Nice place. Very good breakfast. Lady that checked us in was helpful and very pleasant. Would definitely stay here again. Price was in line with motels/hotels in area.

I’ve stayed here 12 times thus far as a traveling business man. I don’t like staying in your typical hotel and this place is perfect. I love the history and ambiance. Each room I’ve stayed in has heat and AC, a fridge, and a wonderful weighted down blanket. I try to feel as if it’s 1865 while I’m here. The breakfast consists of coffee, orange juice, water, and a wonderful breakfast. I thank God places like this exist so old souls like mysel can enjoy this place w/o the riff raff. If you can’t manage your own life or remember a reservation, stick to the chain hotels. If the above quote offends you, the Drury Inn will be glad to have you and they serve a “free dinner. ” It’s a $40 dinner but you’ll love the soup kitchen feel.

Absolutely loved this mansion. Our room was lovely and spacious. The breakfast exceptional. We appreciate and respect what the owner has done to bring this beautiful home to what it is now.

We stayed here for a night on our way out west. It was such a treat! It's reasonably priced. The staff is amazingly helpful and kind. Our room had a tub that fits two people and it was so much fun. We had dinner at an amazing pizza place down the road. Our breakfast was delicious! They made us croissant sandwiches with farm fresh eggs, swiss, sausage and grilled peppers. It was served it yogurt, fruit and orange juice. I would definetely recommend staying here if you are ever in St. Jo!

The staff was very friendly and provided excellent guidance on exploring the town. The hotel's interior was creatively designed, the breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the room has very comfortable beds and suitable accessories. Reasonable pricing too.

Best BNB in st. Joe the owner is so kind and very informative he knows where all the great places are to go and visit from wine-tasting to museums love this place and the food is great.

Our experience at the charming Whiskey Mansion Inn was superb, with personalized service, delicious breakfast, a cozy room completely equipped, and an inviting holiday atmosphere which will bring us back for seasons to come.

I stayed at Whiskey Mansion with my sister and two cousins for a weekend get-together. Absolutely a beautiful house — loved that about it. But I think the person working was not the owner and didn't seem to really care if we were there or not. Not very welcoming. Disappointed in the breakfast because it was just a very sweet (too sweet) French toast in a dish kind of thing. We like a bed and breakfast for the "experience" (not just the beautiful setting) and we were all disappointed. I would absolutely recommend this home for a wonderful place to stay but would not recommend it if you want a warm and welcoming experience from the people running it.

My wife and I had our wedding and reception at this beautiful historic mansion. The owner has done an amazing job restoring this building to its proper beauty. After a wonderful evening, we woke to a delicious breakfast, would recommend staying here if traveling, or just need a night away.

Comfortable and cozy stay in this hidden gem near downtown. Friendly staff, good breakfast and great coffee. Owner was very informative on what to do around town. I recommend. We'll definetely come again.

As charming a place I've ever stayed. We loved it.

Accidentally booked the wrong day. Didn't get a phone call or anything on the night that I was a "no show" and they wouldn't give even a partial refund. They were plenty happy to just take the money and run.

Friendly, accommodating staff. Nice, clean, beautiful building! Breakfast was wonderful and filling! Parking is on street parking.

Stayed two nights in this beautiful old Mansion and loved it. My husband and I had never stayed in a bed and breakfast and needed to be in the St Joe area for a couple of nights and found this one while looking for a motel and we decided to give it a try. So glad we did. The room and furnishings were so beautiful. Everything was very clean and neat. The owner showed us around and made us feel so comfortable. The breakfast both mornings was very good and the young Lady that prepared and served it to us was great. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Very nice historic building. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were warm and well-kept. We especially liked the efforts made to restore the house to its original state, and the breakfast which was delicious. We visited during New Year's day, but it would be a beautiful place for summer days and nights, too.

The house was amazing! We had the water spa room and it was fantastic! Price was very reasonable. The breakfast was amazing! It is a great place to stay for a nice little getaway. I would stay there again.

Reasonable pricing, good food, good host. Very cool atmosphere, great clawfoot tub in our bathroom. I would recommend to a friend. Don't let the age of the house fool you, it has been extensively renovated with period furnishings and modern conveniences. Individual ac/heat in rooms, while not historically accurate, are a welcome touch.

Unbelievably beautiful home! Rooms are gorgeous and super clean. The owner cooks the breakfasts and they are devine! I will never stay anywhere but here when in St. Jo.

We decided to stay a night in the Tower room and didn't get into St. Jo until late at night. The owner made it his priority to get us settled in as soon as we arrived late at night. He went out of his way to make sure we had no problems with our stay and he gave us a run down on what the town has for entertainment. The bed felt amazing and for an old mansion, it has been kept up with VERY well. The owner's cooking for the breakfast was a solid 10, and the environment was very relaxed as we didn't have to come down and eat at any specific time or have any specific sitting placement. All the tables were already prepared with silverware and plates that were in great condition too. I would definitely come back here. Great atmosphere.

My husband and I love this place! Host is amazing and food is wonderful! It was the first b&b we had been to and we've gone back numerous times.

Wonderful. Olin is the best host. Rooms: Excellent Food: Excellent Price: Excellent. Why would you stay in a hotel when you can stay here for less and the accommodations are out of this century. This is the ONLY place I stay when in St. Joe Mo.
