I wouldn't give them a star if I didn't have too! Nasty rooms. Pool had stuff floating in it. Disgusting curtains. Chairs stained and looked like it was on its last leg. I pulled back the bed sheets and it was cigarette burns and dried up semen. And have the nerve to say that you can't smoke in their rooms. Walls had burn marks and holes. I walked right back out of that horrible room and got my money refunded.

This establishment deserves 0 stars. They’re only getting that 1 because I can’t post without it. They charge you $80 to stay in this horrible place. This place was disgusting and dirty. There is a strong smell of cigarettes, mold, and mildew. The room they gave us seemed like a storage room for the outdated furniture of the other rooms. There were no lamps on the walls, no tissue holder in the bathroom, the shower curtain was horribly stained, wholes in the sheets and comforters, the furniture was broken, worn out and DIRTY. The carpet was disgusting, the floor was dirty. The walls are all stained, the phone wasn’t even connected and the Wi-Fi SUCKS! All of the good reviews about this place is clearly written by the management and the pictures and good reviews on booking sites are FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! Don’t come here and just pay the extra money to stay in a great hotel!

Nasty. They have a slide show up front and the rooms look great on the slides. But the shower has stains carpet is gross. Chairs are stained as well. Big room very very nasty. We left after a few minutes would not refund money. Don't go here. Save your money and the stomach ache. ={

Nice motel! Everything was very clean and the room was very huge. The staff was very nice and friendly! Our booked room was not available anymore and so we were upgraded for free to a suite room I guess. This room was really awesome! Very huge with two beds and with a complete kitchen and of course microwave and fridge and a huge freezer. The TV was very big with a guide so that you can easily see which programm is currently on screen and which will be next. The bathroom was also very huge with a tub. And I don't know why some people write here about not feeling safe here. Because we felt totally safe here! The motel is surrounded by a fence with code entry and overall cameras. We could sleep very well here. We could highly recommend this motel!

Horrible neighborhood! Rooms were hot as heck and mind u I turned the air on @ 2 when we checked in! Itched ALL night long! Was honestly scared to cover up at all and go to sleep! Shampoos and soaps were seriously the length of a damn Bobby pin and only left one in the room! Like how is that little bottle supposed to last through 4 people taking showers! Water pressure was horrible! Will not stay here again. Tv barley wanted to come on. No channels worked.! Had people in and out their rooms all night blowing horns and fighting! Seriously stayed up all night because I didn’t feel safe over here! It Was a horrible experience here! Booking at this hotel was a HUGE mistake! And I do NOT RECOMMEND this hotel to anyone! Your better off paying the few extra dollars to get a peaceful sleep!

A lot of work has obviously been invested in this property because, for the its age, the rooms are remarkably clean and comfortable. It looses stars for it's location in such a sketchy part of NO. I'm never encouraged to see so many gates and bars on windows.

Over all good stay! Staff very friendly and helpful. Only thing was bathroom was super cold no heat in it. Pretty clean just needed a lil bit better of cleaning like walls need a good wipe down and head bords also. But we didn't spent to much time in the room so it was not bad when we where in it. There is hot water. And they dont have rats or dead bugs all over. I would stay again!

From the outside it doesn't look like a good motel, but checked in anyway. Was very surprised by the room very clean suite with kitchen. Bed was super comfortable. Staff was very helpful gated area yes but after visiting New Orleans everything seems to be gated. Will definitely stay here again. And will recommend it. Just saying don't judge a book by its cover.

I had to go to New Orleans for work, and because it was the same week as Mardi Gras, this was the only hotel that was not completely booked. I didn't really have high hopes for this place but I was pleasantly surprised. Inexpensive motels like these can be really nasty and trashy but this one was not. There were no roaches or hookers or drunk people yelling and fighting through the night. The room was pretty clean and the maids did a good job and always made sure I had fresh towels and sheets, and brought coffee. The continental breakfast select had a pretty limited variety but there was cereal and muffins that were good. The one bad thing about my experience here was that the washing machine in the laundry room had a broken coin slot, so I had to go get the guy from the front desk to come start the washer. Overall this is a good place to stay if you need something decent for a low price.

I enjoyed my stay there. It was clean and well secured.

