The place was great. Kitchen included in a 1 bed room. Just was great and friendly.

I was here last weekend for a wedding. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the staff was lovely and very accommodating. I highly recommend as a venue, a place to stay on vacation, or as a quick get-away!

We had our wedding reception at Hotel Storyville this past weekend and couldn’t have been more thrilled! Barbara is WONDERFUL and she made sure every detail was perfect. Our guests raved about the food and the beautiful courtyard! We had a perfect night that we will always remember.

We got engaged here this past weekend! What a great hotel. Very close walk to both Bourbon and Frenchmen Streets. The room was clean, loved having our own kitchen and the view of the backyard was incredible.

From start to finish, staying at Hotel Storyville has been an awesome experience. Barbara Ann is a very hard worker, and she really went out of the way to give us the best experience possible. This will be my first choice for all future New Orleans visits!

The owner of this hotel is completely unprofessional don't ever stay there. She is unreachable by phone and email, and seems to always conveniently be out of the office so never has any answers to any of your questions. After driving in from Austin Texas, an eight hour drive, we were informed that she had given our room away due to a wedding party even though we had spoken with her earlier in the day to confirm the check-in time… I was in tears, worst experience of my life! We will never ever try to do business with this terrible woman again!

Great, personable hotel. Clean, safe, reasonably priced. It feels more like staying in a home than a hotel. The courtyard is simply beautiful, and the management is incredibly nice.

Just checked into this little jewel, and was not disappointed at all. All of the rooms are so clean and beautiful, and no musty smell at all. The owner is super friendly and welcoming. There's a nice balcony, and a wonderful courtyard garden in the back. You can bet that any time I come back to the area, I'll be staying here!

Hotel Storyville truly lived up to its name.   My wife and I lived a fairytale dream during our stay there.   The beautiful Island colored interior & decor settles easily with the peaceful picturesque scape of the mermaid bar and tiki hut.   This little hidden treasure is something you want to keep for yourself but you know everyone should enjoy it's tranquility.      The location of Storyville brings you within walking distance of the best restaurants, stores, bars and entertainment that NOLA has to offer.   For the history buff or the mystery enthusiast  the French Quarter has a story at each corner.   I recommend staying at Storyville for at least three days so each party could see 10% of whats in arm's reach from this humbled abode.        Barbara has to be one of the warmest people I've ever met.   She not only takes care of you during your stay she actually makes it her personal mission to ensure  Storyville adds another page to its fairytale during each stay. We loved it and are already planning our next visit.

The room is much nicer than I was expecting. I will try and book here every time I visit New Orleans from here on out!

Great hotel, minutes from the French Quarter. Affordable and comfy.

We had our wedding here in November of 2014. Barbara is the best. We felt like family — She and her staff went above and beyond our expectations. Great place to stay, great location, even great event space.

The price was very fair and it was only a few blocks from Bourbon Street. The neighborhood was clean and safe and after experiencing the parking in nearby areas I was glad to have a large and enclosed parking lot on the property. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Beautiful! I've stayed in dozens upon dozens of hotels throughout New Orleans, and this is by far my favorite. The owner is super sweet and was throwing an awesome themed party in the back courtyard. The courtyard itself is massive and very serene. The perfect spot for a wedding. Our room was perfect and the staff was courteous. Definitely can't wait to be back.

This was my first stay at Hotel Storyville, and second time in NOLA. The first time, we stayed at a hotel off of Bourbon St, and it was fun and all, but I didn't realize how much better the experience could be until we stayed at Hotel Storyville. Hotel Storyville itself is awesome — it's comfortable, clean, spacious, and has all the amenities you can think of (the room had a kitchen! ). Its location is what makes it perfect. It is within easy walking distance to the French Quarter, so you can go out and have a good time, but escape back to somewhere quiet and really unwind. It is also easy walking distance to Frenchmen Street, which I would never have known to check out. There are awesome jazz clubs and bars there that are a nice break when you want to go out but aren't in Bourbon mode. Barbara the innkeeper is wonderful and made us feel super welcome. We will be staying there again when we go back to NOLA for sure.

Great location — quiet, shady neighborhood, felt very safe, easy walk to French quarter, near Lil Dizzy's (great soul-food lunch). Bus stop nearby for longer trips. Huge rooms, handy kitchen. Attractive older building, felt very secure. Owner friendly and helpful.
