Decent place for what you pay. Easy and quick check in with friendly staff. Beware though the walls are thin and you may here things you really don't want to.

We checked in after 8pm and there was barely any wait. Door didn't want to open intially, but we got in after another try. Even seems to be cleaned after each day. So far good.

Very clean, cortieus, friendly. Comfortable rooms and bead. Nice TV, good channel. Applied works good. Fringe was not cooling enogh and as soon as we mentioned it to then, it was changed. They assisted me si many ways. And great smile, hospitalism. Food is fresh and good. I reccomend it.

Honestly would never stay in this hotel again. The people at the front were very welcoming and friendly but the cleanliness was gross. Bed sheets were dirty so had to sleep on the bedding and not sheets. It smelt like weed clearly in the room before we left for the concert nearby and When we got back it didn’t smell as bad but still had to spray perfume because it had a ordor even in the halls. And literally on the Bible in the desk there was a scale with coke on it. Clearly the room was not well cleaned and taking care of prior to letting another costumer in it. I Thought about just renting another hotel but didn’t want to lose my money.

I recently spent 4 nights at your Days Inn. My wonderful experience had nothing to do any physical renovations but everything to do with 2 amazing members of your staff. I got off late at night during my stay and a front desk staff member named Jose was indispensable! He happily helped me from every situation from locking my key in the room to coordinating my effort to park my company bus and every little detal in between. Another front deak staff member who went above the call of duty as Jose did was Amar. Always extremely accomodaing with a smile and action making my stay there memorable enough to enjoy my stay in Hartford. Thanks guys!

Recently redone, great service, bargain price but excellent rooms!

The employees very nice and accommodating. The room was okay but the bathroom had a leak in the ceiling and the spare toilet paper when I went to unwrap that it was all brown. Only stayed one night.

The room was very clean and the bathroom liked like it had been renovated recently. The room also had both a microwave and a mini fridge which came in handy as I was there for several days. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I would stay there again if I was ever back in CT.

Posted picture seems misleading. Interior a bit concerning and dated. Rooms were clean but small comparatively.

The hotel was clean neat and comfortable, only downside was the continental breakfast.

New renovations are looking great! Beds were comfortable, there is still work being done at the property. New signs saying a brand new elevator is going in around May 2018, as well as a new breakfast area with expanded options. Place looks totally different than the last time I came in 2015.

One of my favorite places to stay! It always feels like home. The staff is always courteous and extremely helpful. The Wi-Fi wasn't working at first, but the customer service person kept trying to help us and then reset the entire network to make sure we could connect — and we did. The room was neat and clean. I'm thrilled the entire hotel took on a No Smoking Policy! I think someone was smoking next door to us because the bathroom began to smell like smoke. It was very unpleasant! Fortunately, I think that person was caught and was penalized by losing their deposit. Thank you Hartford Days Inn for always welcoming my family and going above and beyond to ensure we have a pleasant, comfortable stay! See you soon. :)

The renovations other reviews have mentioned are actually very nice. Carpetting and room furniture is all very nice, I just wished the renovations extended to the elevator. Very old and freight style, jerky, made me scared. Also the breakfast was cramped and limitted. So overall, inside the room it feels like a more expensive hotel, but outside still feels cheap.

The floor hallway had a bit of a weird smell and the breakfast was a bit small — — but the bathroom was nice, room didn't smell at all, just what we needed.

Couldn't have been a more pleasant stay. I live in downtown Needed a bed and roof wile I was undergoing renovations at home. I don't usually leave reviews but it just wouldn't be Not right not to share my experience the staff was really welcoming and continued to check in and make shure I walk my needs wer met not enough stars5+right.

The location is out of the way from any other stores. The rooms look like they have been redone very nice rooms. The hotel looks run down very best up.

I'm not the type of person to give ruthless negative reviews. But I had a horrible experience in this place. 1 — Place looks old and dirty. 2 — The complementary breakfast is basically close to nothing. 3 — I tried coffee from the coffee brew in the breakfast area and it was kind of sour. I'm happy that I didn't get poisoned. 4 — When I checked in, there was a running remodeling of some rooms, however, almost all rooms in all 3 floors were empty, but the front desk gave us the key to the room which was in front of one of under remodeling units. Form 8am till 5pm, workers were using hammers, drills and making all kind of noises. If you taught that was all, you are wrong, cause workers had a big speaker with them playing music and singing loudly. Again, I hate to give negative reviews, but believe me, words cannot describe what a horrible experience we had in this hotel.

Absolutely disgusting in every way possible. -spiders -the lock on the door was broken -smell of smoke throughout the entire hotel -the AC brought in the smell of weed -the elevator is the scariest thing in the world -loud and aggressive noises at night -the smoke detector in the room goes off at random times -they say the rooms have fridges but they don't -around 1am-4am each night I was awoken multiple times by loud noises outside our room -ALSO there are these people who just sit on the side of the road outside the hotel and stare at you as you drive by and into the parking lot! Overall I was terrified the multiple nights we stayed and would never recommend it to anyone.

