If you are looking for a beautiful place to spend some time on your getaway, look no further. I got married on March 20th and decided to stay here for the few days leading up to and a couple days after the wedding with my now husband and we had the most beautiful stay. Natasha, the Innkeeper does a wonderful job at being accommodating and making you feel welcome. She even left some flowers in our room on the nightstand because she knew we were there for our wedding.
We stayed in the Kennedy Room and could not have asked for a more beautiful room to spend time in. From the comfortable king bed and big windows for natural light during the day to the bathroom which featured a 2 person jacuzzi bath tub as well as a stand up shower. Because we were in the main house, we also got to enjoy the complimentary breakfast made by Natasha every morning. It started with a parfait with assorted chopped fruits topped with granola and honey, then moved on to eggs with bacon, and the third course changed throughout the few days we were there from crepes, pancakes, waffles, and toast. Everything was delicious and left you feeling ready to start your day.
I highly recommend staying here!

From the second you walk into the establishment you are welcomed like you are home. It was super clean and beautifully preserved. Natasha the Inn keeper is super friendly and eager to assist in your every need to make you feel welcomed. The rooms are very clean and beautifully furnished. Breakfast every morning is very good and you don't walk away hungry. A must stay if you are in the area!

Amazing place. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are well decorated with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious.

Beautifully restored house. Immaculate woodwork, and elegant design. It’s a real privilege to stay in the room where Marilyn Monroe stayed, all those years ago. Place has a lot of history and renowned guests.

The Homestead is so warm and welcoming. We walked to the Little Theatre, to dinner in town and we enjoyed the shops and the people! The Inn is like having a home on the Green.

I stayed at this establishment for the second time this year, and it did not disappoint! The staff is beyond accommodating — huge shout out to Brian! The rooms are very clean, well appointed, and charming yet modernized — still keeping the quaint feel of an “Inn. ” I will continue to stay at Homestead Inn at any time I am in the area. On top of everything else, the prices are quite reasonable for the quality of the facility. It’s is truly special nowadays to stay somewhere that still caters to customer service.

A perfect place for a relaxing stay, close to everything on the New Milford Green, with a wonderful staff that goes above and beyond. You really feel like you're home.

I was SO happy to find Homestead Inn to stay at the last minute last week. What an amazing and beautiful place you have! The breakfast was incredible and our check in process was very smooth. We rented two rooms and both were very cozy and felt like home. We have family in the area and will definitely stay here again!

Great time staying at the Homestead Inn. The place is charming, well maintained, very clean and quiet. The Inn keepers are very nice, and amazing breakfast is freshly made for each guest :) Coffee, tee, bottled water and sodas are complementary and available all day long. The location is great, you are within few minutes walking distance from the downtown that has surprising amount of dining options. And a few parks and trails are within a short drive. I would highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful couple of nights at the Homestead Inn, the whole Inn is beautifully decorated and the breakfasts were truely delicious. We had travelled from the UK but are already thinking that we'll have to return to the Homestead Inn for a longer stay.

Nice place with inn style room optyin addition to the bed and breakfast house. Great place to stay if you want an easy walk in to the town of New Milford. Near local restaurants and nice green space. Enjoyed our quick stop in this town.

Stayed in motel units. Found out at check in that we were not welcome to brunch as their table wasn't large enough. That was dumbest explanation. I thought we had brunch included in our price as it is call a bed and breakfast. Also left hair brush I unit one under sink, but it was never found. Makes me question if they clean the bathrooms. Killed large and in bathroom. Fellow guests had spiders.

We loved our stay here. The perfect taste of small town Connecticut especially for Gilmore Girls fans. It’s a beautifully renovated inn that is spotless and cozy. Bob and Renee are great at what they do. Wonderful hospitality, lots of nice extra touches topped by a delicious breakfast. They even made it snow! Well maybe not, but they made sure our car was cleaned off and we could get out from the six inch snow that none of us expected. We’ll be back.

My husband and I stayed over the Thanksgiving weekend 2017. Beautiful place, very clean, and the food was very good. A convenient place to stay close to my son and his wife. Bob and Renee were nice. I wasn't crazy about having to give an exact time for breakfast each evening though I understand why that might be necessary. I also didn't feel we had much privacy. I am also really sad that we never got our picture that was taken by Renee and promised to be sent in an email.

This was an amazing place and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a wonderful night away. It started by Bob and Renee bringing our bags up to the room and it was so much fun learning about the history of the inn itself while being toured around the property. The room itself was absolutely stunning. There was a binder telling us all about the attractions near New Milford, such as hiking, lakes, and other opportunities. Everything was beautifully kept, and it was so peaceful and relaxing, and when we were a bit hungry before dinner, there were warm cookies or coffee/tea downstairs for all of the guests. Renee personally made a reservation for us at a local Italian restaurant, and the location of the inn was perfect walking distance into the town of New Milford. The breakfast in the morning was amazing — personally made croissant french toast, eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, cinnamon apples, and 4 types of juices and coffee. After breakfast, the we spent some time playing chess and reading in the great common room, which was extremely peaceful and well decorated. The entire stay was fabulous, and Bob and Renee were extremely attentive, warm and lovely hosts. I would highly suggest staying here if you are staying anywhere near New Milford!

