The wait staff for the wedding was amazing. Nicole made everything a breeze and our bartender Steve was a step above the rest. Those 2 individuals Alone made this experience wonderful, not to mention the rest of the staff! Was a little bummed to find our brunch was not being served in the morning. However it was a great experience.

The staff were very well mannered and friendly. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The view was excellent and breathtaking.

Service was slow. It took a long time for our orders to be served. Yes, there was sufficient waitstaff. When my Cauliflower Steak with Tandoor Chickpeas came out (much later than the meals my dinner guests ordered, ) it was room temperature. I sent it back to be reheated. When it came back it had half the Tandoor Chickpeas and Rice as the original dish. The original dish the Cauliflower was basically swimming in the Chickpeas. I might add that the rest of my dinner group (we were a party of 4), also said their food was not at the appropriate temperature.
On the plus side, the view was nice.

We had dining reservations for Mother’s Day and there was a misunderstanding, based on what I had seen in their website, about the menu. They made special accommodation for us and made it right which many places would not have done. Excellent customer service. Beautiful location.

I took my family out there today to celebrate a few birthdays I just want to say thank you to the staff to all who work there what amazing job and I want to say thank you for all that you did today hospitality was above and beyond. Such a gorgeous place and such a beautiful beach definitely would recommend to anyone if there is such a thing as more than a five-star hotel you surpassed❤️

First spot to visit since covid and we were very satisfied and comfortable with how everything ran… Staff very accommodating and friendly. Even outside of hotel, the shops in town every where we went, things were handled very well … No complaints at all.

Great hotel to have a nice and quiet weekend. My room had a big balcony with a beautiful ocean view. Perfect for enjoying a glass of wine or read a book in the end of the day.

Although it's a little pricey, the food is amazing and views of LIS are beautiful. The hotel itself is very charming and the grounds and beach are very well kept. Valet parking is a nice plus!

Beautiful resort on the coast of Connecticut! Attended a wonderfully catered bridal shower here overlooking the cozy intimate beaches of Madison. Food was delicious, eggs Benedict, scones, banana bread squares and dreamy caramel pecan muffins to compliment chicken breasts, penne pasta in sauce and a fresh red and green leaf salad with cranberries, walnuts and blue cheese. Such a treat!

Just got married on the beach at MBH, and it was absolutely wonderful! Our reception was in the beautiful ballroom on the second floor. Nicole was amazing… she made sure we had everything we needed, made sure our decorations were set up even better than I could’ve done myself, and was so welcoming and friendly. Our guests could not stop complimenting our choice in venue… from the food to the view and from the staff to the rooms, everyone had great things to say! We plan on returning for our first anniversary. We wish we could do it all over again!

We were having a good time waiting for the fireworks. Apparently someone sitting next to our group was offended by something that they eavesdropped on. The manager came over to our group with the police and told a member of our party they could no longer order alcohol. He never asked us our side — which was nothing at all offensive — we were having a private conversation. I felt very humiliated by the manager — we were not loud or anything. We were a family all over 50, spending a lot of money waiting for the fireworks. The manager never asked, nor cared for our version — which was nothing. A bunch of snowflakes looking for their safe space I guess! By the way — my son is a United States Marine and I would never do anything to disrespect him. I will never ever set foot in that elitist place again!

We were staying here for our wedding anniversary celebration. It has been a wonderful getaway for us. Its a quite and calm place and the staff were really nice. The view was really good from our room. The Warf restaurant downstairs was also good.

Can't say enough good things about this brunch! Favorite part: clams and oysters on the half shell, fresh shrimp cocktail and smoked/cooked salmon platter! Prime rib was excellent and there were lots of delicious salads and vegetables — and a huge dessert selection! Literally something for everyone. I wish you could rate 4.5 stars because that would be my rating, taking off a small amount for the mussels which were overcooked. Definitely will be back. Best brunch around in this price range.

I had my wedding at the Madison Beach Hotel in 2015. Matt and Libby made my dream wedding more than I was even able to dream. They are exceptional to work with and pay attention to every detail. Since then my husband and I go to the wharf for dinner. Never had a bad service or bad food. Everything about about this esatablishment is excellent. I especially enjoy the grassy strip concerts during the summer and look forward to them.

We just loved this beautiful place on the ocean. The only complaints we have are the straight drinks are expensive and very small. In addition after paying the room cost they charged $10 for parking! But overall it's a great place.

Hotel is great. Rooms and bar are great breakfast was terrible. Sent it back and then was over cooked. Really bad.

Madison is a great coastal village. Beautiful coastline. This hotel is right in the middle of it all. The renovated version of this hotel is beautiful. The restaurant has great views but we have had a few bad meals there. Parking is very limited.

