Very nice place and quiet place.

Love the serenity of the Atrium! Having the feeling of an outdoor garden with indoor comfort is simply fantastic.

This property has received Covid related bailout money and has yet to rehire all their former employees and provide proper service at this hotel. We have 90 guests booked there for a nearby wedding and planned on hosting an after party there in their lobby/ atrium at their bar. BUT can you believe that their bar is still closed?! All because they REFUSE to rehire all their laid off employees and provide the proper service for their guests and reopen their lobby bar!

Charging rates between $300-$600 per night and yet there are no amenities. No valet, no lobby bar or restaurant, nothing. Ridiculous! Everything else is wide open. Shopping, bars and restaurants so why aren't you getting your workers back to work? Shameful. Do better Hyatt!

Been staying here when we are in Old Greenwich for many years and we still love it here. Wonderful staff. Clean comfortable rooms. Pet friendly. Beautiful atrium. And love the fruit infused water available near the elevators.

Paper thin walls, room never made up, coffee maker didn’t work and wasn’t replaced after reporting twice, mediocre at best food, & one valet guy on a Saturday night (I asked for a cab, he sent a relative in an Uber).

The amenities are very nice at this place. The gym, compared to others, is in nice condition. The breakfast options are decent. However, this hotel gave us the wrong type of room originally (we paid for a room with a view of the inside courtyard and got the outside instead). Also, the hotel is not very soundproof. I can hear the wedding reception and any people walking down the hall very easily.

Very clean room on 4th floor. Bathroom could use an exhaust fan as room is extremely steamy after showers. Breakfast at Winfield's is always top notch and so is the friendly staff. The botanical lobby is beautiful and having drinks and breakfast is a real treat. $15 a day to park in the hotel parking lot is super low class and cheesy. This tacky shake-down factor alone brings affects the overall rating, but hey, it's Greenwich.

Excellent staff and great stay as always! we love their apple tart ala mode here! beds are very comfortable, cozy room, spacious! indoor pool rocks! Great food selection!

Great amenities and fun lobby! Excellent business hotel with every need you can think of. Rooms were great and spacious. Cons: AC wasn't very powerful and vent points right at the desk. There's only one elevator lobby for a very long want to some times. Pros: EVERYTHING that!

Hyatt Regency Greenwich is one of the nicer hotels in Ct. I was relieved to check out of one misleading hotel and lay my sights on this one. It’s pretty pretty big and my first impression was of an old mansion in pristine condition. Upon entrance, I felt as if I was walking into a tropical forest with all the greenery but then there was an indoor pool, fitness center, ball rooms, dining, etc… pretty much everything you need under one roof for a night of comfortable relaxation. The room was nice and clean without stained carpet and more importantly NO HISTORY of “Bed Bugs” which is a pretty big deal in this day in time. You have to be extra careful of where you stay/sleep when traveling and I highly recommend. The only draw back would be, you have to pay to park (even as a paid guest) which is something pretty much unheard in most parts South Carolina.

We've been coming here for years, but the place is getting tired. There are no USB ports in the rooms, totally inadequate make-up lighting, no microwave or freezer in the rooms. Frankly, we were more comfortable at Hilton Gardens and Marriott Towne Place Suites where the only difference we were aware of was that we had to roll our own suitcases to our room. They has swimming pools/gyms and a darn good bacon/egg breakfast AND they had USB ports, microwaves and freezers!

A beautiful hotel with excellent service from start to finish. Greeted at reception with complimentary champagne! Delicious coffee and donuts offered in the morning. Very clean, room was nice but not luxurious. Parking is a bit challenging as they also host lots of events, plus they charge guests $15 extra per night to park in hotel lot.

Dirty room. Tricky pet policy with hot wire booking. We showed up to this pet friendly hotel and Sabrina the supervisor demanded $100 for the pet. Telling me most hotels charge for pets. That's not true. We just stayed in a pet friendly in upstate NY with no extra charge. We don't mind if they charge extra for a pet, just tell us in advance. Not when we show up at midnight.

I remember this place opening when I was a kid and enjoying the cool garden restaurant. I haven't been here in 35 years and I don't think anything has been upgraded. The AC is a trickle in the room. The charge you for parking at $15 per day, and the furniture and fixtures are not that nice. They charge for high speed internet and on demand video is $19 each. A throw back to when hotels charged for everything, but without the sense of real luxury due to the old and outdated facility.

ADA wheelchair accessible room. Only thing great about it was the bathroom. The biggest issue is that the bed is lower to the ground. This isn't helpful when you are in a wheelchair and cannot stand, you need to be able to transfer easily to a bed at a similar height. The room was a bit outdated, television very small and dirty. Air was at 65 but it was still very warm in the room. The room was also outside the vending machines and you could here every person in that area plus the kids crying and yelling up and down the hallway.

