This hotel seemed some where between a quality inn and Hilton hotel. Positive: The hotel had nice modern decor. Breakfast was pretty good! They have an exercise room (which I used and appreciated). And pool. The room was clean and nice. Check out is at 12. Negative: The room was kinda small. I couldn't get the TV to work. Could hear every noise outside the door. Bed was just kinda comfortable. The breakfast fed my family of 4. If we weren't just passing thru my kids might have used the pool. For just a place to crash for 1 or 2 adults, I wouldn't spend the money. I like a more spacious room, too. It was a bit cramped. The hotel staff was friendly. They took my AAA card for a discount, too.

Stayed two nights here. Hotel has updated rooms. If you have anything of value make sure you lock it up! Second day we stayed, housekeeping entered our room during the day while we enjoyed the pool and the young man stole money out of my boyfriends wallet. Luckily, a video camera was right outside our door to our room so they had him on camera entering our room even though we had the “Do not disturb” sign hanging out. Giving this place a one star rating only because the manager was kindly enough to replace the stolen money. Other then that, we won’t be staying here again.

This is a very clean hotel. The bed sheets don't smell like someone just threw bleach on them. The beds are so comfortable and the pillows are fluffy. The restroom is also very clean. Its nice to be able to stay somewhere without having to clean or worry about somethin gross in the room. We will definitely stay here again in the future. Thanks la Quinta!

This place was a little further from the interstate but well worth it. The parking lot was very well-lit, and the rooms were very nice. The main thing that made me want to stay here was the pet policy. While most hotels want to charge $50-$74/5 per dog per night, la Quinta will allow them to stay for free. They had a nice pet walking area as well.

Hotel is about a year-old. Very nice rooms and friendly staff! Goldie and company really took care of us!

It was avery bad experience. I know that its pet friendly but ididnot think that im gonna find food dog in my little 9 month old baby hand and hair dog every were in the room its really discasting. The air conditioning has avery bad smill. The room in all wasn't clean you can feel the dust every where. Iwillnever stay here again.

Fairly new. Very nice. Very clean. Staff was polite & helpful. They allow pets, which I thought was great; however, we saw a guy with 3 dogs & he was NOT in control of them. They were barking when we checked in. The next morning they were outside our door, barking like crazy at 6 in the morning. When we went down for breakfast, a lady was mopping the floor near the breakfast area where someone had stepped in dog poop, & it was on the floor. The breakfast was from 6-9 & I got there @ 8:30. The sausage gravy was nearly gone, & she didn't put anymore out, though quite a few people came down after me. No bacon was offered, only sausage. Not everyone likes sausage. If you advertise a good breakfast, you should offer it. No bread, only those round, hard things (can't remember what they're called). The lady in charge of breakfast sat & talked with another lady who had a dog in the breakfast area, near all the food. I would stay there again, but some things need to change for the better.

Hotel is in an industrial-ish area but the parking lot is very well lit. Our room was clean, little grass on the bathroom tile but nothing to be disgusted by. Slept pretty good but my room was close to an exit door that I could hear slam every time it was opened or closed. Great stay for the price, would return.

Had a great stay! This hotel is always clean & quiet… love the beautiful updated rooms and everything this hotel has to offer! A special thank you to Goldie, she was super friendly and had such a warm & inviting feeling to her, great customer service is hard to come by! We will see you on our next trip in a couple of weeks!

Update: this place is a thief Like I said from the previous review, they only had me on their system for one night NOT two. So why the hell was I charged AGAIN? I keep trying to reach the manager and he still hasn’t called me back. Please don’t stay here if you don’t want your hard earned money stolen from you. Reserved two nights at the place and at check in they had us for one night. Chloe the front desk girl did not handled the situation well. Managers and owner was unable to be reached. I called the third party I booked from and they said it was the hotels fault as they’re supposed to have me for 2 days NOT one. La Quinta, is saying I called and change my dates but I DID NOT AT ALL. This place need to get their stuff together.

I stayed at this hotel recently with my grandparents for the weekend. It was the absolute worst, housekeeping was rude when we asked for towels because they forgot to put towels in the room, there was trash shoved behind the chair in the room, hair in the bathtub, and there was old coffee in the coffee mug! This was the most gross hotel I have ever been to. The worst laquinta I have been to. The lady who worked in breakfast also told us to hold our horses that she's only one person, when we asked "when will there be more sausage ready? " I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, unless you're looking for a terrible time and horrible workers.

Great price for location, room and breakfast was great. However did not appreciate staff and construction crew taking over the pool area. It was a mess! Staff should've known better or taken it to another location. A bar maybe?

Good experience: the room was clean, beds were comfortable, staff was friendly, and the breakfast was decent. Only complaint would be the slightly musty odor in the lobby.

Rooms are absolutely not checked after being cleaned, management offered no kind of compensation for the issues my family had while staying at this establishment, and I would NOT stay here again, and will be calling corporate on Monday morning. 1. ) Condiment packet found opened and with black, red, and yellow mold in it — photo attached. 2. ) Same urine stain on toilet for 2+ days. 3. ) Bedding and pillows feel wet but room is not humid. These are just things that should not happen at a hotel, no matter what hotel, and especially not in this price range.

La Quinta Inn & Suites Lake Charles is probably one of the best hotel I've stayed in, and I have stayed in alot of hotel. The rooms are nice, the food and everything. 5 star rating for sure. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

When wee checked in, the rooms floors were sticky and handles were broken on drawers. Couldnt open them. When asking for a room change ir someone to clean up we were told "when they got around to it"

I haven't even checked in yet and they get 5 stars… Amber went above and beyond to help me with my reservation and Kristy was super helpful as well! I can't wait till next week! God Bless you guy's! Y'all deserve 10 star's.

The best LA Quinta I have stayed in. Very beautiful designed, large room, very comfortable beds, big TV, good hot shower, huge free breakfast. All staff were awesome. This La Quinta has everything a guest expects. Thank you for everything, we enjoyed our 3 night stay with yall.

The hotel is very nice. It's in a location where there are a lot of events. The hotel itself is very clean and new. Our room is the perfect temperature and space. There's even an adequate desk to work on. The only complaint is that the room can be a little dark despite having all the lights on.

We are a Family moving from Coast to Coast. We are traveling with a baby, two dogs, and a uhaul. We have been staying at La Quintas along the way because of their pet friendly policy and this is the best we have stayed at. Starting with the staff, at check in the receptionist (believe her name was Amy) was just wonderful! She was welcoming, helpful, and so kind. After a long day of travel, I was tired and she sure brighten up my night. Her priority clearly was to ensure we had everything we needed in order to have a good nights rest and she accomplished that. The location was safe, with a trailer that is a concern for us. The parking lot is big and very well lit. The hotel and room were very quiet. The room and bathroom were very clean and nice. So over all, we felt welcomed and safe. We got a great nights rest. We will definitely recommend it to anyone and will definitely be staying there again on our trips.

Even though it just opened this place is amazing! The customer service was wonderful. Rooms were clean and wiped down. About ten minutes after we checked in, the front desk called to ask if we were getting settled in okay. That's the first time that has happened with a La Quinta. The woman who was working at breakfast noticed there was no milk left and filled up right away so we could have cereal. She was extremely kind and polite. It's a nice, quiet, clean location. Definitely recommend.
