We saw it advertised with a pool but there’s no pool, bed is covered in holes and stains, air conditioning is semi running, no hot water, told the front desk guy and he said he didn’t want to call his boss and wake him up for a refund. There’s people walking corcles around and the constant smell of weed everywhere. We were trying to stay for our honeymoon and now it’s ruining it.

Furniture in room was shabby and bed spread had many burn holes. Brought this to manager attention he swapped out spread and chair. This breakfast area was terrible on Sunday morning, dirty tables, syrup all over floor, no attendant. Tried to checkout Monday morning, no manager around and could not get back in front door after loafing car. Worst experience we have had at a so called Wyndham hotel!

Horrible first impression! Property located in very industrial dirty part of town. The road to get to the property looks like a deserted factory driveway surrounded by junk yards. The lady that checked me in was very kind and efficient. Thin walls — can clearly hear people in next room. Dirty corners. Desk with bad erosion spot in the middle, room door doesn't lock and doesn't latch unless pushed tightly. Room 210 Overall BAD!

Intially room not cleaned, they tried to offer a different room it smelled of smoke. They cleaned old room but no attention to detail. Great location to getting on and off freeway for easy access to everything St Louis.

Either pay high or go a few miles out of the city instead for the same (or better) price and much better quality. This place is ghetto, they do have security through the night but most of the time we caught him sleeping in his truck. Building and rooms were run down mostly. Clean for the most part and we left without bed bug bites so I'll give three stars at best, but we wouldn't return again if even for a free night. Definitely not pleased with the price, location or service.

This hotel is in the hood! All those 5-star "reviews" you see… look closer, most are unverified, one-word reviews without even an initial for a last name! I'd bet they're all friends and family. We booked another hotel from the parking lot. Shady policies. Have to cancel before 4 pm for a refund BUT can't check in until 4 pm. Wonder why? My advice is to steer clear of this hotel.

I stayed there on March 19, 2018. I checked in about 10pm on my reward points. The girl at the front desk was dressed very nice and was knowledgeable and friendly. She did everything to make my check in comfortable. After check in I went to room 215. The room smelled of stale cigarettes and musty. The carpet had several orange stains. The towels were not white but a dingy color. There was something metal on the floor behind the chair by the window. Under the bed by the base board there was cobwebs candy and trash. It looked as if it had not been cleaned in a while like several months. Under the dresser/TV stand there was 3 cigarette butts and looks as if it has not been cleaned in several months also. The only good things about the room is the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. They did have security and he did a good job on watching the parking lot. They had a nice breakfast and the girl did a nice job on making sure everything was out and ready to go. All and all I don't think I would like to stay there again if I had to pay for the room. I hope they clean those things up before I stay again.

NOT in downtown as said, more like in the middle of the ghetto! I'm really going to be surprised if my car has rims on it still in the A. M. Our whole entire floor smells like weed, was so strong it worked it's way into our room. Most of the carpet throughout the place is staind. Employees are rude and act like they don't care. Pictures on the web site are way out date. Do NOT stay here!

Lousy location surrounded by gutted buildings, a junk yard with barking dogs, and crime. The 6 ft security fence obviously doesn't offer enough security by all the shattered glass in the parking lot. No one would park on the side of the building where there's less street visability. Side entrances were labeled emergency exit only. We were supposed to hall all of our luggage around to the front door (we didn't). The front desk has sliding bullet proof glass windows. The workout room was the size of a closet. Their idea of hot breakfast is a toaster and cold mini omelette you can heat up in a microwave. No pool. Some other reviewer says that he likes the jacuzzi…? Unless there's a secret VIP room, I can tell you that there's no jacuzzi. Walking with my 5 year old daughter down the hall to our room, you could smell Marijuana emanating from other rooms. The only positive thing I can say is that our room was impeccably clean.

The neighborhood is incredibly run down and unsafe. Perhaps located in the worst part of St. Louis. Do not walk the 2 miles to downtown. It would not be safe. The hotel is seedy. When I first arrived the whole place smelled like smoke. Breakfast is so limited that it is laughable. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

A lot of fun the price was right great Jacuzzi room. Very memorable stay.