Whilst the hotel itself looks nice (the atrium is very pleasant), the service in the hotel is shocking, and extremely slow. Food and beverage options in the restaurants/bar were very poor — in fact the breakfast here was one of the worst I have ever tasted in a hotel. The hotel is very poorly laid out (only one lift bank serving the whole huge hotel) so it can sometimes be a very long walk to your room. Request a room near the elevator in advance if you prefer a shorter walk. I have stayed in many business hotels and this is certainly one of the worst — I would recommend looking seriously at other alternative options before booking here.

Worst food allergy dinner experience ever. Yes I have food allergies, no I don’t want a salad. I am offered salad constantly. Not one entree is gluten free or dairy free. So I end up with a salad and was served two halves of a head of iceberg lettuce topped with frozen corn and balsamic and vinegar. Apparently every dressing, bacon, and egg are all not options if gluten and dairy free. I was still charged $15 for the salad, if you can call it that. I suggested maybe …I could have bread with my meal and was offered none. I ate plain wings which were over cooked and sauces were not an option for me despite three choices. At breakfast we found out you offered gf rolls and bread. Either the kitchen and waitstaff are poorly trained or very lazy. Our morning service was great with a knowledgeable server and designated gf toasters and multiple options for bread, muffin, bagels, etc. There is no excuse for what happened and at a facility this size it is appalling to have had such limited and horrible options. I can read a menu and create options for myself based on ingredients in the kitchen anywhere I go if the staff are willing… With you breakfast items I made wilted spinach with eggs over easy on gF toast topped with yellow tomato, bacon, capers, drizzled with olive oil. Delicious and beautiful.

Been going here for conferences for years. Service is always great and they've updated the rooms and hallways a great deal. Lots of space if you have large events and they gave a unique lobby area that resembles a stream surrounded by trees and rocks. Check the photos online and you'll see what I mean. Its fine, nothing bad, just thought I'd call it out as it is unique to this hotel.

So nice here! Wish we could’ve stayed longer. The rooms are very clean and nice. There is a bar and beautiful sitting area with little ponds and trees all around. The pool is very nice too. Will definitely be coming back here to stay.

The hotel was simply gorgeous! Rooms were spacious and clean and very comfortable. My only qualms were the lack of microwave and coffee maker in the room. The wonderful water features at the ground floor makes me definitely want to revisit. I really enjoyed my stay.

This is the 3rd time I've stayed here. The rooms are immaculate and the indoor garden with water falls and plenty of tropical trees and cozy sofas strategically placed within, make this a fantastic getaway even if it's snowing outside! It's not expensive and their breakfast buffet is wonderful. I was least impressed with not being able to locate the vending and ice machine on the 3rd floor, and when I asked two different staff members they also did not know where it was. I had to go to the concierge on the main level who told me exactly where the vending machine was on my floor. When I found it, it was out of order…

Thank you for reaching out, I would like to point out some issues I encountered staying at your hotel.
I booked in on Monday 29th for one night using my Hyatt card which I am a dedicated member of and use Hyatt worldwide on a regular basis.
I had asked for a quiet room as I had an early call, so was placed away from the elevator, unfortunately I was placed next to the boilers which sounded like a jet engine/plane flying overhead, but they were permanently below me on the roof of your building.
The second night I checked in again giving the hotel a second chance on Tuesday 30th, given you had such a nice pool and where close to my necessary location. This time I was given a small room, it was lacking robes and overlooked the same view, I asked for a different room, and was given a room overlooking the inner courtyard, this time after relaxing unpacking and pulling back the sheets realized the bed was missing sheets, as well as no robes/or slippers. I called again and was moved to another room on the other side of the courtyard. This room I had to call for robes and slippers, your housekeeping was very short with me, even though I had explained that unfortunately I had to be moved and so was indeed the same guest asking for the same things but in another room.
The next morning I had to call for coffee facilities, I was unaware that the needed to be a request, I was lead to believe this was one of the basic room amenities?

Stayed two nights at this hotel and was pleased with the experience. The hotel itself is lovely with a very nice indoor atrium with beautiful trees and plants. The room was average perhaps a little dated but nice and well appointed. We had breakfast in the lobby and while the food was good the service was very poor with not one waiter checking on the table. Overall id stay here again and recommend it.

Hot tub and pool were dirty with hair floating around. Wasn't staying just visiting our family in town. Everything else seemed great.

High-end hotel in Old Greenwich between I-95 exits 5 and 6. Large natural atrium with a bar and restaurant. Large amount of meeting space, good sized rooms and fitness center. Both valet and self parking (sometimes free). Constructed out of the old Condé Nast printing press retaining the original staircase, so also a nice historical perspective.

