It's a 2 star hotel for a reason. Its secluded but still near everything. Personally we didn't mind the train as we are heavy sleepers anyways. The bed is super comfy and the room was visibly clean. The front desk let us check in 2hours early surprisingly which was nice so we could relax from a 6hour drive. The bathroom was a little outdated and very subpar. The toilet would flush half the time, and the shower had no water pressure. The shower walls were stained yellow in some places and peeling in others. The door to the bathroom was also damaged. The carpet was stained and clearly was put in wrong. It was coming up in several places.

We stayed at Travelodge over night with our children and pup. The manager was super nice and helpful! The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and suggest it to friends and family!

It pains me to have to write this review, but others need to know what they’re getting into with this hotel. I stayed for a week. I couldn’t leave early because it was non-refundable after check-in. At first glance the location is great, but you soon realize there’s a very busy train track literally right behind the hotel. There were at least two trans per day, often in the middle of the night. Our room shook each time a train passed. The hotel has a pest control issue. We had roaches crawling around the room, especially in the bathroom area. Everything is dated. The buildings, rooms, furniture and TV are all old. The carpet was nasty with stains and burns. The bathtub had cigarette burns. The toilet was loose. For the first few days our TV had a purple tint all over. It must have been the cable system because it eventually cleared up. The first room they put us in turned out to have a 1/2 of standing water in the carpet near the bathroom. When I went back to complain the clerk was perplexed by a loud warning on the reservation computer announcing that it was infected by spyware and needed to be cleaned by whatever was giving the warning. I’m still worried if my credit card was compromised. Speaking of my credit card. My first card was declined. When I called the national chain bank they told me the denial was for the hotel’s merchant account, not my credit card. Breakfast was terrible. The dispenser was out of orange juice my entire stay.

It was a pretty nice place. They were very nice rooms have been redone and the people where very nice.

For the price and location this hotel is great. We stayed here a year ago and this hotel was so different. It needed a complete overhaul. And it has gotten one. New rooms, new beds, new, nice staff and even a better breakfast. Rented our stay through hotwire. Very pleased.

Absolutely superb place to stay all the staff was exceptional (especially Denise) the owner is a very nice man they would bend over backwards to make your stay exceptioal. Restaurants and fast foods are walking distance this is where I'll always stay when I'm in the area.

I was only there to visit an out of town guest. Although I thought the room needed updating, the beds looked like they were clean, and the room looked sufficient in the space it provided.

The room was very dirty. The sheet had hair on it. The sink was not cleaned after previous occupant. It was nonsmoking but smelled very heavily of cigarette smoke. There was only a sheet on the bed. The carpet was sticky.

I really liked the room its cozy and by a train track that runs through town no matter if you are by the interstate you will hear the train but don't let that deter you from staying the beds are comfortable. Thanks BB.

Right off of the interstate. Check in was quick. The rooms are out dated, but visually clean. Good stay for the price. We stayed one night.

A train came by 2 times during the night that's right beside the room, our shower did not work, the toilet runs unless you wiggle the handle, and when we called down to the desk to ask about the shower she said it was too early in the morning.

Nice location, but no ice (the ice machine was not working). Shower needed repair before we could use. No coffee until we complained. Continental breakfast starts 6:00 no coffee till 7:15 again only because we asked. They are going through some opening pains. (They opened November 2017) I’m unsure that they really care 4-2-18

Room was very nice and kept up. There was no bugs of any kind. The mattress was comfortable. I enjoyed my stay.

It's getting better everyday but the air conditioning system needs to be updated severely bad! It will not go any lower than 68 degrees.

It was a decent place to stay for the night. Had a problem woth the room we first got and the lady at the front desk was quick to move us to a different room and double checked to make sure everything was good. She even helped carry a few things from the first room. If I had to go back down there I would stay there again. Breakfast was ok as well with a selection of cereal, waffles, bagels, toast, and oatmeal as well as coffee, orange or apple juice as well as milk.

Newly renovated rooms. 2 years ago I would have rated this hotel 1 star. Today it is a totally different place. MUCH better than the other hotels in the same price range. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I would recommend Travelodge over any other nearby hotel.