Ant swarm in the sink. Mice and ants in the second room we got. The rooms were clean ish, just skeezy. Cheap, and located 15 min from French Quarter, but not a great neighborhood. At least they had a gate for the parking lot and rooms. Management did not compensate us for the issues we had.

Solid place. Looks relatively safe for the area, with lots of gates and bars on exterior windows. The rooms were spacious, the suite had to large beds and a kitchenette with stove, refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom was big with a tub/shower, toilet and sink. The toilet was hooked up to hot water, making the bowl and seat warm to the touch. This is either a feature or a mistake, either way, I suggest booking room 116.

Weak Wi-Fi And the rooms smell like mold The pool has been closed for over a week.

Cheapest motel in the area, not to far from the French quarter and other attractions, but the area of the motel was shady. The Wi-Fi was spoty, and sheets were dirty. I'd spend the extra few bucks and get a nicer place.

Nice and affordable motel, large rooms and pretty close by car to French Quarter only 6 miles and close to highway. Bad Wi-Fi in the rooms, not at parking lot. Cheap.

I tell you this when my wife and I showed up at this property it was already a no-go there were people walking around out there that I mean it just was terrible the whole atmosphere around that place was a big huge negative there is some females in the area on the property that didn't seem to savory. This was just not a safe environment.

Stay away from here. The place looks like a pay-by-the-hour motel. First off the pool was closed in the middle of July… Really?. Then the room smelled like it was last cleaned in 1964. It took almost 6 hours for the air conditioner to cool the room to acceptable temperatures. The beds sheets were so stained that we slept on top of the comforters which did help with the hot room. The free Wi-Fi only worked in the front office, and we were the third room down from the office. Absolutely a terrible experience. If we hadn't used a booking company to book the room, we would have left as fast as we could've.

Perfect for the price! The gated parking lot and free parking were awesome! I saw a few reviews commenting on the cleanliness but it was really clean. Definitely would stay here again.

Cozy place with normal service.

Negative: The area is awful and is very insecure. The hotel is a fence which wants to convey a hint of security, but the door has been all the time open and people on our side of the fence have at least just creeps me as what was out there on the road. Not 5 minutes on the site, we were accosted by shady characters. The rooms are simple and not so neatly worked on me, have preferred to sleep on my own blanket. At night, outside bustling prevailed, which is why we could barely sleep. Due to the uncertain acting area, we have gecancelled our reservation for the second day. The staff was very friendly and therefore the cancellation ran smoothly.

They have bed bugs and refused to give us a refund for our second night despite us being covered in obviously inflamed bites all over. When we got in the room we noticed that it was incredibly dirty and stained. I went to the bed, pulled back the covers to check it out and found stains and hair. The bathroom door had urine stains on it, the toilet had long hair on the seat and there was even a small blood stain on the wall (above the hole created by the door knob). We were so exhausted we made the poor choice to stay the night. We went to bed at 11 and at 3am I was applying cortisone cream to a dozen spots on my boyfriend. I didn't have as severe reaction to the bites as he did. It had seemed odd at check in that they charged us for both nights before we even got in the room. I guess maybe this is a frequent problem for them. The manager we spoke with was also quite argumentative when the situation was calmly explained. Just 0.2 miles down the road is Super 8 motel and it is clean, a great price and in great shape. It's where I am currently writing this review after leaving Best Way Inn. Also, as a heads up, the pharmacist at Walgreens said they were bed bug bites and advised that others had come in from the nearby Motel 6 with bed bugs as well. Avoid Best Way Inn at all costs unless you have a hazmat suit or two handy! -Kelli.

Terrible customer service. Location right in the dope and prostitute area. Sheets were dirty an they tell lies. They put the black people in the dirty rooms. Don't waste your money.

We arrived late, and their suit was still open, then we were offered a free upgrade. The room is a bit aged but other then that everything is clean and tidy. A good low price choice.

The man at the front desk was awful. Wouldn't give me an extra pillow or blanket because I didn't know there would be three guests instead of two staying with me because I made the reservation 3 months prior.

Good motel, good workers. Found our I pad in the room pack it great and send us to new York!

Really Nice! Had security gates and a nice Tv. The one bedroom was really spacious. We booked it a couple hours before we got there and had no trouble once we arrived.
