This is a decent place. The best thing about this place is probably the staff; very friendly. The rooms look decent. Not really the best out there. You get what you pay for. The free breakfast is okay. Continental breakfast. Raisin Bran, muffins, waffles. The pool is small, but it was clean for the most part during my stay.

After leaving the super 8 in Fenton we found this super 8 and it was a blessing. The motel is clean, the staff was super friendly and the night management was amazing. I was on the verge of tears because we were traveling cross country and were beyond exhausted traveling with a 5 year old and 2 dogs and the super 8 in Fenton was a crack den. I really hope you see this review and if you are traveling and had to choose between the 2 stop here. You are greeted by nice staff and good coffee in the morning.

Clean rooms. Free Wi-Fi. Within walking distance of Six Flags. These are just a few reasons to stay at Super 8.

Overall I expect Super 8's to basically provide me a bed and a bathroom — and that's what I got. Breakfast is nothing to write home about, window AC units, and a half eaten burrito in the bathroom shelving. It was tolerable but I'll look for a different hotel next time.

Claim free all u can eat breakfest buffet u get a wafle and cereal thats it and super small rooms.

Clean but no hand soap and who designed the building should lose his architect license, who builds the first floor six foot lower than ground level? Being close to Six Flags is it's only saving grace. The breakfast is non existent with breads and muffins that someone wrapped in plastic wrap. Non starter go somewhere else.

The motel has a pretty good location but is at best a to Star Motel. Luckily it is fairly inexpensive and the people working there were nice. Unfortunately with the low price comes some seedy characters. We didn't have any problems but there were people wandering around the parking lot and occasionally through the halls that appeared to be high on drugs. The parking lot is a little small when it is busy and I wouldn't want to have to park my vehicle around back. Given that it was an expensive and everything turned out okay despite some minor fears I'd give it three stars for a two star hotel.

Nice clean room, convenient to I-44. Decent eating establishments close by.

Service was great. Hotel itself has seen better days. Could use some overall remodeling. Also had a distinct odor throughout the whole place.

Way high for the room we had. Paid it anyways because it was near six flags. Food was not bad. Have had better rates and accommodations about 20mins away. If we trip again we will most likely opt out for a drive to have a better stay.

The rooms were cheaply priced. However every room smelled like smoke. The rooms needed painting. There was something growing on the wall above the shower head. The shower head looks as it has never been cleaned. The hallways smell of bleach and Lysol. Then there was the $100 deposit noone told us about. The charged showed up on our card the day after we arrived. We have no animals with us so why the deposit? This place is disgusting. Choose another hotel. Stay away from this one.

This please is filthy. But I was not worried about that they were so rude and mean for no reason. I had a towel issue and paid for the towel no problem but they were acting like I was going to just run out and not pay a measily 20 but owner asked for 25. For a freaking towel 1 towel! Really!? But the prices were posted in the room so how can you charge more when it is posted? Also upon arrival I was charged cash because there was an issue with my card not sure what I am from out of state so later found out the card company thought my card was stolen. Anyway got that fixed by just paying cash 167.00 and then they tried to double charge me and the amount they tried to charge to my card was 191.00 or something like that completely different than what the room costed? These people were rude. For no reason. And I will not be back here. Thank you. I posted several pictures of the room taken when I got there and as I was leaving as well. Wouldn't have bothered me but they had no reason to be rude. Just tell a person and go on but they did not. They got so rude and would back chat about you as you walked away so unprofessional. Thanks! Me and my 11 year old child both felt threatened by the man who I was told was the owner.

Rock hard bed, dirty toilet, plastic key card only worked once, and the replacement didn't work at all. That breakfast muffin was not worth 80 bucks. I do not recommend.

Excellent choice near Six flags! The Hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful.

This hotel is okay for the price. It is a little expensive for what you get. There is always a weird smell and it gets weirder as you go farther into the hotel. There is always a smoky smell and there is always someone smoking somewhere. Breakfast is minimal always, and it's always hard to find somewhere to sit there is very minimal seating for breakfast. The great thing about it is it is right down the road from Six Flags and you can't get anything better than that. Overall it is an okay Hotel it's a little pricey but for the location it's not a bad Hotel. Rooms are clean, staff is usually friendly.

