My husband and I had our Wedding Ceremony and Reception at the Courtyard By Marriott and it was amazing. They did everything we asked them to do, they stored our wedding cupcakes in their fridge and even set them out on our cupcake stand for us so we could do other things. They made sure everything was ready for the rehearsal and the wedding. They communicated well with our DJ and Florist and photographer. Everything went off without a hitch thanks to them. They were absolutely perfect! I would recommend them for any event you may have or just to stay for a night or two. Their staff is absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much.

The hotel is very clean. The management is so courteous. They have a warm indoor pool and good exercise equipment. They have a bistro where you can purchase breakfast and dinner.

Had a good visit there. Was impressed with how lovely this hotel is. Front desk personnel Blair Kyle and Ryan Cobb were so helpful and exude great customer service! I hope they both have a long career with Marriott.

The rooms are nice and spacious. Have everything you need in room. Rooms are very clean. Nice big lobby and a Bistro to eat at. Great place to stay.

I travel a lot with my job. I can honestly say there is not a better hotel than Courtyard Columbia in the country. I stay here a lot and by choice. The staff is outstanding from ch’mar and Julie when you check in to April and Clint in events everyone is so friendly. If your looking for a great customer experience this is the place! If you’re a business person looking for a model to copy this is the one! Thanks as always Courtyard Columbia y’all are top notch.

Does not provide complementary breakfast or even coffee. Super 8 at least does as well as s wingate. Will never stay at a Marriott motel again. Could not get an evening meal.

Hotel was nice. Staff was courteous and professional. First room they put me in was on the highway side of the hotel and was actually quite noisy from the traffic. Switching rooms was an easy process. Wish the menu for dinner offerings was a bit larger, but what I ordered was good. Will stay again when back in town for business.

Booked a guaranteed reservation with late check in with 2 beds to be told only one bed rooms remain due to wedding party. Only sofa bed suites remain. Now have to try and find someplace to stay on a Saturday night at 7 pm. Just great.

Rooms and bathrooms are nice. Beds were comfortable. Food was good but you do have to pay for breakfast. They were very accommodating and allowed me to check out late. Only deducted a star because no free breakfast.

We stayed over the July 4th holiday. Our room was very clean and well appointed. The staff was courteous and very professional. When we got home I discovered I had left something in the room. I called them to inquire if the item we left behind had been turned in. The cleaning staff had found the item. They not only turned in the item but called to let me know they had found the item. That says a lot about the integrity of the staff. Will definitely stay here again.

Great location for meetings. Staff very accommodating, food was great, parking ample and convenient. Nice amenities in rooms. Loved the outdoor seating.

Visited this hotel to attend a wedding. The rooms were very nice and featured a comfortable king sized bed and a pull out couch. The bistro in the lobby was a nice place to chill in the evening and grab a quick bite or drink. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend this hotel for business or for pleasure.

Well setup hotel with good conference rooms. The food that was catered by the hotel was very good. The rooms are setup in a pleasant but not tipical manner. I enjoyed my stay.

I gave a poor rating because making us have to make our reservation for 2 nights and then price gouging us by charging $621.00 for a 2 night stay just because it is graduation weekend is totally ridiculous.

The hotel was well laid out, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, with a big comfortable bed, small fridge and microwave and a little desk area and pull out couch. This location did not provide breakfast with the stay but does have a little bistro in the lobby which serves hot food and alcoholic beverages.

( (My husband is traveling for business and I am with him in the hotel. ) ) This hotel has the best staff. They are the nicest front desk staff I have ever met. They go above and beyond what any hotel has ever given us, customer service wise. The hotel has a lot of nice places to relax, a spa and pool (They are a little smaller than most hotels but very relaxing. ) They also have a nice up to date work out room. Top of the line equipment. They allowed us to have a late checkout until 1 pm without extra fees. I walked past the front desk and the day said "Have a nice day". I said oh I'm not leaving, I'm just grabbing a cart. She replied back immediately with: "Have a really good day anyways! ". Children friendly. The cleaning staff changed out our bedding every day and cleaned our room in pairs with no extra charge. This hotel is very clean. They made animals out of towels. They were very very polite. Very impressed and satisfied with the overall experience of our stay! Very reasonable nightly rates!

The location for this hotel is great for Columbia. It's located on the southwest side of the city and provides quick access to the freeway and into downtown. The lobby area was very nice and open. Very easy to be comfortable in the lobby as there are many couches and chairs for you to sit on as well tables if you need one to work or a place to eat. My standard room was also very spacious and clean. The bathroom was very nice and open as well. Would highly recommend!

Very nice room with comfortable beds and attractive furnishings. Lobby area and meeting space was well appointed and modern. They had a bistro area with coffee and food for purchase, the breakfast was very good. This was my first stay at a Marriott and I will definitely be staying again.

We were there for the solar eclipse and the staff put on a really nice day for us. Good food and entertainment! The front desk staff were very helpful and very nice and accommodating. The blond young lady in the Bistro in the morning was a very hardworking employee and kept her cool even though she was too very very busy. My only negative comment is that the beds are too hard. I really didn't sleep very well and after all isn't that what a hotel is really all about, somewhere to sleep when we are away from home!

Stay Away from this property. I have stayed at many properties in the Marriott brand and this by far is the worst. The staff is totally inept in the jobs that they perform. This has to do with the poor leadership the GM has here. The rooms are not up to the Marriot standards. You are better off taking your chances with a Motel 6 than wasting your money with this property.

