We just spent our family vacation at Delton Oaks Resort this past 4th of July. I have been coming here for years and it only gets better as time goes on. They have many upgrades to all rooms and the view of Lake Delton from my Lakeside room was gorgeous. But most of all the staff was absolutely exceptional especially a HUGE SHOUT OUT TO SUNSHINE. His personality and knowledge and willingness to go above and beyond for use to getting our towels to chatting in the morning with our cups of coffee. Hospitality is Amazing. The Pool is heated and my 6 & 8 yr old boys loved it. The beach was awesome to where the boys loved to build sand castles. The Bonfire was exceptionally nice on our last night which was cooler which made it even better for s’mores and mostly I wanted to thank the owners Clem and Michelle Greco for everything. The updates you al made are great. Keep it up I am a loyal customer who will be back for many years to come. Thank you all for making my Family’s Vacation 🤩 Amazing. Sincerely Erin Lopez July 2021

I swear, Delton Oaks just gets better year after year. From being constantly amazed by the quality of the rooms and amenities to the friendliness of the knowledgeable staff, led by Sunshine, it’s no wonder that this has become the return spot for my family year after year.

I called with a question during booking our stay online. Per the website and videos they offer free Noah’s ark tickets with two night stay. Free two hr pontoon boat use sun — thurs. Free mimi golf and free ice cream. I was speaking to owner a woman who informed me that we would not get Noah’s ark tickets, and could not use pontoon boat as advertised. I said it is on your website in the videos as well as in your specials area. She said well we are not doing it this year. I then said how can you advertise this and then just say no not going to provide you with what we say! She said you are not going to book with us and hung up on me! Thankfully I had not completed my reservation online. However for those that have and are brining their children thinking they are getting tickets to a waterpark or using a pontoon boat will be very surprised to find out this apparently was to get you to book and you will not get what they claim on their own website! We were booking for June 10-13 2021 I will be reporting to Bbb as well. I have screen shots of the website. Would not recommend this resort.

I highly recommend going here! It is beautiful and quiet. The owners are very nice and helpful. I am so happy that our daughter told us about your place and can’t wait to come back!

We've been going to Delton Oaks for over 10 years. Great place to stay right on Lake Delton, but this would certainly be considered an "economy" resort, without all the fancy comforts of the big expensive places. But its a great place in an awesome location if you're not looking for anything too fancy. Has a nice pool, swimming beach, kyaks, & paddle boards. No restaurant on site.

Perfect little getaway! My room was super clean and it had all I needed for a nice stay at the Dells. For an affordable, relaxed, traditional kind of getaway, I will definitely go back.

We had a wonderful time. The room was very small for 2 adults & 5 teenage boys. Loved the view from our balcony. Beach was wonderful & the fact we got kayaks and standup boards included. I also liked how they had a pool besides just beach access.

Had a wonderful time with my wife and kids! The boys loved the private beach and pool and I enjoyed the kayaks! I met some really nice people from Michigan around the camp fire and had a nice conversation. Great family atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back next year. On a side note, I read some less than favorable reviews on one of the travel sites complaining about the room, property, etc. This place is meant for you to be outside and having fun, not being in your room and watching TV, surfing the internet, etc. I found the facilities more than adequate and I've been told they are constantly making improvements. Looking forward to coming back next year!

Great budget and family friendly place. The lakefront has a nice sand beach, and free use of kayaks anytime you want. My son enjoyed the heated pool as well. Noah's ark tickets and a 4hr pontoon rental made this stay even better. I would rather stay here than any of the commercial hotels. When we return to the dells we will be booking here again!

Not worth the money. Everything is so dated and worn Bathroom and bedroom doors would not close properly. Carpeting needs replacing It is nasty looking. Their pet friendly policy is a joke. You have a busy parking lot and maybe a 40 x 20 ft piece of grass to walk your pet. Would not recommend.

Was run down. The management a joke. The room was not what it showed online. Our windows were painted shut if there had been a fire we would not be able to get out. The beds were rock hard. The walls are paper thin to the point you can hear everything. No table to set things on. No hot water at all.

At very best a 2 star hotel. Lock on door could be opened by a credit card. Carpet tile becoming unstapled. Resort fee on top is ridiculous as amenities substandard. Wall AC unit leaks through wall covering. No daily maid service. Only plus is location and frontage on lake. Management does not allow viewing of room before paying "resort fee" for all booked days. No staff immediately available upon check in. Had to search to check in. Advertised free pass for splash facility was not really available. This review is for "value rooms" cannot speak to lakefront rooms. Chain rooms at same price much better value except for lakefront access. Would not stay here again as currently "managed. "

Kids loved it. Great beach. 4th celebration was excellent. We'd definitely come back.

The resort is recently renovated and quiet. We loved the beach access and going to the waterpark. Looking forward to coming back.