Nice room. Neat bed. Spend three night over there everything was perfect… staff was so nice to me. I didnt even told them to give me extra towels but they did… really nice place to visit and above all the manager was so nice to me she take care of all the things and everything was perfect… had good sleep and then went for site seeing downtown is just 10 mins from the location… really had a good time if I am visiting next time in st louis I am definitely seeing you guys thank you once again.

It was fine, affordable, clean and very convenient to downtown attractions. Breakfast was fine, typical, minimal staff, quiet, secure parking, but nestled in an area in dire need of revitalization.

I did not feel comfortable here. Slept in my clothes and did not shower. Place was not clean. This is a place you stay at if you're broke, down on your luck or recovering from addiction.

The building hallway smelled liked strong weed. When we got to the room the tub had hair in it, the floor was not vacuumed, ALL the towel was dirty, the products was half filled the refrigerator had left over products in it and the microwave was dirty! DO NOT STAY HERE!

5 minutes into our stay, I found bedbugs crawling around on the comforter. We got moved to another room, which had huge stains on the carpet, blankets, and even the walls. This is genuinely the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The housekeepers were very nice, though!

Located in a horribly dilapidated part of town. Rooms have stale old cigarette smoke stench still. Only reason it gets any stars is cause the showerheads were better than most 4 or 5 star hotels and the staff was at least polite.

Not in downtown St. Louis! Do not stay here. The hotel description is 100% inaccurate. The hotel is in a horribly decrepit area of the city and not within walking distance of any downtown attraction. Even the desk clerk did not recommend walking anywhere in the neighborhood. Wyndham usually has better descriptions. Luckily the desk clerk cancelled the reservation for me. Otherwise I would be even more angered by the horrible inaccurate description on the Wyndham website.

Worker was cool. Location seems a little sketchy. Wish I would of seen a review like that prior. Security guard was nice as well.

Great coffee — strong like Starbucks. Great spacious room, bathroom, tub. Great location, just 6 minutes from the Arch. Great staff that helped me park my motorcycle in a safe area.

Avoid this hotel unless you are desperate. It was the most expensive hotel we stayed in on a 9 day road trip, and the worst one by far. The plus is that the staff was nice. The neighborhood is horrible (dilapidated tenements, drugs, people asking for money). The room was dirty and noise was an issue. Breakfast was slim — the dust and dirt on the furniture would have the FDA shutting them down. If you want to spend $150 for a suite, find another spot. In hindsight, I wouldn't have stayed there for $50.

In a pretty sketchy area. Carpets in rooms and halls were kinda dirty looking. Definitely was in need of some work.

The atmosphere is wonderfully modern, the staff is friendly, and nothing in the room seems cheap or hokey. It's located near a lot of great places (including the Thirsty Bear, which I would recommend checking out), and the hotel bar and cafe are top-notch. A little pricey, but well worth the money.

Really only used it to come back and pass out but the room was nice and allowed smoking for my friends. Only downside is that the walls were paper thin so you could literally hear everything your neighbors did.

I liked it there was no cable and it was a little noisy in the next room I just had to stay there for one night so for 130$ it was fine.

Fantastic hotel! The staff were very friendly and courteous, and the manager was especially helpful. Wonderful fitness room, complete with treadmill, stationary bike, and elliptical, not to mention the big TV. (Most hotels you're lucky to get a treadmill. ) The beds were super comfortable, and the coffee was amazing. They also have free Wi-Fi AND free parking! I definitely recommend this hotel, you won't be disappointed!

Hard beds. Internet did not work. The toilet was stopped up help desk line was vusy and noone around when went to get help. While the room appeared clean the rest of the hotel was dirty with stained walls and carpets Plus drunks hanging out in the parking lot with weed smoke stinking up the whole building.

