Review of Comfort Suites Mandeville - Covington 2*

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this hotel. My husband and I stayed here the night of our wedding. We showed up in the lobby, in our wedding clothes still, clearly having just gotten married. It took them about 5-10 minutes just to get to us, despite there being 2 people working behind the desk and only one other person checking in. We eventually filled out our check in paper work and then we stood around waiting for another 15 minutes probably. Mind you, I am in my wedding dress and we have gotten no apologies or explanation for why we were waiting so long. The people working behind the desk were talking and joking and then had a whole conversation with a drunk patron staying at the hotel. All while we are standing there having no idea what we were waiting on and what was taking so long. My husband then asked what else we needed to do, and they snapped at us and told us they were working on it and that the computers were slow due to the weather (it had rained a some that night). They were extremely rude and still did not apologize for our wait. We finally got checked in and they informed us that we needed to go up the stairs to the third floor because their elevator was down. Again no apologies for this (I understand there was nothing they could do about that but I expect an apology when something like that is down). Overall, it took us about half an hour to check in, despite there being no line, and we were treated extremely disrespectfully, on what should have been the most magical night of our lives. I was very very disappointed in the service we received. If you’re looking for good customer service, I would keep looking.
