The room we had on the 4th floor was pretty good. Nice bathroom, comfy bed. The pool was clean and open and very appreciated on that 100 degree day. Would have been a 3 or 4 star review except for the elevators we're not working well (one out completely the other not always responding to calls) and the fire alarm went off once at 9:00 PM, staying on for a half hour, and then again at 3:00 AM, thankfully for only a few minutes.

Dated, dirty and shady part of town. My family and I just stayed over the weekend for my Son's sporting event. The room was seriously dated, the bathroom was filthy (toilet didn't work properly, toilet was gross, tub had a bar of soap from previous guests in the drain), pool area was less than sanitary, and the location was sketchy (at best given the constant police activity across the street). Worst of all, the AC could barely keep the room below 78 degrees (given the outside temperature was 90+, the room felt better but the old AC unit couldn't make sleeping comfortable). On the plus side… check-in and check-out were quick and the staff was polite. The proximity to the interstate was also convenient.

Rooms were nice and comfy! Breakfast was good. But it was not very safe. People using the trash can by elevator for rest room. No security that I saw. Pool was no open!

Comfy and friendly, had an issue with my room, time will tell if it's taken care of. I'd stay here again as it's close to what I need to do. Simple breakfast, some hot, some cold. Pool looked inviting.

Good, clean room. I did get a visit from some sugar ants. I had left a glass of tea while I was gone for a few hours and they decided to take a swim in the glass. I had to send some of their gang on to their new home.

Great staff, rooms were clean and spacious. Smelled fresh soon as you enter the lobby. Breakfast was great, nice selection to choose from. Will definitely stay here again!

Staff is great and very friendly. They take great care and do a wonderful job. The amenities are awesome as well!

Stay was relatively enjoyable. Had minor issues connecting to Wi-Fi and pillows were not that supportive. Otherwise great value hotel for the price.

It was easy to get to and just a short drive to where we were attending a show. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The check in clerk was very friendly.

The hotel itself was nice Then there is the hot breakfast. I don't like the fact that you can't take the food to your room, but it's understandable. The customer service at the front desk could use a little work, but the young women who was cleaning and serving breakfast on April 19 was very helpful and sunny (she was a breath of fresh air in the morning).

Room was comfortable except there was no hot water. Staff said I could get dressed, come to the front desk and get a key, and go to a different room to shower — and seemed to think that adequately addressed the issue. Not feasible for me since I was in a hurry to check out and get to a meeting, but they offered no sort of compensation to make up for failure to provide a warm shower.

Clean! Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Convenient location right by the highway, 15 mins from downtown St. Louis.

We had stayed here many times in the past when it was a Hampton Inn. This is our first time here since the switch. Overall, the stay was ok. The breakfast quality has greatly declined. The bathroom had dried soap in the dish, lots of hair strands all over the floor — which was an issue for me. The accent chair in the room was heavily stained and really should be replaced immediately. We were fine though until one couple in our group didn't have hot water in their room and the clerk at the front desk wouldn't offer any recourse, except call the manager; she wouldn't even grant them an additional 30-45 min. To check out late. Disappointed in the lack of autonomy given to the employees to make situations right, or maybe she just didn't care to. Either way, no one in our sizeable party will return to this location.

While this is a 'budget' hotel, it FAR exceeded expectations. I was lucky enough to get this at $50 for a quick nights rest while on a road trip. The room and breakfast was more like a Fairfield than a budget hotel.

I equiboque to choose that hotel.

I was very disappointed in the environment of this Quality Inn. I have stayed in several Quality Inns and this particular one did not meet my expectations. Upon my arrival, another guest was smoking down the hallway, the toilet backed up, the toilet seat was in poor condition and one of the housekeepers were hesitant to give new towels because it was the last day of our stay. I will most definitely choose another Choice Hotel location when I am in this area again.

I was in the area for a business trip so this was a quick stopover. I don't usually stay in economy hotels but they do enough to serve their purpose. Bathroom and room were clean. Basic amenities were provided and the room was ok. The only complaint is that some of the towels had yellow stains that were visible so I made sure to check the other towels. Door staff was friendly and they provided a basic breakfast.