Was in New York for work and needed a hotel where I could park my tractor trailer while staying there. It is a little tight, but if you are a good driver, there is no real issue. I had my dog with me and she was received very well by the staff, who were courteous and friendly. The only complaint I would have is that I sat at the restaurant downstairs for a half an hour without being served, so I just returned to my room and paid a little more for room service, which was very prompt. The food was also delicious.

A fine place to stay but I was very disappointed with the front desk as we tried to check in. We arrived quite early after a long flight and inquired about possible early openings. We were asked to leave and call at 9:30 which we did. We called and were then told perhaps 11:30. They promised to call us if a room became available. As it turns out, we did not get a room until 3:00pm — normal check-in time. We later found out that other guests were able to check-in before 11:30… We were never called. Moral of the story: be pushy and/or rude and you might get what you want, be nice and you will likely be ignored. Not my type of place!

I went for a business trip and the room was pretty clean, one lamp had stains and dirt on it, but the room was larger than I expected. Environment was laid back but at the same time professional, I went to eat near the bar and there was no host when the receptionists advised there was one. I waited for about 5 mins then just left to go somewhere else. There was some event going on in the parking lot so I had to park in the back, but didn't mind the walk.

We booked a room the night before when we knew we needed to break up our trip. Super fancy! Steven met us as we parked our car, I'm not used to that caliber of service. Nice clean room. I just wish they had been more clear about the restaurants in the main atrium level. We ended up eating the more expensive high end restaurant when we wanted lighter fare.

Beautiful indoor atrium at the center of the hotel. Highly recommend getting a room that overlooks it. We got some appetizers and drinks at the bar. The chicken wings were amazing. Very peaceful setting with the running water of the indoor stream.

Hotel itself was great. However, their housekeeping team isn't to be trusted. I called 30 minutes after I left the hotel (5am) because I left this sign for my son in my room accidently. When housekeeping called me back at 11am, they could find this 1ft by 4ft sign which was laying flat next the t. V. I find it hard to believe this wasn't found as it cannot grow legs and disappear on its own. Rather it was torn apart and thrown away because your housekeeping doesn't care about the guests. I never got a call back or anything to tell me what was the end result. Be wary to let housekeeping into your room… you may lose your belongings… Also, the ceiling in the bathrooms had mold. No ventilation for the humidity to escape, which is not a smart bathroom design.

The Hyatt Regency Greenwich's accommodations are astonishing. The main atrium is gorgeous and the gazebo bar and lounge are sights to behold, nestled into their own indoor gardenscape compete with a running steam. The rooms are clean, spacious, and modern. My stay was short, but quite pleasant.

We are here for a travel trade show. As soon as you walk into the main entrance gorgeous elegant 10 * thumbs up. I highly recommend this place have not checked out the rooms yet but judging from the detail work you see when you first walk in I know they will be great.

The valet was great. Front desk was very helpful with finding us an ADA compliant room without being asked which was appreciated. The pool was hard to find since there are no signs. The bed wasn't that comfortable, surprisingly. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is beautiful with its signature garden in the middle with a stream running through. The room is clean and spacious although water pressure is little weak. Also, the weekday breakfast buffet was very good at $20. I might come back to try their brunch on Sunday. I will definitely stay here again.

Nice and clean hotel with friendly staff. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast and dinner there as well. Tyson (General Manager of the hotel) has been also very caring and proactively followed up with me of my experience at the hotel. My room was a bit noisy due to being too close to the lobby and restaurants and he helped with transferring me to a quieter room fast (Thanks again Tyson! ). All in all, happy with the experience.

Beautiful, but awful stay. Stuck next to noisy elevator with drunk wedding guests carrying on all night. Paper thin walls allowed us to hear every word of our neighbors fight. Barking dog across the hall. And lastly the linens and shower curtain wreaked of mildew. So disappointed and dissatisfied. Told staff about it all and they could not care less.

Great bed soft and comfortable but the pillows went flat very easily. The hotel was beautiful and the little things were excellent scope and toothpaste. Would certainly stay again.

This place has clean and modern accomadation. The lounge area is beautiful and the breakfast package is good value. We had awful service from the staff, however, and we were held for 4 hours of waiting period because the "system is down. " Not acceptable.

Wow it was such an amazing hotel to have a nice Memorial Day weekend with my kids! Customer service was amazing! The room we got was a double bed which was really great for the four of us! The room was clean, no bed begs (we checked so don't worry the hotel is clean) and the room had many outlets for our electronic devices! There are many things to do here! There is a small movie theater which me my wife and kids enjoyed watching The Avengers movie! The pool was excellent! Our family enjoyed it with pool toys and wasn't that deep for my children! The pool is open until 11:00 pm so we stayed there for a few hours having fun. The hot tub was a bit small but it was luxurious and relaxing away from work! Went to the fitness center which is a plus and it is open 24 hours! Free water, cold towels and bathrooms adjacent to the fitness center was also a plus! The restaurant was a little bit pricy but food was great! Free breakfast buffet was great as well! There is also a new arcade place in the back of the hotel where my kids had a blast! There was only one con and that was the free Wi-Fi was very slow and unusable. Had to use LTE instead. Overall I am very happy that our weekend getaway went smooth and my kids and wife were happy! I would totally recommend this hotel even for a night stay!

