The staff is outstanding, rooms clean, pet friendly. I don’t know how any one has a bad experience, especially if you ask and let someone know what’s wrong. Everyone that I have come in contact with was friendly, helpful and wants you to enjoy your stay. Love it. Relaxing with no casino. Great check experience, even though there were many guests in line they had enough check in agents, made you feel welcome! Close to everything, great location. Love it!

Worst hotel experience I’ve had in years. Worst customer service. Lack of leadership from management. Complete chaos to check in with Bonnie at the front desk being condescending and rude. Overall just don’t recommend.

This young man was truly amazing! This was my 1st trip to Vegas & I was traveling alone. He helped me with ordering food, parking garage, and overall just calm my nerves. Las Vegas is alot to handle especially on a first trip alone. The entire was great, but again this young man went above & beyond to make guests were handled accordingly. Thank you for having such wonderful staff and making the stay enjoyable.

Need a fridge for medical reasons. Hotel cannot supply. This was a request that was upfront. They know what at the front desk. Anything less than perfection is failure. Not a particularly nice hotel.

The rooms are very dated. They need a remodel. Not your typical Westin. Just an average hotel without the average price. I expect more from the Westin.

The Westin was great, It’s a 4 minute walk off the strip and we love the fact that it doesn’t have a casino. It gives you a much need break from that atmosphere.

This was a very nice party for Danette. Everything was excellent the food the drinks everything very nice.

Yah happy hour was nice and since we work. Close. To that area it was the happening place to be. Great staff, food was awesome and the mojito.

There is absolutely no customer service after the check out. My credit card got wrongly charged and I cannot find any way to be reimbursed in months! Multiple cases got opened and no one ever reacted to them!

We stayed at the Westin for the long weekend and it was a great choice. It’s clean and smells nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was big and comfortable. King bed and a little lounge sofa. Bathroom was average size and bathtub was small but still very clean. The pool was small and limited when it gets crowded. We did notice they didn’t pick up used towels or trash even after guest had left the pool for about an hour. They may need a little more attention to that. Loved that there’s a Starbucks inside the Westin. Very convenient. Not a far walk to the strip, and very close to The LINQ and shopping/food choices. For three nights it was roughly 500$ and we think it was worth it. We will consider staying at the Westin for our next Vegas trip.

Beautiful modern and inexpensive, then Las Vegas Westin does not fail to impress. Though you'll need an Uber or a lift to get to the strip without sweating through your clothes, the Westin makes your home-away-from-home very easy to enjoy. For a building built nearly a half-century ago, the Westin features relatively modern restrooms and spacious rooms which can fit a double bed or king or queen bed very comfortably. If you find yourself needing room service, the chicken and waffles is delicious and an excellent way to recover from an evening out on the town. The easily accessible bar as well as little convenience store within the location ensures that if you need a quick pick-me-up or bag of chips you will not have to go far.

I loved the room, so cute! The view of the High Roller was great! The location was perfect, walking distance to the strip. Very nice staff at check in! When I checked in there was complimentary dessert and whiskey tasting in the lounge. The bar area is perfect for late night eats and drinks. I really enjoyed my stay.

Excellent place to stay for the price and proximity to the strip. I had an issue with my first room which they gladly moved me to another room. However, I had the same issue with my next room and just decided to open up the AC unit and fix it myself. It was incredibly dirty. Regardless of the issues I had with my room, I was very pleased with the workers here and was even offered military discounts at the buffet. I would recommend this place to save a few bucks, just be ready to have something wrong with your room (AC unit not working, hot water taking 5 minutes to warm up, doors not closing properly due to poor framing, etc. ). This place has potential and is worth the money!