There is no elevator. Just wanted to start with this. It doesn't affect me personally but outs a 3 floor hotel work no elevator. Other than that, the rooms were clean, there's hit water in the shower at 7 am and there's breakfast. My expectations were met.

It's actually not a bad hotel. The room was nice and even a nice big comfortable bed. Didn't get a high rating from me due to cockroaches in the bathroom.

Worst hotel ever! The list of problems with this place is endless. First off, if you are handicapped this is not an accessible Hotel all the rooms what are either up or down the stairs with no elevator. The parking lot is dark poor lighting. There are no locks on the outside doors to enter and exit the building. The swimming pool is disgusting very small and has tons of dirt in the bottom of it. When we got to the room it stunk. Then we went to lock the door we realized it wouldn't lock. I called the front desk and the lady came up and said it don't worry about it just use the chain you're safe here. I'm here alone with a 10 year old child I do not feel safe only using a chain on a hotel room door. When it was time to take showers and wash up turned out we didn't have any hot water. Again talk to the front desk and she said the water heater works just fine just let the water run for a while. So I let the water run and it never got better than lukewarm at best. I guess the only benefit to that is it I would sure woke up with a cold.

Most disgusting motel I've stayed at and the service from Dave stank even worse… paint peeling all over the shower, sink backing up from the drain, burn holes in the blankets… just a filthy, disgusting place! I also have pictures to prove it. When I asked how much a room was, Dave told me they were $99 per night plus tax equals, $104. I agreed and purchased a room. We were told that we would have to wait From 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm to check in or we could pay more to enter the room now. So I decided to wait until 3:00 instead of paying $50 More dollars to get into my room 2 hours early. I asked him to print out a receipt and I see that I have been charged $115 not the original $104 that was stated. I didn't say anything because I felt that Dave was unstable… he answered the phone while I was there, and then commented once he hung up about how people are lucky to even get a room and they are lucky that he doesn't raise the room price by $20. So I went to my room and stayed because all other motels were booked, and had a disgusting stay. I would never put my skin on those blankets or pillows or beds. Do yourself a favor and go to the holiday in by six flags, they are one of the best motels I have ever been to! I want a refund from super 8! They need a health inspection and reported to the bbb.

Good place to stay if you want to be close to Six Flags but a bit far from downtown St. Louis. The rooms were clean, staff friendly, felt safe here. Breakfast was waffles, toast, rolls and cereal. The pool looked clean and people were using it. Water could have been a bit hotter but there was plenty of it and they provide soap, shampoo and conditioner.

You get what you pay for. The rooms are clean and if you just need a place to sleep while on vacation it's hard to beat. Rooms are a little dated and it's an old building. The staff that was here cleaning did an amazing job keeping the building clean. Overall great experience.

Clean, good amount of towels, comfortable bed, and great water pressure in shower. I'm not sure if a deposit needed to be paid for my service dog? My father in-law had reserved the room for my stay. One downside that I guess couldn't be helped. I was put on the third floor and there isn't an elevator. I'm handicapped. So to say the least, it was mighty difficult to get my luggage and myself upstairs. After the drive from California, that was more strain then I needed on me physically.

Location great, very close to the park. Whole hotel in need of remodel and would be nice if it was all non-smoking.

My children and I stayed at this hotel on 6/2/2016. When we checked in our room was on the 3rd floor and was extremely hot. I called the front desk and explained the situation after we had waited 30 minutes for the room to cool off. He was very nice and came and checked on the a/c very quickly. He offered us another room and asked us to give it about 15 minutes to cool off. We decided to go eat and give both the rooms time to cool off. By the time we got back out room was cooling off but still too hot. The man at the front moved us to another room without any complaint. Our stay was great. The staff was very nice and very understanding. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Eureka. Thanks Super 8 for a great stay!

