What a cute little gem of a find! The manager are a super friendly couple. The rooms clean, spacious and the beds comfy (if you like soft beds). Was not expecting this to be as well kept and clean as we found it. And for a VERY affordable price! Would most definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Stayed there 9/12/19 nice quiet rooms really clean, Beds were very comfortable A/C worked great even with 90 degree outside temps. I talked with the owner and his wife both were helpful with information. Will stay here again. Very nice road side hotel.

Great service from the manager. He was accommodating even for my late check in (near midnight). Room 21 was clean and had a comfortable bed! I will definitely stay again!

We stay here every year. We are always happy with this establishment! The owner is very nice and always very accommodating. It’s not a four star hotel but its always clean!

We had a very nice stay at the Dogwood Motel! The gentleman who checked us in (after 10pm) was very friendly and helpful. He had our air conditioner on and our room was cool and comfortable when we arrived. Everything inside our room and around the property was very clean and tidy and the rates were very reasonable. It exceeded our expectations! We would definitely stay here again!

Attendant was very friendly and accommodating. For some reason when we got to the room the air conditioning was plugged in, and there was a light that didn’t work. Even when I got a new bulb, it still wouldn’t work. It did have a nice little outside pool, the man did my laundry for me for a 10 dollar fee and brought it back to my room. It was reasonably quiet and comfortable.

My husband and I stayed here a couple of weeks ago. The room was really, really clean. The manager is very nice and obviously takes pride in how the motel is run. The place is a little dated, but the low price, cleanliness, and friendly service, more than makes up for it. We will definitely stay there again next time we have to be in Mountain View.

My children loved the pool. The owner was nice. However, the motel was older which I knew before going. The bed and sheets were super old. There was a very dusty old fan sitting on the night stand. Old tv, every show had a green color to it. The shower had a bath mat in it which was sticky so I wanted to take it out. When I tried to lift it, it was stuck and was all moldy underneath. I don't want to leave a negative review, but I want to be honest in my review.

It is a nice little motel and it was clean. A bit on the older side but over all good.

The motel is your everyday average motel, cute decorum, clean and well maintained. The customer service however is fantastic beyond compare! Extremely friendly! I don't know if the gentleman was the owner or manager but 10/10 will recommend to everyone and will be my choice to stay if I'm ever in the area again! Pet friendly with $10 deposit per pet was a welcome bonus for us weary travelers.

This is the cutest little place tucked away in Mountain View. The owners are very sweet. It was a quiet little place we were so thankful to find. The best money we spent on our trip. Clean room, clean pool, nice people. This place had better reviews than some of the hotels in town which is why we picked it. We enjoyed our stay.

What an absolute *gem* for Mountain View! We were so thankful to find a comfortable, clean place to call 'home' for a few days while we visited from the Pacific Northwest. DC is an outstanding host, always bustling about to be certain you have your needs met and offering to help with those even outside of his job description. True 'Southern Hospitality'! The cleaning staff are prompt and courteous and we were happy to have such a delightful stay in this modest inn, with a sweet vintage flair. We HIGHLY recommend!

Nice surprise here. The price drew me there but my room was very clean as was the entire facility. Management was friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend staying here if you're looking in the area.

Good price. Old school motel, all on one level. Clean and well kept.

The price was great and so was location. The coffee pot was stain and dirty, I did not use. The fridge was not plugged in so it didn't get cold enough to use until the next morning.

Very nice man that runs the place and accommodating it is a good place to stay if you're on a budget.

Great experience! We decided to take a spur of the moment trip, then found out it was the Blue Grass festival. The owner of this hotel not only held a room for us, but even offered to help us unload the car when we got there. (we were traveling with a 10 month old). The place is old, but very clean. Beds were fairly comfortable. The rates more than reasonable. Excellent customer service!

Very good motel for the value for the dollar clean staff is good better than I expected we'll stay again when I come back to Mountain View.

