Phenomenal stay, 10/10, Beautiful views, we had a fantastic time!

We have come here for three summers consecutively, and it gets better every time. The sunsets are nothing short of spectacular, and it’s a short ride to all that the east end has to offer. We spent Saturday on the beach all day and exploring most of the wineries and of course the Greenport harbor brewery. Can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I would like to say “Thank you, Marilyn” This was our first time staying at a B&B! You welcomed us so graciously! The accommodations were perfect! Beautiful, quiet, comfortable and relaxing! And the gourmet breakfast was delicious! It really made our July 4 holiday! We love the Northfork and visit a few times every year! Thank you once again for a wonderful experience! I am so happy Danny found you!

The owner was very hospitable and presented us with a beautiful breakfast. The garden was very pretty, the beach was great and the room was very clean and cozy.

We had a great time staying at the shorecrest B&B. It was clean, the rooms and bathrooms were a good size. The breakfast was very good and made from all fresh, locally grown ingredients. Marilyn had great recommendations of restaurants, vineyards and activities to do while visiting. She also provided us with the most up to date tourist information/magazines/maps which was much appreciated! I would go back and stay again.

The accommodations at Shorecrest were all I could hope for. Although it was January, they were comfortable and supplied all I needed for a month long stay. The hostess was graciously available for any questions or needs. The area was lovely as well… the beach and Sound showed a variety of delightful moods. A great Get-A-Way B&B.

Great place near the Sound. The owner is very friendly. The place is well kept. Fantastic sunset at their beach across the road. My family and I have visited a number of times and plan to do so again.

I reserved a room for a romantic getaway after reading many reviews by people who appeared to be very happy with their stay here. The facilities are very nice and clean and the grounds are beautiful. My wife and I were surprisingly disappointed as follows: The website does say that check-in time is between 3:00 and 3:30 pm, and they mean it — At approximately 3:33 pm my telephone rang and the proprietor wanted to know how close we were, luckily we were very close and I was able to apologize and tell her we would be there within a few minutes. Their website is well done and offers enhancements to your stay. I ordered the Champagne Picnic Welcome more than a week in advance. Unfortunately, when we arrived the proprietor informed me, in front of my wife, that she had not looked at my reservation before today and that the surprise that I had planned for my wife had not been taken care of. There was no real apology, and I got the distinct impression that it just wasn't a big deal to the proprietor and that she certainly did not understand the importance of the surprise. During our tour of the house, we were told about breakfast and that it would be served between 9:00 am and 10:00 am — again, the proprietor appears to be a stickler for time, when I explained that my wife likes to sleep in on these getaways and that I might just pop down to bring her breakfast in bed, I received a look that let me know that the idea wasn't one that was appreciated.

Needing a place to crash after seeing The Merry Widow at Southold Opera, I was fortunate to stay for only one night in this charming Bed & Breakfast in Southold with gorgeous views of the Long Island Sound. The home is immaculate and filled with décor and artifacts that are perfectly suitable for a relaxing getaway. I wish I can post photos of the interiors so you can see how nice it really is. I need to go back and spend a few days there.

I am so glad I found you and Shorecrest. I enjoyed the gardens and long walks on the beach, and the breakfasts were scrumptious. The beds were really comfortable and I’m hard to please there.

The sumptuous bed and breakfasts, the marvelous surroundings, and our warm, witty hostess made this one of our very best vacation trips! What a perfect setting for our 20th anniversary! Charming, well-appointed inn. Breakfast features eggs from the chickens that roam through the gorgeous gardens. Add a gracious host, private beach and proximity to wineries — and who could ask for more.

First of all, I have to admit that I'm not an easy customer. I called Marilyn multiple times with questions. She was so kind and patient each time I called. When I arrived at her place, I was charmed by the lovely gardens, designed and tended by her. The room was cozy and nicely decorated. Breakfast is an affair to remember. She prepares multiple dishes, including a nice muffin and an egg dish, along with granola (which I noticed was organic) and sausage, etc. Marilyn's choices of ingredients are to be commended. She loses local and organic products whenever possible, and her attention to detail is special. She puts out homemade cookies in the morning, to accompany the tea and coffee that is always available. She even has thought of making beach umbrellas and towels available for her guests. Her reading materials show her high level of spiritual awareness and evolution. All-in-all, this is a special bed and breakfast that I know you will love.

Upon pulling up to Shorecrest, the beautiful flowers whisked us towards the front door. Once inside the house we were brought back in time to the early 20’s, by the perfectly appointed chandelier, table books, décor, accessories and amiable host Marilyn, who led us to our room. A charming room with a king sized bed and luxurious jacquard sheets made our sleep sumptuous and elegant. The breakfast presentation and food choices were a delightful surprise of yummy tastes in period styled dining. We highly recommend Shorecrest for a relaxing getaway stay with beach and nearby North Fork wonders awaiting.

My favorite place for a weekend getaway. We've been staying here for the past few years during late winter. Emmaculate, cozy rooms, close to the beach & vineyards. Great breakfast every visit (and we are gluten-free; Marilyn goes out of her way to accomodate us). Close to the quaint town of Greenport, which has great restaurants and history. Also close to the ferry to New London, CT. We make a weekend out of gambling at Mohegan Sun (less than 5 minutes from the ferry), wine tasting on the North Fork, walking on the many paths near the beach and dining in Greenport.
