They are doing work on the place. Good bed for over night.

They weren't ready for so many people running away from a hurricane.

Modern. Just didn't have a breakfast. At least could provide continental.

Amazing housekeeping. Very accommodating management.

Stayed two nites in two different rooms in span of one week. Both rooms held a pervasive funky odor which was almost intolerable. I do have a sensitive nose. Otherwise, friendly, clean (though funky smelling), and good breakfast.

Room is nice for a small area. Seems as if the owners are up remodeling rooms. New carpet and bed linens in the room I have. Walmart is walking distance Hardee's is right next door (walking distance) gas station on the other side of Days Inn. They are doing what they can to make it nice for us traveling folks.

Staff were on the ball the owner was on site very friendly and everything was clean and very comfortable! It poured down rain that evening and the owner didn't even mind that my husband parked his bike under cover in front of our room even thought it may have been in his way! Thank you days Inn very great hotel! I will come stay again soon! the Bean family,,,,!

I truly enjoyed my stay at Days Inn Newton. The owner Vince was very hospitable and really went out his way to assure that me & my family were comfortable and satisfied during our visit. I truly enjoyed his hospitality, as well as the staff I came across. I'm a satisfied customer.

My son and I travel extensively from TX to NC and we are always trying new, good and economic places to stay. This hotel was superb. Clean, very comfortable beds, inexpensive and a delicious American breakfast was worth $80 a night for both of us. I highly recommend this hotel. I don't know if other Days Inn hotels are similar but we definitely will try another one next time.

Busy when we arrived, however check in was quick. Room clean. Website just stated free breakfast, we expected cereal, muffins, bagels, etc. We were pleasantly surprised to have scrambled eggs, sausage & biscuits, which were very good!

I loved this hotel. I had stayed there recently stayed there and there are so many positive things to say about this hotel. First of all, it's in a good area right next to a Walmart, the employees there had been very helpful and kind. The breakfast was great, it wasn't like some other hotels that use powered mixes, the breakfast was cracked fresh eggs and other delicious foods. The bathroom had been very clean. If I could I would rate this hotel 6 stars, I will DEFINITELY stay here again!

Owners are nice. Employees went out of their way to make you feel welcomed.

Overall, it was a very good stay. Traveling in a pickup with a tarp-covered bed, I was thrilled to see an extremely well lit parking lot. I was able to get a room where I could park right in front, another plus on my situation. The room was clean. Water pressure in the shower was great. Really, I only showered, slept for five hours and then hit the road again, but I would look to stay there again when traveling the same route. Staff was friendly. A very positive stay for me, especially with some of the negative experiences I've had with the same chain in other states.

We arrived at 1:00 am the bed had not been changed it was hair and dirt when I pulled the blanket back. Had to clean My own bathroom paint chips in tub the microwave was nasty stuff left in the refrigerator. I did not have a pleasant stay it was not worth the price.

Dirty, not friendly. Left something there and they wouldn't look for it.

The room had all new furnishing, and very clean, but the style looks old, so don't let the style confuse you. The outside looks old and worn, and there were people playing loud music out side our room when we pulled up, but the hotel guys stopped it before 10PM. The AC was nice and the air felt good. Didn't try the pool or breakfast, but the location was convenient and is better than quite a few places I have stayed in.

It is quiet and comfortable.

I saw the tripadvisor reviews for Days Inn, and they were pretty mixed, and all pretty recent, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised. It looks like the rooms have been recently redecorated. The paint on the walls was fresh and nice (white with a red accent wall), The headboard had nary a scrath, and the curtains were clean and nice looking. The bathroom was phenomenal. The tile was what I'd like in my house, and the tub and toilet were in great repair. I had a king sized bed (a real king size, not the queens some hotels try to pass off as kings) and a very comfy couch to hang out on. I really liked that there was a desk setup with an electric outlet that was easy to get to on the side of the desk. There was also a free one beside the couch. That's something I see all too rarely, especially nowadays when everyone is carrying a cell phone, a laptop or tablet pc, and various other electronics that need to charge. I was warned at the desk when I checked in that if you get you rooom cleaned while you are staying there, you'll need to leave the bed completely clear or they won't be allowed to make the bed. This wasn't an issue for me, but I saw a complaint about it in another review. I like this. I'd rather not have anyone messing with my personal stuff, you know? Like I said, though, I was told about it when I checked in, so no problems. The young man that checked me in was incredibly nice-very talkative and friendly.
