Lovely hotel on the harbor. Room was comfortable and spotless.

This was a beautiful place to get away close to home. Great restaurants and shopping.

The massage experience was fantastic! They were quite accommodating for my wife and I as we were celebrating my birthday. Definitely plan on returning and staying for romantic weekends!

I stayed in for a night. This room doesn't have views. The room has amenities, ac, room service, iron, everything needed if you have a business appointment next day. I ordered dinner menu through room service which has only one vegetarian entree and a couple of vegetarian appetizer. Expect to order an appetizer and a entree for a meal. The next day breakfast has granola, yogurt, dry fruits, fruits, orange juice, and coffee. It has complementary car service. I used it for a relatively shorter distance. Overall, the stay was satisfying. Didn't use the spa room.

Unbelievably gorgeous hotel on a picturesque marina right on the Atlantic. The concierge Oscar will make you feel like a guest on Fantasy Island, the old TV show.

I stayed here in December 2017. Was not too happy with the experience for my money. First, I had purchased the Metro north package to visit NYC. I called and confirmed that the hotel would have my train tickets ready… they said that they would be ready at the desk. They weren't ready. Having never been to NYC, wasn't sure how the ticket system worked… Thank goodness we were able to buy them at the kiosk at the station. Second, I was woken up at 2am. The people in the room next to me were screaming and I heard every word they said. It scared me and my heart was racing… I had trouble falling back asleep. I know it's not really the hotel's fault that the guests were yelling but I wish they were a little aware of what was going on. I guess that you should just be aware that the walls are thin. Then, I was planning to eat breakfast at their continental spread. The problem was that there wasn't a single gluten free item in the buffet. I have celiac disease and my body can't process wheat. I politely asked if they had any gluten free options like fruit or cereal. They told me that I could purchase yogurt. So, I left to go purchase breakfast elsewhere. I don't think it would have hurt to give me a small cup of yogurt… I wasn't looking for something like an omelette or Belgian waffles… nothing crazy. I left a comment card in the room after my stay and didn't hear back at all from anyone. Not even a "thank you for the feedback.

Hotel hardware facilities can also, but can also be improved and perfected, because the price is not low.
Service attitude is good, waiters smile less, the lobby outside the parking driver work is not standard, to strengthen the quality of service management. Overall feel good.

We were there with relatives who had a relationship with the owner. My son-in-law talked to the owner and chef came to the table and he ordered for all. I am from LI. I love all that he ordered. Lots of shell fish. All was fresh. All was perfectly cook. Multiple wine and champagne all excellent. Couldn't ask for better. $$$$.

My stay was everything I expected and more. Staff was exceptional. They make sure you get a room w/ a balcony that faces the Harbor. Ocean view is the best view. Ben is a great hands on staff. He takes your bags, parks your car and more. He’s a pleasure.

This is our new all-time favorite hotel! I booked a Executive Harbor View King room for July 14th back in March because I was taking my girlfriend away for a night and proposing to her. I knew I wanted to propose in Greenwich and tie in the whole summer, waterfront theme along with a first-class experience. The Delamar totally exceeded my expectations! From the initial booking, I told the hotel I was planning on proposing to my now fiancee and they went above and beyond in ac…commodating us. They gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne with chocolate-covered strawberries (that was delivered to us while we were celebrating at L'Escale so it was on ice when we returned to the room) in addition to an early check-in and late checkout. Unbelievable! The room was super nice and the balcony with the Greenwich Harbor views is worth the price. There was complimentary wine and cheese between 6-8pm exclusive for the 4th floor. (I think they offer this on other floors too). The wine and cheese hit the spot while we were getting ready for dinner. Sipping wine and looking over the balcony is so relaxing and peaceful! From 7 to 11am — they served complimentary continental breakfast on our floor. This included muffins, croissants and mini-bagels with cream cheese and lox along with orange juice and apple juice. An assortment of fruit and water bottles are at the end of the hallway 24/7 — complimentary as well! We are just blown away by the top-notch customer service.

Rooms are nice. The restaurant is pretty good. The yatch section right outside was probably my favorite part.

