Shout out to anyone thinking of staying at the Best Western Canton Inn in Canton TX. Don't waste your money! I have stayed there many times and have given them great reviews when it was justified but this was the second time that the room wasn't up to par and I dont give them the reviews that the GM wanted. I recieved a phone call from her telling me that I am no longer allowed to stay there because she didn't like the review I gave the hotel. Feel free to share.

Rooms are in serious need of updating! We had a room with 2 queen sized beds that were way past worn out. The only reason we needed a room was to get a GOOD nights rest before driving back home after a family Easter event… we would have been better off driving all the way home to Louisiana or even just going to Tyler for a hotel with a comfortable bed. No one was able to sleep in these awful beds, not even the dang dog. For a hundred bucks per night, I know Best Western can do MUCH better. Also, every “hotel” in Canton is actually a motel… so don’t expect much. I won’t be back.

I have to travel once a month and usually always choose a Best Western. I enjoy the hotel and the staff.

Just stayed here for first Monday and it was very clean, comfy beds, excellent hot breakfast. Have stayed here before and will again. Just be prepared to pay about twice the price on first Monday weekends but that is area wide.

Very convenient location, which is why we selected it, but the motel is somewhat basic — — (shabby hallways, ) and the breakfast was not very good. (There was very little of everything we would normally eat, and no fruit at all. ) The beds were comfortable, though the a/c was noisy. Our key card got cancelled, necessitating a trek back to front desk — unwelcome at the end of a long day. There are at least 5 other hotels on that road, so there is competition.

Very affordable and the rooms are clean. Very good breakfast.

Super happy with the accommodations here after traveling across the country. The rooms are spacious, clean, nice toiletries & linens. Plus, a view of a few horses!

We always try to stay at Best Western because they are always clean and the beds are comfortable. The people are always nice and helpful. Can't think of anything bad about Best Western.

Can't get their pricing straight. Stayed in may paid one price. Stayed in June with everything almost the same and paid almost 30 percent higher than before. They said the price difference was because we had more people when we had one less. Not happy with customer service.

Clean basic motel. I wish the pool was clean. A dip to work out the travel kinks would have been nice. Good TV & Wi-Fi.

Carissa does an amazing job on room turn down. You can tell she is devoted to her job and the customer service she provides. Caroline at the front desk is amazing too! My family and I got in late, got a nice room for a great price. She even offered the lays chips to me at no cost, being how late it was at night, she truly cares about the customers who pass through her doors looking for a room.

We love Best Western Canton Inn the beds are very comfortable! we always have great service. Wonderful breakfast and the rooms are very nice! Staff is awesome! We will come back again next year!

We have stayed here 5-6 times. On Monday april 16 we stopped in. I informed the person behind counter that we'd like a room, and we had our 2 dogs with us (as every other time). The girl was a bit rude & not welcoming at all, but we had stayed before. She quoted a rate of 110. Per night (high for Canton Tx in a Monday night). I said that would work. Then she says 5. Each pet. I explained we had never paid a pet fee before, would she mind looking it up. She did and saw we had stayed before but couldn't see the rate. Really? So 110. Dollars walked out the door, over 10.! The girl behind the counter made the same amount of money that night, but I'll bet the owner would have been more helpful. End result we stayed at the Quality Inn for 79. No pet fee. They were very welcoming & happy to have our business! Clean, quiet, accommodating. Guess where we will be staying next time.

Loved everything about our stay. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Rooms were comfortable and had adequate amenities, and clean! Continental breakfast was wonderful as well. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on our next trip thru the area.

This Canton hotel has been renovated within the last 3 years and the rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was a nice touch. You cannot beat the location if you are coming in for First Monday Trade Days.

Great hotel close to everything, nice dining restaurant called Two Rivers, close to highway, the hotel has plenty of parking, free hotel breakfast, comfortable beds, and very professional smiling front desk agents, the price for the service well worth, I will repeat this hotel and I highly recommend this place.

This was my first visit to Canton and I was so pleased at the friendliness of this hotel’s staff. When I asked questions about the area they were so helpful with directions and provided me with great information. The breakfast hostesses were very nice and kept everything clean. Our room was very clean and comfortable. I will stay here again.

Room is excellent. No odors. Plenty of towels and washcloths. I forgot my toothbrush, so they gave me one from the front desk. Breakfast was delicious — waffles, oatmeal, eggs, biscuirs, gravy, sausage. Coffee was good, too. I have zero complaints.