Love this place because ALL rooms are 5 feet away from your parking place. Best place for scooter people… Clean and cheap scores big points with me.!

Pleasant and very clean. Older motel under caring management. A variety of decorating styles that seem to work together to provide a sense of peacefulness. Linens and towels a bit frayed, but neat and tidy. Everything spotless. No 'old motel room ' odors. No overpowering scents of room sprays or cleaners. A/C worked well. Older tv, but it worked ok. Power charging strip by the bed was appreciated. Traveling alone and felt very safe here. I slept well. Hot water plentiful and instant. Outside privacy screen over the window was a nice touch. Very good friendly management. Well done.

We really enjoyed our stay here at Dogwood Motel. DC checked us in when we arrived. I have never met a more pleasant man. The service was excellent. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We even came back for the 2nd night instead of going on to the next town. We will definitely be back to visit again.

Owner/operator couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. However, sheets on our beds were threadbare and actually had holes in them. Needs updating!

Despite mixed reviews, it wasnt that bad. Pool was clean and warm. Area was decently quite. The beds weren't terrible. The room did need updating, but I would stay again.

Very first time visited mountain view. My friends referred me Dogwood Motel to stay. It was fabulous experience staying there. Rooms and beds were clean, bug free. Manager is very friendly and helpful. They have a big and very clean pool I have ever seen, all the facilities what you expect in such a low price is available (free Wi-Fi, microwave, refrigerator, ice — machine, t. V). Very quiet place to stay. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here several times. Last year we booked a room with the previous owners. However the previous owners did not let the new owners know. When we got there over the memorial day weekend, Dc informed us he didn't have a room for us for that night because of the previous owner's lack of communication. However, DC was more than accommodating. He did have a room for us for two of the nights we booked and he charged us a discounted rate. He also helped get us a room at the D…ays Inn down the street which I never would stay at again, but that's a different story for another day. He called us the next day to let us know when the room was ready which he had to clean himself because the housekeeper did not show up. The room was very clean and comfortable. This is not a modern motel with all the bells and whistles but the service is good. If you don't think it's all that great, then stay at the Days Inn for a night and I guarantee you'll be running back to the Dogwood.

The rooms were not clean. Blankets were badly stained. It was not a safe environment for child. I feel as if the police department should make their presence known there. We took a mini vacation and needed somewhere to stay so this was where we chose. If we are ever in that area again, we will rent the cabins that are available. This was a horrible experience for me and my family.

This place is horrible! The pictures and description online make it look like a nice place to stay but, when we got there it looked like it would be ok to crash for the night until we noticed some shady activity going on and the front desk obviously knew about it, and was probably in on it. There were two rooms that were being frequented by different people all night, as well as the occupants going and getting into different vehicles that arrived, then exiting ten to fifteen minutes later. Definitely drugs and/or prositution. I feared for my child's well being so I always had my gun on me. And if that's not bad enough, the sheets and comforters were stained and smelled. I slept on top of them with my clothes on, and armed. There was no hot water when we went to take a shower, and no phone to call the front desk. I guess I don't have to tell you I won't be staying here ever again.

My husband and I own a food truck and afrer a long hard day of working all we want is quiet nights sleep and this is just what we got. The motel is an older motel true to the time it was built. It has a swimming pool but it wasn't open when we were there. The rooms were clean, bug free (I always check), cozy and best of all quiet. There was a fridge, microwave, TV & coffee pot. Everything I need. The manager was very nice as well. When we visit Mountain View again we plan on staying here. It's great value for what we paid.

Give it 4 stars because they have clean rooms and very ammodating and very nice management. It isn't an extravagant but clean, quiet and very refreshing staffing and personality.

Super clean bathrooms and showers.

It's nasty we checked in got to the room pulled the colors back and found hair! the bathroom walls are peeling. Hardly no hot water. The Wi-Fi sucked… woke up to a cock roach crawling on the wall. Changed my reservation price that I was supposed to pay… wont be back to stay here.