Pretty good. Service levels really depend on day of the week and who you speak to. Shuttle services are below expectations and hard to come by — automating the shuttle request or scheduling regular trips to downtown would help.

The room was nice, but EVERYTHING was an additional fee, including bottles of water ($5! ) Also, no option was given to allow us to maintain our towel for a second use.

Convention center feel in pretentious setting without the quality to back it up. Quarters are stale, old and architecturally regressive. Customer service is arthritic and incompetent. Far better options in Greenwich.

It was beautiful and clean. The service was amazing! The website we booked the hotel claimed it was a 4 star hotel but it honestly seemed even better!

Great hotel with clean and updated rooms. The center of the hotel has a large conservatory with a cafe for breakfast and lunch. In the mornings there is also complementary coffee by the elevators. Would absolutely recommend.

Great hotel in a great location. I was there for 4 days for a training class. Comfortable beds, good sized rooms. Plenty of parking places good food and a nice bar in the middle of the hotel.

Rooms were clean and well kept. Truly enjoyed my stay.

It's a nice hotel. $25 a person for breakfast is a rip off, but they provided complimentary champagne and chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine's day. Would recommend for a romantic getaway.

Location is amazing. The atrium is amazing. Front desk service has been average. But most of the staff have been amazing too.

The Hyatt Regency is a beautiful hotel. The room is very nice and has a good amount of space. This hotel is large and some rooms are very far from the elevator. There is a hug area in the center of the hotel with a garden. The staff is nice and helpful.

Beautiful facility. Great for brunch. Plenty of parking. Lots of construction going around so parking is limited to the back always plenty of nice events like weddings. Beautiful main lobby.

A nice hotel where you get greeted by George Dimitratos, a very nice gentleman, who even worked the shuttle service to take us to town and back. At the front desk everyone was cheerful and nice, especially Pam. Pam kept checking on us and helped us with our daily town trips and found us good restaurants. Clean rooms and nice atmosphere. We weren't charged any parking nor Wifi, we stayed the Columbus day weekend. We will definitely come back again.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times, and I think it is very nice. I would recommend it. It is not a new property but it is kept up. The only comment I have is you have to request a coffee pot for your room. The staff is very nice and accommodating, and I know in the future I will probably be staying here.

Shoes were left in room. An hour later, no one could find them. Stealing from guests, real cool.

My Wife and I enjoyed our stay. To be fair we only stayed in the hotel as a launching to NYC. The hotel was clean and quiet. We never sampled the food, although it did appear pricey.

I have stayed here twice so far. Both times the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi is NOT included in the price and neither is parking, but both times I stayed here I bought Groupon vouchers that included the room as well as internet and parking for a reasonable deal. The atrium is a nice feature, and the staff was very friendly.

Seems that of you stay here you plan on sleeping as weddings trump guest's and under age drinking and pounding music are more important.

This was not a great stay at all. First of all parking is $10. Our room was so far away from the elevator it quickly became a hassle just to get downstairs, especially with 2 babies. The only thing nice is the pool and the nice garden like decorations. There is NO complementary breakfast, just a rip off meal available. I deeply regret reserving 2 nights here. After the 1st night at 9am, I called to see if I can cancel and get my points back for the next night but of course they said no. Will never come again.

Disappointed for the price you pay they should have basic stuff, like free Wi-Fi and high definition tv's. Plus parking was extra as well. They have large conference/banquet halls, which were packed with an Indian wedding that last 3 days and overflow crowds in the hallways. Also they held intervention meetings w/ people from local churches. The elevator is in one corner of the hotel, and the hallways are so long I started taking the stairs after the first day. I wouldn't recommend this place for the price. I'm sure there are better hotels nearby that include all of the above for a lower price.

Their brunch is unreal. So good. Nice a nice meal and so filling as you can have pastas made for you to your liking, and so many options. The rooms are good! The pool is nice. The bar is ok too. The place is utilized for many events with good outcomes and meetings.

There were numerous large groups or conventions there. These make money for the hotel but the hotel guests weren't protected from them. There was a prom and a bar mitzva one night. The parking was almost completely taken. I was lucky but normally you'd have to walk from the far end of the lot. They could have had reserved some parking for guests. Unlike the info in the hotel directory the restaurant was closed due to the Democratic Governors' (I think governors) convention. I was also told it wasn't open every day, despite info in the directory. The food that was available was mediocre at best. Call ahead to avoid conventions and other such mass gatherings. The rooms were nice. I recommend you try to get a room near the elevators since the building is very spread out.