Stayed in the Inn in the Monroe room. The entire experience was amazing and I would highly recommend. The innkeepers Bob and Renee were very knowledgable about the area and make your entire stay pleasant and inviting. Each breakfast was different and delicious. Hot cocoa, coffee, and tea always on hand for the cold spell we happened to be visiting during. The room felt luxe and modern and the bed was very comfortable. This was the best B&B experience I’ve ever had!

This historic inn was recently renovated to bring out the full charm of the original building and upgrade to modern amenities… the result is fantastic. Our stay was wonderful and I would strongly recommend!

The Homestead Inn B&B was a luxurious 2 night stay in the town of New Milford. My mom and I enjoyed a girls weekend with the help of Renee's local suggestions for a fun time out-and-about on the town. We took in waterfalls, antiquing, and a great selection of restaurants, a walkable distance from the Inn. Bob's breakfasts and coffee each morning were delicious and quite filling. We both enjoyed them immensely! Overall, our stay with Bob and Renee was all that we could have asked for and the Homestead Inn has some great history the innkeepers shared. Also, the recent renovations were gorgeous and make the B&B feel extravagant, yet quite comfortable!

We stayed 6/30-7/2/17 in the Sherman room. The room was extremely clean and nicely decorated. Bob and Renee (Innkeepers) go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. They certainly enhanced our trip with their vast knowledge of the area and suggestions of things to see, etc. The breakfast was wonderful. The Inn has been completely renovated and is very clean, quaint and comfortable. The location is perfect.

If you're booking through a third-party, make sure you clarify whether you're in the main house or an adjacent motel room on their property when the staff calls to confirm your check-in time. My husband and I would have upgraded our room to the inn for the true B&B experience had we known we booked a motel room initially. The room was nice, and we loved the heated bathroom and comfortable bed, but we felt mislead by their listing on Expedia.

The rooms are very nice. The staff are excellent. There is an extra charge for breakfast if you are outside the main house.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Homestead Inn for a two-night getaway with my daughter. Innkeepers Bob and Renee welcomed us into this charming B&B that has all the historic qualities one can appreciate with renovated accommodations that are quite luxurious. The Kennedy Room has a king size bed that was super comfortable and five-star linens. The bathroom was spacious. I liked the white tiled flooring, but the shower/bath area was magnificent. In addition to a shower, this room features a jacuzzi tub for relaxing and soaking. Now, onto the scrumptious breakfasts we had. Chef Bob prepared his signature almond strawberry waffles the first morning and eggs benedict the second. Both were delicious. Bob also knows how to brew a good, strong cup of coffee just the way I like it. We appreciated Renee helping us with our itinerary. We enjoyed the local activities, her restaurant recommendations, and had fun getting to know the area. No trip to New Milford is complete without staying at the Homestead Inn. Our stay was delightful and our breakfast was one to remember. This place is more than highly recommended by my daughter and myself.

The Homestead Inn is a beautiful and comfortable getaway. Bob and Renee are the heart of this inviting place. I highly recommend this place to everyone and I'd love to come back sometime!

The place is very nice, cozy and clean. Great location for New Milford and is walking distance to the little downtown area. The owner recommended various restaurants that were all great!

My friend and I stayed at the Homestead Inn a few weeks ago, and it is truly the best place I've ever stayed. Our room and the enitre inn were beautiful and comfortable, our breakfasts were excellent and the innkeepers, Bob and Renee, truly are wonderful people. I can't imagine anyone being more welcoming, considerate or accommodating. The Homestead Inn really sets the bar high. I highly recommend anyone visiting western Connecticut book a room (I'm partial to the Monroe) for your stay. I can't wait to visit again!

The room was quiet, though very small. The hosts were really friendly. Breakfast does not accompany every room, but one can find a meal in town.

I think that if you stay in the house the overall experience will be good. We stayed in a trailer that is part of the property, though, and for this reason it was kind of awkward. I don't recommend it, in part because it has a very cramped bathroom, but mostly because it doesn't feel like a B&B. You will save a few nickels, if that's of prime concern. I should point out that the owners are very nice and accommodating, and I would stay with them again, but only in the house.

I didn't stay there just saw from the outside. Housed a member of our creative team. They were great to deal with when planning.

The Homestead Inn just reopened. I was one of the first guests. Everything is new and beautifully redecorated. The staff is wonderful. Innkeepers Bob and Renee did a wonderful job. Rooms are updated and everything is brand new, even the mattresses. They shared all the details of the history of the Inn and the historic renovation that was just completed. There is a lot of interesting history. I received a tour of the entire Inn. The Marylin Monroe room and Kennedy rooms were amazing.