I was satisfied that they would allow 17 year olds and was so excited to finally have a hotel accept us. When I arrived with a friend we thought the hotel was decent. Then we arrived to the elevator where it strongly smelt like weed. There are clearly signs saying do not smoke so it was not enforced very well. Then we arrived to our floor which seemed to be the pot floor. Our room didn't smell until we turned on the vent system. The smell went all through our room and we had to open the windows and turn the air off. We were also supposed to have a mini fridge in the room which we did not get. When my friend took a shower and then opened the door the fire alarm was set off. Don't know why and no one in the building seemed to care. All around our experience with the Days Inn was that great and would not go back.

Didn't stay. 80's TV. Busted room. Wretched bathroom. Inch & a half bulletproof polycarbonate "glass" around the front desk… To give you an idea of what that means: a quarter inch of polycarbonate can stop a 40 caliber handgun bullet at 10 feet. They're not armoring themselves against pistol rounds, the people that run this place are specifically worried about being shot by AK-47's at point blank range. Does this tell you what you need to know about this spot?

This place was not well maintained I was there 8 nights and they only spread the beds they did not clean the shower it was filthy and they have bed bugs I just home I don't take any home the staff was very nice that's why they even get a star and there was mold in my room next to the window.

This place felt like home. I stayed for 34 days with my son and my 4 year old autistic little girl for a school trip. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and always tending to our needs no matter the hour. The rooms were very clean and nice despite that they were remodeling. If I had a concern the staff was right on top of it, never once making us feel uncomfortable. Every Time I needed to find a place Jessica was always there to print me a map or even escort me in the right direction. Jose was always there to help with my computer needs or even to escort me to my car at night while also making his rounds around the hotel to make sure everyone was safe in the hotel. Also lets not forget the owner who was always cheerful and nice never making us feel out of place. This hotel is a older but very nice facility. We never had encounters with any bugs nor leaks. The rooms were very nice and cozy. The bathrooms were nice as well with a massage shower head. The dog they have there is very nice and friendly and my little girl played with him all the time and no he is not vicious as most reviews on here say. I stayed from March 30 to April 4, 2016. Overall this place was the most friendly, safe, homely hotel I have ever stayed in and I will visit again. Remember peeps most complainants on these sites are from people who didn't complain to the front desk because if they would have the staff would have solved it quickly and in a timely manner as they did for us.

I just called because I see they say they have pool. Hot tub. Kitchrn in all rooms ect and when I asked none if is true… thanks God I asked … we cant even trust in what they say it includes.

It's ok for a cheep hotel definitely needs work and updating and definitely a place to not be shocked if you see hookers or smell weed. I'd suggest only spending a night but not multiple nights.

My friend and I stayed here and were so impressed. The staff is so friendly and made us feel very welcome, the room was very clean; just an overall wonderful experience here with prices you can't beat. Will definitely be booking again!

Zero stars. BED BUGS! Bed bugs alert. Bleached yet Permanently stained towels. Avoid if you can.

Most digusting hotel I have ever stayed in. Comforter had burnt holes, walls were filthy. Bathroom was distgusting, customer service sucked couldnt even stay the night I was so disgusted.

I have stayed here a few times and will continue to come back. Great people and hotel. Great job goes out to Dafne and her team.

Our company had a couple guys working out in Hartford, CT. We booked this hotel for their stay. We cancelled the reservations after the first night. Spiders and other bugs everywhere. Will not EVER go back.

I can't say enough good things about this place, and I've only been here two days. I understand that the hotel is going through some renovations — and it doesn't look like the Hilton — but the customer service is really unbelievable. Responsible, professional, attentive employees work hard to make your stay comfortable — and they do a great job.

When my boyfriend told me this is where we were staying in Hartford, I was horrified. A princess like me in the Days Inn?! Truth be told, it wasn't bad. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't good either. But it was the cheapest hotel he could find in Hartford and we were only staying overnight so it was fine. The room was clean. The bathroom was not gross. They let us do a late checkout. Heck, I would probably even stay here again in a pinch.

I made the mistake to book a room in this Kennel. And yes, the room smelt like the local Dog Pound. What s Shyt Hole, I put up a stink about this filthy place and demanded my money back. After some harsh words, I got a refund. . Went next door to the Holiday Inn and had a real nice room.

Terrible customer service, the hallways stink like a public bathroom, the elavator stinks like musty armpits and pee, there was not hot water when we needed it for our shower, the carpets in the room we were n were filthy and looked like they never clean them, as well as multiple red/pinkish big stains on the carpet, the fitness room only has 3 cardio machines and 1 of them didnt even work. The Wi-Fi is slow as hell here. How ever the good thing is that the room has a microwave and mini refrigerator in the room. And a TV wit basic cable. And the sheets are clean. I dont plan on coming back here. Though there is way more bad things then good things at this days inn, in hartford. I would only stay here if u need a place to just rest ur head at and wanna get away from home and thats it. Dont plan on coming back. Askin for a refund maybe.