For the money I'm spending per night, you would BELIEVE that a 4-star Hotel & Resort would have more updated rooms and bathrooms. Bed looked like someone slept in it. Pre-paid for my stay, THEN told when I got here that there was a DEPOSIT plus RESORT FEE. Yes, there IS trash behind the dresser/desk, dust, missing grout in the tub area, old pillows that are flat and sink the moment you lie on them, the mattress was a bit too firm, but nice overall. The view? The cooling/heating system behind the hotel & parking lot. The 4 stars? Oh, well that's for their attentiveness, customer service was exceptional, and they were super accommodating by allowing me early check in no fee! Now that I know what this place is all about, I would definitely stay again! Next time I'll bring my fur babies! (They are a pet-friendly hotel) oh, and you would NEVER know there were animals here unless you saw them; the place smells WONDERFUL!

Service is really solid here. They treat you with respect and accommodate you to the best of their abilities. Even at 3 AM when we checked in no one was tried or grumpy and in-fact invited us in with a smile. My one and only complaint is that I wish the property was a bit more modern and renovated. That being said I do notice that they have made improvements recently with updated rooms and pool but there needs to be a little more work done to make it perfect.

We were there from July 6th — July 9th 2018… We were Robbed — Meaning the housekeeper left the room door open and someone stole clothes, Shoes, wig and Makeup. We’re waiting to hear back from the Corporate office about How they will be handling the situation. The hotel manager and security took our statement. We had to go ourselves to get a Police Report. We are very upset because our Privacy was violated and as of now no one Cares. My cousins wallet was stolen with her Social Security cards and Birth Certificates. I would not wish this situation on my worst Enemy. This Hotel does not have Cameras on the elevator or hall floors where the rooms are. My Review would be a the lowest Grade. From upset NC and PA Guest.

We are currently here… the AC sucks. I know they don’t want people in the rooms all day, but when it’s so hot you can’t sleep? We’ve had the thermostat as low as it will go and it says the “cool” is on but we can’t get the temp below 80. Miserable. We ordered room service for breakfast and the staff person asked how many would be eating — I said “2” and we only got one place setting. We also ordered a pot of coffee which came with one cup and no sweeteners. Creamer was some thin milk. I asked the household staff who was in the hallway if I could get some “Equal” and she didn’t speak English well enough to have any earthly idea what I was talking about. Nice hotel, but missing on some key points.

Initially our a/c wasn't working so they attempted to fix it to no avail but it all worked out because they moved us to another room. Comped us a total of 150 bucks and removed our resort fees. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Special thanks to Nina and Josh.

I loved this hotel. It's a very short distance from the strip and very quiet. It doesn't have a casino which makes it more of a little getaway. Nice bar and great food. The rooms are super nice! I really enjoyed the couch to lounge on in my room.

Very nice and affordable place to stay. Staff is great, the hotel and spa are lovely. This is a great place to stay if you are looking for a slightly quieter Las Vegas experience… there is no casino and the pool is relatively small and calm. Easy short walk to the main strip.

I liked how it was right outside of the strip, but not too far (15 mins and you're at the strip! ). Also, the lobby area was very clean and welcoming. I liked taking a break from all the craziness when I entered the hotel (there is no casino). Staff was nice. The pool was closed for a couple days, but it was restored later on. Gym was clean and spacious — not too crowded.

I preferred staying off the strip, away from the madness and crowds. The lobby has modern decor. There were a store, a restaurant and lounge, a 24-hr Starbucks, and an Enterprise car rental counter. We were initially given a room, adjoining another with teenagers from the volleyball tournament. Within minutes, we heard door slams and excited squeals. We called the front desk to request another room. They obliged. Our bell man, Dominic, was nice enough to reload the luggage cart with our stuff and brought us to our new room, on another floor. He, then went downstairs to retrieve our new keys. That is what I call excellent service. No large groups of teenagers here. However, we were fairly close to the elevator. SIGH… at least that wasn't as loud as the AC! I had to sleep with earplugs all night… The room also had modern decor, but the bathroom was much older, with mildew and no fan. I guess they forgot to include the bathroom in their renovation plans.

