Beautiful rooms, perfect location, restaurant was great.

Very quaint and comfortable! The hostess who checked us in was very helpful and knowledgeable. To top it off she was nice! We stopped for one night (we are traveling on a motorcycle and there was no judgement) and she made sure to let us know about the area. Also a young man stopped in the parking lot and asked if we had any questions. It was refreshing. Love this place already.

We had a wonderful stay here! The hotel is beautifully decorated, clean and very cozy. Close to everything you’d want to do in Mystic. Fantastic staff! We will definitely be returning here as one of our yearly weekend getaways.

Conveniently located in the city. Short walk to some amazing restaurants. Very clean & nice staff! The only down side is that it is right on Main Street and you can hear some street noise. It’s a small price to pay for the convenient location in my opinion. It didn’t impede my sleep at all, I would come back in a heart beat!

Our stay was nothing shy of amazing. Gorgeous view of the drawbridge, spotless and adorable room, attentive staff … simply perfect!

This is a really nice place but there are some head-scratching design choices and experiences that made it frustrating. Pedestal sinks: pretty in your home, bad when you have to spread out all your travel stuff on a tiny sink surface AND share that with your spouse. One bar of soap was available for the bathroom (for both the sink and shower). The shower was tiny and had had really low water pressure. The room was nice… pretty standard but with good design choices pulled from the feel of the town. If you rent bikes here, be aware that you can either get your money refunded when you return the bikes BUT you are "offered" the option to donate it for the upkeep of the bikes (which are not well maintained). The staff is friendly and helpful.

What a fabulous hotel — everything was perfect. We stayed Labor Day Weekend and you couldn't ask for a better room or location! We took the Mystic River Cruise by Captain Eric and it was lovely! We celebrated our wedding in Mystic Labor Day Weekend and we can't wait to go back!

The Whaler's Inn is a beautiful place right off the heart of Mystic. It's not on the main strip of stores, but at the corner. It is a calm and quiet place. The hotel lobby, grounds, and rooms are beautifully decorated. I honestly didn't want to leave the room. Every piece of furniture adds to the story of the place. The hotel lobby always has complimentary coffee and teas. Our room at the 1865 house had a Keurig with teas and coffee. The hotel lobby has fresh baked cookies in the afternoon, and boasts the handiwork of many local businesses. The soaps provided by the hotel are of a superior quality. The service is great, and the staff is incredibly friendly. We can't wait to come back again.

New decor, great location! Nice restaurant with complimentary continental breakfast. Tiny bathroom and loud air handler are the down falls for better rating.

Went for a conference. Very friendly and supportive staff, good facilities. Great location, easy walking distance to downtown and Mystic Pizza. I plan to return to stay in the near future…

My husband and I thought the Inn was adorable (and of course super clean) The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. I love that they put out fresh baked cookies every night for their guests and always have fresh hot coffee and tea in the lobby (cute little touch)! They were so helpful in creating a great little list of all different types of places to eat/drink at to accommodate everyone’s needs! The inn is centrally located and you could basically walk everywhere! The town was so adorable, we had such a great time we look forward to coming back.

They did a good job renovation. Staff will take good care of you. Very comfortable beds. Bathrooms need exhaust fans. The atmousohere is perfect for Mystic.

My family and I stayed at The Whaler’s Inn for one night in the Noank House. The room was bright, airy, spacious and comfortable! My daughters loved the Netflix on TV before bed (so cool! ). They also asked to hang out in the lobby a bunch — it’s where they have the best chewy chocolate chip cookies to eat by the fireplace. We truly enjoyed our stay — from the chocolate truffles on our arrival to the continental breakfast at Bravo Bravo, the Whaler’s Inn is the best place to stay in Mystic!

My husband and I loved the hotel and our room! We had suite and it was absolutely beautiful! From the huge four poster bed, gas fireplace, huge bathroom and view of the drawbridge! It had a small fridge and Keurig coffee maker. The hotel: Breakfast buffet is very nice We enjoyed the frittata, hard boiled eggs and yogurt. They also had oatmeal, cereal and pastries along with juices, coffee and tea. In the lobby they have a coffee and tea (hot cocoa) bar with fresh cookies. I loved being able to grab a to-go cup and enjoy hot tea while we walked around. The staff were so kind and helpful and made the stay that much more enjoyable. We came to Mystic for a great touristy reason: Mystic Pizza! It did not disappoint and it's only a 10 minute (leisurely) walk. We went to the Ancient Mariner for lunch and would highly recommend. I would definately come back again and stay here! We walked all over the area and fell in love with the town. (Where else can you walk by a pub at 1130pm and have everyone standing outside say hello to us as we walked past? ) Deserves 10 stars!

Perfect for a romantic weekend getaway! The Inn was beautiful, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, and the room was so cozy I had to drag my girlfriend out of bed as she LOVED how comfy it was. The location was walking distance to everything and the the complementary chocolates were great too. The only suggestions I have for them to provide two luggage stands as one is not enough and the guests end up using a chair for their luggage. Also a list of local wine would be nice as well. Other than that I highly recommend this in. Oh yes and it wasn’t an arm and a leg to stay there! Bravo Whaller’s Inn!

We absolutely loved staying here. It is in walking distance to everything, the hotel is super clean, and the staff is extremely friendly. Any issue we had the staff was courteous and quick to fix.

