Decent hotel. Dated rooms and furnishings. Some members of our group got rooms that had broken A/C, bad plumbing, etc. Breakfast is good, decent selection. Right nextdoor to the wastewater treatment plant. Odors observed. Would not stay again simply because of the WWTP nextdoor.

Disgusting! Dirty! Breakfast is nasty, Taste old. Rooms stay dirty for more than a week, an employee told me its because they don't have alot of housekeepers because the owner doesn't know how to keep employees. The trash from the hallways don't get thrown away on a daily basis. I dated for 3 nights 4 days nd the same trash was there still, overflowing. The rails are dangerous, if you even touch them they wobble. My refrigerator wasn't working. When you check in, they tell you to check if the ac/heater works and if the remote control works. Horrible hotel.

Clearly Ariel struggles with email because three times we have called for them to send receipt and nothing… Bad experience for our first Quality (? ) Inn attempt… Maybe its all of Minden and Gardnerville…

Happy to say this place exceeded our expectations — clean, extra food if needed in the afternoon (yogurt and hard boiled eggs) we had a college hockey team with us and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Room clean.

Very peaceful place to stay! The surrounding beauty is also mesmerizing.

For the price people seem to be expecting too much. A doable place to stay, television, heater, and had the necessities required for my stay.

Twenty years ago this hotel was acceptable. 2017 this hotel is not even a 1 star hotel. The side walks are dangerously erroded, the rooms are old, musty and completely outdated. The front desk clerk was kind enough to cancel my reservation.

Like they said in one of the online descriptions, simple place, clean, only complain is that staff on front desk in morning was not paying much attention to the guests but was babbling away with a co-worker, eggs were gone and noticed a few guests not saying anything and just turning away to eat somewhere else. I politely interrupted their conversation and told her about the eggs and she still did not do anything. Other than this incident I still like this chain of motels.

Easy check in, warm breakfast included, quick check out. Booked through Expedia and it could not have been smoother.

Location is a bit far, but worth the price and the quality is apt for pricing. Comfortable.

Dishonest. We called to cancel a reservation more than 5 days in advance of our stay. The manager (Deena) informed us that she would be able to cancel and we would not be charged. We would not have cancelled had they not agreed to a refund. A few days later we were charged for the full stay ($409.96). I promptly called to inform them they had still charged us for the room. I was told the reservation was non-refundable, our reservation was cancelled and we would not allowed to stay at the hotel. This was two days before the check-in date of the reservation but we still had to find another place to stay. They charged us even though there was no services rendered.

The room was clean, friendly front desk, breakfast was great.

It was really nice that people were very friendly and helpful. It was a lot better than I thought it was going to be I was very pleased.

The room is nice. Room service does a good cleanup and keeps things tidy. It's a cold town and this heater works really well and the room stays really warm. All in and all its a really cozy home away from home.

Good hotel with great customer service. Only negative is the internet speed as it is less than 1 MBP down.

The price is decent. The room had a small dining table, a TV, heater/cooler, and a full bathroom. The heater took time to work well, but it worked eventually. There is an outside pool only for summer. There was no hot tub. In the lobby, you can get coffee and tea for 24/7. They offer free breakfast from 6 to 9 on weekdays, or 6 to 10 on weekend. They served self cook waffles, bread, pastries, bagels, gravy, eggs, sausages, cereals, and fruits. Not so many gluten free options, but it is still nice to have a cup of coffee or tea in the morning.

Things started out pretty good upon arrival… the first evening the ac/heater unit wouldn't work so we had to have the front desk lady come to our room. She had to place a chip of some sort into a light switch to get it working. The TV in the room is a box unit (old style) the screen flipped making it unwatchable until my husband adjusted the wires and cable boxes. Two remotes are needed to work the tv, one to turn it on, the other to adjust the volume and change channels. Shortly after having the ac/heater working we heard dripping noises… the faucet in the bathroom was what we found out to be just one of the issues. The ac/heater was dripping water as well and continued to do so for the 9 day stay here. Front desk was notified but never actually checked out the problem neither did maintenance as we had the chance to talk with her as well. The ac/heater unit also allows rain to come in drenching the carpet in about a 2 foot area around the unit. Two of the reasons we chose this motel was… a blow dryer (I hate having to pack one for travel) and the onsite laundry… which later I found out that I needed to request a blow dryer… on site laundry doesn't exist as the laundry room only contains an ice machine and the dispenser for laundry supplies. Front desk informed another guest that if the maids have time they might do the laundry. Mirror on the wall was never cleaned. We had to ask at one point to have our room cleaned.

Good room (but heater didn't work) and average breakfast.