Cabin? More like a garage! Looks better in the pictures. Overpriced, shower super small, and tvs kept turning off for no reason! Don't spend your money here! I paid close to 700 for two nights.

We were initially a little skeptical of staying at the resort because of some of its reviews, however, our experience was absolutely wonderful! Our room was clean and partially upgraded, the water was always hot, the A. C. Was always cold, and the culture of the resort was peaceful. Clem and Michelle were amazing hosts and very hospitable the entire stay. I would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone wanting a peaceful, relaxing, budget-friendly vacation. My stay at Delton Oaks was amazing! From paddle boarding in the lake to soaking in the heated pool. The amenities where as described and the lake was great! I would definitely recommend this place.

Comfy bed, location perfect just off the main strip and had lake view balcony. Service was good. Building itself not a looker, needs updating but was fine.

BUYER BEWARE: THIS PLACE IS SUPER SKETCHY! After hours of looking into cabin-type resorts, I thought I had finally found a great place for my group to stay for one night. I triple checked to make sure there wasn't a two-night minimum stay for a weekend night and nowhere under their "Policies" tab is this restriction stated. I even called them three times throughout the day and left a voicemail with no response AND emailed them with my inquiry with no response. Instead of waiting for them to respond, I was able to reserve my three rooms online, no problem. Then, a half hour later I get a call from them saying "I'm not sure why you were able to book for one night online because we have a two-night minimum stay for the weekends. So we will have to cancel your reservation. " I am incredibly upset by their lack of communication and definitely will never consider them again. Update: A month later, I checked my credit card statement AND THEY NEVER REFUNDED MY CREDIT CARD! IT WAS AN ALMOST $800 CHARGE! THEY are the ones who canceled my reservation and I got emails stating the reservations were canceled but THEY DID NOT GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK! I called and left a voicemail about it but have not heard back from them yet. I am letting my credit card company deal with them as they have caused me enough stress already. I also see that their Policies tab still does not reflect their two-night minimum stay.

Clem and his wife Michelle have recently took over the resort. My husband and I stayed at one of there beach front rooms over looking the lake, equipped patio, grill, and full size refrigerator. Our room was extremely clean, the employees were hospitable, and family oriented. We had such a great time and looking forward to going back.

Stayed in the lakefront hotel. Beach is beautiful, great balcony view, nice pool. Everything in the room was clean and new looking. We don't have a lot of hotel experience but we loved our stay here.

I love staying on the lake and since our favorite place closed a couple years ago this one offered a great alternative. A lot of activities like swimming in the heated pool or lake, campfire, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and of course relaxing. The rooms are clean and well decorated. It was a little pricey but well worth it with the free Noah's Arc passes!

The rooms are no where near as nice as the pictures make them seem to be. I'm a touring musician, been all over the US and Canada. I've stayed in road side motels that were nicer. For the price, not worth it. Also, they charge a resort fee at check out… it's not a resort. Just because you put 'resort' in the name, doesn't make it a resort. "Motel 6 Resort"… it's STILL a motel 6. Tv's are from the Stone Age, the water pressure in the showers are terrible. And the water goes from hot to cold. Never staying here again.

I’m not one to write reviews but since this is usually a bigger vacation for people I thought I would. I have lots of pros and unfortunately some cons. We ended up staying in the 10 person villa, the photos made it look beautiful – when we first arrived I was disappointed, I’m a clean freak and this cabin wasn’t clean at all, I felt dirty my whole vacation. The screen in porch had holes all over the screen and full of spider webs. The blinds in the living room had what looked like vomit on them, the kitchen was okay – except the fact it’s a 10 person cabin and it didn’t even have 10 spoons, forks and knifes, along with plates (luckily we packed all that ourselves). The advertising said it had two rooms with TV’s but only one room did. They only provided us with 4 towels – it’s a 10 person cabin you would think they would have 10 towels – we went to the front desk and they did provide us with the additional 6 – but we only have 4 washrags total. We needed to use the pull out couches – they had spare sheets in the drawers in the rooms with 4 pillows. But no blankets or pillow cases…we also had to get these at the front desk – they couldn’t find any blankets when we went down to the desk and said they will bring them to us later cause they need to find some spares in a room that are not being used – I thought that was weird. The ceiling fans were on high speed at all times and had no way to make them a slower speed and it wasn't ideal when trying to cook or sweep the kitchen.

Great view of Lake Delton nice to be directly 30 feet from the lake then stay in a hotel and had have to drive to the lake. Resort is pet friendly and with the room you stay in you get access to grills for outside cooking with the family. Free Wi-Fi and cable with the most popular channels. Rooms are perfect size and bathrooms come equipped with fresh towels and and fairly sized shower with free control over how hot or cold you'd like.