Very clean hotel with great amenities. A perfect, quiet place for people who want to stay somewhere that's not crowded. However, it's still walking distance to the main strip. This hotel also has great dining options. I always recommend this place to friends and family!

This place ruined or vacation! We were left with no money after they put a hold on our card for almost twice the amount of our room charge for fees NOT listed online, but were told by the very condescending general manager, that we just should have known about them! No casino either, although it is listed still on the outside of their building. The pool is no bigger than a hot tub! We had no heat or hot water the first night. Not even so much as a comped drink! Even after telling the manager that their unauthorized holds left us with no money. He could have cared less! DO NOT STAY HERE! We will NEVER stay at another Westin hotel.!

I attended a conference here for 4 days. I didn’t stay in the rooms, nor did I use the spa services, but the conference services were pretty good. The food served was good but there wasn’t much variation beyond pasta and chicken for 3 days, then on the 4th day they did fajitas. Staff is friendly and attentive and the lobby area is clean and smoke free. I neither saw now smelled anybody smoking here, nor did I see any slot machines. The rooms were a bit expensive for the conference, so I stayed at another place down the road.

Very conveniently located hotel near the strip, but not on the strip. The staff are courteous, but the wait can be quite long if all the flight attendants arrive here. It is a heavily packed hotel as they have deals with a lot of the airlines. The gym is rather large for a hotel gym, which is definitely a huge plus. The casino is small, so you can get some gambling in here away from all the chaos on the strip if you really want. The buffet has a large selection of hot breakfast.

The hotel staff was nice, however, I won't be staying there again. The lobby looked newly renovated, the rooms did not. For being a hotel off the strip, without a casino, I guess I thought they would have put a little more work into the rooms. They were small, and clean… when we could get someone to clean them. After the first night, we had to call the front desk at 415pm and ask for our room to be cleaned, which they did. Day two, when we got back to the room at 630pm, it still had not been cleaned. Unfortunately, since we were there with our two year old who desperately needed to go to bed, having our room cleaned that late was not an option. We were offered a $50 food/beverage credit, but with such a limited food menu, it hardly seemed helpful.

Very comfortable beds, great location. Good service. Low rates and convenient parking close to the lobby, no mile-long treks through a casino. A bit of noise from the hallway, but not too bad. HVAC is a little loud. Overall very comfortable.

The rooms are very clean. There are also a lot of USB charging port, convenient with a variety of electronic equipment charging, converters are saved.

I stayed at this hotel in February for a week long training session for my company. I would not ever recommend anyone to stay here. We had multiple billing issues during our stay. They billed both the company card and my personal card for the incidentals and then the entire week long stay. This happened twice on both credit cards. After three managers, we were assured that the situation was resolved, only to find out that it happened again to both cards. The day after we checked out, my personal card was charged for a one night stay but the hotel management claimed they had no record of the charge. Now, come to find out as our accounting manager is reconciling the company bank statements, we find that The Westin charged both my card and the company card for incidentals. No one was willing to correct the situation while we were there and now we, including the company I work for, are still dealing with the double charges.

I love staying here when I am in Las Vegas. I appreciate not having to trek through a smoky casino to get to my room. The restaurant is a great value for dinner. I enjoyed a great massage at the spa for a very reasonable price. Wifi is much better than you get in the casino properties. You're walking distance to the strip, but not bothered by it. All things considered, the Westin is a great option.

Great service! Great staff! I would say that the place is need of a bit of an upgrade. Doesn't quite feel like a for star establishment. The premium room was nice but small. The bathroom was also small. The shower didn't get as hot as I would have liked and the water pressure was low. All and all though it was a decent experience for the discounted price I paid.

This is a great hotel to stay at just off the strip. It is very quiet and the parking is free so is the valet. Please tip the drivers though but there isn't a set price for the service. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The restaurants are nice and the full service bar is great for a night cap.

