I contacted Glacier Ridge Suites while in the process of looking for a permanent rental. Their monthly rate is outrageous and he claimed that he was cutting me a good deal. I stayed there for about six weeks (paid for two months) and when I gave notice of wanting to leave sooner he refused to refund anything because he said the monthly rate is the same as the weekly rate. I had someone occasionally staying with me and got pulled aside one day and said that I paid for one person not two and that it would be an extra $10.00 a day to have someone stay there and they would need to sign the agreement at the front desk immediately. There were constantly people in there while I was gone. I would leave the air conditioning on while I was gone for a little while and would come back and it would be turned off and the controller would be moved. One time I came back and there was a note that said don't turn it below 70. There was no notice when they would have the cable repair guy come and I had to leave the unit one day so they could be in there. Another time one of the cleaners opened the door without even knocking and tried to barge right in. There is absolutely no privacy. The kitchen is not fully equipped with everything and I found myself going and buying certain utensils and pots/pans. The internet is terribly slow.
I had a sudden death in the family and had to fly out to Kalispell and I had contacted Glacier Ridge Suites to stay there the day before I flew in. Upon arrival, my family had made other lodging arrangements for us so I called Kent at Glacier Ridge Suites to let him know we would not be coming and he said that I had to pay anyway, that he required a 14 day cancelation notice, which in my case would be impossible as I had just called the day prior and he never said anything to me on the phone about charging no matter what. He charged my credit card over $200 and now I have to go through the dispute process. BEWARE of this guy, he is sketchy and takes unauthorized funds from credit cards.

I was in a major car accident some months ago and a friend picked up from the scene who was living there at the time, temporarily. The owner, who have heard much about in this valley, came by and demanded that she move rooms for an important client. I was there for a very short period of time with my Medical Assist Labrador Retriever. The owner knows that my lab was a Medical Assist Service Animal and charged my friend's company $500. I have called Glacier Ridge and notified them of their mistake. At this time, I have not had a solution but will update this post with an changes necessary once they make this right. Obviously, anyone who knows the laws, knows that he is in the wrong here.
