Great experience here. In general the hotel is clean and tidy. The staff is friendly. Love this Gulfport exit — has everything you need. Shopping, food, gas, coffee. Rooms are really small but they do the trick. Will only fit up to a family of 4 comfortably. Beds aren’t the most comfortable. Indoor pool is nice and big but it was stuffy in there. Kids didn’t care though. We enjoyed our stay here — no major complaints. We’d stay again. Thank you!

My wife is down here for a conference with her job. She paid for a king size bed but once we arrived at the room, we noticed that it was a queen. I called the front desk and was placed on hold for 15 minutes. Once the desk attendant came back on the phone, she said that she was going to get the manager on duty. After holding for another 15 minutes, I just hung up. I wouldn't recommend this facility at all.

Really enjoyed my stay. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean and was as advertised. Indoor pool is open 24 hours and is heated. The breakfast buffet was good but should be complimentary. Can't wait to come back!

So I work for a place that delivers. I had a delivery to the holiday Inn to a young couple and today was there wedding day. They called the store and asked if we would be mad at them for ordering this late. Of course not, we will take any order before close. Anyway these were the nicest people on the phone and in person. I arrived at the hotel and I approached the lady at the front desk and stood in line, while she helped someone. I waited patiently for about ten minutes before she got finished. I came to the counter and so did another guy. She automatically helped him instead of me. I walked off in angry. How am I supposed to do my job you if can't help who was in line beforehand… she was just the rudest. Like I don't have kids to come home to but I got my dog who needs me lol but seriously this is not cool… I got to the my customers room. They opened the door and I explained to them why it was late and I was there way before the schedule time. Apparently she was rude to the newly weds and I got salty. They gave their king room away and gave them a room with two beds… I'd be raising hell. But what can I say or do I'm just a driver right?

Everything about this hotel is 5 star except for one thing. The beds sit very high… too high for the average-height woman. I had to throw my leg onto the bed and pull myself up into it. The next morning when I spoke to the woman at the front desk, I discovered that they have step stools you may borrow. However, I have a very bad ankle and that could have been a problem for me if my ankle would have not supported me as I stepped onto the stool. My advice is if you plan to stay at this particular Holiday Inn, make your reservations in advance and request the handicap room, if necessary. This is an extremely clean hotel with very nice amenities. We would recommend staying there, just be prepared for the high beds.

The room was great, the area it's located in is great. The ideal place for shopping and eating. I couldn't reconize the workers at the front desk, maybe it was causal Saturday, they all looked different. Other than that I would stay there each time I visit the coast.

It was really family friend. The service at the counter was a beautiful nice young lady. The food at their restaurant was very very delicious. The pool and jacuzzi were both well maintained. I would definitely recommend it to someone else!

The best part of my stay at this hotel was the experience of its wonderful employees. My husband and I took our four children on a mini vacation for our youngest son's birthday and ended up spending two nights at this Hotel. We were able to get rooms that connected which was a convenience. In fact, we had a girl's room and a boy's room due to the fact that minors cannot stay in a hotel room on their own… which makes complete sense when you really think about it. The bathrooms are all spacious and well cleaned and the water pressure in the showers were good. We had a room with only a shower while the other room had a tub and shower combination. At the restaurant on the first floor, we were able to enjoy the daily breakfast buffet that is offered. Watch out because bacon can be quite greasy, but hey IT'S BACON! each Holiday Inn has its own signature dish that is offered in the mornings and the signature breakfast dish at this Gulfport Hotel had eggs, sausage and rice along with the mixture of vegetables that were crispy not soggy. You can walk to the Krispy Kreme and the Super Walmart at the next light is very convenient especially if you left one or two items at home by mistake. Front desk staff is the friendliest we have had the pleasure of meeting. We are currently looking for reasons to visit the area again and stay at this hotel.

Staff was great, very friendly. Great food! Hotel was very clean and maintained. Darrell the bartender was very pleasant with above and beyond service. If you go I suggest asking him to play a tune for you.

I booked a king executive room with a jacuzzi, even called to verify I booked correctly for my husbands birthday. We arrive & no jacuzzi room, they put us in a room with 2 queen beds. After going back to front desk to get corrected only to find out no jacuzzi rooms available. We did at least get a king room. No discount in price, no offer of breakfast anything to help with the fact I’m getting a different type of room. We have stayed at this hotel probably 10 times & have never had this issue. Room was clean, hotel is clean just very disappointed since this was a surprise for my husband, kinda put a damper on our celebrations. Disappointed.

Amazing customer service and great comfy rooms. This hotel is willing to go above and beyond for you. I had the best time here and plan on returning again soon.

The place is nice enough. Wifi speed is ok. The rooms are not bad but it shouldve been better for the price we paid. When we got to the room the lamps and the fridge were not working. They sent someone up to fix it but they seemed annoyed by our request. One pro was the pool. I love the indoor pool. Its the best thing about this place. Also when you book here it says free breakfast but its not free. That information was a bit misleading. Especially since its part of the reason we chose to stay here. So come for the free breakfast but stay for the indoor pool. Hope this review helps.

New remodel, quiet at night, easy access, nice staff. I stay here often for work and never have an issue.

4th time staying with these folks — great staff, clean, comfortable rooms, relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend.

We asked for a room no smoking, but the previous customer did not respect the rules and the room stinked of smoke, at the reception kindly gave us another very clean room that did not olia to cigar.

My preferred hotel when staying in the area, the staff is courteous and truly works to makes every stay perfect, the pool is covered and heated so all hear around it's a great place to swim. Central to geat food and shopping.

Nice hotel. Close to quite a few restaurants and has a restaurant/bar inside. Offers shuttle service to a nearby casino. Rooms were nice. Huge bed and shower.

