We toured 5 more rooms after our initial room smelled like smoke and mold. ALL the rooms smell awful. Finally we toured a 6th and found a 2nd room that doesn't smell. Manager was nice and helpful. EDIT: We ended up leaving (with a refund) because a very drunk man wouldn't leave a member of our party alone in the parking lot.

My stay was great. From the warm friendly welcome to the friendly check out. The place is under new management and also changing from another brand to become Motel 6. She has her hands full but still took time to meet and greet. She is really personable to guest as well as her employees. I can't wait to come back and see what she does with the place. The beds are very comfy so I hope Corporate Motel 6 doesn't require they change them. Wasn't able to use the pool as the pump was down but she was on top of it had a guy on the way out to fix it. Most important to me… I saw no sign of any bugs and it was a quiet place to stay not all the rebel rousers and noise makers. Room was immaculately clean upon check in, front desk even give me extra towels when I first checked in. I felt very safe at this property. Will definitely be coming back.

This was a terrible experience will not be going back lots of roaches running around near fridge and microwave… people staying up all hours of the nite must be a Drug dealing Motel. This motel needs to be shut down and brought up to standards. House keeping knocked on the door at 8:30 am and told us they was planning on leaving early asking if we was checking out. What a business this place is we wont return.

There was roaches in our room, no commodities. No coffee pot you have to go to the front for coffee no complimentary breakfast. You have to ask for hair dryer and return after use. We got woke up at 8:00am asking if we could leave early so they could go home early. We did not get compensated but the supervisor came to look at the dead roaches we killed and did apologize. We do not recommend motel 6 the pool was green and closed. Rant over.

I had an Excellent time at fair price. Opra and April, the hospitality specialists were great. Dray was very cool and knowledgeable. And Dorthy, the manager, was extremely helpful. The place is nice and clean, not common when it comes to small town motels.

It was so so. The drain system in the room was very slow.

Basic hotel. Roomy, comfortable bed.

Easily one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. You would expect to be treated decently when staying somewhere for more than a week, but this was not the case. A call to the front desk to ask about medical facilities in the area got the response "You have Google, don't you? " Bedding is absolutely disgusting and the shower doesn't drain, which is a step up from the first two rooms they tried to put me in.

Very dirty and run down. Car litter in the corner stains and burns on the bedding and morning front desk person was extremely rude and very unprofessional. Housekeeper was very kind tho.

Good rooms, friendly staff. Would have been a better experience if my vehicle and belongings had not gotten stolen by two drug dealers. Thibodaux Police were able to recover most of my stuff. Thibodaux Police rated 5 stars.

Cheap and clean very noisy at time no breakfast.

Great service nice rooms anything you want to eat is close anything you want to do is close by.

This hotel was not my usual standard when staying away from home. I was very disappointed in myself for bringing my family here but the price was great. $240 for 4 nights. But you get what you pay for. The first room they put us in was so smokey that my husband had an asthma attack. Someone had a dog in a room close by that barked so loud it seemed as if the did was in our room! The bathroom was super tiny! There was a refrigerator & microwave in our room. The STAFF was amazing! Those gents and ladies were superb! CVS was right next door shopping plaza right across the street.

I booked a room online for Moyel6 Thibodaux, La. I have been standing in line waiting to check in for an hour. Apparently there is a new computer system, plus rooms are not being cleaned as quickly as usual, but I still find a one hour (plus) wait for checking into my room. I find my own time and that of others to be important and I do hope that whatever issues Motel6 is experiencing at this location is worked out really soon.

Good stay but need to spray for insects.

Location was great, canes next door. Outlets were not working in areas, no shampoo, bed linens were decent. No separate light for bathroom, door lock mechanism was in poor shape. Property in decent condition. Overall it was ok.

The room was clean and such. Ac went out often. And when ever we left the room to go get food. Cleaning service came in and took our pillows and towels. We never asked for it or had the door sign asking for it.

One miscommunication but overall I felt at home.

Wet feeling carpet, slimy floor, killed baby roach.

I have stayed here many of times in the past 6 months due to work … the staff are very friendly and have went out there way for us … anything I needed they made sure it was taken care of … this past Saturday 2/06/16 I needed a room … call to check availability and a young woman called Ms Oprah got a lil attitude talking about she couldn't go down on the price … which I never asked for a price reduction … So I got in my truck and drove down there to handle my reservation. … Price was no option … I pay for the room I don't pay for the attitude (I can stay home and get that for free) … I have sent a lot of worker and friends to this motel… So word of mouth can be either a plus or a minus … So train your staff to talk to ppl like they would like to be talk too…

I left my flat iron there. When I realized I forgot it, I went back to get it. It was no where to be found. The attendant up front called the house keeper who cleaned my room, and she has it was locked in a "locker" I could come back and get it the next day! The owner who lived there wasn't budging. He insisted that he would mail it to me today. Which means the housekeeper took it home!

Stay away. I didn't have the stomach to keep my reservation. Nasty place. Peeling paint, buildup of hair in the corners of the tub, gross smell. There are much better choices in town.