We attended a wedding reception on a Saturday evening. The place was stunning top to bottom. The decor was elegant without being over the top, the service was impeccable, and the food was some of the best my husband and I have had. We did not stay there so I can't rate the rooms, but from the lobby and dining room, my guess is the rooms are equally beautiful.

Great food and good times. I highly recommend this french Restaurant. People are warm and there is always something fun going on, including live music.

What a stunning property. Steps away from the water. Close to parks, boat rides and other places to explore. Enjoy the abundant sunshine and gentle ocean breezes.

I don't like the hotel but there is a Quiet park across from the Delamar with a great view of Greenwich Harbor. Few picnic tables and a clean restroom. Sparsely used except on event days during the summer. The Delamar restaurant is overpriced & and food underwhelming. Tried it twice and found it noisy inside. Outside seating is better on cooler days. We have always found the help to be a bit condescending.

It’s 10 degrees outside and my room never goes below 75. The AC is limited to 68 which I hate. For the price of this place I shouldn’t have to sweat thru the night so they can save a little money on AC costs. If you like your room anything below 70 at night this is not the hotel for you. And the food is way overpriced for what it actually is and there is nothing else around within walking distance so your forced to eat here.

Went to L'Escale for Christmas Eve dinner. Fun atmosphere and the restaurant was very busy. The decor was as expected (muted traditional tones) and although service was a little slow, the staff were very friendly. Food was good but nothing really wowed our party. Good experience overall.

I had the most amazing time here. Such and clean and friendly environment. Their service was amazing and anything I needed they brought to my room right away. Although the weather was bad, my weekend here turned it to be so memorable. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who would be staying in this area.

This beautifully situated hotel is beyond our budget, but we enjoyed having a delicious drink in the bar. This is an excellent place to peek at the 1% and their hangers-on (a couple of gorgeous, dressed — to — the — nines gals sitting at the bar who were obviously there to find some sugar daddies straight off their yachts) and the wealthy foreign guests that mostly inhabit the hotel. The waiters were very polite and knew how to deal with the affluent. The scenery was wonderful. Altogether, a very entertaining hour.

This is a European style hotel that caters to the yachting crowd. Lush interiors, lots of wood paneling, but no grand proportions. The Delamar is an intimate property with a high commitment to service. Being in the waterfront, there is a lot of humidity and some of the waterlogged character of that humidity, despite air conditioning. It's worth mentioning only because it's noticeable and, given the location and age of the property, unavoidable. The property is handicapped accessible, though it requires a lot of maneuvering in a very small elevator. The floors are staggered, not stacked, so 3 is above 1 and 2 is between them to one side. This makes for a confusing amount of stairs at first glance, but it adds a cozy labyrinthine feel to the place. The standard rooms are cozy and very well appointed. Nightly turn down service includes chocolate. There is a 24-hour hot beverage center for espresso/cappuccino and killer hot chocolate. The front desk greets all guests with sparkling wine or beer and water. The downstairs lounge area is unusually comfortable and the continental breakfast is sparse but includes fresh squeezed orange juice. You won't find a waffle maker or rubbery microwaved eggs. Instead, they have a modest selection of decent pastries and yogurt with fixings as well as some fresh fruit.

It's a nice little hotel with a beautiful interior and rooms to match it. Has great customer service for a small staff and is located right near the water. Is also a short drive from the Greenwich town center full of great dining and shopping.

The restaurant is not the best place for good food or quality service. The hostess had an attitude when I asked if we could sit outside. The sparkling water was flat and had a weird taste. We waited so long for our entree that the waiter forgot he already took our order. He greeted us and gave us menus. Then when the food came it looked dry and was burnt to a crisp. He offered to re-make but that was a mistake. It came back a little burnt and my stomach was bubbling and bloated for the rest of the night. The manager greeted and checked on every table except for ours. It was like we didn't exist. We asked for tea and never got it. It was such a beautiful place that left me unsatisfied. I give it 2 stars just for how nice it looked.