I've been here three times. Once when it was known as the Maxim. That was not a nice place. Since then it was bought by Westin and refurbished quite a bit. They use to have a larger lobby with casino games and a restaurant. Now that's been removed and something else is being built in its place. I like this place because it's just off the strip, not too crowded, clean and the staff is very helpful. The rooms is nice and clean as well. The pool area is small but useful. The same can said of the pool bar. It's perfect if you want to a nice room at a good price that is off the strip and not too busy. Parking is ample and they offer valet service as well.

How I expressed on Trip Advisor. I did not feel pleased at this hotel for the poor service of the guard in the evening quite to be desired, apart from the room that touched us a bit old… the bathroom somewhat sloppy.

Bathroom dated, bed which has a bit too much suffered and room quite noisy if you are opposite side to the street (blocks Clim), $24 breakfast is a bit expensive but the food is good.

Very clean, service was amazing. Every single one of the staff, with no exaggeration, was so nice and went above and beyond. Went on a business trip and they treated me so very nice and with a ton of hospitality. The food at breakfast (although you have to pay to get the real deal) was so delish and worth it. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was top notch. Definitely highly recommend.

The Hotel was very quiet and the room was very noisy. Centrally located, steps away from the big casinos.

The refurbishments have been done very well. What used to be a casino is now an amazing restaurant. Breakfast is very extensive with a great selection for everyone. Location is good with a 5 to 10m walk to the strip. Rooms are decent. Check in and staff are superb.

Well, the Westin (formerly arguably Casuarina) is likely to tolerate a minor renovation, yet it was not unpleasant, just a little bit in the years. Check Inn was a bit tough, it formed a snake and we had the impression that everything was handled quite awkwardly. The price and location (walking distance to the strip) still recommended.

The reason for this trip was to visit my sick grandma. I checked in on 12/16 and checked out 12/18. Check-in: I booked my room with a third party. Before the day of check-in, I made sure to call the hotel directly to confirm my notes, which were, (1) 2 bed request, (2) pet friendly room, and (3) near an elevator because of a bad knee. I made it clear I would need a 2 bed and the operator was very polite and said this would not be a problem upon check-in. The day of check-in, we arrived on-site around 6pm. We had one dog with us (cleaning fee of only 35$ per night). The front desk agent (Asian with long dark hair) was not very welcoming. She did not she inform me of the type of room I had. She did not inform me of what was being authorized on my credit card until I asked her. Also, she did not inform me of the pet policy. I’m hoping the agent isn’t like this on a daily basis! Room: After checking in, I was disappointed to see that the agent provided me with keys to a 1 king bed. I called the operator and expressed that I needed a 2 bed. After explaining myself and trying to get the operator to understand my stance, he placed me on hold multiple times and finally concluded with a response saying the the hotel does, in fact, have plenty of 2 beds available, however, it would be an extra charge 20$ per night. After our phone conversation, I decided to speak with a manager.

As always the improvement attention, and the excellent service, all the. Very friendly staff in your attention. We would stay there again.

The Westin is a little off the main strip but close enough that it's only a short walk away. It is also much easier to get in and out of than the hotels on the strip. The staff is very friendly and is quick to fix any issues. The rooms are great. Try to get a room above the 4 floor for the best views. The bed is great and I have been sleeping so well. Next to the beds there are outlets so you don't have charge your phone across the room. The restaurant is a little pricey but does serve good food. It can get crowded in the morning so make sure you plan ahead if you are in a rush.

Stayed here 3 nights (Nov 4-6) and thought it was a pretty nice and quiet hotel. It’s close enough to The Strip (8min walk) for having that experience yet far enough to avoid the congestion of it. I would definitely stay here again. It’s a clean hotel with clean rooms. Enjoyed the prime rib buffet one night. Pool is close for renovations. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

As always the Westin is a great combination of value and quality. The accommodations were perfect for my needs. Although I was only staying for one night. I found the staff to be be very friendly and kind, the room was expertly cleaned, and the bed was very comfortable. The location seemed to work well for those who were out with friends having a good time. They also have a 24 hour Starbucks in the lobby, two bars one at the pool and one inside. They are also opening up what looked like a social lounge in the next few months. That's something to look for. There was plenty of parking but it was recommended to utilize the valet just as added security. Finally, if you're traveling with a pet, they will accommodate them too. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again. If you're considering this place, book it, they have so much to offer.