Nice hotel for the price. I do not think it has an elevator for the second floor. I think the walls are a bit thin. Could hear the neighbors TV most of the night.

We went to Canton for the First Monday Market Days. Our stay at the Best Western was wonderful! They served a hot breakfast with delicious biscuits. The room was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. We even had a special treat on our pillow when we arrived.

I was very happy with my stay at this Best Western in Canton, TX. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was a full hot meal that was fresh and tasty. The hotel was nicely decorated and very clean, as was the outside and grounds. Our rooms were very nice and well furnished. Nothing shabby and it was very clean and neat. We came for the Canton First Monday Market and it is hard to find a nice clean hotel close by, but this one was only 1 block away, very convenient. There was a bit of noise most of the night outside from the trucks coming and going on the property next door. The hotel is right on the interstate. But that was a minor concern for me and I will most definitely be back and recommend my family and friends.

Stayed at this hotel had to switch rooms 4 times. First room had rat dropping on the bed. The 2nd room had blood stained sheets. The room air conditioning was making a loud knocking noise and the final room bathroom had mold around the tub. I end up switching to a different hotel. Thanks for ruining my family vacation.

Stayed here for a wedding near by. We were very concerned with it being just another run down hotel on the side of a highway in central Texas, but we were pleasantly surprised. Incredibly friendly and professional staff, the rooms looked like they belong in any high end hotel in Dallas or any other major city. We felt very comfortable and accommodated in the rooms. On top of that, they had a full-sized free breakfast in the morning. Hard to beat. If I ever find myself in Canton again, I will be staying in this very hotel.

Such a great place to stay. It as so clean. They have the friendliest staff who were helpful. Absolutely the best waffles.

The customer service is excellent! You are greeted warmly and sincerely and if you need anything, it is taken care of promptly. Facility is clean.

I stayed at Best Western Canton a few times on my business trip and it was wonderful. The staff was great. The Hotel at a whole was great, I will be stay again when visiting the area. Thanks Best Western for you outstanding service.

Motel, but very clean. They obviously have recently updated the lobby and room decor. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Great room at a decent price. Everything was clean and the room smelled nice upon arrival. They served a large breakfast that was the typical hotel breakfast. My only issue is that the tub in the room we stayed in was very slippery.

Very poor management. Old building. Just one story no elevater breakfast room real tight. Doesn't justify the name best western. I wouldn't stay at this property again. There are 3 to 4 hotels in 100 meters vicinity. 1 star is just for room. Which was really nice n comfortable. Dave your bucks n frustration see your choices.

Great location near the interstate and no traffic noise. Newly remodeled room was clean, neat and well cared for. Staff was friendly, courteous, professional and helpful. Free breakfast is much better than most I have experienced. GREAT PLACE at a mid range price.

Great stay! Everything was clean and it smelled really good in the hallways and lobby, and it was cool as soon as you walked through the door. The room was a smoking room but didn't smell at all of smoke! The bed was comfortable and the water was hot just the way I like! I wanted to stay another night but I had to leave the next day to return to work. The housekeeper remembered me and my husband from staying there before which meant a lot to us. She is a really good worker too and very friendly. The staff that checked us in was really sweet and professional and made sure we was accommodated. And she looked up my account so I could get my points added. Them points go a long way… rewards! I use to stay here a lot in the past but wanted something cheaper, but please be advised I will never opt for cheap again! I'm back with Best Western from now on when I come visit my family in MS! P. S. Please do not book a room at Super 8 in Canton or Jackson… their rooms are not worth the money you spent for them and you won't have clean sheets nor hot water! Sorry Best Western for using this time to complain about another hotel chain I wanted to warn everyone so they won't end up like I did! Wish you guys that own Best Western could buy them out and fix it up like your hotels!

Found the accommodations to be clean And staff very courteous and professional. We had some loud neighbors on the first night. The staff voluntarily moved us to another room and provided a discount. They went above and beyond.

Amazing hotel the staff were great and friendly. The pool was nice along with the breakfast. All in all this place is great. Would definitely recommend this place if traveling through town.

The clerk and workers were helpful. We booked 2 rooms. There was an odd smell in the rooms and one room was so bad it had to be changed. Also there was mold in that room. The next morning we found ants in the syrup so we went out to eat. We discovered we had left something important in the room and when we called the hotel the clerk retrieved it and held it til we got back. The beds were very comfortable but the overall cleanliness needed some work.

