Good price for a decent night's stay. The woman at the front desk was very nice, I'd stay again just because of her.

Quiet and relaxing visit. Our room was very clean, AC worked & bed was very comfortable, staff was very professional, location is near several restaurants. They offer warm breakfast good value for the price. Thank you we enjoyed our stay!

I stayed at Super8 Marshall MO in May 2018 and we found thie property is catering basic needs of traveler like me, ie neat and clean room, good airconditioner, spotless pillows and towels, basic breakfast like hot waffles orange and apple juice, coffee, cereals etc. Super8 is near to Super Walmart, 3 gas stations, and couple of restaurants, all within walking distance. This is best motel in town for getting best value for your money.

Okay, I'm going to be brutally honest with you. Just avoid it. The people that work the front desk were extremely and openly racist and don't do any maintenance on the rooms. Let me just give you a few examples. I had to fix the toilet myself. There were blood stains on a few of the walls in the room we stayed in and one of the lamps were broken and the shade was "secured" by a zip tie. One of the chairs were completely demolished, and the towels looked like someone wiped their ass with them. And they had the nerve to try and blame that last part on our boss whom I happen to know is a very cleanly person. Pretty much nothing worked properly. If you're looking for a good spot to stay, try the hotel across the street — next to the gas station. They have better rates and nicer staff.

Booked for a week at a time and they only changed sheets every 7 days… yuck.

This place is horrible. They wanted a deposit because it was "supposed to be a non smoking" and it was a fun smoking. If you don't have to stay DON'T.

Rude, hard to understand staff. He became short and said I had an attitude for asking questions about amenities. He also raised the rate $20 for 1 night because there was a graduation in town. I would have given 0 stars but it would not let me post without it.

The worst hotel I've stayed in… The manager is rude and nosey.

The room was visually appealing but once you got into bed the issues arose. First the TV did not work which the front desk lady took care of. Then through out the nite my buddy in the other bed and I starting scratching like something was biting us. We both took turns showering thinkn it would help but quicky found out all they had was cold water. We informed the front desk of the issues and they called us liars basically but it was hard to tell exactly what was being said since the lady speaking with us spoke very poor English then would get mad at us when we couldn't understand her. It several days to speak with someone about the issues and they said they couldn't help us since the owner was in hospital and he can not be disturbed. The lady I spoke to again spoke very poor English and was rude explaining to me that only got knows and that she felt I was a good guy but that she knows I didn't have the issues I came to her with. I think this hotel needs alot of help in customer service and how to handle to issues I will not be staying there ever again.

Clean room, no smoking but smoke coming into my room from other rooms. Waffle dispenser didn't work, weak coffee and to warm in motel. Even in lobby. From 1 to 10. I'd give it a 5.

It was ok room could be a little bigger, I feel as though it was over priced. It was quiet not any racket or group of people just moving around. They offer breakfast that too could have been better for the price.

A mediocre experience. The man and woman working the front desk were friendly and helpful. The condition of the room appeared to be clean, but it could use an update. The furniture was dated and so was the bed. The pillows were flat and only 3 on a king sized bed. The bathroom definitely needed an upgrade. Peeling linoleum around the edge of the tub, caulk peeling around the top of the shower, and I saw black ants in the bathroom. The shower head could use an update as well as it was exceptionally awkward. For the price, it was probably slightly overpriced. It fills a niche in a small community so they probably have the option to set the price they want.

People who own motel are rude, and obnoxious and greedy (older couple are nice, but other members of family are rude and hateful). Rooms are not clean, maintenance is not done properly. They overcharge, and if you don't have cash or credit card, they stub their noses at you. Want to serve warm milk for breakfast, no microwave or frig in all of the rooms. They want their money for nights on multiple stay reservation before checkout time and get very rude if they don't get it immediately. I would not recommend this motel to anyone. It is overpriced and if you need to check in ahead of normal check in they will charge you for it no matter what the reason is. Don't like to give your private information back to you when you are ready to leave.

We stayed there last night and will never stay there again. We picked up all our trash and made sure the room was cleaned before we left and 3 hours later they called us and said the room was trashed totally and it was not they were trying to get more money out of us after already paying over 100 dollars for a room. They are ripoffs and I would never stay there again ontop the room was filthy and not clean at all when we got there.

The website clearly states that this hotel is pet friendly. What they really mean is that they accept dogs. And only 1 dog. We had made reservations days in advance. By the time we got to the hotel it was very late at night during a thunder storm and we were unable to get our room because we had a dog and a cat. They cancelled our reservation and turned us away. Super 8, you really need to clearly specify on your website what you mean by "pet friendly" and explain that on the phone when people make reservations and tell you that they have pets. 0 stars.

The rooms were dirty when we checked in and the front desk attended was not willing to let us have room for just one night. They wanted us to purchase multiple nights or none.

Very shabby. Needs a major remodel. The fan on the air conditioner was very loud & we couldn't turn it down enough to make it quiet. The breakfast consisted of apples, cereal, little packaged rolls & coffee. Not worth the almost $100 it cost. Won't stay there again.

My dad and I just needed a place to lay our heads while taking a road trip. The rooms were here clean, everything worked well and the reception staff was very nice. The receptionist offered to make my dad a waffle for him and was very kind and professional.

Horrible customer service, stinky rooms, heater is a joke, website says one price charged $30.00 more. Took them 30 minutes to even open the lobby so we could get a room… Not worth the money or the drive! HORRIBLE PLACE TO STAY!

Stayed in Super 8 in Marshall had a space heater for heat and no smoke detector in the room. Other than that it was on.

I can honestly say this is one of THE WORST hotels I have ever stayed at. Planned a weekend trip to visit family. Booked this hotel for two nights and ended up only needing one night. We weren't allowed to cancel the second night even though I had alerted the hotel of this change a day and a half before checking in. Not sure why this wasn't allowed and I still don't know because the service at this place is awful. The front desk is no help and could not answer one question I asked. The rooms are severely filthy. The smell of the lobby and rooms are a mix of smoke and vomit and the appearance is not easy on the eye either. The rooms are very outdated and it is visible in the quality of the beds, tv, bathroom, and buidling in itself. Window was broken, therefore it stayed open 24/7, the shower was so dirty that we laid a towl down on the floor before stepping foot into it. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Marshall, MO.

Peggy, the concierge was absolutely wonderful! She treated me like a daughter. I had a terrible first experience when I first got there and realized my reservation was for another super 8 in Iowa, long story, however Peggy kept me from wanting to cry, she gave me a cup of water, made phone calls for me, and made sure I was comfortable. I appreciated her kind heart! Nice super 8. Peggy was amazing!

I am a business traveller — a high speed internet connection with good reception is very important for me. But most places have unsecured access. This is different. I wanted to get some work done. Accomplished.

I have tried to call several nights in a row after 10:30 pm to make reservations but can never get thru. Line is always busy. I think someone must like to talk on phone. Still don't have reservations guess I may have to call other motel.