I am giving 3 stars rather than 5 because we went there for Christmas Dinner and the Prime Rib ($29) I was served was a complete diaster. They say you eat with your eyes first. Well the expeditor must have been asleep or not even there because what I was served was not a slice of Prime Rib but pieces laid on the plate to emulate a slice. Really disappointing and not very appetizing. I sent it back and it was replaced but the first serving was all I could see. I love the Beach Hotel and it's usually very good but not tonight!

This is not a children friendly hotel more of a 55+ crowd. Rooms are very nice with a great views of the bay. This is good for couples who want to get away for the weekend. Located in an upscale neighborhood of Madison Conneticut nice downtown area to walk around and shop.

Great hotel, loved the room and location. Staff was feiendly. Only issue was a staff member entered our room 10 minutes after checking in and didn't really give us a valid reason to why it happened. Called the front desk to find out why and they made up an insane excuse. It was pretty uncomfortable. The front desk agent in the morning seemed more concerned about our issue than the agents on the 2nd shift. Also there was a beeping noise going on for hours that kept me up. Overall it was a nice stay.

Beautiful spot. Great water view. Excellent food (we were there for lunch). Very good service. This is easy to get to from I-95. I highly recommend this place.

This is a Lovely Hotel right on the beach. We took my mom here for her 70th birthday. I'm so glad we stayed here. Highly recommended it!

Great service, nice staff, beautiful view… was rather disappointed in the tomato surprise, though… didn't taste a bit like lobster… either too much spice, or not enough lobster… not sure what I actually ate.

Attended a wedding here. Beautiful spot, ceremony right on the beach. Food was decent and the event well run. Didn't stay overnight but seemed like a nice place for a weekend getaway. Listed rates were reasonable.

On the recommendation of a friend, I brought my cousin for Brunch yesterday and the Madison did not dissapoint! Is it a pricey brunch, yes, but the food was spectacular, view was breathtaking, and the staff accomdating and friendly — a special shout out to Jolene, Brad, and the chef manning the omlette station (whose name, I am ashamed to say escapes me that this moment). They, and the rest of the staff we encountered, made the day special for us. We will be back!

The Madison Beach Hotel is just a wonderful place to go especially if you just want a day trip. It's very relaxing, it's friendly, and they have a nice beach. The hotel is absolutely beautiful the service is wonderful the restaurant The Wharf the food is fabulous. There is a real calmness of peace when you're looking out over the ocean, wonderful breeze sitting out on the rocks. So if you're ever in Madison stop by the Madison Beach Hotel for a day or for a week you'll have a wonderful time.

Stayed here for a week for business and this place was beautiful! Definitely more upscale, the service was impeccable and the staff went out of their way to help when I had an issue with my balcony door getting stuck. Restaurant/bar had great food and the bartender was hilarious. The views from the hotel and the beach below are absolutely gorgeous. Definitely worth the cost!

I had my wedding here on 7/8 and it was by far the best experience my wife and I could have had. The service was better than I could have ever imagined. A special shout out to Wan and Nicole for being the most helpful people in the world and making our day the very best it could be. They went as far as to decorate our room with rose petals and bring extra desserts to our room for us to enjoy after the party was over. Honestly, I couldn't be happier with the service, professionalism, and friendliness of all the staff at the Madison Beach Hotel. Truly the best venue for a wedding in New England.

I went to the Madison Beach hotel for a wedding, so I unfortunately can't rate the rooms. The service was very good and the wait staff were very attentive. I had prime rib for dinner and it was very good. Not the best I've ever had, but good. It was nice and rare and tender. The hotel was very clean and the surrounding beach was very pretty. They definitely keep things clean here. If I were in the area and needed a place to stay, I wouldn't pass this place up, especially with a beautiful beach view.

I can't describe it I'm sorry but I'm going again on the 6th and I'm going to call in a couple minutes and see if I can change it to the 5th because I want five nights and then if possible I'm going to see if I can get six nights instead I'll give you some pictures.

Was there for a wedding. The food was good, especially the crab cake appetizer. I just don't like the set up of the venue. The dance floor was completely blocked by people, and that's where everything takes place. A beautiful venue Just the worst set up for a wedding room I've ever seen.

Location is fantastic. All rooms have a balcony with a view of the sound. Cute downtown area with shops within a few minutes drive. Beds and pillows are so nice, clean, soft, comfortable. Couldn't ask for a better place to sleep. Bathroom was clean and fridge was a great bonus. Room service was prompt. Kitchen made a boo boo with an order we made due to a two year old menu in the room. Otherwise, well done and as reasonably priced as could be expected. Restaurant and bar also very nice. Good food. Some service lacking, but I spoke with the concierge at departure and she was very attentive, responsive, apologetic and truly seemed to want to remedy any issues. Towel service is great too, and the outdoor menu is just right for eating on the beach.

