Best hotel to stay in. Beds are so comfortable. We were greeted with bottled water and home baked cookies. Large delicious breakfast. At check out we were given a travel goody bag. Thank Hampton Inn Meridian.

Clean rooms and very courteous staff! I would like to highlight Mrs Brenda who was responsible for the breakfast area in the morning. She interacted with everyone, make sure items were filled and cleaned constantly. She is a great pillar to your staff!

Our stay with Hampton Inn Meridian was awesome. We sold our house and had to live there for a week. They made the girls feel right at home. All of the employees go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Stopped here on our way to Texas. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable rooms.

Great place to stay on the east side of Mississippi. The property just completed renovations and the new look is quite impressive! This is an older building — maybe early 90s? Was showing it's age before the makeover. Standard Hampton breakfast (free), plenty of night lighting in the parking lot. Fitness center and pool are both in good shape. Surprisingly, the manager of this property sponsors a reception (drinks and snacks) fraturing beer, sodas, snacks, etc. Nice touch! One note: there aren't any "suites" in this building like you see in the newer Hamptons. It's not a problem, just understand the rooms are small.

I gotta give a big shout out to the entire staff. Especially Andrew and Brenda! Stayed in a very nice king bed room. Mostly stayed near the pool with the little ones or the lobby common space. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone in MS.

This place is pretty nice. Beds are super comfy. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Great front desk associates. Happy hour monday-saturday with appetizers and drinks until 7. Definitely a great home away from home.

I would NOT reccomend this hotel to anyone! The front desk staff is stand offish. The breakfast is absolutely nothing to get excited about. The food choices are lousy. The taste leaves a great deal to be desired. The food is overcooked. First hotel serving breakfast that I had to peel my own hard boiled eggs. No refrigerator for hard boiled eggs yogurt etc. I was hesitant to eat the eggs in ice that was melting. Maintenance issues in the rooms are Not addressed in a timely manner. I expect more from the Hampton Inn. Extremely disappointing experience!

Rooms were clean and well appointed. Hotel was updated and nice. Had cookies and coffee in lobby and a nice manager's reception that was attended by lots of guests at happy hour. Restaurants within walking distance. Easy on/off interstate. Would stay here when in the area again.

This entire weekend was unbelievable. I have stayed a many nights at different Hampton Inns but none has been like this stay. From the moment I checked in, the experience has been incomparable. Friendly staff, fresh cookies, snacks and all kinds of special treats. The best hotel breakfast I have ever eaten. The food actually tasted like FOOD! If I ever find myself in Meridian needing to stay somewhere this will be my first stop…

I want to know if this place is a safe place to stay. I'm a little worried about staying anywhere in meridian. I have heard the crime rate is high and want to make sure it is safe and my vehicle will be ok too.

Kim Stacy Brenda and Ann took such good care of us … very friendly & helpful… the food was yummy! The supper and popcorn and cookies were a treat… the room was really clean and smelled good! We would definitely recommend this hotel!

Nice hotel, I stayed in it for one night, but I liked it very much, the breakfast buffet was very Good, price is affordable too.

Nice, updated room. Everything clean. Tremendous front desk service. While currently updating, they give you free breakfast at Hilton garden next door, which is phenomenal.

Absolutely the best place to stay in Meridian. This is our third stay. Rooms are comfortable and they thought of everything you need for a great stay. Friendly, helpful staff. Great atmosphere and a good free breakfast!

This Hampton Inn is undergoing thorough renovations but our stay was never compromised because of these updates. The breakfast was one of the better of all the Hamptons which we stayed on this trip. The staff were helpful and corteous, offering suggestions for dining at local restaurants. My only suggestion is that they add gaskets to the room doors, as the light from the hall spills into the room around the closed door.

First day in books. Staff was very professional and helpful. And they actually had fresh cookies at front desk. Great with ideas for eateries around town. Room is really nice.

The staff were polite and helpful, the bed comfortable, and my room was always clean! At one point during my stay I had an upset stomach and the front desk gave me Tums for free, it was so appreciated!