Poor Poor Poor Customer Service! I spoke with the “General Manager” about a transaction taken out of my account in December, and he stated that it was from when I stayed there in July. He said that they never charged me, because their card machine wasn’t properly working at the time. I have never ever heard of such a thing! I have been back to the Dunn Rd. Location since July, and they never said anything about this. While trying to get my point across about my $217 they took out my account the “General Manager” goes on to say I’m hanging up, I don’t have time to listen to you blabbing about this. WHAT! I’ve stayed at the Comfort Inn several times and I’ve never had this type of service at all, but they were booked at the time. If you don’t want your money taken away you should stay away from this place! How you charge someone 5 months later! Not to mention while I was there they fired someone for stealing money! Never Again.

For a Quality Inn, I was impressed with the cleanliness! Breakfast was decent and the rooms were nice. My one complaint was that we were there with a large group and the hotel had known for months in advance that this would be a busy day/check-in time. However, they had only one person working that day to check people in which took forever. Not at all the fault of the employee who was there… she was very friendly and professional. But the management should have considered the kind of day it would be and had other people available to help her out. It took over an hour to get all the groups checked in.

Quality Inn St Louis, So far not so good. I couldn't get in the front doors to check in, the night clerk was… idk how to explain him? I have a pick-up truck and the parking spaces are kinda small but the room is very nice, seems to be clean. I like the furniture better than the way the other rooms are set up. We'll see, ask again later.

Our stay at Quality Inn was a very good value. The room was clean and the service was adequate. The beds were quite firm, which is not our preference, and the pillows were wimpy. The fresh waffles and apple cinnamon waffles were delicious (though the reheated eggs and sausage were not so great). I would stay here again, but I would bring my own pillow.

I would like to specifically give recognition to the manager on duty during our check in. At least I believe it was the manager. Regardless she went above and beyond to get the exact room I needed due to severe insomnia. She worked a long time to find a room that was quiet. And I would like to say it was very quiet! She and the entire staff were very friendly. Each and every one would greet meet each time they saw me. The man who handles the breakfast room was on top of it. He made sure everything was going smoothly. Overall a fantastic experience!

Very clean room. Towels were fully stocked. Comfortable bed. The staff seemed friendly enough. Only complaint I would have is that the vending machines don't have a credit card swipe attach to them. I don't carry cash like that too often and you need cash for the vending machines there, but other than that it was a great stay. Wouldn't mind staying here again.

This place was well worth the money I paid! Nice and clean with absolutely no bugs! Very comfortable bedding. (LOVE the pillows) Warm breakfast! If I could bring this good of value with me every time I travel, I'd be pleased!

Comfy bed, very nice service (if a bit slow checking out). The rooms were pretty classy for the price, nice TV and stuff. Good shower, though being on the top floor the pressure was… Lacking… The breakfast wasn't too bad at all, but the juice was kinda gross. Machine probably just needed cleaning. Convenient location, right off the highway.

The hotel was very easy to get to and externally the appearances were great. My check in time was rather busy, but many of us were waiting in the lobby while a staff member was in the back. After paying for the room the staff member was very helpful with information regarding the hotel. After entering the room there were many things off. The coffee machine had used coffee inside of it, and there were a ton of ants on the table. The room was clearly not cleaned well. Besides these issues the brief stay was great, although the breakfast was very crowded and slightly lackluster. If the price wasn't so reasonable I would not come here again.

David at the front desk is the best! Been coming here for overnight getaways for 2 years and the way he greets you makes you feel warm and welcome. Room choices are awesome, pool is great for kids too.

During the weekend it was very hot my last night they're the power went out and they didn't have a backup generator for lighting or the air it was pitch-black and miserably hot in the room. The staff never even came to check on people or knock on the door so let us know what was going on. I was already feeling some type of way because when I arrive my fridge didn't work and it took him 24 hours to bring a replacement. My microwave also did not have a microwave plate in it and it took them another half a day to find one to put in there. My air conditioning unit was duct taped across the top. On a positive note I did not blame the staff they did the best they could with what they were given to work with.

Stayed here a night and a half. The staff was all great! They were friendly and pleasant. They all looked us in the eye and greeted us as we came into contact with them, no matter their position. They were all also very good natured and ready to smile and laugh with us. I like That! The rooms were clean and well stocked and they were decorated nicely too. There were two spots dedicated to plugs and chargers. One on the night stand by the bed and one on the table by the TV so we didn't have to search for spots to plug in our chargers. Breakfast in the morning was standard and of course I'm grateful when I don't have to make it! There was a pool and a gym plus coffee and a mini fridge in the room. I would definitely recommend staying here.