Beautiful view, fresh raw bar and great drinks. The wine list isn't huge but they're well curated and the food was also very good. Great place to end a romantic date if you want to sit outside by the ocean.

Great location on the beach. I stayed at the embassy suite and the service was impeccable. They even helped me when I needed to prevent something urgently. No complaints.

Recently attended a social event and had a nice time. I didn't have much to eat or drink, so I can't really comment, but it is certainly a beautiful location and building, with a very nice staff.

Well I am rarely surprised by people or businesses. After a rough week really needed a spa visit. However with working Saturdays didn't want a long drive. So did my research and found Madison Beach Hotel. Booked services and dinner. By 6:30 I received an emerging phone call and had to leave immediately. May the manager did the right thing with pleasure. Kudos for understanding in a tough situation.

View was awesome. Room was spacious but since it was off season you could tell that there wasn't the A staff present at the location. Stay away from the brunch unless you are ready to spend north of $100 for a couple.

Just stayed there for my 44th birthday. We were given a 1st floor handicap accessible room, which is not what we expected or wanted. The issue is not with the room itself, but the terrace doors that open out to a common deck that everyone uses when entering/exiting the beach. All other rooms have private terraces/decks. We couldnt enjoy the view or the sea breeze because people are constantly walking past the door and looking in. The straw that broke the camel's back was on Saturday. My wife and I thought that we had the terrace doors locked when a stranger and his dog started to walk in on us while we were in the nude. Needless to say, that the wife and I were not happy. We told the front desk at checkout on Sunday what happened and we received a $100 off our bill. Everything else was beautiful, mixed drinks were a crap shoot though. I can recommend this place, but just avoid that handicap room at all costs!

Had my wedding hosted here, and myself and all of our guests were absolutely blown away with a great time! Spent 3 days there for that event and have returned numerous times for both brunches and summer nights by the beach. All have been exceptional. We're going back tonight for the holidays to eat inside.

Whether you are considering the Madison Beach Hotel for a weekend getaway, corporate event or wedding; I can tell you that you won't be disappointed! We were married here this past summer on June 21st and can't say enough about the facility, staff and service. After considering locations from Newport to the Hamptons, the MBH deservedly gained our business because of their willingness to go above and beyond. We designed our own menu with not so typical dishes and the chef wasn't just willing to accommodate us, he said he'd be adding some dishes to the regular menu. The room we had was beautiful and spacious with great views of the sound. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A unique hotel hotel well worth the money.

We loved everything about the Madison Beach Hotel. Had some concerns about the differences in the reviews which disappeared from the moment we checked in. Very charming, great room with a view of the beach, every staff person we dealt with was more than accommodating, the service in the restaurant, although a bit slow, made up for that with the very accommodating wait staff. Food was very fresh and good. Amazing sunday brunch. Fabulous services at the spa. We can't wait to come back, even in the winter. We came on a difficult week — the change over of the college help and despite that — things went very smoothly. Perfect vacation.

Place is so over rated it is scary! Great location and view but,,, rest is very blah.

Last evening was a birthday celebration so we chose the Madison Beach Hotel's Wharf Restaurant for dinner. This was a big mistake. The restaurant was so noisy you could not carry on a conversation, the waitstaff was poorly trained, the food was mediocre at best and needed to be sent back to be cooked! When we complained to the manager he apologized and sent over ONE dessert to appease us. In my opinion this establishment is pretending to be The Ocean House and they are not even close to being in that league. Needless to say we are never going back and I will tell all our family and friends to do the same.

Simply breath taking. I have traveled the world and stayed at some of the finest hotels in the world and the Madison Beach Hotel ranks up there with the best of them. Though it is relatively new, it has incredible old world charm from the moment you drive up the circular drive and the valets are second to none to the spiral wooden stair case in the lobby. Then there are the plush bedrooms and the views are nothing short of spectacular.

I sat at the bar and witnessed so many atrocities that I didn't finish my beer and left. The redheaded bartender SNIFFED every drink and while he was mixing drink he stuck his nose into every cup. WTF The bar supervisor (it says so on his name tag) coughed into his hands without washing them, their 'table talk' about the people they had served before disturbed me. The menus were dirty, bar unkept. I listened to them explain why there was no martini list to a group of girls then 'talk about them' when their backs were turned. The guy to my left had his 'pint' refilled twice in the same glass with the tap nozzle against his filthy glass. You have to be better than all this.