I wouldn't dare recommend anyone to stay that this horrible Hotel… Due to all other hotels was booked we had no choice but to get that one. Rooms are small and the light is extremely dime it's like it's almost dark in the room.! Looking for a comfortable stay DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT STAY AT THIS SUPER 8!

The owner of the hotel she is a very rude lady her husband on the other hand is nice, and the lady that checked us in was real nice and her name is Linda. We had two rooms and in one of the rooms the refrigerator nor microwave work. The breakfast consisted of cereal, waffles, and toast which was OK for the kids. Some of the linen had stains on it, ask for more linen they claim the only thing they could give us was a sheet. The room was not worth the money that we spent and the rooms were very very small with poor lighting in it. Well I'm end with my family and friends will not be doing anymore business with Super8 motel in Eureka, MO.

You get what you pay for. The whole building smells like smoke. The place needs a face lift. I do think they try to keep the rooms clean but due to the age and smell it isn't a great choice unless it is all your budget will allow.

We paid $62 and got our monies worth. Decent showers and beds. The free breakfast leaves something to be desired. But for $62 you get what you okay for really. Which is basically a place to sleep.

Overpriced, outdated, wierd odor when you walk in, and horrible/no security. The key card lock on the back door doesn't work, just pull the door and anyone gets in. At 3:30 this morning had a random guy knocking on it door looking for someone, continued on down the hall (in clear view of a security camera, if it worked), knocking on other doors Avoid like the plague.

Do NOT stay here! Rock hard bed, filthy room that smelled, stains on the sheets and pillow cases (thank god I brought my own pillow). The chain lock on the door was snapped off and the back door to the building did not lock at all. Cable worked and didn't have a lot of Wi-Fi problems.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for Valentines. We knew going into it that it's not the Ritz, but as with everything in life, we have standards, some higher than others. We got a king bed room and at $70/night we thought it should at least be clean with comfortable accommodations. We were (hardly) greeted by a grumpy lady & a terrible smell (which seemed to be everywhere in the hotel). As we looked for our room (trying not to breath) it was dark and kinda creepy — as only half of the hallway lights worked, with some flickering. Upon entering the room it wasn't perfect, didn't look vacuumed and the smell was still everywhere, but we thought it didn't look THAT bad. Then we found dirty towels in the bathroom (gross) and cigarette burns on the sink! When we went to check out the view, we realized the window didn't fully close… in winter… So we turned on the heater and it worked, kind of, in a partially broken, obnoxiously loud kind of way. The fridge didn't look too bad, until we saw what seemed to be mold… good thing we only had soda to put in there. We were excited about having a hotel bed to lounge and sleep on, until we felt how uncomfortable it was! That's a big deal for me, I would have been able to deal with everything else if only the bed would have been decent! We had three small pillows, my boyfriend said it was like laying his head on a plastic bag full of leaves.

Worst hotel stay ever. Wi-Fi was extremely slow and the was the only good thing, at least they have Wi-Fi. The room was extremely dirty. It was a mixture of dirty and disgusting. There was an odd looking substance on the wall next to the bed. Almost looked like someone had thrown a blueberry muffin at the wall a month earlier and nobody had touched it. That was the nicest of the wall stains. The one in the bathroom made me feel like someone had literally wiped their behind with their hand and wiped it on the wall. Seriously disgusting. Nothing really worked. We had two lamps and a TV. That's it. The other lights: broke, the coffee maker: broke, the lock: broke. I could keep going, but I know you get the point. I really didn't want to go to this hotel. I could tell it was going to be bad, but all other hotels within two hours were booked. It was midnight and I needed to get some sleep. I could tell they knew they had me when they told me the price was 169.99 (before taxes). Online showed a cheaper price, but it wouldn't allow me to book. I was required to call. Next time I'll sleep in my car. The outdoors has a cleaner bathroom.

Place was extremely rundown and very dirty. Beds were the worst rock hard ever slept on in a hotel room. It's only plus to this place is that it is 2 minute drive to six flags. Would never ever stay here again.