First night water scalding hot. Next morning no hot water. They said boiler broke. Fire alarms going off during conference session. Two times same day… Hard to hear and concentrate. Dirty towels in bathroom with makeup on them. My husband had to ask the cleaning staff for new towels. Comforter has blood stains. The robe hanging in bathroom you can tell has not been cleaned. You can see seat creases on back of robe where someone had worn it and sat down. The valet service is always helpful in answering questions. Don't bother asking conciere a question they don't like to be bothered. Hotel is dated and under construction. Really disappointed in quality or lack there of. People at my conference table checked out and found lodging else where. I am sure each person has different experiences, but ours is less than desirable. Would not recommend to a co-worker, friend, or family. The hotel manager did apologize to our Sunday group training for water incident, and slid a complimentary Star bucks drink card under door for inconvenience.

The hotel is 10 minutes away from the strip and is considerably more relaxed than the hotels in the strip. The rooms are very good, with excellent comfortable beds. The bathroom is slightly obsolete and small. The service is good. The hotel is undergoing some renovation, as the restaurant is located in one of the halls, the bar is exemplary and the casino is closed.

The hotel rooms were clean. The Westin offers a bar, pool, and gambling. Located about 1/4 mile away from the Las Vegas strip in walking distance. There are plenty of nearby dining options… Overall it's nice low-key place to stay.

Upon arrival, was disappointed to find that there was no longer at casino. I had scheduled a pedicure for my friend, it was the hibiscus pedicure, that advertised of lower leg massage, foot Milk Bath, and color. We were charged extra for removal of the gel polish that had disappeared on all of her toes except the big ones, it was a $15 charge plus tip. Her feet were soaked for a minute or so so in Blue Water, not a milk bath, and the lower leg massage consisted of a little bit of lotion applied. Very disappointed. In the bathroom, the grout in the tub shower area was disgraceful. I needed to print something from there Business Center, and was charged $7 for access to the computer and then another dollar for the printing. I don't understand how this happens when there is free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. I will not be going back, and I have used this hotel in the past numerous times.

Great spot just a couple of blocks from the centre of tje Strip. Nothing flash when compared to the fancy resorts up the road, but comfortable. As for the paid breakfast, skip it. It was $30 odd and not worth it! Plenty of decent places for food up the road.

This is a great place to stay! We got upgraded to the 16th floor, the view was towards the high roller ferris wheel just amazing! The staff treated us great! I would love to stay here again!

Las Vegas is not terrible at all but this hotel is very high quality. Large room and bathroom. Swimming pool and Jacuzzi on the second terrace. I recommend.

If you want your car broken into and your belongings stolen, then come to the Westin. Then was treated very poorly by staff and security after bringing this concern to their attention. There is no security cameras on the upper parking garage floors. Homeless people drink and urinate in the stair wells. I asked staff if I could view cameras to see who broke into my car and was told I was not allowed to. They will not help you and they do not care. Please spend your money with another hotel who genuinely cares about the people and customer service. I recorded the whole conversation between staff and security to show how badly they did treat me. Feel free to email me. Stay away from this place.

So enjoyed my visit there. The hotel staff was wonderful I love the pool I love the rooms I love the beds especially so comfy. So nice because it's a block away from the main road but yet far enough to weigh to where you don't hear all the hustle and bustle. Very close to In and Out Burger which was our favorite. Would highly recommend this place to everybody. They're doing away with the casino which was the last of last month however didn't really make a difference to me I can go gamble at any of the other big hotels on the strip.