Just returned from an incredible anniversary weekend at the DeLamar. The staff from the moment we checked in until we left were all so friendly and accommodating offering us champagne upon arrival and bottles of water for the ride home. The service/staff in the restaurant and spa were also excellent! A special thank you to our driver (I wish I remembered your name) who drove us back and forth to Greenwich st for shopping dinner etc. Your recommendations were perfect, and being shlepped around in a Tesla was an added bonus! This hotel far exceeded my expectations and it was less than an hour from home! Great weekend getaway!

Helpful staff, delicious food, and beautiful grounds.

The Hotel is beautiful. The staff is friendly and professional. The spa was great as well. They made space for us even though the spa was booked full. Champagne upon check in was a nice touch. We had a city view room, it was great on the inside. Not much view, but still awesome place to stay. There is a free harbor cruise on the Prudence which was a great tour. Overall great experience and would recommend to anyone.

Stayed in a executive town facing room. Room was nice, but felt it was overpriced for the size and location (Greenwich). The staff was very friendly and accommodating. While I wouldn't recommend it to a friend a a night getaway, that is what my wife and I did. I will say if you want to be as close to Greenwich in a nice place I would say it was OK.

Great for a weekend getaway from NYC. Definitely try to get a room with the harbor view. Staff really nice and helpful. We have stayed here many times, and it almost feels like coming home — — a glass of sherry upon arrival puts us in the proper mood right away! A nice bonus is that the hotel will often arrange for a company Tesla to take you to a nearby restaurant for dinner and pick you up afterwards.

I'm staying at the hotel, as I write this, the hotel is very nice, but the concierge and the doorman this morning, at 7:40am, didn't let me take the newspaper, 'cause they said I wasn't staying at the hotel, even after showing my hotel room key, never been so humiliated in my life, I didn't make a fuss about, but "cause my boss is staying another night here, I have no choice but to stay here also.

Had a blast here. Good was great. And I have never stayed at this hotel. But I dined and drank at the ''In House'' reataurant and bar. The management here was disgusting. The bartender (think his name may have been Rico) was the most obnoxious and pompous individual of my existence. And then the manager came out and added insult to injury. Ok, the point of my review is, if this restaurant is any one iota of financial/emotional/or service resemblance of the actual hotel? Do not stay here! If you are running this hotel. Recheck your whole reflection. If your in the SERVICE industry, get with the program. Don't let a petty reataurant and their rouge servicemen tear down a great fabric of Greenwich proper.

The Delamar Greenwich Harbor is one of the most attentive and luxurious places to stay in Greenwich. The staff treats you with so much care. The restaurant and bar has both indoor and outdoor seating available. If you choose to have drinks inside they provide a wonderful piano player for your amusement and entertainment. With very close proximity to the stores on Greenwich Avenue and Greenwich Harbor (hence the name of the hotel) I highly recommend people stay there.

From the second we arrived the personal attention was unparalleled. It was an incredible weekend, and the staff and management couldn't have done more to improve our experience. Accommodations were lovely, restaurant was perfect, we will certainly return in the future.

Our favorite weekend escape. My wife and I have been coming to the Delamar for years as a quick and fun way to get out of NYC. Its a few minutes walk from metro north train stop and all the good Greenwich restaurants. Love it.

My husband and I stayed here on the way back to DC from our Maine wedding with our 90 lb mixed lab, Sammy. It was amazing. The room was great, staff were professional, the massage we got was wonderful, and ALL of the staff really was dog friendly (Sammy received plenty of pets and treats). The dog tag they gave Sammy is still giving Sammy enjoyment as he chases the reflections it creates off his collar. Wonderful place and we would stay there again.

There are not many great spas in the Fairfield County, so I usually resort to traveling to NYC for my spa days. This time, I decided to try a massage at the spa at the Delamar Hotel. While the spa doesn't have a sauna and other typical relaxation facilities, It ended up being one of the best massages I've gotten in a really long time. It was sooo relaxing and my therapist really tried to mold the experience to my personal needs. I haven't tried their facials yet, but definitely want to give it a go someday soon. Highly recommended.