Exceptionally clean. We stayed at the Hoxie House which was newly renovated. The bathroom was beautiful, everything brand new including a jacuzzi tub—Which we enjoyed since the weather was cold, snowy and rainy. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Ate at Bravo Bravo… food was excellent! Service was wonderful.

My boyfriend and I stayed here in November. The staff were very nice and informative. The free breakfast was okay, nothing great but it's free and cheaper than the expensive breakfast places around mystic. Overall, the room was nice. Small and the bayhroom smaller. The shower took about 5 minutes to warm up. No mini fridge in the rooms. Not strong ventilation in the bathroom. Construction was going on so parking was a bit tough. Overall, we loved our experience at the whalers inn, close to a lot of nearby shops and restaurants and would stay here again.

Cute hotel right in the center of town. Def best spot to stay if you are going to mystic. Not giving 5 stars because amenities are somewhat dated, you have to remember to lock your own hotel room door, and the fire alarm also blasted us awake at 8AM sat morning. Otherwise I will still stand by it being the best place to stay in mystic.

The Whaler's Inn is right across the street from the drawbridge. Location is perfect! We are currently in the Home House section of the hotel. No elevator, but beautiful room that is very spacious and clean. I love coming here and I am a repeat customer.

We experienced a wonderful stay here during our first visit to Mystic, Connecticut. Their location couldn't be any more perfect. Small walk from the train station. They are right on Main Street, near the entrance of the draw bridge facing the harbor. Pretty much, it felt like being right in the center of town and walking distance from most cafes/restaurants. In love with their decor. They were consistent throughout with the maritime theme (dominant colors being navy blue, white and yellow). Their lobby featured floor to ceiling windows and warm colors, cozy chairs and felt welcoming and cozy. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Their continental breakfast included wonderful baked goods from Sift bakery (where we stocked on on our last day). They had more variety than I expected (eggs, quiche, croissants, cookies) Our room (#38) was on their 3nd floor. The stairs were a little steep but we had no complaints. We had the luck of landing a corner room with great window views of life on Main Street. Our room was very spacious with lots of light. The bed was very comfortable with crisp and heavy linens. Bathroom was pristine white, good size. We had no issues with their Wi-Fi. The biggest draw about this place was that it wasn't hotel like. It was family-owned and seemed part of the Mystic community. The staff was tuned into what was going on and had great recommendations. Would certainly stay here on my next visit.

We enjoyed our stay, the staff was super helpful and everything was done by perfection. The breakfast is a bit small for the guests they had no scrambled eggs or waffles or pancakes. It was clean and I was impressed with the comfort of the beds. Walking distance to shopping dining and cafes. We will definitely stay here again. We had the upgraded room the bathroom was so clean and fresh and the tub was huge, it was also a Jacuzzi tube very hard to get in and out of if we were an elderly couple. One of the finer places I have stayed in for upgraded rooms. Thanks for the awesome visit.

Stayed here in mid July. The pro's first, great location. Parking in Mystic is next to impossible. The hotel is in the center of town… big plus. You can walk to everything. The beds are great and the room was very clean. The good part of the breakfast is that what they have is good. The bad is that they don't have much. If you're into spinach quiche you may love it, where I come from that's not breakfast. They have croissants and tiny little muffins that are good but that's about it. Con's, The hotel is expensive, with taxes it was over 250 a night. The room is small the bathroom is smaller. If you're over weight by a good bit, Don't stay here. You will not fit in the shower. The Wi-Fi in my room didn't work, the desk person said that they would look into it but never was fixed. Like they say, "NO Elevator. " You will be lugging suit cases up steps if you're located on an upper floor. That's about it, I've stayed in better and much worse places. Full disclosure, I'm overweight but no obese. I booked two days but only stayed one. I had a family emergency and lost the 250 for the second day, but I knew that going in so it's not sour grapes.

Kept passing by this place while in town for their boat parade. Everyone I've spoken to raved about this place and I wish I was able to stay there. Looked beautiful from the outside and the location can't be beat in downtown Mystic. Will def be returning.

This was our second time staying at the Whaler's Inn. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is in a great location, with plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance as well as being a short drive from Mystic seaport and aquarium. The hotel offers a continental breakfast (with pastries from a local bakery) as well as 24/7 complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby. Overall a really nice stay and experience and we look forward to our next visit.

We have stayed at the Whaler's Inn Hoxie House many times and enjoy the charm of the historic downtown Mystic. Walking distant to all shops and restaurants. The staff at the Whaler's Inn are very friendly and the room comfortable with a toasty fireplace and wonderful spa tub. Thanks for a relaxing weekend!

Excellent location, excellent facilities, excellent staff. The remodeled junior suite was a little tight for the price, but the accommodations were nice. Would stay again.

You can't get anymore into Mystic than the Whaler's Inne. Close to everything!

It is a nice hotel. We got a more expensive room and some of the features made it worth it. There was water damage to some of the walls and the ceiling. People were very nice and check in was a breeze. The breakfast in the morning was basic and simple. The room however was small because of the amount of people wandering around. Made it uncomfortable. I would stay again but not for the price I paid.

Absolutely charming hotel — fresh baked cookies in the lobby, wonderful atmosphere and right in downtown Mystic. The coziness of a bed and breakfast with quiet, lovely hotel quality rooms. Our daughter left her pajamas there and they mailed them to our home. Delightful experience — we will be back!.