My business partner and I we're on the way home from a plumbing service call in Vance, AL. Due to issues at the call we left later than we wanted. Hurricane Nate's quickness surprised us both and forced us to stop at hotel. On the night of 10/7/17, the rooms were limited to 3 left but the hostess found us (2 Guys) 1 King & a Sofa Bed. The very nice & attentive hostess, in my opinion, went above & beyond to ensure that we were pleased & relaxed, as well as all other guests. One of the lovely hostesses brought me new blankets for the sofa bed without hesitation when I asked for them. The next morning, we enjoyed a variety of delicious breakfast food, as with all Hamptons. We then rushed out in hurry to meet with our families since they had just rode out Hurricane Nate without my partner & I. Needless to say, I forgot my new steel toed boots and personal hygiene products in my room. When I called to ask about them, the hostess found all my items herself and arranged to have them shipped to me arriving within 2 days. The service, our rooms, breakfast, and accommodations we're phenomenal so I will always look for a Hampton Inn wherever my journeys take me.

Yes it's under renovation and it would be nice if Hilton would mention that on their website. The staff was friendly and professional considering the circumstances. Renovation will be done soon and then this should be a typical Hampton Inn. Decent room for a reasonable price.

Well first off they didn't tell us the hotel was under construction when we booked our room. We did not have hot water in bathroom sink. The shower knob would not stay in position and kept falling down and scalding us. You had to keep pushing it up the entire time. No towels racks. Towels were stacked up on back of toilet. Room was hot. Thermostat was locked and couldn't turn it down. The staff however were very friendly.

Was here for a convention only so I didn't stay in a room. The meeting room was large enough for our meeting and staff kept hot coffee available. They were very curteous and the areas I went were clean.

April was very polite and friendly at the front desk. Check in was a breeze. The room was very well kept… clean and pleasant smell. Really nice breakfast. Quiet in the room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Really great experience!

Place was great… had a good night sleep. The staff were so nice and helpful. Breakfast was awesome my daughter loved the variety.

The hotel is nice. The property is older but the updates keep it very comparable to other Hampton Inn properties. The daily reception with complimentary beer/wine and hors d'oeuvres are a nice touch. I have stayed her quite a few times and will do so each time returning to Meridian.

Convenient location. Not enough parking. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice hot water. I'll stay here again because I travel through the area so frequently.

For a hotel that is a bit older, it is rather nice. Good sized rooms with fridge and microwave. Comfy sofa. Mattress was a bit soft. Wasn't told about manager reception when I checked in, so when I went to lobby for something later, it was just wrapping up. Other than that, the front desk associates were quite nice and even kept my ice cream in the their freezer so I could enjoy it later.

Super nice staff and breakfast was good. But the room just felt a little old and damp.

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I had asked if the was a place I could rent a kayak and the desk clerk put me in touch with a wonderful outfitter. And spent 3 tranquil hours gloating down the Chunky river. And if you like cookies, there's nearly an endless supply. The have a nice little complimentary happy hour of sorts from 5-6pm mon — Thurs and gives you a moment to chat with the other hotel patrons.

The room was full of mildew and the carpet was wet. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. I spoke to another guest who had the same problems in his room.

Awesome breakfast, clean. Only down thing is laundry is next door and is a small single washer. Front desk very helpful though.

Free cookies when you check in?! Complimentary drinks!? Free Wi-Fi!? Free breakfast!? New building!? Courtesy call!? Room smells and looks cleaner than any hotel I've stayed at on my trip this week.

We stayed on the fourth floor, Hampton Honors' floor. Our room was clean and cool and the bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I had read reviews about the a/c being loud but it was a normal hotel a/c. Food in lobby was great and they served chips, salsa, burritos, cheese, and popcorn. Breakfast included fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels, muffins, fresh waffles, cereal, sausage and eggs. Also, a variety of coffee flavors. Our visit left nothing to be desired.