My experience started off with them not accepting a CAC (military ID) as a form of ID and then programming our room keys wrong. Bed had really cheap sheets that easily come off and the mattress underneath had SO many stains on it. The whole room looked kinda old and weathered and paint was peeling in a number of spots. They also didn't have a garbage can or anything.

No smoking room had cigarette burns on furniture. Smelled. Smoke alarm was browned from smoking. Old TV. Upped my rate for 3rd day. Bad deal IMO.

1. Rooms are very clean. 2. Service. Is outstanding! 3. Beds are very comfortable. only down side to this, if you are unable to handle a train going by. this will not be the over night stay for you or your family. For the most part We enjoyed out stay. I give it a 5 STAR! Family of 5.

We booked a room here at the travelodge. First off the rooms are not worth the price that they are asking for. When we laid down in the bed it actually smelled like somebody just had sex. You could literally smell the bodily fluids. Then we opened on of the night stand drawers and found an assortment of drugs for previous occupants. We informed the manger and she gave us a refund, then was extremely rude to us. When I told her that she was getting this review she simply said that was just fine. This insinuates that she is okay with being the manger of a nasty drug infested hotel. Would not recommend anybody to stay here.

I would have to say the thing nice about this place was the front desk clerk in which whom I felt bad for. I had family come into town and needed a last minute hotel room. We walked in booked it and within 15 saw 6 roaches running across the walls and the tables. We immediately went to the front desk and asked for a refund so we could move hotels and was told we would have to contact Wyndham and that there were no refunds. We asked for the owner who was on property and he did not even delight us with us presence. I have worked in hotels and casinos for 20 years and have seen nothing like this. I would like to thank the hotel front desk clerk for being so gracious.

Train tracks are very close you can feel the room vibrate when it comes by. Lovely oak trees around hotel. Clean rooms but very small.

The only reason this place got a star is because the front desk staff was so nice and accommodating. My room was extremely outdated. The air unit made terrible noises when it ran keeping me up most all of the night. The toilet rocked when you sat on it. The tub took forever and a day to drain, the coffee pot was missing the basket for the pack and the hair dryer literally fell off the wall when I picked it up. If all this wasn't bad enough I found another guests belongings in the dresser along with a newspaper from ten days earlier. I guess the rooms don't get cleaned. However, there were clean sheets on the bed and I suppose that counts for something. The prices are very reasonable however still too much for the condition of the rooms. Would not recommend for families with smaller children.

We have stayed at this Hotel at least 6 times, and it's always been fine. Pleasant people at the desk always, rooms are always ready on time or earlier, any little flaw we did find was quickly rectified, and it's reasonably priced and very easy to get to. Can't beat that! We'll be there again around Thanksgiving, and the rates for close to a week are less than some of the Beach Hotels for one night! No room service or jacuzzi, but you're only 5 minutes from the casinos. You can use your savings for entertainment and have a mch better time. Bill in Central Florida.

Based on reviews I read prior to arriving, I was sceptical about the accommodations… I did not book online, but opted to go directly to the hotel to check the room and rates. The lady at the desk was pleasant which was a plus to start with. When I mentioned the online price, she honored it. When I also mentioned the negative reviews, she said that there are a few rooms that need attention and she would make sure she gave us a good room, and she did. VERY clean. Comfortable. Fiance was thrilled with the shower! He said it's an amazing back massage which saves my fingers! Nothing beyond typical wear of a hotel w the exception of slight damage to the bathroom door. I phoned downstairs to let them know. Our lady had left and the gentleman I spoke to was just as attentive and understanding. Turns out he is one of the partners of the business as well as the manager. I told him how peasant our check in was as well as the reviews and how I understand unhappy people tend to express themselves more often than happy ones. He was wonderful and informative. We decided to not go out and ordered pizza instead from the local Dominoes and again pleased… because I ordered a 2 liter, I went to get ice which was working and conveniently located… yet another plus… the only downfall I have found is the bed is slightly creaky and a train passes by occasionally, however my fiance snores so it's all good.