What this establishment stands for is near the antithesis of quality. Perhaps another name would render it a better hotel by means of expectation alone. I consulted the front desk about a women in another room that I found attractive. Needless to say they told me it was illegal to give out that information. I give them three stars for squandering my hopes at true love. Sick pool and good breakfast, even though I found a spider in my bacon.

The staff is very courteous. The room was very clean and didn't smell of smoke. Everything is pretty modern. I like that they had a charging station in between the beds. The beds were very comfortable. I travel 100% for work and stay at a lot of different hotels, when I know I'm staying at a quality Inn I'm relieved because I know it will be clean and have modern day appliances in it. The price for the quality of the room is great. The only downside to it is that they don't have mini fridges in the room however they do have a microwave in the lobby. Lastly the location is great. It's right off the freeway and next to Walmart.

Very clean and quiet. Neat and updated decor. Nice fresh smelling room with plenty of amenities. Morning front clerk is very pleasant. Great comfortable stay.

Location is convenient. My shower knob was broken but I managed to get some warm water out still. Breakfast was edible at best. But everyone was very nice and the value for the $ was decent.

AC didn't work. No hot water in the morning. Shower would go between cold and scalding hot with no warning and without touching the dial. Bathroom fan didn't work.

Pleasant & comfortable. Clean rooms & nice staff.

Worst experience ever. Had to stay at this hotel for 3 nights. Washroom sink didn't drain properly. Complained 3 times consecutively, once each day. They did nothing about it. The room card didn't even work on a stairs door that could give me easy access to my room. And when complained, they say the door lock is bad. In the end, before checking out, I asked for manager's contact, they give me a card that has a managers number which happens to be that of the front desk. Could never talk to the manager about this issues because of this. Beware of this place. Try to avoid it if you can.

Great staff, comfortable rooms, and a good continental breakfast to get your day started.

I understand when I pay $55 for a room that I'm not getting bells and whistles. I wasn't expecting it to be nice. We just needed a place to rest the night before our early flight. First room assigned to us hadn't been cleaned from the last guest. The desk staff was helpful and promptly put us in another room. We turned on the heat and went to grab food. When we returned we discovered the heat didn't work and neither did the tv. It was late so we were like, whatever we're just sleeping 5 hrs and moving on. It'll be fine. Fast forward to morning and I get a warm (not hot) shower without a working drain. So by the time the water heated up, it was ankle deep. Oh, we also discovered a suckered stick in our made bed — under the bottom sheet, thankfully, but still gross. This place is literally the worst hotel I've spent a night in.

Happy New Year! 2016 Everyone. I'm Currently in the Quality Inn "Right Now" we've been here since Wednesday Night and it's Saturday Morning Now. We are still here but, despite the Negative Bull Craps other people are saying about this Hotel we haven't had "NOT 1 PROBLEM" it's Clean and Really Nice. The People who work here are Nice, Funny, and Courteous. Enjoy Life. (Some People Forgot How to do that. ) God Bless. Amen.

Ok, this is the second worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The first had fleas in the room. This Quality Inn is NASTY! The rooms smell old and wet, I visited 4 rooms, because I was with family. I found someone else's toe nails in my room, the bed sheets were dirty, there's no microwave or refrigerator in the rooms and the breakfast area was dirty all day. We checked in at 1pm, breakfast was over at 10 am and even after we came back at 10 pm that night, the breakfast area was still dirty with the same milk, sugar, bread crumbs, jelly on floor and most of the tables. Ok, the ONLY reason we stayed, because we had over 25 people in our group and it would have been hard to relocate everyone. Overall, this hotel seriously needs to evaluate there housekeeping, update there rooms with a microwave and refrigerator and eliminate the horrible smell in the rooms. Also elevators goes out every hour, so be prepared to use stairs and the black guy on the late shift has no customer service skills, so expect little assistance from him with attitude. I don't know how this hotel gets any ratings above 2, must be hotel staff rating itself! July 10, 2015

Formerly Hampton Inn with a decent reputation, Quality Inn is now anything but quality. Was told multiple times that the front desk was "too busy" to make my reservation. Dirty rooms, they couldn't keep track of a room block, incompetent and rude employees at the front desk, and the General Manager was often unavailable to help with room blocks. Made several calls to resolve reservation issues and was put on hold for 15+ minutes — I hung up and called again and they hung up on me after saying they would get someone to help. Will never use them again.
