I was surprised at how clean and orderly it was on the inside. It appears that a lot of work was put into renovations and upgrades. My room was clean and spacious (you could of slept 4 adults in the room if you wanted to and it was a double queen not even a suite). The outside is deceptive as I was not sure what I thought we might be pulling into. That would be my only suggestion to do since upkeep on the front of the building.

Location is fine — a bit outside Alexandria. They're making a big effort to make changes to this location, and you can tell. New bathroom floors, a new AC unit, and never-used iron and ironing board were found in my room. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A good budget buy.

All I can say is you're gonna regret it. The bed was not clean, the fridge would not work. The TV was old and hard to see with no HDMI hookup. What are you paying $100 a night for? I checked out with an hour of checking in and the very nice lady working couldn't give me a refund because her manager wasn't available.

Clean rooms and good service. Great hotel to stay a night or two.

I've stayed here a few times and it has always given me exactly what I needed… a shower and a bed. If you just need a place to rest for the night and you're not too particular about staying at a really nice place, this motel will likely suit you. My suggestion is to book thru Expedia, or one of those booking sites. When I was checking in, the guy in front of me paid $30 more for the same room.

The owners were pretty good to us there. Stayed there twice. Once about a year ago and this last stay we stayed for about 3-4 weeks. Shower decently hot. Internet is so so Plenty of places around to eat.

Beautiful water fountain in front, that the gentleman who runs establishment made hisself. Very friendly and accommodating. Room was very nice and pleasant. Very clean. Bed very comfortable. Will stay again. Thank you.

The motel was clean, ad had everything a person would need like coffee pot, hair dryer, iron, but when I moved the alarm clock German Roaches went every where.

Stayed for 2 nights. The first night was fine, no problems other than the shower being a little dirty and there was some leftover soap on the sink counter that was not cleaned. The second night, we stayed in a different room which had an even dirtier shower that had CLEARLY not been cleaned in quite some time. I was woken up after a few hours by my roommate who had been bitten about 5 times (on her face, neck, arm) by something. When she pulled the blankets back, there were 2 bed bugs. As I looked around the room and bathroom, I noticed german cockroaches also. We went to the front office and told the manager what happened and he did not seem surprised at all which indicates to me that he knew there was a bug problem. He gave us a different room, which did not appear to have bugs but was still not super clean.

They were very helpful the room was okay it wasn't allowed there wasn't noisy people it was quiet I got good rest.

I am a casualty of houston's flooding and was transported to alexandria for shelter. I was then allowed a motel room and was pleased with my choice. The staff at days inn were so warm, friendly and helpful I felt like I was at home (and they were pet friendly). My room was clean and my bed was so comfortable. I would definately stay again. Thanks days inn.

In a few simple words "This place is all patched up'! Black Mold. The wall with the shower behind it was very soft. The air wasn't working well, so I removed the air vents and they were black. The room is only surface cleaned, housekeeping walk around smoking cigarettes while cleaning the rooms, with an ashtray on the cart. Seemed to have tweakers, the room above me had occupants that paced the floor all night and continued when I woke up the next morning. After waking up walked to the office to get coffee, which was very good, and was greeted by a tweaker and as she walked passed me, said hello and started speaking in tweaker language and asked me if I liked sweet tea and offered to bring me a glass of tea. ⛔

Provided complement breakfast. Nice place to stay overnight.

This place is a piece of crap. Do NOT stay here at all costs. It wreaked of cigarette smoke. There were cigarette burns in the covers. The shower head was falling out of the wall and only came up to my chest anyways. The floors were disgusting. There was literally a hole where someone had punched the wall. The alarm clock didn't work and one of the sockets had burnt marks. The smoke detector looked like it had been on fire. And so did the hair dryer. This place needs to be shut down. The picture you see was probably took in the 70's.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I only stay here one night and would never come back. They had mold on the ceiling, room smell like mildew. Went to take a shower and wipe my hand across the bottom of the tub and white stuff was on my hand. Phone didn't work in the room. Light kept coming on by itself. Chain lock for door was broke and turn lock didn't turn all the way. The front office will fool you.

Door locks did not work because the door frame was busted, phone had no sound or dial tone, A/C knob missing, something had eaten holes in the blankets, and the bugs. bugs. Are. Unacceptable. Shower was just hanging at 9:00 because the drywall around it was dry rotted and falling out. Wi-Fi was inoperable due to incompetent password management. I will stay under an overpass before I EVER set foot in a Days Inn again.

I enjoyed my stay. If I have to choose again I will. Employee was great and room was very clean.

The staff was very very helpful. If you are going to charge phones and tablets well if you unplug the coffee pot and hair dryer then there is a place. The desk had no electric. We carry an extension cord or there would not have been no outlet for the laptop. Room was clean and neat but micro wave was out of date. I had to figure out how to turn the dials to make it work. It is dated but would stay again. It was quite. And again the staff was really helpful. McDonald's is across the parking lot and Walmart down the road.

This place is horrible and dirty. I wouldn't stay here again. The door is held open by piece of block. Very dirty!

My daughter booked a reservation about 3 weeks in advance, no cancellation clause. When we checked in we had driven 5-1/2 hours and were really tired. The parking lot was empty at 5:30 p. M. We had to leave there at 6:00 a. M. The TV didn't work, the room was dark so I took off a lamp shade and it had a half inch of dust under it. The carpet was filthy and the room smelled really musty. Ok, we're in a hurry, no time to get moved to another room. 124 was the one assigned to us. At 4:00 a. M. My daughter took a shower and came back to her bed and noticed a bedbug which she smashed with a book, then noticed another one right where the pillows were. She took the bug in a napkin to the desk. Talk about freaked out. Monday night. Today, Wednesday I finally got a call from their manager and offered me a 10% discount. She said they had pest control come in and they found nothing, making me sound like we had brought them in. Now they have the two bugs and a so-called report from the pest control people. Never will I ever go to another days inn again. I will also post it on facebook and tell everybody I know. Thank you very much Sleep Inn, appreciate it so much. After we got home (with contaminated luggage in our car), I spent all night washing clothes and today taking stuff to the cleaners because it was not washable. Poor excuse of management. Never again. What, I get approximately less than $9.00. Wow, so generous. I spent more than that on just washing stuff.

Service was very good, but room door was difficult to close.

Not a luxury hotel by any means. But the staff there are very helpful and accomodating. It's a simple and very clean place. And is also very affordable.

Stay for one night was $100, I don't mind paying that amount for an ok hotel. This was not the case. Microwave and iron didn't work. Breakfast sucks! When I went to the front desk to ask for a clean towel, it was given to me with lot's of dirty marks and the girl at the front desk said that's all they had. Restroom toilet and bathtub were filthy, we had to put a towel in the bathtub b/c we didn't want to step inside of it. We received a non-smoking room and smelled really bad! This hotel should NOT charge more than $55 and that's including taxes.

This hotel is ok, just ok. I had 2 dirty towels on my bathroom floor when I arrived, had only one hand towel and it smelled musty, the dust on the air vent in the bathroom was so thick you could not see the metal beneath it. There was a deadbolt lock and chain lock, but there was a space between the door and the door facing that you could get a finger through. It isn't as bad as some of the older reviews said, but if I had another choice I would take it. It was a holiday and a last minute thing so I took what I could get. After I pointed out the problems, they refunded part of my one night stay. I won't stay here again unless I am forced to. I thought the 5 sunbursts on their rating meant something, but I think the staff had warning when the rating team was coming to make it a 5 sunburst rating. Sorry but I couldn't recommend it.