I did not have high expectations since the price was so low when we booked it. We were going to a wedding so we were just staying one night. I was nervous because we have a one year old crawler so I was just hoping that at least it was going to be clean. I was surprised when I opened the door. It was not bad at all. It was very clean and well taken care of. A little bit of mold on the shower curtain but other than that it was good. To be picky the furniture needs an update. The lady who checked us in was really nice and friendly, the breakfast was pretty good for being an American hotel.

This weekend me, & my sister stayed here for 3 nights, & it is actually the second time in less than a year that I have been here. This Best Western is about a mile from where the tornados hit last night. It was very scary, but the entire staff was awesome. They were encouraging hotel guests to stay in the breakfast room, because it was the safest place to be at the time. After the first sirens went off, and the entire town lost power the GM showed up with dinner for everyone, & tried to let everyone know what was going on, & then this morning after being without power for over 12 hours they still provide breakfast. The entire town of Canton was without electricity, but the staff still took care of their guests. They were even taking people in off the street that had been caught in the horrible storm, & feeding them. I personally want them to know what a great job they did, & that I will be back next year. One last thing it is really nice to see the same people still employed there after almost a year. That tells me one important thing, that Best Western in Canton, Tx must be a pretty good place to work. Thank you again for the great service during a difficult situation, & I will recommend this Best Western to anyone going to Canton, Tx.

The worst Best Western I have ever stayed in. Check in was ok, friendly staff. Was quoted $72.00 plus tax rate but upon check out I was charged $81.50 plus tax. This hotel is run down, ugly decor that must be twenty years old. I stayed in room 103 and it smelled very bad. At the front desk on the right side there is a hall way stacked up waste high in boxes and junk. Pit that crap somewhere else. The flower bed are devoid of mulch and the bushed needs trimming. The grass needed cut about a month ago, almost ready to cut for hay now. The entrance to the hotel is terrible shape. Lights broken off. I will call manager tomorrow about the rate change.
I will not stay at this Best Western again.
Stay somewhere else.

This is a good hotel. The staff was good. Truck parking is a little lacking. But over all a good place to stay. The room was clean & the bed was comfortable.

Had bed bugs in first room. Changed rooms, but the girl at the front desk never said she was sorry for the inconvenience or anything like that.

First, the staff is friendly, and the room was nice. Check in is at noon, but when we arrived, the room was not ready. We had to wait a couple hours. When we got to the room, I noticed a scrunche and a few strands of hair left on the bathroom floor. My wife wanted some coffee, but she found old grounds left behind in the machine. And later she discovered a frozen pizza left behind in the refrigerator. Other guests were extremely noisy as well. And although where we stayed was non smoking, we could smell cigarette smoke in the hallway. Yet, if you are staying in Canton, there are several good restaurants: El Sombrero, Dragon Garden, and the Frisky Biscuit.

Worst best western experience ever. We reserved a room and when we arrived were told we had to stay at the hotel next-door. We were expected to pay Best western prices for super eight. Desk clerk also claimed he couldn't reverse charges on our credit card. Same gentleman owns both hotels.

Had a guaranteed reservation for non smoking, and they put me in a smoking room. Could not move me because they are supposedly sold out.

My dad stayed here for work. It was a very bad experience for him. We booked online for him beforehand, so weekly rates were not available. When he got there, he found out that people who just walked in got weekly rates offered. Management would not change the rates. Very inflexible, very unfair. We won't be using this company again.

I was really impressed with the clean and nicely decorated room. The carpets seemed nice and clean. The linens were fresh and comfortable. My children slept on the sofabed comfortably through the night. You controlled the temperature digitally. That was much nicer than a high or low knob setting. The bed was okay. A little hard for me but I am never satisfied unless I am in my own bed! The bathroom was clean. The shower was amazing! A hot shower with different settings for the showerhead was fantastic. Overall. I would definitely stay there again.

Our experience at this hotel was great. The staff was friendly and helpful from the minute we walked into the door. The rooms were very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was good as I recall having sausage, biscuits and gravy, and hot waffles. This property had a business center which was very useful to print my boarding passes. I have stayed at other hotels and this hotel was a better experience for me and my family.

I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff is kind and friendly. I was in Canton for a business meeting and this hotel exceeded my expectations. They have an excellent hot breakfast. They have clean rooms, and they have friendly service. I will definitely stay here again in May for my next trip and I will recommend this hotel to my friends who will traveling to Canton in the future.

My kindle fire was stolen from this hotel by a dishonest employee and nothig was done about it. dont leave your valueables in the room.