Convenient and well located Hotel on the Flamingo Road around the corner from the strip. The property is well maintained and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. It is very quiet and doesn't have much movement at the casino and at the bar like the other more central but maybe it's better to stay quietly and still walk out to get to anything. It has a Starbucks inside so you can have breakfast here without using the one in the hotel. Recommended to visit the city, even for families.

It is strategic because very central but in less busy area. Very nice, free parking and Starbucks inside. Free Wi-Fi also for guests.

We walked into the Westin to stop and have breakfast at the Starbucks inside. Very quiet and comfortable place for breakfast, you can use free of charge the Hotel Wi-Fi.

Modern Hotel. Very spacious room Some problems with the keys: You could not open the door and after an hour of attempts we were assigned another room.

The hotel is well situated, close to the airport and to the strip. The staff is really friendly and helpfull. The pool is small but it wasnt crowded at all. And there as well the staff was fantastic. Our room was big and clean. The bathtub shows some age but a really good falloutbase to discover the city.

Very good Westin a couple blocks off the strip. Nice and clean rooms with all the extras. Smaller in scale with a great restaurant and casino that is a nice break from the giant hotels nearby. Gym could use an update, but good enough to get the job done. Also, a handy 24 hour Starbucks in the lobby.

Caution*****please read before you stay here. This hotel is only getting 1 star because you have to give at least 1 to place a review. Our room was clean. The hotel seems nice. However, my wife's purse was stolen from the room while we slept! There must be a scam with key cards. How else does one get into your room. I noticed a lot of noises with the door handle being jiggled and key cards used on the door but I thought it was just people getting the wrong room. I was very wrong. The intruder came in, took my wife's purse and then left the door open so to not make the loud shutting noise, I presume. My credit cards were hit, our passports, social security cards, checkbook and my wifes drivers license is gone. If that's not bad enough… the hotel manager, security officer and staff did not even apologize. They have not returned our calls. There are no cameras in the hallways and for these reasons I hope no one stays here. ***Btw Got a response from the owner after this post and it said they were glad they could assist us. Could the owner please respond back with exactly how he\she assisted us!?

This is not your normal Westin. In need of major renovation. Old and falling apart. The grand view of the Ferris wheel includes big ugly parking lot. Parking is free and okay but their elevator was out of service. A lot of patch fixes around the room. It is old… Just very old. Westin must've bought the property and stuck their name on it. Do not get fooled.

Got strip view, totally worth it. Got to see the ferris wheel from our window which looked awesome at night. Great friendly staff and nice rooms. Bed was pretty decent. Would recommend to friends.

Needed a room to spend an extra night in Vegas. The Westin is inexpensive compared to the Strip Hotels and it's fine/OK. Pros: The Heavenly Bed (the best in the business) ; public areas are much quieter and less foot traffic than the Strip Hotels. $5 minimum BlackJack tables. Cons: The walls are paper thin, you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms and the hallway. Showing its old age. The manager can be a bit argumentative at times. Definitely served it's purpose for one day… ONE day.

I stayed here in 2010 while on a tour of the US and really enjoyed it. The place is not exactly right in the middle of the strip but I guess that's what makes it a nice place to stay — away from all the rush. They also have a casino in the hotel which is nice for passing some time if you don't really want to go out that much. The room was comfortable; typical Westin service and quality.

This is not your typical strip casino, but that's okay because it's still a Westin property. Expect that you will have the same amenities that you are used to including a heavenly bed. The staff really went above and beyond to ensure that we had a nice stay and were comfortable. The casino is a little odd and empty, but it's a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the strip if that is what you are looking for.

The Westin is an amazing hotel. The rooms are very clean and the staff was friendly. We had a problem with a leak in our room and we were promptly moved to another room. Excellent customer service.

