events for a decent price as well!

The hotel was pretty standard. Nothing to write home about. Rooms were reasonably clean but I did find some dried fruit under the bed. Had breakfast in the morning in the restaurant. If possible my recommendation would be to go somewhere else for breakfast.

One of my favorite bars; always quiet (unless there's a game on), friendly staff, and great food.

Great place to stay over the holidays with lots of available space. Rooms are reasonably priced, clean and somewhat up to date. On site bar has good prices but closes early. Friendly staff.

Nathan Hale Inn looks incredible. The finest breakfast service and walking distance to wirk for.

This hotel is right on the UConn campus making it super convenient for conferences and visits to campus. Very clean hotel & helpful, friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

I have been to Nathan Hale sevaral times and I really like the place. They have sports on on the TV, so one can watch the games. I personally used to watch soccer games here. The food items are mostly limited to burgers, wraps and sandwiches with some appetizers but they are well made and taste pretty good.

A number of rooms are used for on-campus housing for students. The room is a good size for 3 people but closet space is limited. Other than that, the Inn is suitable for events.

Went for breakfast and had a lovely time. I was surprised this was hidden away in the middle of the UConn campus. The food was a bit expensive for what it was but it was certainly good.

I ate at both restaurants, which have the same menu but different settings. The hotel itself is incredibly nice.

The hotel is right on the U Conn campus and is very convenient. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was super comfortable. The staff was really nice and courteous.

My husband, 5 year old, and I stayed here during a conference in which my husband was attending. The staff at this hotel has been very friendly. We had some issues in that we thought we would be getting a king bed, however we ended up with 3 dorm style twin beds. However, we weren't sure where the communication issue was because the rooms were booked by someone else at his work. The hotel was booked all week, so we could not switch rooms. The hotel staff was very apologetic and gave us complementary breakfasts. We made due with the inconvenience and it was fine. The room was quiet, we did not hear anyone all week. Although it is a dated hotel, it was very clean. There is a small indoor pool, which ranges from 3ft to 5ft. The whirlpool is no longer available, as some older pictures online show. There is a small fitness room with a treadmill, elliptical, free weights, and a few other machines. They are gym quality. There are two restaurants however they don't seem to be open at the same time. One seems to focus on breakfast and lunch, and the other afternoon and dinner. I would recommend this hotel, especially for location to the campus.

Beautiful, comfortable, rooms very clean, personal really friendly, housekeeping personal so nice, I'll stay here again, love it.

The building is kept very clean both inside and in the gardens and sidewalks. Directions to various social events are clear and extremely useful. The time it took for a food order to reach the guests was longer than expected, although the food was well prepared and delicious, the waiting time could be faster.

People were very nice and helpful. Construction made getting around difficult. No complementary breakfast, or in room microwave or fridge. Room was clean and comfortable.

Decent but nothing special. Rooms are clean, spacious. Slowest elevator I've ever taken.

It was fine but I couldn't find the list of TV channels so I had to click through to find TNT.

I'm a UConn student living as a resident in the Nathan Hale inn. For the price bracket, it's undoubtedly the best housing choice, if you can get it. The rooms are triples, TV and microwave are provided, each room has a private bathroom and heat/AC. The only complaint I have is that the rooms don't have recessed lighting, so make sure you bring a lamp or two.

The people who work there are really welcoming; they have even memorized my name and always welcome me.

The staff was very professional and friendly. Everything is clean. The nights were quiet so the rooms must be well insulated. The workout room was way too small though; only two people can be present and even in this case, it is a little disturbing. For everything else, everything was perfect!

Wonderful hotel, had a great little sports bar, the food was amazing! The service all around was pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable! They had a great pool that is very kid friendly. I enjoyed my experience and it was worth the slightly extra cost! Please being on the Uconn campus allowed me to show my children all the places I went as a student!

The staff at the Nathan hale is very friendly and helpful. I have booked multiple events at the hotel and it is always a pleasure working with their staff. I would highly recommend this venue.

200.00 a night for a king size bed that is hard as a rock. Tiny flat screen TV with cable that goes in and out. And have been raving all week about being able to use hot tub. Only to find out the jets are not working. Andvthe paint on wallsvaround tun and pool coming off. This was suppose to be a great anniversary night. Very unhappy customer.

We stayed here, as our daughter is a student at UConn, and we needed to visit her on campus. There are really not any other hotels less than 35 minutes away. We loved our stay. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, food was delicious, and service outstanding. We were very sorry to hear that UConn will be taking this entire hotel over and using it all for more dorm space. With plenty of open space for building, they should build more dorms and leave this lovely hotel available to visiting families.
