We found this gem hidden in the mountains. Gene and Anne Marie are friendly caring hosts. Breakfast is all homemade with local ingredients and off the charts delicious. We went to Glacier National Park about an hour away. It was wonderful to have such a homey place to come back to.

This place feels like going home! Wonderful people and spectacular views.

The food is scrumptious, the owners are very welcoming, one feels right at home, I had a ounce in a lifetime experience here, the Garrison Inn has surpassed my expectations of what a B&B should be like, Anne Marie and Gene truly enjoy what they are doing and it shows

This is a fabulous place! Beautiful log home constructed on the side of a mountain. Giant timbers everywhere make it impressive, interesting, opwn, and also cozy and warm. Great warmth and friendship also come from host and hostess Gene and Anne Marie. Their love for this wonderful place is evident everywhere you look. Breakfast is wonderfully done by Master Chef Gene and I recommend the stuffed French Toast (he makes the jam stuffing). The wise will also have Gene prepare dinner and enjoy watching him do so. His favorite, and my wife's, is a stuffed filet mignon (sorry the exact name escapes me).
There is lots to do in the area, but just relaxing here with a beautiful view is a splendid way to unwind. Or sit out on the deck and enjoy the antics of hummingbirds buzzing the nearby feeders.

Gene was an exceptional host and owner. He is also a chef whose meals are superb! The View from the wonderfully decorated home is far reaching. Our bed was very comfortable and we slept soundly. We will definitely return.

Great place to stay. A true chef cooks made to order breakfast for you with a smile on his face. Get him to do dinner. It's far better than going out. Very comfortable with nice views. The hosts are fantastic and it's a reasonable rate. They make you feel at home.

What a special place! The owners Gene and Ann Marie are warm, and loving people, their hospitality is absolutely off the charts!
Our room was perfect just the right size with plenty of closet space and storage room.
Chef Gene's breakfast was so delicious, everything he puts on the table is homemade. You can taste the care and love he puts into every bite.
He makes the most delicious sourdough bread. He shared with us that his sourdough starter is close to a decade old.
We also had dinner that evening, which is offered to guests, and Wow! it was superb. Every bite exploded unbelievable flavors in your mouth, it was that yummy! For dessert we had the Amareto ice cream pie and I was delighted because it tasted like Christmas! Dinner was paired with a lovely Zinfadel wine from thier own winery, it was smooth full bodied Zin with incrediable depth yet still it was jammy. Each sip dance on our tongues!
Lastly, and worth mentioning is their 1 year puppy Willow, she really is the icing on the cake, she is so cute and she loves to hangout with the guests.
While you are here, the Garrisons make you feel like family and not just a guest, we found an ideal place to stay everytime we come to Ashely Lake! Thanks again Garrison Inn!

Gene and Annmarie's home is beautiful comfortable and very welcoming. Views of the mountains are spectacular. Breakfast was delicious the best three egg omelette I've ever eaten! When we come back to Montana we are definitely going to stay at the Garrison Inn again.

My wife and I recently spent an entire week at The Garrison Inn while exploring Glacier National Park. It was a FANTASTIC experience. Gene, Ann Marie and Sitka made our stay there very comfortable and memorable. They truly opened their home up to us and made us feel like family. The views from the cabin are gorgeous (not to mention the cabin itself)! Breakfast was great every morning and dinner was even better! As another reviewer stated, Gene's cooking was the best meal we had while on our week vacation! We would like to thank the Garrisons' for making our trip comfortable, enjoyable, and most of all memorable. Their hospitality was above and beyond and we look forward to spending more time at the cabin in the future!