So far, the worst experience I've had with a hotel. Booked and paid for my reservation online and asked for early check in. I was told that it would be fine for me to check in early. I got here at 1pm and was told the room wasn't ready yet. Waited in the lobby for over 3 hours and still no text from the hotel to let me know if the room was ready yet or not. Normal check in time is at 4 pm. Went back to the desk at 4:30 pm and was told that the room still wasn't ready. I don't understand how check in time is at 4 pm, yet clearly after 4 pm, my room still wasn't ready. An hour later I went back and it still wasn't ready. It wasn't ready until almost 7 pm and check in time is 4 pm. I will never book a room here again.

I was very satisfied with my stay here. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant has a great breakfast, and the 24 Starbucks was very convenient. The hotel is a short walk away from the monorail allowing for easy transportation.

Was debating between a hotel on the strip and this one. Being spg platinum I finally decided to stay here. Just checked in and don't like the place. This place has no shuttle to anywhere and not even a lounge for breakfast. For the price I m paying per night I think I would like to stay right in the center of the strip next time.

I was impressed by the Westin. We were traveling with dogs and this is absolutely the best deal with only a $35 pet fee per room with a refundable deposit. Most of the hotels in the area charge an arm and a leg for a dog. Service was great, beds and towels were perfect. Only a block from the strip so great location for walking. We had a strip view room so we got to see the high roller right outside. We didn't end up eating at the restaurant or from room service. Overall, great experience.

We were late September 2015, during a tour for 5 nights in the "Westin Las Vegas hotel" with the aim to look at the sights of Las Vegas and taking excursions in the surrounding area.
Won't work better and we have compared, this hotel during our stay with many different hotels in Las Vegas.
There is to the a the ideal location, right in the middle of the Strip in a side street, right in front of the currently highest Ferris wheel in the world, the high roller in the
Entertainment complex "The LINQ".
From the hotel entrance, there are others. Just a few meters from the famous "Bally's Hotel & Casino", which on the world famous "Las Vegas Strip" is, so exactly in the middle of the action.
Also stops 'BIG-bus double decker buses, for a "hop-on hop-off-tour" by the Las Vegas as well as the Las Vegas "monorail, just a few steps from the hotel away.
Yet the "Westin Las Vegas Hotel" is very quietly located and has for guests who arrive the car, directly behind the hotel parking lot (and also free).

The Westin Las Vegas Hotel, Casino & Spa is a very charming place. The staff was upbeat and lively while keeping their professionalism in check. The décor looked fresh and maintained adamantly.

Weird mix of Vegas and Westin. The rooms are nice enough. The lobby casino is small and annoying. The bar the same. Since this is off — strip, it would be nice to have that feel. Put the casino off to the side with a small bar. Add a bar that's a refuge.

We spent 4 nights with my family on this hotel and everything was great. The staffs are great the environment is great for the kids because no casino at all for this hotel. The pool is awesome and The surround ambiance is totally great. We absolutely comeback for this hotel. I forgot to mention the lake view that gorgeous. Overall the experience was great. Not a huze & luxury but cozy and clean. Good people. Comp. Taste coffee and bottles of water. Think they do thrie best. Good place to stay. Service is 4 Star Facility is 3 Star.

One of the nicest off strip hotels there is. Great pool! Very quiet rooms, giant ferris wheel next to the hotel and one block to the strip.

I tried it on the weekend of one of hectic Vagas nights! I just wanted a bed to crash into and as close as possible to Strip St and kinda affordable! Everything was very good and beyond the expectations and the reviews. "A smart choice! ".

I was skeptical about this property due to mixed reviews. They appear top have listened as my stay far exceeded my expectations. From the Bellman to the front desk I was welcomed with professionalism and courtesy. Having stayed at many Westin properties as Starwood Platinum level guest, this was the best experience I have had in over two years. See my other reviews. The lobby has ben remodeled, offers a complimentary cocktail hour. The hotel is in process of upgrading all rooms. The Starwood Preferred level room I stayed in had an excellent layout and view as clean and well prepared with an awesome view of Las Vegas. They have a nice fitness center and for me their pool area and the length and cleanliness of the pool was excellent. I can not say enough great things about the staff and management who are so courteous and help;full and follow up event request that fasted I have experienced in years at Starwood properties. I have a very critical eye as I produce e event and our company is a professional meeting service company. Room service quality of the feed was excellent as was the timelines of promised delivery exceeded my expectations.

