My wife and I visited yesterday morning Saturday, May 5, 2018 around 8:30 AM with the intention of purchasing al room for a Client of Ours who was enroute to town. As we walked up to the front entrance, the automatic doors were closed for some reason, as we looked to see how to enter to approach the front desk, a bellman was exiting and allowed our entry. The attendant was helping another customer so, the wife says I'm going to the restroom, I said, let me use the restroom too instead of waiting. After about 2 minutes in the restroom (handling my business) an older Asian man comes banging on the restroom stall door telling me, "You need to leave, this private property, the police are being called. I said, "I'm here to book a room", he replied something inaudible, and came back banging on the stall door. I finished my business and went to wash my hands, only to have a Security Guard at the door telling me to leave. I explained I was here to book a room. They said "No this is private property for customers only, you aren't welcomed here. ". I then go to the front desk to ask for the General Manager, I'm told there was no manager on site. I asked for a card or direct number. The woman asked what happened, I explained why I was in the building in the first place, but that I wouldn't be doing business with any business that treats its customers that way. She told me I was lying and had no room to book… I really believe "appearance had more to do with this than anything else. I'm just saying… Guess who won't be spending another dollar with Marriott, its Partners, or Subsidiaries.