Best hotel bed I have ever slept in. If you like softer beds this is the hotel for you. The breakfast was well worth it. Will stay here again.

Room is really nice. Pool is open 24 hours and pretty nice. Bed is comfortable and the bathroom has a really big shower.

Stayed here when training out of town for work, and absolutely loved it. Rooms were nice and clean and staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed weekend of sep16-17. Cons outweighed pros Cons : payed 140$ for king room. Turned out to be a standard room with a huge king bed crammed in it. Made moving around and comfort within the room less than par. No continental breakfast (9$ for breakfast) no bathtub, just walk in shower. Pros:very clean. Smells great. Friendly staff. And great location. But could have stayed at much nicer (4 star) hotel for just about 20-30$ more. Would stay again but would get regular room.

Amber at the front desk was very kind and helpful. The staff in the restaurant also did a great job. The rooms were nice and overall everything was very clean.

My family and I stayed here for a night and it was so peaceful, we felt very welcomed! Rooms were very very clean! Loved that there was an indoor pool and its open 24/7 so we got to enjoy the pool at night. We will definitely stay here again!

Hotel staff was friendly. The room was very clean the indoor pool was nice. Security around the area was non existent. Very poor area. Will never say at this hotel again. The parking lot is next to a Waffle House. There were many very dirty people hanging around the hotel. It is not a place for families traveling.

Had great deals on attractions in the area. Free coffee was a definite plus and the indoor pool allowed it so we could swim even while it was pouring outside. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Everything was great until we woke up in the morning. Housekeepers started knocking at the door at 8 am. Breakfast was way too expensive. 9.99 for eggs, 2.50 for oj. There were four of us so with coffee tax and tip it was close to 80$ on top of what we paid for the room. Next time I'll just stay at the casino. The rooms were nice though.

Saturday afternoon my man was very sick in the hotel room. Asked the young lady at the bar for some bottled water and cherry sprite. She said they didn't have cherry sprite, however, I've got some sweet tea in the back. Made my day! I swear she read my mind! Lol Also the young lady that came to clean up was extremely sweet and made sure she brought us more towels. From the nice people at the front desk to every staff member we ran into… all were extremely courteous. Thank you for a great weekend!

It was nice for a older hotel. No continental breakfast but that's not a deal breaker. Rooms were clean except for the carpets. They definitely could use ashampooing. Beds & pilows were comfortable.

Great staff and clean rooms. The pool area could use some TLC but other then that I will keep coming back. My family and I have stayed there twice and both times we get treated like we are most important. Our rooms are always cleaned when we come back from a day out and the staff is very informative about different things to do around Gulfport and Biloxi. Love their beds and pillows, they are very comfortable.

Modern facility. The staff was friendly and the room was what you'd expect as a business traveler. Modern finishes, comfortable bed and large screen TV with Direct TV. Didn't check out the exercise or pool, but did have breakfast in the resturant. The selection was good, prepared well and priced reasonable.

Holiday Inn Gulfport Airport Gulfport, MS continues to impress me. I have sent several clients to this property and every time it has exceeded my company's and associates expectations. Loved my stay at the Holiday Inn Gulfport! After driving all day in a rainstorm I arrived at the hotel exhausted. The staff greeted me warmly and got me checked into my room in no time. My room was so clean and comfortable! And I loved that there were so many movie channels on their TV package. This hotel was just what I needed after a long day on the road. I look forward to staying here again.

I will NEVER stay at this location again, I have family in Gulfport and come here frequently, when coming here after being on the road for 11 hours I don't expect to wait at the desk while you talk on the phone, even if it's a guest, your guest in front of you are always top priority… But not to Louies. Louis… Whatever the persons name was. Then she charged my card twice and acted like it was no big deal. I've worked in the hotel industry for 3 years and currently work and I don't work like this and I definitely don't want too be treated like this. Someone needs a check on how to treat guest… 01-15-16.

We had a perfect stay here — — this hotel was in a great location. It was close enough to the highways for us to travel anywhere within a couple of minutes, but it was also quiet enough for a good nights sleep. The parking lot was well-lit and safe. There were many restaurants nearby for us to visit and the staff was kind enough to suggest places for us. However, we recommend the on-site restaurant for anyone visiting, they had amazing food and great service! Our room was large and extremely clean. The bed was SO comfortable — — great pillows!. There was also a hot tub and pool area, which we didn't experience since we only stayed the one night, but it looked very well-maintained and taken care of. Anyone staying in this area should stay at this Holiday Inn. It was exceptional!

I judge a place more like I think a AAA inspector would; and I can get a little picky. OK, perhaps it wasn't their fault but when we got here the computers were down so we couldn't register. I work in an ER and I can tell you we don't turn people away just because our computers are down — and yes, they do go down. I don't know how long they were down but after waiting for a 1/2 hour, we went out to eat. Upon our return they were back and everything was as it should be. The restaurant was OK, a little slow and the menu was limited and the food was, well, OK. We used it for breakfast and because of the marginal service, we went out for the remainder of our meals. There is a Waffle House about a three minute walk. Frankly, most Holiday Inn's have the do-it-yourself breakfast and I think I prefer them. They are a whole lot faster. We have a right to expect a clean room and we did get that. Maintenance could pay a little more attention, most likely housekeeping isn't doing their job. Out of four lamps, two were VERY hard to turn on, in fact, before we left, we couldn't turn one on at all. (Just in case management takes the time to read these comments, we were in 614. You may want to check & see if the repairs we reported were taken care of. ) Our room had a microwave & frig, a big plus for us. And the frig was of a decent size. Finally, this place is right beneath the approach pattern of Gulfport Airfield. Standing outside, they are LOUD.