I read the reviews and this is not the horror stories I read. The hotel is older, but, clean and nice rooms. Is it not a 5 star Westin, NO. But, everyone was pleasant and very helpful. Checked in early, 11 AM and Karina, the front desk, was extremely polite and helpful. Offered us choices of rooms and check-in took less then 5 minutes. The room was older, but clean, bed, linen, and towels were up to Westin standards. Buba, the concierge, was extremely helpful with show tickets and directions. Happy hour every evening at 5 to 6, had snacks, with free beer or wine, (also soda and water). Everyday we had another bottle of water in our room. No SPG area, that would be nice. Close walk to the strip. We would stay there again.

I really like this hotel, it is just off the strip and yet close enough to walk anywhere you want to go. The hotel was very clean and neat. The breakfast buffet is awesome! They have a Starbucks in the Lobby if all you want is coffee in the morning. And it is not totally crazy in the lobby with the gambling. The Westin is located behind the the Flamingo Hotel and just a little south of the Linq and the giant farris wheel. The monorail is near by as well. I loved it, I hadn't been to Las Vegas in 25 years prior. Until we went last April 2014 for our anniversary. Now that I live in the metro Phoenix area I will likely go again on occasion and the Westin will be on the top of my list.

Do not stay here. The entire building shakes from the ac units. You hear a deep humming if you put your ear on your pillow. Sucks for side sleepers. Our view was of a wall 3 feet away from the window. The pool is tiny. There is nothing other than gambling to do. This is not a four star resort hotel. Oh yah. They also put a hold on my debit card for a week so I had no access to my money. Horrible stay. Never again.

I have stayed at Westin properties around the world, out of all of them this one would be my favorite. I would like to say thanks to a young gentleman named Scott with the engineering department, my stay was very nice but my room was uncomfortably hot and my TV did not work, after calling he came to my room quickly, with a smile, and fixed all my problems accordingly. The staff was great and I will be coming back in the future.

I stayed at the Westin Hotel on two different occasions (January 2014 and May 2014) and was happy with my stay both times. The hotel is not that far from the strip or Cesar's Palace, and when you eventually get on the strip you are somewhat in the middle of all the fun. I think the Westin is an affordable place to stay that has both the perks of being a walking distance from the strip but doesn't have the same amount of foot traffic as the strip. The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi and water bottles as part of the amenities. (Which I believe is approx. $20 a night). The rooms are clean and very comfortable! Both times I stayed here I got the view overlooking Flamingo Rd. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and would stay here again.

I arrived late on a Monday night/Tuesday morning and got placed in a room with spotlights shining in and lighting the walls up like a burlesque stage on the Strip. (Easily seen in the Google pic for these posts) 'Spoke to a desk person who claimed "there is nothing I can do, we are booked for 7 days in all the other rooms". Then she calls me back 2 minutes later and offers a handicapped room a floor up. (! ) I read my reservation confirmation to her which promised a high floor room and city view which I'm guessing she finally looked at more thoroughly and only then agreed to switch. Not a good start. Comfortable room at 2am, otherwise boring after that Admittedly, someone did call me (after I left) for feedback but when I tried to return the call it just rang without voice-mail or an answer. I felt like my "Gold" preferred status was worth zilch, at least in some hotels you get free internet — here it's in the "resort charge". My impression after this is like a PF Chang's restaurant, not a terrible product but with so many sharper and better choices it's worth skipping if you can.

Only for sleep it is good and has a good location for sightseeing.