One of the worst places I have ever stayed at. The internet basically doesn't work. Temperatures can be unbearable too. Terrible really. Inexpensive, but come to think of it, still VERY over-priced for what they offer.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! I am sitting in their lobby as I type this. I had booked this hotel for one night only and the next morning our car had been stolen. The hotel did not care at all. And the camera that was pointed at the car SUPPOSEDLY does not work. Even though the staff said they would show the police the camera once they got to the hotel. And then turned around and said the camera didn't work. I am sitting in the lobby because they kicked us out of our room even though our ride will be here in 30 minutes. I can guarantee you they don't need to clean the room for other customers as there is nobody here. Also there was a random man sleeping in the hotel lobby. Not a safe area. At all!

NO NO NO NO NO! BOOK ANOTHER HOTEL! I was in a rush to book online and didn't get a chance to read the reviews and booked in advance, HUGE MISTAKE! It is true it's only 2.3 miles from the arch but the area this hotel is located is awful, nothing but abandoned buildings with most of the windows knocked out, I'm not even sure why anyone thought it was a good idea to put a hotel there. Our view from the window was a broken fence overgrown with weeds. The carpets were filthy, the smell of cigarettes was overbearing and we stayed in a "non smoking" room. Our room keys had to be changed because they would only work half the time. I could hear our neighbors through the wall and every time someone left their room you could hear the doors close and other guests in the hallway at all hours of the night. The price was outrageous and I got charged for another night but didn't see it until I checked my account history, even though the receipt only showed the actual dates of stay. The police were their for some reason which wasn't surprising to me. It is fairly close to the Zoo and Science center but not at all worth jeopardizing you and your family's peace of mind.

Very BAD, DANGEROUS Don't ever never think about book it.

Terrible service and dirty, dirty hotel. Spend the $$ to stay someplace else! I originally booked for 3 nights but booked a new hotel for the next 2.

Finally. It's about 4:30am, we've landed at our 3rd hotel because the one we booked was a HUGE mistake. The pictures and reviews were pretty much fake. As we were arriving, it was very sketch and dark area with a bunch of graffiti everywhere. The only thing lit up was the hotel. Then, when we go inside there's nobody behind the BULLETPROOF glass at the front desk. It says to call using the broken telephone at the front. A few minutes later an older gentleman comes out from the door in the back of the office in his pajamas and a ripped up t-shirt like he just woke up from a coma. First he tells us that we should move our van to the front of the window where the security guard was sitting (watching TV in complete darkness. ) I kid you not, I thought he was a homeless man because his clothes was also ripped up and so baggy. The clerk gives us our room keys after I move the van to find that it was a smoking room when we went up. We got it switched (He was very nice). When we finally were about to fall asleep, we hear people yelling certain profanities in the room above us at 2:30am. At first, I thought there was a murder going on but then I heard laughter (Jodie say's it was an evil laugh). These people were not quieting down and I was worried that if I called the front desk, they would find out it was us and probably murder us too. Plus, we were worried our van was gonna get broken in to.

We stayed here last summer, and I have referred others there. The staff was personal and funny! Very helpful, and went over and beyond to make us feel like personal guests. Personal means a lot these days! Thank you Days Inn. It is a great value and I did not notice any odor like others mentioned. I stayed in a suite. I payed a little more and I'm glad, I had a kitchen and livingroom. I'll go again.

You get what you pay for. The room was clean, however, there was a hole in the wall that they never bothered to paint over after fixing. The carpets in public areas are in desperate need of replacing. The fitness center consisted of an elliptical, a treadmill, and a recumbent bike. I only used the treadmill, and it worked just fine. While it is located very close to downtown attractions, the location itself is really strange. Nothing around except really awful potholes. Breakfast area gets crowded easily. If you're looking for a place to stay while visiting WashU as I was, consider checking into a hotel located in Clayton instead, as this was a good drive away from the campus.

This is not a good place so stay. The room smelled of sewers and carpet was dirty. Someone came in our while we gone, went into the safe and took $100.00 from us. The safe was locked when left but when came back the door was opened! Of course the owner claims no one went into our room. Lesson learned stop renting rooms from Indians.