Best place to stay in Wisconsin Dells! This place is awesome. You are right on the lake unlike most places in the dells (plus the whole lake is nice and sandy). Delton Oaks offers free canoes, a heated outdoor pool and a campfire every night. My family and I had a blast staying here and I would recommend it to anyone. Cant wait to come back!

The house nicely accommodated 8 of us with comfy beds in each room and pull out couches. It was right on the lake with its own dock area, fire pit, and back yard. The outdoor swimming pool was right next to it which was great. Water park passes were included, the place was right up the street, as well as a water sport rental facility. Staff was very helpful, came and fixed a broken light right after we brought it to their attention. Would definitely come back!

Dive, of all dive motels! Definitely not a "resort"! And most definitely not worth the outrageous inflated prices. Webpage may also be glitchy as it booked our single night stay as two nights. Don't believe any good reviews as they are most likely written by friends or family. I wouldn't stay at this ruin of a run down motel again if a convention of serial killers had booked up every room in a hundred mile radius!

"Fully equipped kitchen. " Nice place to stay but if you plan on cooking food you may want to consider still bringing some of your own things. Silverware is included but we are in a CVS buying a sponge as I write this. Wouldn't hurt to also bring your own knife, cutting board, measuring utensils, pans, whisks, etc. Overall enjoying my stay, but I wish they had a more specific list of what they actually provide. Rooms are nice, shower is considerably big which is great and the bed is reasonably comfortable.

I've stayed at Delton Oaks a few times over the past few years since the new owners took over, and the improvements have been amazing! Every time I've been back there's been something new. This is really a retro kind of place. It's one of the few original Lake Delton vacation motels still standing, and being right on the water and away from the busy streets, its a place you can really relax and feel like you're on a real Wisconsin vacation at the lake. If you're looking for a 5-star hotel with granite countertops, gold-plated faucets, and a price to match, go somewhere else, but if you're looking for a clean, comfortable, family-run moderately priced place to stay while vacationing in the Dells, Delton Oaks Resort is it.

We drove up to the resort and could not believe our eyes, it looked like something out of a bad, cheap movie, not what I expected when paying $275 a night. The website says that the units were newly remodeled, but all that was done to the unit was new paint (what looked to be like it was put up over wall paper), carpet and flooring. The shower was very small for an average sized adult and was so dark you could not close the shower curtain. We also did not have hot or warm water after 15 minutes of letting the water run and for the duration of the shower. Just outside the shower, there was rotted wood and black mold on the walls. We had carpet squares that were coming up off the floor, and stains and rips in the furniture. All over the outside of the building it was noticed that there was black mold and that the shingles were deteriorating. The free Wi-Fi did not have a good connection (couldn't even use it) and all we saw for a child's playground area was a old swing set. The air conditioning unit looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in years. It was my understanding that the current owners bought the resort (shouldn't really call it a resort, more like run down motels on the water) and were in the process of fixing them up. Definitely not worth $275 a night (not including the Noah's ark passes, that was a separate charge). The pictures you see on the website are very deceiving.

Garbage! This place is a dive and has been a dive as long as I can remember. The only redeeming factor was the old fashioned family and pet friendly attitude. Now under new ownership there is no redeeming quality left. The new owners are happy to take your cash and make promises they will forget. The buildings are falling apart. The facility is in tear down condition. If you are looking for a pit to have a college party pile in this may be your place. If you are looking for a family friendly place, be warned! — Dr. Tp.

This place has been ruined by the new owners. My family has been coming here for awhile now and always picked Delton Oaks for the fact hey accept pets. Before you could have the dogs anywhere and in the water. Now they can only go to designated areas. This is just sad. Our dog loves the water and loved Delton Oaks. Looks like we wont be staying here again. Such a shame.

We decided to stay at Delton Oaks because of the pets allowed and we wanted to be off the beaten path a bit close to lake. What a mistake! The website says its favorite amenities is the sand beach and heated outdoor pool. What a joke The outdoor pool was way to chlorinated and it was freezing and the beach was full of weeds and had the smell of dead fish. Website also said that there were row boats and paddle boards? Umm another lie. There's no boats or paddle boards when I asked the maintenance guy he said he new nothing about these amenities. Room 10 was outdated, smelled like mothballs, windows had 30 years of dirt dust and grime on them. Critters running around in ceiling and bat poop in room. I'd say this is one of the worst resorts in the dells and its way over priced.

IT would be great place for people who have pets. For that price, it'd be hard for me to consider to return despite it does have a great view. People wake up in the morning will do some jet boat activity in the lake and so you will hear the lashing sound. Everything is at least 20 years old (not well built to begin with), for $155 a night. It's right in the back of Noah's Ark. The pool is standard. It's quiet at night, if your neighbors don't lit up camp fire and have their good time. Conclusion: if you have a good size family along with pets, this is a great place to go to have fun (quiet and safe). I want to choose somewhere that doesn't have pets next time. The clerk staff, the owner, is OK, not too friendly and are not that considerate.