I attended a conference here. The conference room was very acommodating and the lunch provoded was delicious!

Location would be nice if there was a convenience store nearby. Room was clean, fine, bed seemed hard, pillows all too hard or soft. I didn't really sleep much. But in fairness, insomnia is not unusual for me. Service was fine. Catered meals for event were good. Event room had a light that was flickering. Could use more outlets in the middle for electronic devices. Comfortable temperature. Free toothbrush. The little convenience items for sale near front desk had no painkillers at all. Except midol. Which has caffeine and I was already not sleeping.

Had great acess to the highway and just minutes from major shopping. The staff was friendly and the room was great. We really enjoyed the whirlpool in the room.

Charged my card for 179 when I used points! Would not stay there again ever! This is how you treat elite members! You should be ashamed, filing fraud complaint with my card company.

Outstanding hotel and atmosphere. Great location, 5 minutes or less away from anything you may need. Will be coming back for sure.

My wife was looking at the existing reviews before we arrived at the Courtyard Columbia and they were scaring her. Let me clarify a few things. This is a fairly newly constructed hotel in a growing part of town (i. E. New businesses) and is right off of 63. It is a quiet area with a nice well lit parking lot. In my opinion, it is by no means the kind of hotel or in the kind of neighborhood you would expect to encounter prostitutes or bed bugs. One never knows, but to characterize it that way is misleading at best. The three rooms we stayed in were clean, updated, and fairly spacious. I brushed my teeth and took two showers and didn't notice anything unusual about the water. The bathrooms are nice. The king sized beds and pillows were comfortable. Our rooms were on the 4th floor and faced the highway; we did not have noticeable highway noise. The temperature control lets you run the fan manually to provide ambient white noise when sleeping as well. There is free internet (I did not try it) and high-speed internet for $4.95. The high speed ineternet allowed my boys to watch a streaming movie with no problems for two hours. The refrigerator was disappointing because it had no freezer part and could only get drinks a little cold. The microwave worked just fine to pop some popcorn. The front desk staff were pleasant enough but pretty green. The lobby is really nice. The pool I saw was very small.

Check your credit card prior to leaving. Room was paid for. They ask for a credit card for incidentals and will charge you 20.00 a day without telling you this at the time of checking in. And FYI, their Facebook page is locked so you can't post any comments.

Really disappointed. I could not access the Internet the entire Sunday night. Entered my last name and room number and verified with front desk. Unfortunately there was nothing they could do and I could not prepare for my presentation Monday morning. They couldn't even give me an access code or someone else's room info. Considering I stay here 50+ nights a year I am very disappointed.

Awesome customer service, nice little bistro in main lobby, and the bed was absolutely amazing — nice and soft. I highly recommend!

I'm shocked that nobody got bedbugs. Upon entry, the place looked swanky. It even felt swanky as I was secretly hit on by a very drug-ridden girl in the elevator wearing provocative clothing, who was later arrested out front. — — Yaknow the type. Did the "I'm lost" routine. That incident aside, upon finding our room, it /looked/ as swanky as the rest of the place — — but only from the door. Stepping inside, the beds were made, but there were crumbs on the floor and the shower had "weird gunk" on the floor. The shower its self is semi-functional — — The head needs to be unclogged somewhat, and the bathwater tap leaks heavily when the shower's on. The water is _HEAVILY_ chlorinated! It smells like pool water! Seriously! I had to take a shower after going caving, but apart from special circumstances like that, don't use the showers. Seriously. And do NOT drink the water! Obviously! The Wi-Fi is a joke. Just pretend the hotel doesn't have it. Seriously. No Wi-Fi. It barely lets me connect (Only worked once), and it was incredibly slow — — About 250 kb upload and download. Good luck! You can pay for more expensive access, but I didn't try that. After unpacking our freezer packs, we found that the fridge was broken. We got a replacement, but it didn't get cold enough to ice anything even when it got turned up all the way. (The adjuster's at the back, by the way. Gotta stick your hand down a bit.

Deceptive description — the complimentary high speed internet access is $4.95/night. The complimentary internet access runs at less than 1.5MBs which will not allow kids to stream netflix/amazon/hulu. The "evening reception" should be named Wednesday Reception as that is the only night it is available. When we checked in to our room, we were welcomed with a hairball and toilet paper in our toilet. As a long time member of Marriott Rewards and previous Platinum Member, this is not standard Marriott operations. Due to the deveptive advertising and low vleaning standards, I won't stay at this hotel again and I urge others to look elsewhere.

Had our family reunion here and the staff was very accommodating to ensure everything went according to plan.

So far so good. Been there one might of two planned. AC/ Heater when it comes on is like a 747 landing at ohare when it comes on.

Came into town on short notice due to kids having a baby early. MArriott mAde it eAsy.

Loud, not sleep friendly. Located right on the on-ramp of highway. If you can sleep in the front row of a NASCAR race then you will be ok otherwise I would not recommend staying here. I travel every week, have Gold status with Marriott and my only request is a room not facing the highway, yet they gave me a room right on the highway. Was awake all night.

Not bad. Air conditioning didn't work in room (95 degrees). They switched it. But made me feel weird about it. Do people cheat them out of air conditioned rooms? Likely a random event — otherwise this Courtyard is as you would expect. Strangely expensive, given its location.

Aric is a considerate manager, when we had a problem it was quickly resolved.