FriEndy staff, clean rooms. Close to Biloxi. VERY close to active train tracks.

Terrible terrible we had hair In our bed. Sheets hadn't been washed. We got a refund. And manager had the nerve to ask for half of the refund back 2 mins after he gave It to us claiming he needed it to, be able to pay the maids to, clean it. Do not go, here.

This place is what I was looking for if your here for the casinos and beaches and don't want to break the bank for a room that your not going stay in much anyway this is it because if your on a budget like me and you need to hit the dollar menu at McDonald's it's right down the street that way what money I have I can enjoy on my vacation and this hotel is great, good people nice rooms. I'll be back! No problems here.

I stay here everytime I visit biloxi. They location is GREAT. Ocean Springs is such a beautiful city. This motel is over-priced, and they ask for a deposit lol. Are u freaking kidding me? A deposit? for this DUMP? the TV is old, the furniture and bedding old. The towels and tissue paper are CHEAP AND EXTREMELY THIN. There are ROACHES. Not enough outlets to plug ur devices. THEY NEVER GIVE YOU A RM ON THE BOTTOM FLOOR, DESPITE YOU'RE A WOMAN WITH HUGE HEAVY LUGGAGE BAGS, TRAVELING ALONE… but I continue to stay there everytime I visit bc of the location, and there isnt many motels to choose from in the area. Especially not that close to biloxi casinos.

This place is disgusting and over priced! Not even worth $40 a night.

Room (by the ice machine) was filthy. Wish we had refused it & left. Not sure the sheets had been changed. Noticed next morning there were drool stains on the pillow I didn't use. One of the lamps had the cord cut off, one between beds only half worked — probably so you can't see the filth. Carpet extremely dirty. The bathtub was actually black with grime. Fabric headboards all dusty, linty and who knows what else. Mirrors were washed only about as high as a short person could reach, walls dirty. Very icky place.

Bad smell on the room, dirty sheets, TV half worked, pillows sucked, but the price was cheep compared to the other places in town.

Horrible! Roaches! After telling the front desk who was also manager (which was wearing lounge clothes) he came up and told us that the roaches was tree roaches. We told him no the little roaches was the nasty ones. He continued to argue so my friend went to move the night stand to show him the nasty coke drippings on the wall, he tried to help but was clearly upset and shoved the night stand hitting her toe. So then he tells us they clean once every other month or so that the roaches fly in through the door and they're Asian roaches! Never heard such thing! Anywho they had dripping behind the fridge he said probably BBQ sauce it just went on and on. Excuse for everything. Saying he isn't dealing with the bullshit. I even went as far as calling pest control to ask question about the roaches and they informed me that they was not wood roaches! When going to check out he credit her card back for $20 off the room which was a slap in the face to even have to pay for such a hell whole! The guy continues to argue and instead of acting like an adult and try to fix the situation and talk things out he storms out the office slamming the door! I called back up to talk to him and tell him no matter how customers may talk to you because they are upset, you being a professional business owner can't talk or act like he did. The guy hung up on me! Needless to say worse place I have ever dealt or stayed with! Don't waste your money!

The staff here treat you like family. Room was very clean with cold air, coffee maker, blow dryer, iron. Happy, happy, happy.

Travelodge — Ocean Springs was very affordable, comfortable and clean. The manager on site made himself easily accessible and offered some of the most accommodating service I have ever received. At first I was a little apprehensive about staying the night since train tracks were very close by, but I was able to get a good night's rest by leaving the AC on high and putting the radio on to drown out some of the train noise. Other than that the stay was very pleasant. I was travelling with a young child and I was happy to see the channel Sprout was available on the cable lineup. I definitely would stay there again.

Great friendly staff! Made sure to mention while I was checking in to let them know if there was anything I needed in the room. I am staying for 3 days. Offered the Wi-Fi code right away and wrote it on the key pouch for me too. Nice continental breakfast. Location wise very close to downtown so you could walk if you wanted to. Also located right by the "Crooked Feather" statue which I found out was one of 70 sculptures donated by Peter Toth in a project called Whispering Giants. Enjoying my stay here so far and everything has been comfortable and clean too.
