I always enjoy driving Highway 200 and shooting photos along the Clark Fork river. The Falls Motel in Thompson Falls is the ideal spot for exploring Sanders County, or planning a trip into the Cabinets. The hotel is super clean and the service is outstanding. No complaints at all.

We stayed two nights at the falls motel during Labor Day weekend. The ladies at the front desk were SUPER sweet! Room was clean and they allowed our dog to stay. We are back home in Washington now and today we received this post card from them, we were happy with our stay but we are even more happier to receive that post card because it shows they DO care about there customers! Next year when we go back to Montana. We WILLL be staying at the falls again!

Very nice, clean. Very reasonable.

This is a wonderful small town motel with excellent service. We had vehicle troubles And Sarah, one of the clerks went way above and beyond the call of duty trying to get us help on the Labor Day weekend when almost no one was open. We have found a new haven to get away from work. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The rooms were clean and well appointed.

Great find! We were not planning on staying in Thompson falls, just has a long day of driving and needed a nice place to stop. The Falls Motel exceeded our expectations, great staff and a very comfortable, clean room. Alot of times older motels are not kept up, not the case here! Clean, cozy, and charming. Easy walk down to the river, and to the few restaurants in town as well. Well definatly return! Thank for the nice stay and the postcard to thank us!

Priced right, simple and clean. No complaints from us. Why pay more for a overnight stay. Also gave us a recommendation on a great place to eat. They even followed up with a postcard thanking us for our stay. We will be sure to check here first is looking for accommodations if ever back in Thompson Falls.

Rooms were very clean and updated nicely. Price was very good and it is very close to amenities.

Well restored older model. Comfortable, Wi-Fi, microwave, cable TV. Will stay here again. Thompson Falls has a mainline RR so quiet is reative to location. Not so bad here.

I've stayed during the week for the last two weeks for work. Before we lefted during the first week I told em I would be back Sunday after leaving the next day to go home (Friday) they assured me no problem. When I got back Sunday my room was good to go. Anytime I'm in town I will be staying with them.

Worst Hotel! Owner kept calling me in the middle of the night and when I did not answer, he came over and pounded on the door. Why? He wanted me to turn off the fan. I mean, you can't make this stuff up. They are trash and now trying to sell the place. They never will.

We have stayed here many times. My wife loves this hotel. If you want a real Small Town experience and get to know real Montana. Stay hear. People behind the counter are friendly and helpful. This place is a half a block from the river. My wife loves her early morning walks with coffee. Excellent trails too see the beauty of Montana almost right outside the door. She always talks about the wildlife she has seen on the river. That kind of spousal response is why this place gets a 5. Happy wife, happy life.

This was our second time staying anf it did not disappoint… great price, friendly accommodating staff… walking distance to great diner… rooms are clean and well taken care of!

What a surprise… Looks pretty dated at first. But what a great value… Bed was really comfortable. Room was very clean… Shower was nice and powerful… I drive semi truck and it can be hard to find a motel with truck parking… The owners were very accommodating. And it's a bit of a walk to other other end of town but Big Eddie's is well worth it for dinner! No question. I will stay here again when in area… BTW the short walk over to island Park is worth it too.

One of the few options in town. Clean and hassle free hotel. They own a restaurant down the block that is AMAZING! This place was fully booked when I was there. Plan accordingly. It's a small town.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Room was very clean and bed was super comfortable. My room was under the office and it was very quiet. Would definitely stay again. Only con is bathroom is very small and there's no tub.

Very friendly staff, they do a lot to work with you to make your plans work out. The rooms are comfortable with microwave, fridge, and good Wi-Fi coverage. They show their age a bit, but everything works. Convenience store on the same block, restaurants and Pokemon stop within a couple of blocks.

I really wanted to like it — nice staff and clean. But the walls are paper thin, which means you can hear the train rip through town every two hours all night long, the heater seemed to have two settings: the deep fires of hell and off, and the bed was so hard it was like sleeping on bricks. I never fell asleep long enough to be rested, which is going to make hunting today very interesting. The staff was nice and helpful, but I would not recommend this hotel and we won't be back.

I have stayed here several times. The experience is consistently good: the rooms are comfortable and clean and the staff are friendly and helpful.

I stayed for two nights over the Thanksgiving weekend and couldn't be more pleased with my choice. The basic room came with minifridge and microwave, which was very handy. Also, the showers have amazing water pressure and are tall enough for me (6'4") which is unusual. And, the most important part, the beds were very comfortable. I highly recommend this for anyone traveling through this beautiful part of Montana.

I have stayed many times at the Falls Motel in the last couple of years, most recently on May 30, 2010. A new couple took over a few years ago and they have really fixed it up. New mattresses, new furniture, cable TV, and free WI-Fi. It is a good motel, clean and comfortable. And the people who run it are very friendly and helpful.
